BELIEVERS PRAYERS FOR 2014.

I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto us the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him; and that the eyes of our understanding will be enlightened, that we will know what is the hope of His calling, and what the riches of the glory of His inheritance is in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of His mighty power. And that we may be filled with the knowledge of His will, in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, that we may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God, strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and long-suffering with joy, this is our prayer, and supplication, with Thanksgiving in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth according to Ephesians 1:17-19,and Colossians 1:9-11. Amen.

After this prayer let’s do as Romans 12:1-2 says, “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

Have a blessed,prosperous,and Spirit filled New Year everyone. Just remember what Jude 24 says,” Now unto Him,that is able to keep you from falling,and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy,to the only wise God,Our Savior,be glory and majesty,dominion and power,both now and ever,Amen. They who begin the year with God,and live for God,will have long life.

BE A PART OF THE CHANGE

We have change of government, change of location, change of status, change of height, and stature, even change of weather. However, the changes we go through don’t matter because we have a God that never changes, and He never leaves us nor forsakes us. No matter what happens, no matter the changes we go through the fact still remains that thousands of years ago the biggest change in the world was when God proved His love for us, by sending His only begotten Son Jesus, and Jesus proved His love for us by taking our sins and dieing so that we can be free from the curse of sin and death.

Now the question is, with all these changes have you changed your status from death to life, sinner to redeemed, bastard to adopted, lost to found? Have you changed your citizenship from this earth to heaven? Are you willing to change or remain the same? The only one who has not changed is Jesus, and He doesn’t need to because He is good, Holy, righteous, and perfect, and Hebrews 13:8 says,”He is the same yesterday,today,and forever,” and no one can put a claim to that but Him.

However,He is the one we need to follow, and change to be like Him,so that God will be pleased with us, like how, He was with Jesus, when He walked on earth,are you interested and ready for this change? Then click on to the salvation page,at the top of this blog,and get started.

WARNING TO ALL LIARS

These six things doth the Lord hate; yea,seven are an abomination unto Him :  A proud look, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood,a heart that deviseth wicked imaginations,feet that are swift in running to mischief,a false witness that speaketh lies,and he that soweth discord among brethren”(Poverbs 6:16-19). Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord,but they that deal truly are His delight (Proverbs 12:22). The wicked in his pride doth persecute the poor,let them be taken in the devices that they have imagined. For the wicked boasteth of his heart’s desire,and blesseth the covetous ,whom the Lord abhorreth. The wicked,through the pride of his countenance,will not seek after God. God is not in all his thoughts” Psalms 10: 2-4.  A false witness shall not be unpunished,and he that speaketh lies shall perish (Proverbs 19:9).   “Your tongue devises destruction,like a sharp razor,working deceitfully,you love evil more than good,lying rather than speaking righteousness, you love all devouring words,you deceitful tongue,God shall likewise destroy you forever,He shall take you away,and pluck you out of your dwelling place,and uproot you from the land of the living”[Psalm 52:2-5].

However, John 1:9&10 says, “If we confess our sins,He is faithful and just to forgive us,and cleanse us from all unrighteousness”. If we say that we have not sinned,we make Him a liar,and the truth is not in us. Lamentations 3:40 says,”Let us search and try our ways,and turn again to the Lord.”

Then finally Hebrews 3:7-8 says,”Wherefore,as the Holy Spirit saith,Today if ye will hear His voice. Harden not your hearts,as in provocation,in the day of temptation in the wilderness.” How shall we escape,if we neglect so great salvation… Hebrew2:3. “Deliver my soul,O Lord,from lying lips,and from a deceitful tongue.. My soul hath long dwell with him that hateth peace. I am for peace,but when I speak,they are for war”(Psalm 120:2,6,&7).

THE ONLY CELEBRITY THAT CAN’T DIE.

The only celebrity that withstand the test of times,and no matter how they try to replace Him. He is still Wonderful,Counselor,The Mighty God,The Everlasting Father,The Prince of peace,The King of kings,The Lord of lords, Emanuel with us,Born of a Virgin,was wrapped in swaddling clothes,born in a manger,The Mighty deliverer,hope of creation, our chain breaker,our defender,our redeemer,Lord of creation,our healer ,and the only hope of Salvation,and His Name is Jesus,the Name above,every other Name.”Wherefore,God also hath highly exalted Him,and given Him a Name which is above every name, that at the Name of Jesus every knee should bow,of things in heaven,and things in earth,and things under the earth,and every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,to the glory of God,the Father”[Philippians 2:9-11]. Santa Claus or no one can ever or will ever replace Jesus,no matter how hard they try. And if you don’t know Him ,then you better get to know Him before it’s too late. Jesus is the only unspeakable gift christmas has to offer,nothing can replace Him. As Psalms 8:1 says,”O Lord,our Lord,how excellent is thy name in all the earth,who hast set thy glory above the heavens !”

ALLOWING GOD TO CHOOSE YOUR MATE.

Would there be any divorces ,fights or arguments,if we allow God to choose our mate ? Would any couple be unsuitable,or unsatisfied ? He chose for Adam and Eve,and despite the dilemma they found themselves in they stuck together,because they were a suitable match from God. Adam saw her and said, poetically ,and romantically”This is now bone of my bones,and flesh of my flesh..”(Genesis2:23). He was loving every inch of that magnificent creature God designed,created,and chosen just for him. God didn’t make any mistakes when He created Eve. In Genesis 2:18″ And the Lord God said,it is not good that the man should be alone,I will make him an help fit for him”. This simply means God has created a man and a woman that’s perfectly fit for each other. The question is are we willing to trust God,wait on God,and let God choose that person for us? God is still in the match making business,and He has no intentions of retiring. And He is 100% accurate and certain who is your perfect mate or match. King Lemuel in Proverbs 31:10 ask,”who can find a virtuous woman ? For her price is far above rubies”. This sounds like someone who doesn’t trust God, but in Proverbs 31:30,he said,” Favor is deceitful,and beauty is vain,but a woman who feareth the Lord,she shall be praised”. However,if you are a woman looking for a good man Psalms 37:23says,”The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord,and he delighteh in his way”. So who should you go to when you are in search for the perfect mate ? Go to God ,He created us all,and He definitely doesn’t look at outward appearance,He looks at the heart  as 1 Samuel 16:7 tells us. Remember that God warns us that the heart is deceitful and desperately wicked ;who can know it? I the Lord, search the heart ,I test the conscience ,even to give every man according to his ways ,and according to the fruit of his doings (Jeremiah 17:9-10). There are many devices in a man’s heart ,nevertheless ,the counsel of the Lord,that shall stand,according to Proverbs 19:21. Therefore,why wouldn’t you want God to make the decision and choose for you,it will save you a trip to divorce court,heartaches,and pains,trials,and tribulations,instead do as Romans12:1-2 says,and present your body as a living sacrifice,that is Holy and acceptable unto God ,which is your reasonable service,and you can’t be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind,so that you can prove what is that good ,acceptable,and perfect ,will of God. Or that good and perfect man from God,so keep yourself pure,and let God choose. In Luke 1:28-30,Mary found favor with God,because she was pure,holy,righteous,faithful,and devoted to God. Wouldn’t you like be in Mary’s shoes ;where God rewards you,with the favor of a good mate,because of your faithfulness in His sight.

CHOICES

The choices we make in life will at some point come back to bite and try to destroy us. It is a fact that if you lay with dogs, you will rise with flees. Which means if you lay down with the devil you will get burned, or what you sow you will reap, better yet, they who sin with you, will sin against you. “Be not deceived, God is not mocked, for whatever a man soweth, that shall he also reap, for he that soweth to his flesh, shall of the flesh reap corruption, but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting” (Galatians 6:7-8).

The good news is once you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, Romans 8:1 says, “There is, therefore, now no condemnation to them who are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.” Therefore, the choices and decisions you make will be Godly oriented and orchestrated, based on Proverbs 3:5-6 which says, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your path.”

Are you making the right choices in life that will impact your future instead of ruining it? Where is your final destination? Heaven or hell. Did you make that decision or choice yet? Tomorrow is promised to no one, but heaven and hell is. Deuteronomy 30:19 says, “I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore, choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live.”

What is your choice today? The job, the house, the car, the spouse, your education, all that is not as important as the choice to live in eternity or be tormented in a lake of fire and brimstone. ARE YOU READY ?

Wouldn’t it be nice if while everyone is preparing for christmas, Jesus showed up instead. Are you prepared or ready to meet Him ? Would you be happy or sad ? Would you be one of those going or staying ? How is your relationship with God right now ? Is He speaking to you in Revelation 3:15-17 when He said,”I know thy works,that thou art neither cold nor hot; I would that thou wert cold or hot. So,then,because thou art lukewarm and neither cold nor hot,I will spew thee out of my mouth. Because thou sayest,I am rich ,and increased with goods,and  have need of nothing ,and knowest not that thou art wretched ,and miserable,and poor,and blind,and naked “. Where do you fit into the kingdom of God ?  “Not everyone that saith unto me ,Lord,Lord,shall enter into the kingdom of heaven ,but he that doeth the will of My Father,who is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day ,Lord,Lord,have we not prophesied in thy name? And in thy name have cast out demons ? And in thy name done many wonderful works ? And then will I profess unto them ,I never knew you,depart from me ,ye that work iniquity”. What will Jesus say to you if He should return this christmas ? It’s His birthday, we are celebrating,no matter what you want to call it. Do yourself a favor before it’s too late,get acquainted with God,through His only begotten Son ,JESUS.

WHAT’S THE OBJECT OF YOUR DESIRE.

The desire to be rich,and famous or to move up in society has prompt or motivate people to make the wrong decisions,sleep with the wrong folks,or hook up with the wrong crowd. Don’t allow your desires to dictate the choices that you make in life. What is at the top of your priority list ? Is it self,money,family,among other things. My question to you is where does God fit in your list of priorities or desires ? Is He even on the list? If He is not,then you have purchase a one way ticket to hell,but if He is at the top of your list,and the head of your life ,then He will bring all your desires to pass, yes,it’s true,because ,He does not lie as Numbers 23:19 & Titus 1:2 tells us. Therefore,whatever His word says,is true,all it takes is obedience. So for your  desires to be fulfilled ,you must do as He says. Let’s look at His requirement for your hearts desires to be manifested: Psalm 37:4-5 “Delight thyself also in the Lord and He shall give thee the desires of thine heart, commit thy way unto the Lord,trust also in Him ,and He shall bring it to pass”. 1John 3:22 “And whatever we ask,we receive of Him,because we keep His commandments,and do those things that are pleasing in His sight”. Psalm 84:11 “For the Lord is a sun and shield,the Lord will give grace and glory; no good thing will He with-hold from those who walk uprightly”. Proverbs 8:20-21″I lead in the way of righteous,in the midst of the paths of judgment ,that I may cause those that love me to inherit substance,and I will fill their treasures. 3John 2 “Beloved,I wish above all things,that thou mayest prosper and be in health,even as thy soul prospereth”. Like 12:30-31 says,”Don’t be like the world and seek things,your Father knows that you need those things, But rather seek ye the kingdom of God,and all these things shall be added unto you”. Matthew 6:33 “But seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness,and all these things shall be added unto you”. Deuteronomy 8:18 “But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God;for it is He who giveth thee power to get wealth,that He may establish His covenant whicj He swore unto thy fathers,as it is this day”. Galatians 3:20, “And if ye be Christ’s,then are ye Abraham’s seed,and heirs according to the promise”.  Have you accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savoir so that you will be heir’s of God’s promises? CONTENTMENT

This is the time of year people just get out of control,and most folks are broke,busted and disgusted,because they can never be content,they have to keep up with the Joneses,they have to out do everyone,impress everyone,and go to all un-necessary extremes to accomplish their desires,then end up in debt and wonder why.

But godliness with contentment is great gain,for we brought nothing into this world,and it is certain we carry nothing out. And having food and raiment let us be therewith content. But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare,and into many foolish and hurtful lusts,which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is the root of all evil,which,while some coveted after,they have erred from the faith,and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. But thou ,O man of God,flee these things,and follow after,righteousness, Godliness ,faith,love,patience, and meekness. Fight the good fight of faith,lay hold on eternal life [1 Timothy 6:6-12].

So my advice is instead of keeping up with the Jones’, keep up with God in righteousness,instead of impressing people,impress God,and you will see the difference in your life as it changes for the better. Stop living for the devil,and start living for God.
