FIND THE DOOR & OPEN IT

This world is like a dark room filled with serpents, which is the deadliest enemy known to man, because it’s subtle, silent and deadly. Serpents are very deceptive and they will get you in a comfortable position where you let your guard down then it strikes. Most people don’t realize that they are living and hanging out with serpents and scorpions until the lights come in and reveals or expose who or what they really are, and the only way of escape is through the only door that’s available. There is only one person who knows the way out and has defeated the enemy; this person is Jesus Christ. Serpents come in various shapes and sizes, they are disguised as real people, when they are really thieves whose intent is to destroy you. So find the door, get out of the darkness, and into the light away from the serpents of this world.

Jesus says in John 10:9-10, “I am the door, by me if anyone enters in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out and find pasture; The thief cometh not but to steal, and to kill, and to destroy, I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”  Jesus is also your only way out of the serpents nest, which leads to destruction. In John 14:6 He says, “I am the way, the truth and the life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” You have a choice or decision to make. Jesus is waiting for you, if you are ready to get out of your trap or imprisonment with the serpents; He said, “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock; if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to Him, and sup with him, and he with me.” – Revelation 3:20

“I know thy works; behold, I have set before you an open door, and no man can shut it; for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.” – Revelation 3:8 God knows everything about you, and He is ready to pull you out of the serpents snare. Are you ready to get out and exercise your right to tread upon serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy that Jesus gives us the right to do in Luke 10:19? If yes, then go to the top of this blog, then click onto the salvation page and follow the instructions. Be liberated!

THE BACK-SLIDER

A back-slider is someone who knows about God yet refuses to live for Him and be obedient to His word. There are many kinds or types of back-sliders; one kind claims to know God yet refuses to commit to Him, another loves the things of the world more than the things of God, another is luke-warm one foot in and the other out, and the one outside has a sign that reads, “slippery when wet,” so they slip out of the will of God without even realizing it. Most people who grew up in church, hate to be considered as or to be called a back-slider. However, there is set of  back-sliders that go to church every sunday, and are undercover agents for the enemy, they sing in choirs, usher and even teach sunday school, but God does not call them back-sliders, He calls them hypocrites. Why? Because back-sliders are weak, and defeated people who would rather sell their soul to the devil to live easy than to fight like a good soldier, in the army of the Lord. They are deserters, who after destroying the enemy and  his devises, have decided to reconstruct the things they abandoned, instead of demolishing them, and they become a transgressor instead of an overcomer (Galatians 2:18).

“For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in it, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than after they have known it, to turn from the Holy commandment delivered unto them; But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed, to her wallowing in the mire” – 2 Peter 2:20-22

“Turn, O backsliding children saith the Lord; for I am married unto you; and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion; and I will give you shepherds according to my heart, who shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.” – Jeremiah 3:14-15. That’s why in Hebrews 2:3, God says, “How shall you escape, if you neglect so great salvation…? What is your excuse? Do you really believe that God is going to wait forever for you to decide while you are out flirting with the devil? Then you have a big surprise coming.

“No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the Kingdom God.” – Luke 9:62  What is it that the devil has that is sweeter than what God has to offer? The answer is nothing, because, God owns the world and everything in it Psalm 24:1  reminds us of this fact. Don’t allow the devil to deceive you into believing that what he gives you is yours or his, God owns it all. The devil has used stolen goods to dazzle your eyes and blind you from the truth. Why would you give up eternal life for eternal damnation, where you burn continuously. This is not a joke, bluff or gimmick, it will not be  fun, nor is it funny; and with all the signs and wonders people are going on as if they are immortal. You better wake up and see whats happening, you will not be smelling the flowers of heaven, only the smell of burning flesh. You have two choices: remain how you are and go to hell, or go to the top of this blog, click on to the salvation page, follow the instructions, and follow Jesus to the place He has gone to prepare for us in eternity.

REACH

Reach out and touch someone, encourage someone, pray for someone, help someone today, so that we can make this world a better place. Sometimes just a smile or a kind word is worth more than money. People have gotten so selfish these days nobody wants to help anyone in any form or fashion. However, everyone reaches that place in their life where money can’t buy happiness nor contentment, so you have to make that critical decision as to who or what can make you happy and content; who can give you that peace that surpasses all understanding, that when everything is going buck wild, you are just calm. There is only one person I know that gives you that kind of peace in the middle of a crisis, and that person is God.

Everyone reaches that point in their life, where you have to make that crucial decision to serve God with all your heart, soul, and might; Because you have never met anyone who could love you any sweeter or better, after you have messed up so many times. This should propel  you to want to share with people the joys, thrills, and agonies of having someone there with you and for you at all times. Once people see the joy and peace that you display as a child of God they will want to know what makes you so joyful and peaceful.  1 Peter 3:15 tells us to sanctify the Lord God in our hearts and be ready always to give an answer to every man who asked you a reason of the hope that is in you. Jesus never chased anyone down and tried to force Himself on anyone or force them to accept His Father because they had a choice.

In Matthew 28:18-20, He tells us to go out and teach all nations, and baptize them in the Name of the trinity (Father, Son, Holy Spirit), and teach  them to observe all  things that He commands us, and the assurance that He will be with us. This simply means  that  if you are not ashamed of the gospel of Christ which is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes as Romans 1:16 tells us, then the Gospel of Christ is not a secret to keep to ourselves, and it will be the only gossip you spread that will not hurt someone but save them. The thing is we are living in the last days and Acts 1:7-8 tells us, that it’s none of our business or concern the time or seasons which God has put in His own authority, because when we receive the Holy Spirit, we will receive power, to be His witness, and our fear will diminish, since we can now tread on serpents, scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing can hurt us as Luke 10:19 reminds us.

When we accept Christ we are new creatures who obey God and live for God, so we do as Romans 12:1-2 and 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, and present our bodies as a living sacrifice that is Holy and acceptable unto God, because we no longer own ourself we now belong to God, who bought us with a price. Therefore, it’s no longer a secret what God can do, so it’s our duty to let the world know that when we call on the name of the Lord He will save you. However, Romans 10:13-15 says, How will people call on Him, know or believe Him if they don’t know Him,  that’s why our lives must show it, and we have to teach and preach the Gospel of Christ.

However, to teach and preach we must do as 2 Timothy 2:15 tells us, to study to show ourselves approved unto God, so that we are good soldiers in the army of the Lord unashamed and rightly dividing the word of truth. Since we are working for Him we have to hide His word in our hearts to keep us from sinning against Him this is seen in Psalms 119:11. Even though the lesson tries to show us that millions of people don’t know Jesus Christ, I believe the number is less, because with todays advanced technology, more people are reached on a daily basis, it’s just that the enemy has increase their appetite for sin, and has covered their faces with veils so that they don’t hear, see or care.

God has never forced His will or choice on us, and there is no excuse that they have not heard the word or seen His wonderful creation. Why are we limiting God as if He is not powerful enough to reach who He wants to reach and save who He wants to. Isaiah 59:1-2 tells us that the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save, neither His ear heavy, that it cannot hear… Which means they will get the word one way or another. The God I serve is limitless and all-powerful, full of mercy, and grace. Anyone who dies not knowing God is not from lack of Him trying, because He will send you to someone or someone to you. So when He sends someone to me or me to them I am ready to do His will, but I will not force them, because God nor Jesus never forced anyone to do anything.

If you have never experienced that peace and tranquility that only God  can give through His only begotten Son Jesus Christ, I would strongly recommend that you try Him. Don’t knock Him until you try Him, trust Him, depend on Him, and build all your hopes on Him, He has never failed me yet, and if anyone says He has failed them it’s because they didn’t stick to the plans He laid out for them. How many people has tried Him then followed their own selfish desires, failed and  then blamed God. When you get to know God and obey His word then you will know without a shadow of a doubt that He never fails or disappoint anyone, He does what He promises to do as long as you do what you promise Him to do.

SEEKING PERFECTION

Wouldn’t you just love for everything and everyone to be perfect as you like? Does it mean that you are selfish? Or are you, just like your Heavenly Father who gives us the best and requires the best from us. So, why should we settle for less when James 1:17 tells us that, “Every good and perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.” Therefore, we see that God’s gifts are good and perfect. If I don’t settle for less, and if I am unsatisfied with imperfection, it does not make me bad; It’s just because I am made in the Image and likeness of my Heavenly Father therefore I adopt His charactereristics and seek the best.

In seeking perfection, it means we have to try to be perfect in everything we do or say. For example, instead of doing bad we do good, instead of hate we love, instead of  war we seek peace, and the list goes on. However, to be perfect, we must emulate the only perfect example that was given to us by God and that was His only begotten Son Jesus Christ. God wants us to be perfect, that’s why Ephesians 4:11-13 reads, “And he gave some, apostles; and some prophets; and some evangelist; and some pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ; Till we come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ.”

Perfection is a goal we seek to achieve or reach before Jesus returns to redeem us or we die. How do we acquire perfection or strive towards it?  It requires Holiness and righteousness, which are two of the main ingredients to accomplish this task, along with complete faith and trust in God, through His Son Jesus Christ. There are three stages of perfection, the first is positional perfection, which every believer who accepts Jesus Christ has, as we see in Hebrews 10:14-19, “For by a single offering He has forever completely cleansed and perfected those who are consecrated and made Holy; And also the Holy Spirit adds His testimony to us (in confirmation of this)…For having said, this is the agreement (testament, covenant) that I will set up and conclude with them after those days, says the Lord: I will imprint My laws upon their hearts, and I will inscribe them on their minds (on their inmost thoughts and understanding), He then goes on to say, And their sins and their lawbreaking I will remember no more. Now where there is absolute remission (forgiveness and cancellation of the penalty) of these (sins and lawbreaking), there is no longer any offering made to atone for sin. Therefore, brethren, since we have full freedom and confidence to enter into the (Holy of) Holies (by the power and virtue) in the blood of Jesus.”

Then we have Relative perfection, which is based on spiritual maturity, where as Paul says in Philippians 3:13- 14, “Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehend; but one thing I do, forgetting  those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead; I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”

As a mature Christian, we should do the will of God (most of them are laid out in the ten commandments), and display Godly traits like  love, purity, holiness, patience, and everything that is Godly. Then we have the Ultimate perfection which is the perfection of Spirit, soul, and body which is knowing Christ to the extent that you know Him (Jesus) and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death, if by any means, I may attain to the resurrection from the dead. Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also lay hold of me, as Paul said in Philippians 3:10-12. For the child of God, the moral perfection of God is the absolute standard of conduct to aim for, hard as it is to attain, but this is something worth dying to accomplish.

Yes, we all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, but we are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forberance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed, to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just, and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus (Romans 3:23-26). The question is, am I perfect? No, but I am striving to be. How about you? Have you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? If not go to the top of this blog, click on to the salvation page, and follow the instructions.

SPIRITUAL EMPOWERING

“God’s purpose was to show His wisdom in all its rich variety to all the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms. They will see this when Jews and Gentiles are joined together in His church; This was His plan from all eternity and it has now been carried out through Christ Jesus our Lord. Because of Christ and our faith in Him, we can now come fearlessly into God’s presence, assured of His glad welcome…

“When I think of the wisdom and scope of God’s plan, I fall to my knee and pray to the Father, the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth. I pray that from His glorious, unlimited resources He will give you mighty inner strength through His Holy Spirit. And I pray that Christ will be more and more at home in your hearts as you trust in Him. May your roots go down deep into the soil of God’s marvelous love, and may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep His love really is.

May you experience the love of Christ, though it is so great you will never fully understand it. Then you will be filled with the fullness of life and power that comes from God. Now glory be to God! By His mighty power at work within us, He is able to accomplish infinitely more than we would ever dare to ask or hope. May He be given glory in the church, and in Christ Jesus forever and ever through endless ages. Amen.” EPHESIANS 3:10-21
