GOOD,BETTER,BEST

I always love the saying, good, better, best. However, the only time we choose to use it, is when we lost something or someone. It is an effective quotation to hide our hurt, pain, and devastation. But if we look at it from a different perspective, there is a lot of truth behind the quote. I have been in situations where, I have lost a job I thought was good, then got a better one, lost that to get the best, with more money.

That’s why I stand on God’s word, and His promises, because, that’s when I realize that the quotation is true, it says:’And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose'(Romans 8:28). It’s always in losses, that God opens our eyes to see the blessings, He has in store for us, its then we see His grace, and mercies manifested, it’s then we should lose focus of the things, and people of this world, and focus on the only one who can see us through, and bring us out of the storms of life. Yes friends let me tell you, like it is: ‘we are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed   ( 2 Corinthians 4:8-9).

I  love Gladys Knight song but I have to re-write it to suit me, ‘If anyone should ever write my life story, for whatever reason, please tell them Jesus is the best thing that ever happen to me’. The world can’t top what Jesus did on Calvary, no man or woman, no job, no degree, nothing can beat out Gods best for us.

Let me reveal a little secret to you, when we are afflicted, talked about, and mistreated, it is for our consolation and salvation.

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God   ( 2 Corinthians 1:3-7). ‘Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord…beware of dogs, people who do evil, and the mutilations of the flesh, for we are the circumcision, who worship God in the spirit, so lets rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh'(Philippians 3:1-3). ENCOURAGEMENT

No, it’s not luck, when God blesses us, or do something fantastic in our lives, people like to say that, we were lucky. I was told that on many occasions; but, I had to inform them, that as Christians, we are transformed from our old evil ways, renewed, and equipped with a heavenly treasure, in an earthly vessel that displays the excellency of Gods power, that has nothing to do with us  ( 2 Corinthians 4:7).

Yes, the ungodly call it luck. But, we the Christians call it unlimited grace, mercies, favor, and goodness that we receive daily(Psalms 23:6). Children of God, the things that bother and trouble the ungodly, should never phase, worry, or disturb us. Why? Because we are children of the most High God ( Romans 8:16, 1 John 3:1); We are more than conquerors through Him that love us, and nothing can separate us from the love of God (Romans 8:37-39); Our God shall supply all our needs, according to His riches in glory through Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19); Every good and perfect gift comes from God, and He never denies us anything (James 1:17) especially when we are righteous.

So when we are hard-pressed, and troubled on every side – we don’t get distressed, or crushed.

When we are perplexed – we are not in despair, we don’t quit, or give up, but our patience is activated.

When we are persecuted – we know, we are not forsaken, nor abandoned.

When we are cast, knocked, or struck down – we are not destroyed, we get up and go.

When we throw in the towel, God throws it back at us, and let us know that, His grace is sufficient, and His strength is made perfect in our weakness( 2 Corinthians 12:9).

You must realize, that all these things occur, so that we can magnify, manifest, and demonstrate, the legacy of Jesus Christ, all that He did for us, plus the victory, authority, and power he gave us to tread upon serpents, scorpions and all the power of the enemy, where nothing can hurt or harm us ( 2 Corinthians 4:8-10, Luke 10:19).

So beloved, as Christians we must know that things happen, so that Gods grace and mercy is seen, and will cause many people to give God the glory, praise, and thanks He deserves, you must realize that sometimes we are the Bible that unbelievers read. We are on display everyday. So let us continue to walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise children of God redeeming the time in these evil days (Ephesians 5:15). Even in uncomfortable, sometimes unbearable situations, we should put our complete trust, and confidence in the most High God, who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worked in us (Ephesians 3:20).

Listen to me, when you have a strong relationship with God you can move mountains, or He will take you over the mountain, or He will take you through the mountain, it all depends on what will give Him more glory. If you never have an encounter,or don’t know God or His only begotten son Jesus Christ (John 3:16-17), go to the top of this blog, click on to the salvation page, and just follow the instructions, it will be the best thing you ever do.

I give God our Heavenly Father, the glory, praise, honor, and thanks for using me to bring this message to you, I pray it blessed you as it did me, and you will abide in His will and way in Jesus Name, amen.
