YOU CAN’T SERVE TWO MASTERS.

Who or what is in control of your life ? Who or what is your God ?

Exodus 20:3-6 AMPC says:
” You shall have no other gods before or besides Me.  You shall not make yourself any graven image [to worship it] or any likeness of anything that is in the heavens above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; You shall not bow down yourself to them or serve them; for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generation of those who hate Me, [Isa. 42:8; 48:11.] But showing mercy and steadfast love to a thousand generations of those who love Me and keep My commandments.

IS THE CREATOR OF THE HEAVEN AND EARTH YOUR GOD, OR IS SOMETHING OR SOMEONE ELSE?

” No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will stand by and be devoted to the one and despise and be against the other. You cannot serve God and mammon (deceitful riches, money, possessions, or whatever is trusted in).(Matthew 6:24 AMPC).

Let’s look at another translation, maybe you will understand,it better.

“You can’t worship two gods at once. Loving one god, you’ll end up hating the other. Adoration of one feeds contempt for the other. You can’t worship God and Money both. “If you decide for God, living a life of God-worship, it follows that you don’t fuss about what’s on the table at mealtimes or whether the clothes in your closet are in fashion. There is far more to your life than the food you put in your stomach, more to your outer appearance than the clothes you hang on your body. Look at the birds, free and unfettered, not tied down to a job description, careless in the care of God. And you count far more to him than birds.”(Matthew 6:24-26 MSG).

” And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell; but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. The people answered, Far be it from us to forsake the Lord to serve other gods; For it is the Lord our God Who brought us and our fathers up out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage, Who did those great signs in our sight and preserved us in all the way that we went and among all the peoples through whom we passed.” ( Joshua 24 : 15-17 AMPC).

” For there [is only] one God, and [only] one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, Who gave Himself as a ransom for all [people, a fact that was] attested to at the right and proper time.”( 1 Timothy 2: 5-6 AMPC).

” Now to Him Who is able to keep you without stumbling or slipping or falling, and to present [you] unblemished (blameless and faultless) before the presence of His glory in triumphant joy and exultation [with unspeakable, ecstatic delight]–  To the one only God, our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory (splendor), majesty, might and dominion, and power and authority, before all time and now and forever (unto all the ages of eternity). Amen (so be it).” [ Jude 1: 24-25 AMPC].

MATURITY

The Mature Believer in Christ
+Knowledge and Age together do not translate maturity in Christ Jesus.
+For all Believers Knowledge and Age demonstrated in Christlikeness translates maturity.
+Christlikeness, Perfection, Completion and Maturation are all Synonymous Terms.

Galatians 4:19 KJVS says :
My little children, of whom I travail in birth again UNTIL CHRIST BE FORMED IN YOU.
+Christ formed in us is Perfection, Completion and Maturation.

Then Philippians 3:14 KJVS reminds us to : press toward the mark for the prize of THE HIGH CALLING OF GOD IN CHRIST JESUS.
+The High Calling or the Upward Calling of God in Christ Jesus is Christlikeness, Perfection, Completion and Maturation.

  • Keeping you in my heart, thoughts and prayers, that you may stand Blameless, Perfect, and Completed in Maturity and Christlikeness and in all the will of God. Amen!
  • “Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, to the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.” [ Jude 1:24-25 NKJV].

Continue to let the WORD of God be the standard for your life. Always LOVING others like Christ Jesus loves us while keeping our Faith, Trust and Confidence in Him.
• BLESSED you are and BLESSED you will always be and to God be all the GLORY. Amen!

RENEWED MIND

Romans 12:2(a) says:
And be not conformed to this world: but be all of you transformed by the RENEWING OF YOUR MIND…

1 Corinthians 2:16(b)
…But we have the mind of Christ.
+Remember the Mind of Christ that we have is the same as the Mind of God.
+We have this Mind through the Holy Spirit and the Word of God.
+God’s Mind is holy, righteous, powerful, beautiful and unlimited in knowledge, understanding and wisdom.
+Again we have this mind which is the mind of Christ.
+The Word of God is the Filter, and the Holy Spirit is the Monitor for all information before it enters our minds. Why?

Romans 12:2(b)
…that all of you may prove what is that Good, and Acceptable, and Perfect, will of God.
+Without the filter of (God’s Word) and the Monitor of the Holy Spirit our minds will become corrupted.
+This keeps our minds Spiritually and Supernaturally Healthy.

” Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, to the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.”[Jude 1: 24-25 KJV]

• Continue to let the WORD of God be the standard for your life. Always LOVING others like Christ Jesus loves us while keeping our Faith, Trust and Confidence in Him.
• BLESSED you are and BLESSED you will always be and to God be all the GLORY. Amen!

GIVE IT TO GOD

You can’t be what God created you to be,when you are worried and and stressed. Cast your care upon the Lord ,as He told us to.

++Let Go and Trust God++
• Have you ever had something to say to someone and wanted to say it the right way, at the right time, but you were also angry with the person?
• Here are some fundamental principles of scripture that will help you.

Let’s start with,  James 1:19-20 which says :
Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath, For the wrath of man works not the righteousness of God.
Then Ephesians 4:26 tells us to :
Be all of you angry, and sin not…

However, Proverbs 15:1-2 reminds us that :
A soft answer turns away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger. The tongue of the wise uses knowledge aright…

But, James 3:2 says :
…If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man…
Finally, Ecclesiastes 7:9 says :
Be not hasty in your spirit to be angry: for anger rests in the bosom of fools.

” Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,  to the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.”[ Jude 1: 24-25 KJV].

• Always be willing to let the anger go, trust God and communicate in love.
Blessed you are and blessed you will always be and to God be all the glory. Amen!

WHO DO YOU HAVE FAITH IN?

” So Jesus answered and said to them, “HAVE FAITH IN GOD. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.”( Mark 11:22-24 NKJV).

” But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”( Hebrews 11:6 NKJV).

+When we have Faith, Trust, and Confidence in God there are no second thoughts, and there are no Plan-B.

FAITH: is to do the Word of God out of belief and convection in the heart of the realities of the promises of God.
+Faith is Persistent, Consistent and Constant.

” What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him?  If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit?  Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble!

But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead? Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar?  Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect? And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” And he was called the friend of God. You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only.  Likewise, was not Rahab the harlot also justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out another way? For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.” ( James 2: 14-26 NKJV).

TRUST: to have 100% confidence and full assurance in God.

CONFIDENCE: fearless and boldness in God.

+Know this. Your Faith in God is unstoppable.
+Always have Faith in God.

” Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, To God our Savior, Who alone is wise, Be glory and majesty, Dominion and power, Both now and forever. Amen.”[ Jude 1: 24-25 NKJV].

● Continue to let the WORD of God be the standard for your life. Always LOVING others like Christ Jesus loves us while keeping our Faith, Trust and Confidence in Him.

● BLESSED you are and BLESSED you will always be and to God be all the GLORY. Amen!

ENCOURAGE EACH OTHER

” Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted. Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.  For if anyone thinks himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself. But let each one examine his own work, and then he will have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another. For each one shall bear his own load.  Let him who is taught the word share in all good things with him who teaches. Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.  And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.” ( Galatians 6:1-10 NKJV).

Thomas Fuller said, “They are rich who have true friends.” But the Bible says: ” A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: And there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.” ( Proverbs 18: 24 KJV).

A quote from Cavett Robert, “Three billion people on the face of the earth go to bed hungry every night, but four billion people go to bed every night hungry for a simple word of encouragement and recognition.“

We need each other to help carry the loads of sorrow, worry, and anxiety. When we help each other it makes our own burdens lighter.

Philippians 4:4-13 KJV says :
” Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice. Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.  Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at the last your care of me hath flourished again; wherein ye were also careful, but ye lacked opportunity. Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. “

Father God, Thank You for giving us friends that share our lives. We are together on earth and we will be together in Heaven. We choose You Lord as our Savior.

”  Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,  to the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.” [ Jude 1: 24-25 KJV].

GOD HAS A PLAN FOR YOU.

Jeremiah 29:11-13 AMPC says:
” For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome.  Then you will call upon Me, and you will come and pray to Me, and I will hear and heed you.  Then you will seek Me, inquire for, and require Me [as a vital necessity] and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. [Deut. 4:29-30.]

However,  Proverbs 3:3-8 AMPC says this:
” Let not mercy and kindness [shutting out all hatred and selfishness] and truth [shutting out all deliberate hypocrisy or falsehood] forsake you; bind them about your neck, write them upon the tablet of your heart. [Col. 3:9-12.] [4] So shall you find favor, good understanding, and high esteem in the sight [or judgment] of God and man. [Luke 2:52.] [5] Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. [6] In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths. [7] Be not wise in your own eyes; reverently fear and worship the Lord and turn [entirely] away from evil. [Prov. 8:13.] [8] It shall be health to your nerves and sinews, and marrow and moistening to your bones.”

Let’s seal this word with a Prayer 🙏
Heavenly Father, I’ll be honest with You… I can’t see what You’re doing right now. The circumstances in front of me don’t look like a plan. They look like a problem. My logic keeps trying to take over, trying to figure out what You’re doing and why You’re doing it this way.

I know You’re not asking me to understand. You’re asking me to trust. So today I choose to lean on Your character instead of my confusion. You are faithful. You are good. You are a Provider who has never once failed the people who trust in You. That is who You are, and that doesn’t change based on what I can see.

Make my paths straight, Lord, even when the road ahead is hidden from my view. Do the deep work in me that only waiting can produce. And when fear tries to convince me that You’ve forgotten me, bring me back to what I know is true about You.

I trust in You, my Savior. The One who never fails.IN JESUS’S MIGHTY NAME I PRAY. AMEN.

Jude 1:24-25 AMPC says:
” Now to Him Who is able to keep you without stumbling or slipping or falling, and to present [you] unblemished (blameless and faultless) before the presence of His glory in triumphant joy and exultation [with unspeakable, ecstatic delight]– To the one only God, our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory (splendor), majesty, might and dominion, and power and authority, before all time and now and forever (unto all the ages of eternity). Amen (so be it).”

THE POWER OF AGREEMENT.

It’s very important to agree with  God the Father, son,and the Holy Spirit.

” For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one.  And there are three that bear witness on earth: the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and these three agree as one.  If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater; for this is the witness of God which He has testified of His Son.  He who believes in the Son of God has the witness in himself; he who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed the testimony that God has given of His Son. And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.” ( 1 John 5:7-13 NKJV).

“Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.” (Matthew 18:19 -20 NKJV)

+The Word of God is the basis of our agreement.
+Agreement is the basis of power.
+And Power makes things happen in the Almighty Name of Christ Jesus our Lord.

” Can two walk together, except they be agreed (or in agreement)? (Amos 3:3 NKJV).

+Where there is agreement there is power.
+Disagreement, divisions and ignorance brings powerlessness.
+When we all agree with God it brings us also automatically in agreement with each other, and we all will experience God’s Victory, the Power, and the Presence of God together. Amen!
+Hallelujahs to Jesus!

” Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, To God our Savior, Who alone is wise, Be glory and majesty, Dominion and power, Both now and forever. Amen.”[ Jude 1: 24-25 NKJV]

Continue to let the WORD of God be the standard for your life. Always LOVING others like Christ Jesus loves us while keeping our Faith, Trust and Confidence in Him.
•BLESSED you are and BLESSED you will always be and to God be all the GLORY. Amen!

HE AROSE

” Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you,  who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.”( 1 Peter 1:3-5 NKJV).

” Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.  For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection,  knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin.  For he who has died has been freed from sin. Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him, knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over Him.

For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life that He lives, He lives to God. Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts.  And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.”(Romans 6:4-14 NKJV).

Let’s  Pray 🙏🏽 :
Our loving Heavenly Father,
On this glorious Resurrection Sunday, our hearts full of gratitude and reverence as we come before You. We celebrate the miraculous resurrection of Your Son, Jesus Christ, who conquered death and sin, bringing forth the promise of eternal life.

Lord, we reflect on the profound sacrifice that Jesus made for us on the cross. His willingness to bear our sins and suffer in our place shows the depth of Your love for humanity. Through His anguish, He offered us redemption and forgiveness, breaking the chains of bondage that held us captive.

As we observe this day, let us remember that Easter is not just a moment in time, but a powerful reminder of hope and renewal. Just as Christ rose from the grave, we too are called to rise above our trials and tribulations. We seek to embrace the new life offered through faith in Him, shedding our old selves and stepping boldly into the future You have planned for us.

May the resurrection inspire us to live in a way that reflects Your glory. Help us to embody Christ’s love, compassion, and grace, sharing the good news of His resurrection with the world. Let us be instruments of Your peace, ambassadors of hope, and seekers of justice.

This Easter, we ask for a renewed spirit within us. Fill our hearts with joy and our minds with understanding of the magnitude of this day. May the celebration of the empty tomb remind us that no matter how dark our circumstances may seem, Your light shines through, bringing healing and restoration.

We pray for those who are lost, those who are suffering, and those who feel abandoned. May they find solace in the knowledge that Christ died for them and that His resurrection offers redemption and new beginnings.

As we gather in worship and fellowship, let our praises rise like incense to You. May our lives be a testimony to the transformative power of the resurrection, encouraging all to seek Your presence and experience the fullness of life in You.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray.
Amen.

” Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, To God our Savior, Who alone is wise, Be glory and majesty, Dominion and power, Both now and forever. Amen.”[Jude 1:24-25 NKJV].

STUDY TO SHEW THYSELF APPROVED UNTO GOD.

Studying  God’s Word, will make you wise.

” Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.  But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness. And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenæus and Philetus;  who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some. Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.”(2 Timothy 2 :15-19 KJV).

” But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.  But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them, and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.  All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.”(2 Timothy 3:13-17 NKJV).

SOME PEOPLE CLAIM THAT THEY ARE CHRISTIANS FOR YEARS YET,THEY DON’T KNOW THE WORD, BUT THE BIBLE SAYS: “Concerning this we have much to say, and it is hard to explain, since you have become dull and sluggish in [your spiritual] hearing and disinclined to listen. For though by this time you ought to be teachers [because of the time you have had to learn these truths], you actually need someone to teach you again the elementary principles of God’s word [from the beginning], and you have come to be continually in need of milk, not solid food.  For everyone who lives on milk is [doctrinally inexperienced and] unskilled in the word of righteousness, since he is a spiritual infant.  But solid food is for the [spiritually] mature, whose senses are trained by practice to distinguish between what is morally good and what is evil.” ( Hebrews 5: 11-14 AMP ).

• Ignorance to God’s Word is a liability and disadvantageous.
• The Word of God is the manual to live the life of God. As food is to your physical body so is the Word of God to your life, spirit, soul and mind.
• Make God’s Word your daily study.

” Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,  to the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.” [Jude 1: 24-25 KJV].

+++Blessed you are and blessed you will always be and to God be all the glory. Amen!
