When the devil comes knocking,tell him to flee,because,you are too close to the pearly gates,where the streets of the city are pure gold,and transparent like glass, a place where God shall wipe away all tears,from our eyes. Just imagine, there will be no more death,neither sorrow,nor crying,neither will there be anymore pain,for the former things are passed away ,Revelation 21:4. Why would anyone clothed in their right mind give that up,or trade everlasting life for a life of everlasting torment in a lake of fire and brimstone,as Revelation 20:10 describes. Why would you fight off the devil,and his temptations and lusts to quit or give up when you are so close to victory. One thing is certain,is that the Lord is not slack concerning His promise,as some men count slackness;but is longsuffering to us-ward,not willing that any should perish,but that all should come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night ;in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise,and the elements shall melt with fervent heat,the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be disolved,what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and Godliness. Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God,wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved,and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we,according to His promise,look for new heavens and a new earth,wherein dwelleth righteousness. Wherefore,beloved,seeing that ye look for such things,be diligent that ye may be found of Him in peace,without spot,and blameless.(2 Peter 3:9-14). Which of these permanent resting place do you desire,the new heaven and earth or hell with fire? COME OUT of the dark
Come out of the darkness and into the light to get a clear picture of how our lives are, we must experience a power outage at night, where there is nothing but darkness. And even though God has given us the sun by day and the moon by night so that we can see physically. Most people are blinded spiritually, and can’t see the light of the Son Jesus Christ who came to take away the sins of the world. People are in darkness because as 2 Corinthians 3:14 says, “Their minds were blinded and 2 Corinthians 4:4 tells us that the god of this world or age hath blinded the minds of them that believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
Real Christians keeps God’s word,and in Him is the love of God perfected, and if we abide in Him then we should walk as He walked. But the path of the just is,as the shining light,that shineth more and more unto the perfect day. Is your light shining.1 John 2:5. As a Christian who has seen the light and walked in the light then you can’t hate your brother or sister in Christ and otherwise. So if you hate, it means you are still walking in darkness. Matthew 5:14-16 tells us that we are the light of the world and we must let our light shine. The song says, “Let the beauty of Jesus be seen in me all His wonderful compassions and purity.”
The beauty of the whole Christian experience is that when we get to eternity there will be no night there and no need for a lamp, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light and we shall reign forever and ever Revelation 22:5. Therefore until that day comes Ephesians 5:8 tells us that now that we are light, we should walk as children of light and if you don’t have light or is walking as light Ephesians 5:11 tells us that Christ shall give thee light. Because He is the light of the world as Luke 2:32; John 1:4; John 3:19, 8:12, 12:35 and Revelation 21:23 tells us. David did tell us in Psalm 27:1 that the Lord is our light and salvation. PRAY FOR PEOPLE,STOP GOSSIPING
Man to man is so unjust,you don’t know who to trust,says Bob Marley in a song. It’s amazing how so many so called christians find it so easy to criticize,and talk about their brothers and sisters in Christ,instead of praying for them,encouraging,or edifying them. This is the reason why those who are trying hard to live a Holy and righteous life,have to pray in the spirit continuously,because, of the folks who you think have your back,and should be praying for you,they are the ones that the enemy is using to throw fiery darts at you. They fail to realize that the only perfect one who walk this earth was Jesus. But,God has issue out a warning for those folks who think they are Jesus and know it all,and think they are so perfect,you are exempt from the enemies attacks,because,he is using you to attack,your own brethren,stop being wise in your own eyes,everyone who follows Christ is under attack daily,so if you are not,examine yourself. Romans 3:23 which says,”For all have sinned,and come short of the glory of God”. Then 1Corinthians 10:12 says,”wherefore,let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall”.what about Matthew 7:3-5,”And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brothers eye,but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye,or wilt thou say to thy brother,let me pull the mote out of thine eye,and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite ,first cast the beam out of thine own eye,and then shalt thou see clearly to cast the mote out of thy brother’s eye”. How about Galatians 6:1which says,” Brethren,if a man be overtaken in a fault,ye who are spiritual restore such a one in the spirit of meekness,considering thyself,lest thou also be tempted”. What are you doing talking or praying,gossiping or intercede,breaking down or building up,discouraging or encouraging,helping or looking the other way,what are you doing to your brothers and sisters in Christ? Are you Helping the devil to throw darts and dirt,or are helping them by praying.HE WHO IS WITHOUT SIN,CAST THE FIRST STONE,then run for cover,so the rock don’t hit you,before you confess. “BUT THE END OF ALL THINGS IS AT HAND;BE YE,THEREFORE,SOBER,AND WATCH UNTO PRAYER”.[ 1Peter 4:7].
MAKE ROOM IN YOUR LIFE
Do you have room in your life for a real man,who will love you unconditionally,and never leave or forsake you. The best gifts in life do not come in splendor or majestic form because it’s not intended to draw the wrong attention or opinion. However, would it have made a difference if Jesus was born in a palace? Would more people love,accept,and believe? Unfortunately, there are more poor people than there are rich, therefore, most poor folks would feel unqualified because of status, race or gender. But Jesus did not come to call the righteous, but sinners who tend to be the most neglected (Matthew 9:13, Mark 2:17, Luke 5:32).
We look at Mary and Joseph, a man with a wealthy background would be able to find a room anywhere, after all Mary is carrying the King of kings and the Lord of lords. Jesus was a king before He was born and because He was the Messiah, the devil tried to execute Him. If He had been born in a palace like the king He is, it would have been easy to execute Him. But even though there was no room in the Inn at Bethlehem in Judea we see clearly that Proverbs 18:16 is a true statement, “That a mans gift maketh room for Him and brings Him before great men.” And so we see that Jesus’ gifts from birth made room for Him and brought Him before great men, who were never greater than Him.
No one should ever look down on people with humble beginnings because these are the ones who are more appreciative of the gifts they have and use them wisely to God’s glory. Mary nor Jesus was not concerned about where He was born because they knew He was destined for greatness because of who is Father is.
There was no room in the Inn, but Mary made the best out of a bad situation. She may have realized that every disappointment is for a good to them that love God and are called according to His purpose or we can stick to the original version of Romans 8:28 written in the King James, which says, without doubt that we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose. Mary knew it would work out for good because she loved God and was called to bear His Son. So instead of complaining and murmuring she wrapped Him in swaddling clothes and laid Him in a manger.
So when it seems like things just aren’t working out or going the way you imagined it would, hold tight, give thanks to God, rejoice and have faith for what He’s already planned. Jesus is the only man who would never break your heart,yet many refuse His love. Are they blind,confuse or both? HOW IS YOUR WALK WITH GOD
As ye have,therefore,received Christ Jesus the Lord,so walk ye in Him,rooted and built up in Him,and established in the faith,as ye have been taught,abounding with thanksgiving (Colossians 2:6 -7).For the ways of the Lord are right,and the just shall walk in them;but the transgressors shall fall in them,according to Hosea 14:9b. Therefore as children of God we should declare,”Teach me thy way O Lord,I will walk in thy truth;unite my heart to fear thy Name”(Psalms 86:11).He that saith He abideth in Him ought himself also so walk,even as He walked.[1 John 2:6]. Most folks claim they are christians,yet are ashamed to be associated with Jesus,afraid to tell other people,and are still living the same dirty lifestyle in the world,these are the folks who,give true christians a bad name.wearing the title,does not make you a christian,it’s the walk that does. But whosoever,keepeth His word,in him verily is the love of God perfected,by this know we that we are in Him (1John 2:5). Then verse eleven says,”But he that hateth his brother is in darkness,and walketh in darkness,and knoweth not where he goeth,because darkness hath blinded his eyes”. Check your steps,where are you placing your feet? Is it solid ground,or sinking sand.See then,that you walk circumspectly,not as fools but as wise,redeeming the time,because the days are evil. Wherefore,be ye not unwise,but understand what the will of the Lord is. And walk in love,as Christ also hath loved us,and hath given Himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling savor.[Ephesians 5:1,15-17]. “But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty,not walking in craftiness,nor handling the word of God deceitfully,but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.[ 2 Corinthians 4:2].
A PRAYER WARRIOR
What’s a prayer warrior? It’s simple someone who loves to pray,someone who prays without ceasing as 1Thessalonians 5: 17 says. Prayer warriors, pray for everyone,they don’t care what color,creed,or nationality,or religious affiliation,you belong to,as long as you are a child of God,who believes in Jesus Christ the Messiah. “Moreover,as for me,God forbid that I should sin against the Lord in ceasing to pray for you,but I will teach you the good and right way”(1 Samuel 12:23). Wouldn’t it be good,if all christians take praying this serious,the enemy would be fearful, scared and running.What society called prayer warriors Jesus called hypocrites,who uses vain repititions,with much words and no effect or power as Matthew 6:5-7 describes. Prayer warriors prays all the time,and they pray according to God’s will in His word.Every child of God is a prayer warrior,and if you are not you better learn to be one quickly,because,he who dwells in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty,and can boldly declare that,He is there refuge and fortress,and only in God they trust as Psalm 91 says. But in Matthew 26:41 Jesus tells us to,” Watch and pray,that ye enter not into temptation,the Spirit indeed is willing,but the flesh is weak”. Therefore,if you are not a prayer warrior,become one it’s your only connection and weapon when all hell is breaking loose. You don’t have to tell a prayer warrior to pray for you,they were doing it before you ask,because,they are obedient to the word in Colossians 1:9-12 where Paul gives us an example of the duties of a prayer warrior,”.. Since the day we heard it,do not cease to pray for you,and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, that you may walk worthy of the Lord,fully pleasing Him…” Prayer warriors,pray always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit,being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints as Ephesians 6:18 tells us to do. Everyone who calls themselves christians should be praying for each other,and praying together as a unified body so that things can happen,like in Acts12,when the believers get together and pray for the release of Peter,out of prison,and God senf the angel to free him. Why are we not seeing things like that happening everyday,it’s because,the church is not unified,they are too busy competing and fighting,there is just too much self-centered folks,who don’t care about anything but self,and so the enemy is causing havoc,it’s time for a change,it’s time for more praying,and less fighting and competing. Let’s start praying more children of God,we are all in this together. Remember,James 5:15-16 says,”And the prayer of faith shall save the sick,and the Lord shall raise him up;and if he have committed sins,they shall be forgiven him,confess your faults one to another,and pray one for another,that ye may be healed. The effectual,fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much”. Pray the prayer of Faith,which is praying based on God’s word,which will manifest His will into your life,and only prayer warriors who study God’s word daily knows this. Be effective in your prayers,by studying the word of God,in order to know His will,which will guide you in your prayers.
A CHRISTIANS RESPONSIBILITY
Know who you are in Christ,and to Christ.”As ye have,therefore,receive Christ Jesus the Lord,so walk ye in Him,rooted and built up in Him,and established in the faith..”(Colossians 2:6-7). Reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin,but alive unto God through Jesus Christ,our Lord. Let not sin,therefore,reign in your mortal body,that ye should obey its lusts. Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin,but yield yourselves unto God,as those that are alive from the dead,and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God (Romans 6:11-13). Therefore,it is the christians responsibility to follow Christ’s examples in relation to God’s work and will. Therefore,know the facts of our union and identification with Christ in His death and resurrection. So,I am crucified with Christ;nevertheless I live,yet not I,but Christ liveth in me,and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God,who loved me and gave Himself for me”(Galatians 2:20). These are the facts and truths we have to hold on to and stand on in these perilous times,and as 1 John 4:4 says,”Greater is He that is in us,than he that is in the world”. We must count these facts as truth,and present ourselves as children of God displaying the fruit of the Spirit in Galatians 5:22-23 which are love,joy,peace,long-suffering,gentleness,goodness,faith,meekness,and self-control. We must do as Romans 12:1-2 suggest,and present our bodies as living sacrifices unto God,which is our reasonable service,and be not conformed to this world ,but be transformed by the renewing of our minds,so that we will be able to prove,what is that good,and perfect,and acceptable will of God. Then we have to be obedient to God’s word and will for us,which means we do as Jesus commanded us to do in the great commission,”Go ye into all the world,and preach the gospel to every creature.He that believeth and baptized shall be saved,but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe: In my Name they shall cast out demons,they shall speak with new tongues,they shall take up serpents,and if they drink any deadly thing,it shall not hurt them,thay shall lay hands on the sick,and they shall recover [Mark 16:15-18]. Are you a real christian or a counterfeit,or undercover ,God is looking for real ones,bold ones,dedicated,and devoted christians,because the harvest is plenty,but the laborers are few. God is looking for a few good christians,are you one,will you be one? GOD SEES IT ALL
Do you really think that God didn’t see you? The cheating,the lies,who you are sneaking around with,the murder,the stealing,etc. Trust me you didn’t get away with it,and will not get away with it. God says,”BE NOT DECEIVED,GOD IS NOT MOCKED,FOR WHATEVER A MAN SOWETH,THAT SHALL HE ALSO REAP”. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption,but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap everlasting life.(Galatians 6:7-8). But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done,and there is no respect of persons[Colossians 3:25].I am a living testimony of this fact,and God gives us two options,(1) Romans 6:23,”For the wages of sin is death,but the gift of God is eternal life”.(2) 1John 1:9 ” If we confess our sins,He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins,and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness”. What a relief it was to be given an option,by the Creator,who could have just snuff me out with a word,but instead He gave me a chance and a choice to choose life. And He records it, the good thing about all this is that everyone has the same choices and options that He gave me,and we can find this option in Deuteronomy 30:15-20. The problem with most people is they think this is not for them,or it doesn’t apply to them,but here is another word from the Lord,in Hosea 4:6 “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge,because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee.. The choices and decisions are all yours; is it God or satan,heaven or hell,everlasting life or everlasting torments. “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man,but the end thereof are the ways of death” Proverbs 14:12.If it’s your desire to choose to be with Jesus who paid the price for you to go to heaven,and enjoy abundant life,just go to the top of this blog,click on to the salvation page and get started.
GOD’S GOT HIS EYES ON YOU.
Why do you think people say,what ever you do in the dark,will one day come to light. It’s because,God sees and knows your deepest,and darkest secrets,and He reveals them all,when you least expect it,or think no one will ever know.No one can hide from God, and you would thing that people would choose to do good,because they know that God is watching. Do they sin,because ,they don’t fear Him,or they just don’t care. One thing for sure whatever you do,good or evil,He is watching.”For His eyes are upon the ways of man,and He seeth all his goings.(Job 34:21). For the ways of man are before the eyes of the Lord,and He pondereth all his goings(Proverbs 5:21). Just imagine you are in bed with someone that you are not married to,or suppose to be with,He is watching. Jeremiah 16:17 says,”For mine eyes are upon all their ways;they are not hidden from my face,neither is their iniquity hidden from mine eyes”. In 2 Samuel 11&12,King David,thought no one knew his secret till,God send the Prophet Nathan,to expose him,which lead David to write Psalms 139:7 which says,”Whither shall I go from thy Spirit? Or whither shall I flee from thy presence? Which leads us to God telling us in Revelation 3:15-16 says,to everyone,especially the undercover christians,”I know thy works,that thou art neither cold nor hot;I would thou wert cold or hot. So,then,because thou art lukewarm,and neither cold nor hot,I will spew thee out of my mouth”. Do you really want the Lord to spew you out? If not then serve Him in Spirit and truth,be Holy for He is Holy. It’s time to present your body as a living sacrifice,that is holy and acceptable unto Him,which is your reasonable service. Stop being conformed to this world,and be transformed by the renewing of your mind,as Romans 12:1-2 suggests. For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous,and His ears are open unto their prayers;but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil”(1 Peter 3:12). SACRIFICE
Most of us make many sacrifices in life for things that does not truely satisfy. We sacrifice our time,money,and happiness for our children to be somebody,for people to love us,to fit into a group,to be rich,famous,and many other things. However,most folks end up frustrated and bitter,disappointed and disgusted,when the end doesn’t justify the means. However,their are sacrifices that are made that does yield great rewards of joy ,accomplishment,and fulfillment, for example Jesus sacrifice on the cross to redeem us,and we in turn,presenting our bodies,as living sacrifices,that’s holy and acceptable unto God,which is our reasonable service for the sacrifice ,He did for us. Why is it so hard for us especially people who pretend to be Christians to offer the sacrifices of righteousness,and put your trust in the Lord(Psalms 4:5). How about a sacrifice of praise and thanksgiving,these are the kinds of sacrifices that will please God,and be beneficial to mankind. Psalms 51:15-19 says,”O Lord,open thou my lips,and my mouth shall show forth thy praise. For thou desirest not sacrifice,else would I give it;thou delightest not in burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and a contrite heart,O God,thou wilt not despise. Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion,build thou the walls of Jerusalem. Then shalt thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness ….” What are you sacrificing to God,and for God? What have you done for Him lately or daily? Only what’s done for Christ will last. When we make the sacrifice to serve and live for God,He will put gladness in our hearts,and we will both lay down in peace and sleep,for only the Lord makes us dwell in safety(Psalms 4:7&8).
