HIS GRACE IS SUFFICIENT

Sometimes it takes drastic circumstances or measures to get our undivided attention. Why must we lose a love one, our jobs, possessions, or get sick, before we turn to God. The sad thing about it, is that’s the time, when we are exposed, and most vulnerable, thus allowing us to do, and accept things, we will regret later on in life. But I must tell you, that is the time when God is waiting with open arms to receive us. He tells us, ”His grace is sufficient for us; because His strength is made perfect in our weakness” (2 Corinthians 12:9-10). We should never allow, our circumstances to dictate how we think, or behave. Because, it is then we make the biggest mistakes of our lives. Normally, this is the best time to seek God (Matthew 6:33), and acknowledge Him, so that He can direct your path (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Please don’t accept, and receive Gods word in some areas of your life, and don’t apply it, when you need it the most. ‘Gods word should always be a lamp to our feet, and a light to our path'(Psalms 119:105). Gods word is the best weapon, that exists to combat the enemies, of our thoughts, doubts, fears, evils, mediocrity, and low self-esteem. Allow the word of God to speak life into your circumstances. Lets start with,”many are the afflictions of the righteous; but the Lord delivered him out of them all”(Psalms 34:19),God says,”His plans for us, is to prosper, and not harm us, to give us hope, and a future (Jeremiah 29:11), we are more than conquerors, because He loves us (Romans 8:37), when all else fails, there is only one alternative, and He is God, follow the professionals in the Bible, who have been there, and done that.

One of my favorites was David, he had a tumultuous life, troubles, defeat, failures, and disappointments, but he was still blessed, and highly favored. Check it out for your self, he wrote most, if not all the Psalms, listen to this one, “I was young, and now I am old; but I have never seen the righteous forsaken; nor his seed begging bread” (Psalms 37:25). All through the Psalms, he beged, cried, prayed, and God always helped him. Because, David always praised, thanked, and sang to Him (God). Listen to what David said, “I will praise the Lord at all times; His praises shall continually be in my mouth” (Psalms 34:1), “but I will hope continually, and will praise you yet more and more, my mouth shall tell of your righteousness, and your salvation all the day, for I do not know their limits”(Psalms 71:14 -15). When God helps you, are you hiding it? It’s no secret what God can do. Are you taking all the credit for yourself, telling people, how educated you are, or how pretty you are, that’s why you are where you are, you better stop that. Please folks allow God to supply your needs, according to His riches in glory through Christ Jesus(Philippians 4:19), and let the world knows.

Beloved, God has sent His only begotten son, into the world, as payment for our sins, if you believe, and accept Him (John 3:16; John 6:40). I don’t care what anyone says, Jesus is the only way to God, John 14:6 says so.

I implore you, to taste and see that the Lord is good, and blessed are the people who trust in Him (Psalm 34:8, and 119:103), if you have never met Jesus, let me introduce you to Him, go to the top of this blog, click on to the salvation page, and follow the instructions, trust me it will be the best decision, and choice you ever make. I give God the glory, honor, praise, and thanks for using me to deliver, his message to His people, I hope it blessed you, as it did me, I pray that He will keep you, and guide you, to obey His will, and travel down His paths in Jesus Name, amen.

JESUS IS OUR ASSURANCE

Why wait till you hit the bottom to seek God? Why not make Jesus, your first option instead of your last? It’s always when people are at an intersection or cross-roads between a rock and a hard place, that they know who Jesus is,and try to seek Him. It’s the only time, they call on Him day and night, that’s the time they get spiritual and start to sing blessed assurance Jesus is mine, and that’s the time you will have to repent from your sins, then accept and believe on Jesus Christ, before God can truly help you.

Assurance is a positive declaration intended to give confidence. It is also a pledge  or guarantee made by someone; but times have changed, and people have changed and the meanings have escape clauses in them. For example; marriage used to be the ultimate assurance that only death will separate a man and a woman who God has joined  together in holy matrimony, but that has changed. Politicians promise to bring changes to the community, and when they get in nothing changes.

People used to have the assurance that when a door is closed, God will open a window, that allows us to climb out, without a scratch, bruise or blemish. What has happened to our confidence in our God who owns the universe, and everything in it? How easily we forget that Philippians 4:19 tells us that, “My God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” In 1 Peter 5:7, His word tells us to cast all our care on Him, because He cares for us.

How did we ever allow the devil to implant doubt and fear in our minds, when God clearly tells us in 2 Timothy 1:7 that, He (God) never gives us the spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. So now that you realize that fear is a spirit from the devil get rid of it, cast it out, rebuke it, and bind it in the Name of Jesus Christ, and loose power, love, and a sound mind.

I could fill this blog with assurance scriptures, but if you don’t read them, meditate on them, exercise or put them into practice what good is it. It’s like someone gives you a million dollars, and you never spend it, because you either forget that you have it, you just don’t know how to spend it, or what to do with it, so you just sit on it while you are hungry and in need.

Listen, it’s time to accept God’s positive declarations in the Bible, which assure us of His promises. For example: eternal life (1 John 2:25), He will add everything we need if we seek Him first (Matthew 6:33), He will direct our paths, if we acknowledge Him(Proverbs 3 :5-6), He will never leave or forsake me (Hebrew 13:5, James 1:5), nothing or no one can separate me from His love(Romans 8:38-39).Wow! This is exciting, and the Bible is full of assurances.

Thank God for His word that informs us of our assurances through His son Jesus Christ. Do you have this assurance? What are you waiting for ? Do you want it? It’s already paid for by God’s son (Jesus Christ) His ultimate gift to us. So just go to the top of this blog, click on to the salvation page, and follow the instructions, and for further studies and information, go to www.riversofrevival.com.

All glory, praise, honor, and thanks go to God for using me to write this message. I pray that He will give you everything you need spiritually to read and understand His messages through the Bible, this blog or whatever means necessary. I pray for you to seek Him. In Jesus name, amen.

WHO CONTROLS THE ECONOMY?

It infuriates me when children of God are worried about the economy, the decline of health care, and all the stress this world has to offer. Do you really know who makes and controls this universe, plus everything and everyone in it? Is worrying a testimony of your lack of faith and trust in the only true God? or is it an indication of which god you are serving?

As children of God, the things of this world should not trouble, bother, concern or worry us so much because the Bible tells us in Matthew 6:27-31,”Which of us by worrying can add one cubit to his stature…therefore do not worry.” Then 1 John 2:15-16 warns us to

love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

Did not God’s word tell us to cast all our cares upon Him, because He cares for us ( 1 Peter 5:7; Psalm 55:22). Jesus tells us in Matthew 11:27-28, “All things have been delivered to me by my Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father, nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him.” Here is the best part, “Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest”.

Now after hearing that why are we concerned and overwhelmed by a failing economy, when we know who is in control. God distinctly tells us that, He will supply all our needs according to His riches in glory through Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). Where in it have He said He will supply our needs according to the economy, the politicians, your job, or any earthly vessel. The Bible tells us faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17).

Whose words are you listening to? Gods or mans? Which God are you serving? The god of this world or the God of the whole universe? Who is your eternal father? Who is your supplier? Who are you looking to or at? The government, and its political system who can’t help you, because they are looking for help themselves. Have you forgotten God’s word and His promises?

Listen children of God, we are warned in 1 Timothy 4:1 that we are operating, and functioning in the latter days, where people are abandoning their faith and following deceptive spirits, and things taught by demons, are you one of them? Lets go back to singing songs like: “Oh! Lord my God, I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder, thy power throughout the universe displayed. Have you consider the world Gods hands have made?”

Have you forgotten how great His faithfulness is? Morning by morning new mercies we see, all we ever needed His hands have provided. This is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance. For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the savior of all men, especially of those who believe (1 Timothy 4:9-10). In verse fifteen(1 Timothy 4:15) we are told to meditate on God’s word and give ourselves totally and entirely to them so that our benefits or profits may appear to all.

Children of God consider your ways. Unbeliever consider your ways also. God sent His son Jesus Christ for a reason. To save us from destruction now and forever. Will you accept or rededicate your life to Him before it’s too late? Just go to the top of this blog, click on to the salvation page, and follow the instructions.

Now to the King Eternal, Immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be the praise, glory, honor, and thanks for using me to minister to His children. May His grace, mercy, and peace be yours now and forever in Jesus name, Amen.

YOU ARE NOT IN CONTROL

Sometimes people who are in a position of authority like to use the phrase “It’s my way or the high way” which normally lets you know, by default, who is in control. Now, what I wonder is if God said “it’s my way or hell” would we still consider Him to be loving and kind? God, being the creator of all, has all the right in the world to use that terminology because He is in charge. Only God has the power of life and death in His hands.

In life, we must realize that even though we desire, want and pray for things if it is not in God’s will or plans, we will not get it. This is when  we need to realize that He is in control of everything. God is the C.E.O. of the entire world, master of the universe, therefore it is not what we want but what God wants for us. It’s not what we think but what God thinks. We need to come to an understanding that we do not have the final word, He does.

In Isaiah 55:8-9, God clearly lets us know that,”His thoughts are not our thoughts, neither are His ways like ours.” He then tells us that the distance is, “as far as the heavens are from the earth, that is how far apart our thoughts and ways are.” 1 Samuel 16:7 relates to this by saying, “The Lord does not see things as man sees it; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”

Most of us are control freaks, yes we are all guilty of this, who have to be in control of everything and everyone.  However, Proverbs 16:1-9 tells us that we can make all the preparations we want but when it comes down to the end of the last quarter God has the final answer/say. A mans heart devises his way but only the Lord can direct his steps. It is when we commit our works unto the Lord that He establishs our thoughts. Proverbs 3 :5-6 tells us not to lean on our own understanding but to acknowledge Him in all our ways and once we acknowledge him he will direct us. We have to be able to trust Him just as much as we think we can trust our friends, spouse and parents.

We must lose control, we have to give it up, we need to relinquish it and put it all in Gods hands.  In order for us to be a success we must understand that when a mans ways please the Lord He makes even that mans enemies be at peace with him. It’s when you try to go against Gods plans that life throws you a curve ball and becomes difficult and overbearing. Then, with that curve ball being thrown in your direction, instead of being blessed you are stressed beyond words.

You will never be in control until you take Gods advice and cast all your burdens and cares onto him (Psalm 55:22 ; 1 Peter 5:7). You have to enjoy the peace that only He can give. If you don’t know about God and the special gift of His son (Jesus Christ) that John 3 :16 tells us about then go to the top of this blog. Please click on to the salvation page and follow the instructions. It will be the best thing you have ever done and you as well as God, our father, will be joyful.

Thank you God for using me to get your message out to all those who need your love and guidance.

PROMISES

People often say a promise is a comfort to a fool.  Some people make promises, and never keep them, while others say, promises were made to be broken, like a politician after he gets into office, or someone getting a divorce. But I am so glad God is not like man. I can’t imagine what life would be like if God didn’t keep His promises. What if He didn’t send Jesus as He had promised (John 3:16-17), what if He decided not to stand on His promises, ”never to leave or forsake us ” (Deuteronomy 31:6-8; Joshua 1:5; Hebrews 13:5). Can you imagine we are persecuted, and he forsake us (2 Corinthians 4:9)? What if we don’t get healed by His stripes (Isaiah 53:5)?

Now please help me figure this out, if God always keeps His promises, why isn’t everyone serving Him? Why is everyone depending on human efforts, and skills when we have Him? His word tells us ‘to cast all our cares on Him, because He cares’ (1 Peter 5:7). All His promises are yea and amen (2 Corinthians 1:20). He is never slack concerning His promises (2 Peter 3:9). What He promises He is able to perform (Romans 4:21). He is faithful with His promises (Hebrews 10:23; 11:11). He promises us eternal life (1 John 2:25). So what is your excuse, you don’t want His promises, His grace, His mercy, His love, His forgiveness?

I hate to disappoint you, but if you don’t accept His son Jesus Christ before you die or he comes, you will not be entitled to it. So please accept Him now before it’s too late, to accept Him go to, the top of my blog, and click on to the salvation page, and follow the instructions, it will be the best decision you ever make.

I give God the glory, honor, praise, and thanks for using me to deliver this message to the masses. I pray it blesses them as it has blessed me, and that you will continue in His will and ways in Jesus name I pray, amen.

UNANSWERED PRAYERS

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” that’s what Hebrews 11:1 tells us. Now who is your faith in? Yourself or God? His will, His ability, and His promises or yours?

Did you know that faith without works is dead (James 2:17).

Doesn’t demonstration beat elaboration, and a man without hope is hopeless. But let me ask you something, when you ask for something, most of the time, don’t you have to wait for it, or you’re one of those, “ It’s now or never people.”

Yes, Numbers 23:19 tells you, ”He does not lie,” and 2 Peter 3:9 tells us, ”He is not slack concerning His promises,” and He did say a few times, ”ask anything in His (Jesus’) name and you will receive it” (Matthew 21:22; John 14:12-14).

So what’s the problem? A few things is the problem:

(1) Did you ask for it in Jesus name? John 16:23-24.

(2) Is it God’s will or yours? James 4:3; Matthew 26:39.

(3) Are you a Christian? If no, how do you expect to get anything from someone you don’t know. Matthew 25:11-12, John 10:14, (sorry that’s God’s word. Read to the end if you want to know Him, it tells you what to do).

(4) Okay, you are a Christian, what type? Hot or Cold? Listen when it comes to God, there is no lukewarm, nor half and half Christians. It’s either you are or you are not. Revelations 3:15-16.

(5) As a Christian, are you walking in righteousness? If not, then you are praying in vain or amiss. How do I know? His word says so, read them all for yourself, Isaiah 59:1-2, 1 Peter 3:12, James 5:16, Psalm 37:25, Matthew 6:33, Psalm 11:7, this is just a few.

(6) You must wait on God. He only works on His schedule or time, not ours (Isaiah 55:8-9).

(7) While waiting, you must not murmur, complain, doubt, be anxious or fearful, and if you have any unrepented sins, known and unknown, ask for forgiveness. Once you ask in faith and not waver, the answer is on the way (James 1:6-8; Hebrews 10:23).

(8) We must cast down all imaginations (past failures, doubts, fears, etc.) that comes against the knowledge or word of God – 2 Corinthians 10:5. Then cast all your cares on God – 1 Peter 5:7. Then go sleep or rest – Hebrews 4:3.

(9) To eliminate all negativity, you must now praise Him, thank Him, read the scriptures, meditate on it, declare it, confess it, hide it in your heart, while confidently waiting, according to 1 John 3:21.

(10) I don’t care who you are, if you are not right with God you are not getting anything you ask for. Do you want to get right with him or know Him, go to the top of this blog, click the salvation page, and follow the instructions.

I thank God, Our Heavenly Father, for the privilege of sharing this message with you. I pray that He will guide you in His will and ways. To God be the honor, praise, and glory, now, and forever in Jesus Name. Amen.
