What are you meditating on, or thinking 🤔 about that causes you to have a negative mindset ?

A POSITIVE MINDSET  IS A MENTAL ATTITUDE THAT FOCUSES ON OPTIMISM,OR  CONSTRUCTIVE THINKING ON THE THINGS OF GOD ,WHICH ARE GOOD AND PERFECT.  WHICH HELPS US TO EXPECT A FAVORABLE OUTCOME, WHEN WE ASK FOR ANYTHING  IN PRAYER, IN THE NAME OF JESUS.

“And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.” (John 14:13-14 NKJV).

Unbelievers will say,or think that we are ignorant, and out of touch with reality. But the Bible says: “lest Satan should take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices.” (2  Corinthians 2:11 NKJV). The devil doesn’t want us to be positive, Jesus describe him as : ” The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10 NKJV).

To have a positive mindset, we must adopt the mind of Christ. “Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, ”
Philippians 2:5 NKJV

HOW  DO YOU OVERCOME A NEGATIVE MINDSET? DO AS THE BIBLE SAYS:

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” (Romans 12:1-2 NKJV).

“For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.” ( 2 Corinthians 10:4-6 NKJV).

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.  FINALLY, BRETHREN, WHATEVER THINGS ARE TRUE, WHATEVER THINGS ARE NOBLE, WHATEVER THINGS ARE JUST, WHATEVER THINGS ARE PURE, WHATEVER THINGS ARE LOVELY, WHATEVER THINGS ARE OF GOOD REPORT, IF THERE IS ANY VIRTUE AND IF THERE IS ANYTHING PRAISEWORTHY —MEDITATE ON THESE THINGS.” (Philippians 4:6-8 NKJV).

“For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.” [ Ephesians 3:14-21 NKJV].

“What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written: “For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”(Romans 8:31-39 NKJV).

“He who observes the day, observes it to the Lord; and he who does not observe the day, to the Lord he does not observe it. He who eats, eats to the Lord, for he gives God thanks; and he who does not eat, to the Lord he does not eat, and gives God thanks. For none of us lives to himself, and no one dies to himself. For if we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s. For to this end Christ died and rose and lived again, that He might be Lord of both the dead and the living. But why do you judge your brother? Or why do you show contempt for your brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. For it is written: “As I live, says the Lord, Every knee shall bow to Me, And every tongue shall confess to God.” So then each of us shall give account of himself to God. Therefore let us not judge one another anymore, but rather resolve this, not to put a stumbling block or a cause to fall in our brother’s way.”(Romans 14:6-13 NKJV).

“But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.”(1 Corinthians 15:57-58 NKJV).

LORD YOU TELL US TO : “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”(Philippians 4:6-7 NKJV).

So Let’s Pray, LOVING   HEAVENLY  FATHER, it is our chief complaint that we do not love and serve You as we  ought to, please forgive us, and Help us to accept that we  can only do those things that please You as we decrease and You increase in our lives . Keep us from presumptuous sins,and from falling into any legalistic mindset, or from abusing the liberty we have in Christ through wrong choices. Please help us  shed all hidden pride ,and all appearances of self-importance so that we may be used by You.

We also pray that whatever choices we make in the ‘non-essentials’ of Christian life, we may glorify You in thought, word, and deed. Loving Father, we pray that in all things, we live to please You. Not in our own strength, but through the power of Your Holy Spirit. Bring us to the point where we can say without hesitation, “Thy will, not mine be done.”

Dear Lord Jesus, thank You for coming to earth to live a perfect life, and to die a cruel death so that we might be saved by grace through faith in You. We pray that whether we  live or whether we  die we  may do everything as unto You. IN THE ALMIGHTY NAME OF JESUS CHRIST OF NAZARETH WE PRAY. AMEN 🙏.

“Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, To God our Savior, Who alone is wise, Be glory and majesty, Dominion and power, Both now and forever. Amen.”[ Jude 1:24-25 NKJV].

“Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, The Creator of the ends of the earth, Neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall, BUT THOSE WHO WAIT ON THE LORD SHALL RENEW THEIR STRENGTH; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.”(Isaiah 40:28-31 NKJV).

Waiting on God is not a waste of time; when you are obedient to what He says to do in the Bible:

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”(Philippians 4:6-7 NKJV).

King David  said , “I WAITED patiently for the Lord; And He inclined to me, And heard my cry. He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, Out of the miry clay, And set my feet upon a rock, And established my steps.”(Psalms 40:1-2 NKJV) .

“Rest in the Lord, and WAIT patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass. Cease from anger, and forsake wrath; Do not fret—it only causes harm. For evildoers shall be cut off; But those who wait on the Lord, They shall inherit the earth.” (Psalms 37:7-9 NKJV).

“I would have lost heart, unless I had believed That I would see the goodness of the Lord In the land of the living. Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; WAIT, I say, on the Lord!” (Psalms 27:13-14 NKJV).

“The Lord is good to those who WAIT for Him, To the soul who seeks Him. It is good that one should hope and WAIT quietly For the salvation of the Lord.”
Lamentations 3:25-26 NKJV

LISTEN, waiting on the Lord does not mean that you do nothing. By faith you keep thanking, and praising. Because, you know what He said in His Word.

“Therefore it is of faith that it might be according to grace, so that the promise might be sure to all the seed, not only to those who are of the law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all (as it is written, “I have made you a father of many nations”) in the presence of Him whom he believed—God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did; who, contrary to hope, in hope believed, so that he became the father of many nations, according to what was spoken, “So shall your descendants be.” And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb. He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform. And therefore “it was accounted to him for righteousness.” (Romans 4:16-22 NKJV).

Experiencing the Manifested, Presence and Power of the Lord in PRAISE and WORSHIP.

” It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in PRAISING and THANKING the LORD; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and PRAISED the LORD, saying, For He is Good; for His mercy endures forever: that then the HOUSE was FILLED with a CLOUD, even the HOUSE of the LORD;
So that the priests could not stand to minister because of the CLOUD: for the GLORY of the LORD had FILLED the HOUSE of God.” ( 2 Chronicles 5 : 13-14 KJV).

” Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name!  Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits:  Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases,  Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,  Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.” ( Psalms 103:1-5 NKJV).

” Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands! Serve the Lord with gladness; Come before His presence with singing. Know that the Lord, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.  Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.  For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, And His truth endures to all generations.”( Psalms 100:1-5 NKJV).

” I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make its boast in the Lord; The humble shall hear of it and be glad. Oh, magnify the Lord with me, And let us exalt His name together. I sought the Lord, and He heard me, And delivered me from all my fears.  They looked to Him and were radiant, And their faces were not ashamed. This poor man cried out, and the Lord heard him, And saved him out of all his troubles.  The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him, And delivers them.  Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!  Oh, fear the Lord, you His saints!

There is no want to those who fear Him.  The young lions lack and suffer hunger; But those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing.  Come, you children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the Lord.  Who is the man who desires life, And loves many days, that he may see good? Keep your tongue from evil, And your lips from speaking deceit. Depart from evil and do good; Seek peace and pursue it. The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their cry. The face of the Lord is against those who do evil, To cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.  The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, And delivers them out of all their troubles.  The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the Lord delivers him out of them all.”( Psalms 34:1-19 NKJV).

● May your Life the New Testament House of God be filled with His Glory. And may you continue to experience this Awesome and Glorious Manifested Presence and Power of the Lord during your times praise and worship. Hallelujahs to Jesus!

● Continue to let the WORD of God be the standard for your life. Always LOVING others like Christ Jesus loves us while keeping our Faith, Trust and Confidence in Him.

” BLESSED (HAPPY, fortunate, to be envied) are the undefiled (the upright, truly sincere, and blameless) in the way [of the revealed will of God], who walk (order their conduct and conversation) in the law of the Lord (the whole of God’s revealed will).” (Psalms 119:1 AMPC).

” Keep back Your servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me! Then shall I be blameless, and I shall be innocent and clear of great transgression. Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my [firm, impenetrable] Rock and my Redeemer.”(Psalms 19:13-14 AMPC).

” Do all things without complaining and disputing,  that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding fast the word of life, so that I may rejoice in the day of Christ that I have not run in vain or labored in vain.” ( Philippians 2 : 14-16 NKJV).

” And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled  in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight— if indeed you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and are not moved away from the hope of the gospel which you heard, which was preached to every creature under heaven, of which I, Paul, became a minister.”( Colossians 1:21-23 NKJV).

” Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless; and consider that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation—as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given to him, has written to you,”(2 Peter 3: 14-15 NKJV).

There was a movie years ago called the inside man—- As Christians, The Holy Spirit is our inside man,our helper, our advocate, are we allowing Him to do His job in us,and through us ?

When people get caught doing wrong, they said something told me not to do it, that something  is  the Holy Spirit. As I John 4:4 NKJV says : ” You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.”

” Then King Nebuchadnezzar was astonished; and he rose in haste and spoke, saying to his counselors, “Did we not cast three men bound into the midst of the fire?” They answered and said to the king, “True, O king.”  “Look!” he answered, “I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.”( Daniel 3 :24-25 NKJV)

” But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.  Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” ( John 14:26 -27 NKJV).

1 You are a well beloved child of God, and you are made in the image and likeness of God.
2 You are greatly blessed, highly favored and deeply loved.
3 You are more than a conqueror in every situation.
4 You can and will do all things through Christ Who is you Strength.
5 You are not frustrated, you are not confused, you are not weak and you are definitely not a loser.
6 Don’t look at what is against you, but look to God Who is in you, with you and for you.
7 All your battles are winnable. Proclaim your victory. You are God’s winner.
8 God is your Protector and Provider.
9 God has assigned His Angels to keep your company.
10 You are blessed and prosperous and good success is yours.

” Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.”( 3 John 1:2 NKJV).

● You are very special to God and He wants you to know that, and please don’t let anyone tell you differently. Just simply live your life according to who God says you are. AMEN!

● Continue to let the WORD of God be the standard for your life. Always LOVING others like Christ Jesus loves us while keeping our Faith, Trust and Confidence in Him.
● BLESSED you are and BLESSED you will always be and to God be all the GLORY. Amen!

Baptism is important for three specific reasons :

1. To obey Jesus’s command in Mark 16:16.

2. To publicly profess your faith, trust, and confidence in Christ Jesus, and an outward declaration of faithfulness to God.

3. To Symbolize your union with Christ by going under the water, and coming back up.  Visually resembles the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, who paid the penalty for your sins. Above all, it signifies that the believers old sinful life has ended, and the beginning of a new resurrected life in Christ Jesus.  Even Jesus got baptized, to show  us how it’s done.

Matthew 3:13-17 NKJV says :
” Then Jesus came from Galilee to John at the Jordan to be baptized by him. And John tried to prevent Him, saying, “I need to be baptized by You, and are You coming to me?” But Jesus answered and said to him, “Permit it to be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness.” Then he allowed Him.  When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him. And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

Mark 16:16 NKJV says this  :
” HE WHO BELIEVES AND IS BAPTIZED WILL BE SAVED; BUT HE WHO DOES NOT BELIEVE WILL BE CONDEMNED. “

” JESUS SAID, MY SHEEP HEAR MY VOICE, AND THEY FOLLOW ME.” ( John 10: 27 NKJV).

Acts 8:35-39 NKJV is an illustration of someone who believe, and got baptized:
” Then Philip opened his mouth, and beginning at this Scripture, preached Jesus to him. Now as they went down the road, they came to some water. And the eunuch said, “See, here is water. What hinders me from being baptized?”  Then Philip said, “If you believe with all your heart, you may.” And he answered and said, “I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.” So he commanded the chariot to stand still. And both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water, and he baptized him.  Now when they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught Philip away, so that the eunuch saw him no more; and he went on his way rejoicing.

” WHAT SHALL WE SAY THEN? SHALL WE CONTINUE IN SIN, THAT GRACE MAY ABOUND? GOD FORBID. HOW SHALL WE, THAT ARE DEAD TO SIN, LIVE ANY LONGER THEREIN?
KNOW YE NOT, THAT SO MANY OF US AS WERE BAPTIZED INTO JESUS CHRIST WERE BAPTIZED INTO HIS DEATH? THEREFORE WE ARE BURIED WITH HIM BY BAPTISM INTO DEATH: THAT LIKE AS CHRIST WAS RAISED UP FROM THE DEAD BY THE GLORY OF THE FATHER, EVEN SO WE ALSO SHOULD WALK IN NEWNESS OF LIFE. FOR IF WE HAVE BEEN PLANTED TOGETHER IN THE LIKENESS OF HIS DEATH, WE SHALL BE ALSO IN THE LIKENESS OF HIS RESURRECTION: KNOWING THIS, THAT OUR OLD MAN IS CRUCIFIED WITH HIM, THAT THE BODY OF SIN MIGHT BE DESTROYED, THAT HENCEFORTH WE SHOULD NOT SERVE SIN.”( Romans 6:1-6 NKJV).

” Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.  Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.”( 2 Corinthians 5:17-19 NKJV).

” But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.  No more shall every man teach his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the Lord. For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more.” Thus says the Lord, Who gives the sun for a light by day, The ordinances of the moon and the stars for a light by night, Who disturbs the sea, And its waves roar (The Lord of hosts is His name):”( Jeremiah 31:33-35 NKJV).

” Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, Whose sin is covered.  Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, And in whose spirit there is no guile.  When I kept silence, my bones waxed old Through my roaring all the day long.  For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: My moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Selah.  I acknowledged my sin unto thee, And mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; And thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.  For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: Surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him.  Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; Thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.  I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye. Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: Whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee.  Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: But he that trusteth in the LORD, mercy shall compass him about.  Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous: And shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.”( Psalms 32:1-11 KJV).

” Who is a God like You, Pardoning iniquity And passing over the transgression of the remnant of His heritage? He does not retain His anger forever, Because He delights in mercy. He will again have compassion on us, And will subdue our iniquities. You will cast all our sins Into the depths of the sea.”( Micah 7:18-19 NKJV).

” For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.”( Hebrews 8:12 NKJV).

” If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.  If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.  If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.  If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.”( 1 John 1:6-10 NKJV).

You are valuable to God. You are His prized possession,made in His image and likeness. That’s why, He send His only begotten Son, Jesus to pay the price or penalty for your sins,by dying on the cross, that’s how much He loves  us ❤️,and wants a relationship with us.

” For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well.  My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.  Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, The days fashioned for me, When as yet there were none of them. How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them!..”( Psalms 139: 13-17 NKJV).

” And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.  Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.  But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.  Fear ye not therefore, YE ARE OF MORE VALUE THAN MANY SPARROWS.”( Matthew 10:28-31 KJV).

” Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.  And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God. All things are lawful for me, but all things are not helpful. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any. Foods for the stomach and the stomach for foods, but God will destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for sexual immorality but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body. And God both raised up the Lord and will also raise us up by His power.

Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a harlot? Certainly not! Or do you not know that he who is joined to a harlot is one body with her? For “the two,” He says, “shall become one flesh.” But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him.  Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.”(1 Corinthians 6:9-20 NKJV).

” Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,  to the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.”[ Jude 1:24-25 KJV].
