STOP IT,NOW

STOP! Don’t dial 1-800-feel bad,or start a pity party, start rejoicing.Rejoicing is a good antidote for stress, depression, cares, and the worries of this world, put some music on,then start  singing ,and dancing, it is safe and effective. Now ,it all depends on the kind of music you listen to,you see I am a gospel,or christian music person,I realize that when I glorify God,the praises go up ,and the blessing come down.Listen, to me folks you can’t listen to music ,that will make you feel worse, why would you want to listen to music ,that will let you think about the person who broke your heart or put you in a state of funk, and depression. That’s why you have to listen to some spiritual music, to uplift your soul, that is totally unrelated to your hurt, pain, and ache.

When ,I think of the love God has for me,and the goodness of Jesus Christ, who died for me,that automatically replaces, everyone and everything that hurt me.That’s when I start to rejoice ,sing, dance ,and shout for joy.Sometimes, you have to encourage yourself in the Lord, that’s what King David did( 1 Samuel 30:6),when there is no one around,or you have people who just have nothing good to say,and just make you feel worse, then you have to step up to the plate ,and encourage yourself in the Lord.

A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance, but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken (Proverbs 15:13);Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivered him out of them all ( Psalms 34:19);Blessed are the people who know the joyful sound;they shall walk, O Lord,in the light of thy countenance. In thy name shall they rejoice all the day,and in thy righteousness shall they be exalted ( Psalms 89:15-16).

The apostle paul tells us to,”Rejoice in the Lord always:and again I say, rejoice!”.. then he said,”Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer, and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known unto God;and the peace of God,which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts, and minds through Christ Jesus,….hold up don’t go anywhere it gets better,he said, Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, and of good report;if there be any virtue,or praise think on those things” (Philippians 4:4-8),now don’t you feel you feel a whole lot better, instead of calling 1-800-feel-bad, having a pity party,or crying a river to swim away, don’t allow the devil to laugh,do a reality check, you are a child of the most High God,Jesus gave us the victory, and the authority to tread on serpents, scorpions, and all the power of the enemy;and nothing shall by any means hurt you (luke 10:19-20) it’s  time to rejoice that our names are written in Heaven.Let the heart of them rejoice who seek the Lord( 1 Chronicle 16:10).

If you can’t rejoice ,or don’t know how to ? When everything is going right or wrong, let me introduce you to the God,and His only begotten son ,who can,go to the top of this blog, click on to the salvation page, then follow the instructions,in will be the best thing you ever did. ENCOURAGEMENT

No, it’s not luck, when God blesses us, or do something fantastic in our lives, people like to say that, we were lucky. I was told that on many occasions; but, I had to inform them, that as Christians, we are transformed from our old evil ways, renewed, and equipped with a heavenly treasure, in an earthly vessel that displays the excellency of Gods power, that has nothing to do with us  ( 2 Corinthians 4:7).

Yes, the ungodly call it luck. But, we the Christians call it unlimited grace, mercies, favor, and goodness that we receive daily(Psalms 23:6). Children of God, the things that bother and trouble the ungodly, should never phase, worry, or disturb us. Why? Because we are children of the most High God ( Romans 8:16, 1 John 3:1); We are more than conquerors through Him that love us, and nothing can separate us from the love of God (Romans 8:37-39); Our God shall supply all our needs, according to His riches in glory through Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19); Every good and perfect gift comes from God, and He never denies us anything (James 1:17) especially when we are righteous.

So when we are hard-pressed, and troubled on every side – we don’t get distressed, or crushed.

When we are perplexed – we are not in despair, we don’t quit, or give up, but our patience is activated.

When we are persecuted – we know, we are not forsaken, nor abandoned.

When we are cast, knocked, or struck down – we are not destroyed, we get up and go.

When we throw in the towel, God throws it back at us, and let us know that, His grace is sufficient, and His strength is made perfect in our weakness( 2 Corinthians 12:9).

You must realize, that all these things occur, so that we can magnify, manifest, and demonstrate, the legacy of Jesus Christ, all that He did for us, plus the victory, authority, and power he gave us to tread upon serpents, scorpions and all the power of the enemy, where nothing can hurt or harm us ( 2 Corinthians 4:8-10, Luke 10:19).

So beloved, as Christians we must know that things happen, so that Gods grace and mercy is seen, and will cause many people to give God the glory, praise, and thanks He deserves, you must realize that sometimes we are the Bible that unbelievers read. We are on display everyday. So let us continue to walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise children of God redeeming the time in these evil days (Ephesians 5:15). Even in uncomfortable, sometimes unbearable situations, we should put our complete trust, and confidence in the most High God, who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worked in us (Ephesians 3:20).

Listen to me, when you have a strong relationship with God you can move mountains, or He will take you over the mountain, or He will take you through the mountain, it all depends on what will give Him more glory. If you never have an encounter,or don’t know God or His only begotten son Jesus Christ (John 3:16-17), go to the top of this blog, click on to the salvation page, and just follow the instructions, it will be the best thing you ever do.

I give God our Heavenly Father, the glory, praise, honor, and thanks for using me to bring this message to you, I pray it blessed you as it did me, and you will abide in His will and way in Jesus Name, amen.

TEMPTATIONS

Temptation is the hardest thing to overcome.

A bag full of $100 bills, was left by a guard on the sidewalk, and the armored car pulled off. What would you do? All your bills are overdue? The car broke down, you are hungry, about to be evicted, again what would you do? I already know, that the person who is not a Christian would take it and split, but if you are a Christian what would you do?  Would it be wrong to keep it? Would you think it’s an act of God to supply your needs? Would you pay or give 10% of it as tithe and offering?

Well to be honest with you, keeping it would be a sin. Honesty is always the best policy. You did not receive it as a gift, and you did not work for it, so that would be considered stealing. The three main temptations of sin has just presented itself to us:

The lust of the eyes, lust of the flesh, and the pride of life (Luke 4:5-12). We always ask God, not to lead us into temptations (Matthew 6:13), so we shouldn’t have a problem turning the money in. It’s when we yield to the temptation that it becomes a sin, and a curse.

The Bible teaches us, “not to love the world, neither the things that are in the world” (1 John 2 : 15-17). Sorry, but I have to break it down for you. “The love of money is the root of all evil…” (1 Timothy 6:10).  “…you can’t serve God, and money.” (Matthew 6:24).

The Bible, clearly states, “seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness, and everything will be added unto you.” (Matthew 6:33); This one is the true answer, “But my God shall supply all my needs according to His riches in glory, by Christ Jesus,” (Philippians 4:19) not your glory, or man’s glory, but His (God’s).

Yes, I know it’s a tough one. But that money would bring more misery than prosperity. Take a look at James 5:1-3, Proverbs 10:2, Proverbs 15:16 and Matthew 6:19-21. Now how do you feel after reading those scriptures? God is always faithful to deliver the Christian out of any temptation (1 Corinthians 10:13). That’s how good God is.
