HAS YOUR LIFE CHANGED SINCE YOU MET JESUS?

Has your life and lifestyle changed since you had an encounter with Jesus, like Saul who became Paul or Zacchaeus the tax collector?  Or are you doing the same old things repeatedly and perpetrating a fraud under the Christian banner? Most people claim that they are Christians and they love God, yet their actions and lifestyle says something different. However, whatever a man sows that shall he also reap, because you can’t mock God. You are either for Him or against Him. If you are for God then your actions and lifestyle will reflect it.

1 John 2:15-16 “Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world – the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life – is not of the Father but is of the world.”

James 4:4 “Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.”

1 John 2:15-16 and James 4:4 lets us know that anyone who loves the world, the love of the Father is not in them because all that is in the world is the lust of the flesh, eyes and the pride of life. So who are you fooling? No one but yourself and Judgment Day will tell.

It does not matter to Jesus how tall or short you are, how rich or poor you are, or what color or race you are. He came to seek all who are lost, burdened and heavy laden. Like Zacchaeus, all who seek Him will find Him. All who are curious will find Him. All who are willing to invite Jesus into their lives will no doubt be transformed into a new creature; old habits and lifestyles will be abolished.

Zacchaeus’ encounter with Jesus changed him drastically and immediately. It says in verse six of Luke 19 that he received Jesus joyfully. Because he was not happy with his lifestyle; a prominent job and riches, he had it all, yet was not happy, but when he heard that Jesus was coming, he sought to see Him and went to an extreme measure to see Him. When I think of the extreme Zacchaeus went through to see Jesus, I pray that the people of today’s society would do the same instead of going out of their way to see someone famous, like an entertainer, movie star, singer, sports figure, politician or even a clergy person who are famous. Why not go out of your way to meet Jesus who can save you and give you eternal life, joy, peace and more than a two-minute thrill with an entertainer.

Zacchaeus’ transformation was evident, he confessed his sins of extortion and promised to restore everything he took from poor folks with interest and even a promise to give half of his wealth to the poor. The beauty of this story is that God through Jesus gave him something that was more than he already had, better than he already had and something he never had that money couldn’t buy.

Zacchaeus realized that the best gifts in life are free and that it was more blessed to give than to receive. Jesus gave him something and he in turn learned the principle of giving, so he was willing to do the same by giving what he had to give to bring joy to someone else.

We might not have wealth to give, but we can offer salvation because it’s worth more than money. We can give encouragement or assist in ways that will help someone. As Christians let’s show the world what a privilege and pleasure it is to be a child of the King of kings and God of the universe.

  • Instead of always looking to receive, why not try to be a giver. It is more blessed to give than to receive.

“Help me Lord to be honest and true in all that I say and do; give me the courage and whatever I need to do what is right, to bring to the world a glimpse of your light.” -Prayer from ODB

If you have never said a prayer to receive the salvation of the Lord you can do so now by going to the Salvation page above. On that page you will see a prayer asking Jesus to enter into your heart; you can pray that prayer or pray one personally to God.

All glory, honor, praise and thanks go to God for using me to deliver this message. I pray that He will give all who read this message the spiritual gifts necessary to comprehend and act upon His word. I exercise my power and authority in the name of Jesus to bind every tactic of the enemy that will try to stop, hinder, or prevent this word from reaching its intended people. I loose the Holy Spirit and the heavenly angels to secure this word so that it reaches its intended people, according to Matthew 16:19 and Luke 10:19 in the omnipotent name of Jesus, Amen.

WHO CONTROLS THE ECONOMY?

It infuriates me when children of God are worried about the economy, the decline of health care, and all the stress this world has to offer. Do you really know who makes and controls this universe, plus everything and everyone in it? Is worrying a testimony of your lack of faith and trust in the only true God? or is it an indication of which god you are serving?

As children of God, the things of this world should not trouble, bother, concern or worry us so much because the Bible tells us in Matthew 6:27-31,”Which of us by worrying can add one cubit to his stature…therefore do not worry.” Then 1 John 2:15-16 warns us to

love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

Did not God’s word tell us to cast all our cares upon Him, because He cares for us ( 1 Peter 5:7; Psalm 55:22). Jesus tells us in Matthew 11:27-28, “All things have been delivered to me by my Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father, nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him.” Here is the best part, “Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest”.

Now after hearing that why are we concerned and overwhelmed by a failing economy, when we know who is in control. God distinctly tells us that, He will supply all our needs according to His riches in glory through Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). Where in it have He said He will supply our needs according to the economy, the politicians, your job, or any earthly vessel. The Bible tells us faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17).

Whose words are you listening to? Gods or mans? Which God are you serving? The god of this world or the God of the whole universe? Who is your eternal father? Who is your supplier? Who are you looking to or at? The government, and its political system who can’t help you, because they are looking for help themselves. Have you forgotten God’s word and His promises?

Listen children of God, we are warned in 1 Timothy 4:1 that we are operating, and functioning in the latter days, where people are abandoning their faith and following deceptive spirits, and things taught by demons, are you one of them? Lets go back to singing songs like: “Oh! Lord my God, I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder, thy power throughout the universe displayed. Have you consider the world Gods hands have made?”

Have you forgotten how great His faithfulness is? Morning by morning new mercies we see, all we ever needed His hands have provided. This is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance. For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the savior of all men, especially of those who believe (1 Timothy 4:9-10). In verse fifteen(1 Timothy 4:15) we are told to meditate on God’s word and give ourselves totally and entirely to them so that our benefits or profits may appear to all.

Children of God consider your ways. Unbeliever consider your ways also. God sent His son Jesus Christ for a reason. To save us from destruction now and forever. Will you accept or rededicate your life to Him before it’s too late? Just go to the top of this blog, click on to the salvation page, and follow the instructions.

Now to the King Eternal, Immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be the praise, glory, honor, and thanks for using me to minister to His children. May His grace, mercy, and peace be yours now and forever in Jesus name, Amen.

SPIRITUAL VS CARNAL CHRISTIANS

Spiritual minded Christians versus the carnal minded Christian, they both claim to be Christians, but only one is going to Heaven. The carnal minded Christian has one foot in the church, and the other out, and the foot that’s out is on a wet and slippery road, that will slide them straight to hell.

They fail to realize that,

  • (1) If you love the world, you are an enemy of God (James 4:4).
  • (2) You can’t love the world, the things of the world, and love God (1 John 2:15-16).
  • (3) You can’t serve two masters, it’s impossible to serve them both (Matthew 6:24).
  • (4) A double-minded person is unstable (James 1:8).
  • (5)True Christians are not conformed to this world, but are transformed by the renewing of their minds (Romans 12:2).
  • (6) God says, He knows your works, that you are not hot, or cold, just lukewarm, and He has to spew you out (Revelation 3: 15-16).

It’s time to choose who you are going to serve (Luke 16:13). Now the spiritually minded Christians are so Holy, they get on your nerves, but it’s not wrong they are only following what Gods word says, ‘He chose us before the foundation of the world to be Holy, and without blame before Him, in love’ (Ephesians 1:4, Ephesians 5:27), and we have to be pure, because Our Father is pure (1 John 3:3). But we can’t be too spiritual minded that we are not earthly good, because we still have to show love and compassion like Jesus did; you still have to love your neighbor as yourself. We got saved from the world, so that we can tell someone how good Jesus is once they accept, believe, and trust Him.

Jesus socialized, with people, but He knew who to hang out with, and where to go and not to go. Jesus went to Zacchaeus’ house not just to eat, but to introduce him to salvation, which led to him repenting (Luke 19:5-10). As a believer you can’t be too spiritually minded that you are not earthly good. “See, then, that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time because the days are evil, wherefore be ye not unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is” (Ephesians 5:15-17). But the wisdom that is from above, is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. If you are comfortable around people who are doing wrong or living a lie, then you better put on the belt of truth, and examine your walk with God, because something is not right. Now if you do not know God or His Son Jesus, whom, He sent to save your soul, go to the top of this blog, and click on to the salvation page, and follow the instructions. Trust me, it will be the best decision you ever make.

I give God the glory, praise, honor, and thanks for using me to deliver this message. I pray it was a blessing to you as it was to me, and that you will follow Him, and do His will until He returns in Jesus Name, amen.

LETS BE REAL

I am just curious, would a twenty-four year old female, marry an ordinary eighty-four year old man?

What would the media, or society have to say about that? What would be your response, if your daughter or son brought someone home older than you, and say we are getting married?

Now don’t get me wrong, I take my hat off to Mr. Hefner, I could never walk in his shoes, and he is one of a kind. But, if Mr. Hefner was not most women’s dream, of the ideal man to have, or most men’s wish, to be like him, or if he was not  rich, and famous, would a twenty-four year old, marry an ordinary, eighty-four year old man.

Now, I am curious to know, If there are Christian men or women out there who would love to be in this position. Would you really sell your soul? Just like that? Have you forgotten the scripture that says, “Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things are passed away; behold, all things become new, and all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to Himself by Christ Jesus” ( 2 Corinthians 5:17-18). Then, “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world, If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, that my friend, is not of God, but of the world (1 John 2:15-16). The Bible also tells us to, to flee from youthful lusts, but follow righteousness, faith, love, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart (2 Timothy 2:22). I can just imagine a lot of ladies his age are disgusted and crying what a shame, while the older gentlemen, his age saying, go Hef make us proud, we are old, but not cold. But, as Christians, we have to put away childish fantasies, and desires. The Bible tells us, “when we were children, we spoke as a child, understood as a child, thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things (1 Corinthians 13:11). I am just saying, where is the profit or benefit, if you gain the whole world, and lose your soul (Matthew 16:26).

Let’s be real, God sent His only begotten Son to save us; if you will accept Him and believe in Him (John 3:16-17; John 6:40). Listen people, Jesus is the only way to God (John 14:6). It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment (Hebrew 9:27-28).

Are you interested in knowing Him? Go to the top of this blog, click on to the salvation page, and follow the instructions, trust me, it will be the best thing you ever do.

It is an honor and pleasure, for God to use me, to deliver this message to His people, I give Him all the glory, praise, honor, and thanks. I pray that it was a blessing to you as it was to me, and that it will lead, guide, and direct you to do His will, all this I ask in the Mighty Name of Jesus, amen.
