BOLD and COURAGEOUS FAITH THE OLD TO THE NEW TESTAMENT.
“Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego answered and said to the king, “O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter. If that is the case, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king. But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up.” Then Nebuchadnezzar was full of fury, and the expression on his face changed toward Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego. He spoke and commanded that they heat the furnace seven times more than it was usually heated. And he commanded certain mighty men of valor who were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, and cast them into the burning fiery furnace. Then these men were bound in their coats, their trousers, their turbans, and their other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. Therefore, because the king’s command was urgent, and the furnace exceedingly hot, the flame of the fire killed those men who took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego. And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. Then King Nebuchadnezzar was astonished; and he rose in haste and spoke, saying to his counselors, “Did we not cast three men bound into the midst of the fire?” They answered and said to the king, “True, O king.” “Look!” he answered, “I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.” Then Nebuchadnezzar went near the mouth of the burning fiery furnace and spoke, saying, “Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, servants of the Most High God, come out, and come here.” Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego came from the midst of the fire. And the satraps, administrators, governors, and the king’s counselors gathered together, and they saw these men on whose bodies the fire had no power; the hair of their head was not singed nor were their garments affected, and the smell of fire was not on them. Nebuchadnezzar spoke, saying, “Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, who sent His Angel and delivered His servants who trusted in Him, and they have frustrated the king’s word, and yielded their bodies, that they should not serve nor worship any god except their own God! ” (Daniel 3:16-28 NKJV).
Matthew 9:20-22 is an example of bold faith:
20 And, behold, a woman, who was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind Him (Jesus), and touched the hem of His garment:
21 FOR SHE SAID WITHIN HERSELF, IF I MAY BUT TOUCH HIS GARMENT, I SHALL BE WHOLE.
22 But Jesus turned about, and when He saw her, He said, Daughter, be of good comfort; YOUR FAITH has made you whole. AND THE WOMAN WAS MADE WHOLE FROM THAT HOUR.
+In reference to verse 21, please read Mark 11:22-23 and Proverb 18:21)
1. Find the promise in the Word that you have in the Lord Jesus Christ.
2. Say within or to yourself in FAITH if I could receive this promise.
3. By faith, reach out and touch the Lord (the promises in His Word) and receive your promise by Faith in The Name of Jesus! Hallelujah!!!
Another example is Mark 10:46, 47, 51, & 52.
46 …blind Bartimaeus, …sat by the roadside…
47 …he began to cry out and say, JESUS, Son of David, have mercy on me.
51 And Jesus answered and said unto him, What do you want for me to do for you? The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight.
52 And Jesus said unto him, Go your way; YOUR FAITH HAS MADE YOU WHOLE AND IMMEDIATELY HE RECEIVED HIS SIGHT, and followed Jesus…
“And a certain centurion’s servant, who was dear to him, was sick and ready to die. So when he heard about Jesus, he sent elders of the Jews to Him, pleading with Him to come and heal his servant. And when they came to Jesus, they begged Him earnestly, saying that the one for whom He should do this was deserving, “for he loves our nation, and has built us a synagogue.” Then Jesus went with them. And when He was already not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to Him, saying to Him, “Lord, do not trouble Yourself, for I am not worthy that You should enter under my roof. Therefore, I did not even think myself worthy to come to You. But say the word, and my servant will be healed. For I also am a man placed under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.” When Jesus heard these things, He marveled at him, and turned around and said to the crowd that followed Him, “I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel!” And those who were sent, returning to the house, found the servant well who had been sick.” (Luke 7:2-10 NKJV).
IT’S SIMPLY AS THIS. Anything that God wants you to have, there’s no devil in hell and no person on earth that can keep you from having it, if you just won’t quit and give up.
- Jesus is still asking us today “What can I do for you?”
- CRY OUT to the Lord in FAITH and say have MERCY on me.
- I BELIEVE without a doubt, that in like fashion as blind Bartimaeus, your FAITH in Jesus can make your blind eyes see and your sick body healed, delivered, made whole and set free in His Almighty Name!!! Hallelujah!!!
- Speak to the Lord and declare your Faith in Him and your need shall be met.
•Continue to let the WORD of God be the standard for our lives. Always LOVING others like Christ Jesus loves us while keeping our Faith, Trust and Confidence in Him.
•BLESSED we are and BLESSED we will always be and to God be all the GLORY. Amen!!!
- Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, To God our Savior, Who alone is wise, Be glory and majesty, Dominion and power, Both now and forever. Amen.
- Jude 1:24-25 NKJV
