Is anything too hard for the Lord ? At the time appointed I will return unto thee,according to the time of life,and Sarah shall have a son (Genesis 18:14). Ah,Lord God! Behold,thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and outstretched arm,and there is nothing too hard for thee. Behold,I am the Lord,the God of all flesh,is there anything too hard for Me ? [Jeremiah 32:17&27]. “Children,how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God! It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle,than for a rich man to enter into the the kingdom of God,and they were astonished out of measure,saying among themselves,who,then can be saved? And Jesus,looking upon them,saith, with men it is impossible,but not with God;for with God all things are possible”,as we are told in Mark 10:24-27. However,in luke 1:37,it says ,For with God nothing shall be impossible. Most folks get their education,and jobs ,house,and car,and never give credit to God,or Jesus His only begotten Son,who died for us so that,ee could be free,and He stated,clearly in John 15:5b”For without me ye can do nothing”. Though I walk in the midst of trouble,thou wilt revive me,thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies ,and thy rigjt hand shall save me. The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me. Thy mercy,O Lord,endureth forever,forsake not the works of thine own hands says,Psalms 138:7-8. How precious also are thy thoughts unto me,O God! How great is the sum of them! Psalm 139:17. “And this is the confidence that we have in Him,that if we ask anything according to His will He hears us. And if we know that He hears us,whatever we ask,we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him,according to 1John 5:14-15. Because,as Ephesians 3:20 eloquently puts it”Now unto Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think,according to the power that worketh in us”. For God to do the impossible for you. You must start by doing as He says in 2 Chronicles 7:14″If my people,who are called by my name,shall humble themselves ,and pray,and seek my face,and turn from their wicked eayd,then will I hear from heaven,and will forgive their sin,and will heal their land”. Behold,the Lord’s hand is not shortened,that it cannot save;neither his ear heavy,that it cannot hear. But your iniquities have seperated between you and your God,and your sins have hidden his face from you,that He will not hear”[Isaiah 59:1-2]. ASK FOR A NEW HEART
When you want to start a new life,be sure to ask God for a heart transplant. Because that’s where He looks,first to see who you are,and what you are made of, Just say, “Create in me a clean heart,O God,and renew a steadfast spirit within me,David said it,in Psalms 51:10,and his life was changed to better. This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days,says the Lord;I will put my laws into their hearts and in their minds I will write them;and their sins and iniquities will I remember no more, now where remission of these is,there is no more offering gor sin(Hebrews10:16-18). My child (son),forget not my law,but let your heart keep my commandments;for length of days and long life and peace they will add to you;let not mercy and truth forsake you,bind them around your neck,write them on the tablet of your heart ,and so find favor and high esteem in the sight of God and men says,Proverbs 3: 1-4. In Ezekiel 36:26-27 it reads,”A new heart also will I give you,and a new spirit will I put within you;and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh,and I will give you an heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit within you,and cause you to walk in my statutes,and ye shall keep mine ordinances,and do them”. But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; after those days,saith the Lord,I will put my law in their inward parts,and write it in their hearts,and will be their God,and they shall be my people. And they shall teach no more every man his neighbor,and everyman his brother,saying,know the Lord;for they shall all know me,from the least of them unto the greatest of them,saith the Lord;for I will forgive their iniquity,and I will remember their sin no more. Thus saith the Lord,who giveth the sun for a light by day,and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night,who divideth the sea when its waves roar; the Lord of hosts is His name”(Jeremiah 31:33-35). Hear counsel,and receive instruction,that thou mayest be wise in the latter end. There are many devises in a man’s heart;nevertheless,the counsel of the Lord,that shall stand. The desire of a man is his kindness,and a poor man is better than a liar. The fear of the Lord tendeth to life,and he who hath it shall abide satisfied,he shall not be visited with evil according to Proverbs 19:20-23. “But the path of the just is like the shining light,that shineth more and more into unto the perfect day. The way of the wicked is like darkness;they know not what they stimble. My son,attend to my words;incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes;keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them,and health to all their flesh. Keep thy heart with all diligence;for out of it are the issues of life. Put away from thee a crooked mouth,and perverse lips put far from thee. Let thine eyes look right on,and let thine eyelids look straight before thee. Ponder the path of thy feet,and let all thy ways be established. Trust in the Lord with all thine heart,and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him,and He shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes,fear the Lord,and depart from evil. It shall be health to thy navel,and marrow to thy bones. Honor the Lord with thy substance,and with the first fruits of all thine increase;so shall thy barnes be filled with plenty,and thy presses shall burst out with new wine”(Proverbs 3:1-10). Now comes the warning,” Behold,to obey is better than sacrifice,and to hearken than the fat of rams. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft,and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry…”1 Samuel 15:22&23. Wherefore,as the Holy Spirit saith,Today if ye will hear His voice,harden not your hearts..”Hebrews 3:7&8. GOD’S UNSPEAKABLE GIFT
Why do people give up the good and perfect gift ,for flowers and chocolates ? Why honor and respect Valentine, instead of Jesus who knows everything about love,and demonstrate what love truly is by giving His life .People look for all kinds of gifts,and look forward for their significant other to pop the question.But God gave us His best gift,and pop the question to us everyday,WILL YOU LOVE AND OBEY ME? Most people only give gifts on special occasions, like Valentines day,Christmas,anniversary ,birthday,and other special occasions. However,God’s gifts are available to us daily,and it has a lifetime guarantee. Thanks be unto God for His unspeakable gift [2Corinthians 9:15]. How many people really appreciate this gift? And how many really know who or what this gift is? Well John 3:16 tells us,” For God so loved the world,that He gave His only begotten Son,that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish,but have everlasting life”. Most people in these latter days think they can buy their way into heaven,or that their good works will get them there,but Ephesians 2:8-9 says,”For by grace are ye saved through faith,and that not of yourselves,it is the gift of God;not of works,lest any man should boast”. God doesn’t brag about how much His gift cost,yet people know the cost,it is priceless,yet they reject it daily,and take it for granted. “For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance says,Romans 11:29. Jesus gives us His gift of love,and tells us to love even our enemies,”That ye may be the children of your Father,who is in heaven;for He maketh His sun to rise on the evil and on the good,and sendeth rain on the just and unjust”(Matthew 5:45). Why do people refuse God’s unspeakable gift ,when nothing is comparable or compatible,even though James 1:17 reminds us that,”Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above,and cometh down from the Father of lights,with whom is no variableness,neither shadow of turning”. So why are so many people rejecting this good ,and perfect gift,for flowers and chocolates. DO YOU LOVE GOD ?
How can you prove that you truly love God ? Are you obeying His commands. Why do you love Him ? Is it for His blessings and benefits. How do you love Him ? Wholeheartedly,partially,or now and then. “But the hour cometh,and now is,when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in Spirit and in truth; for the Father seeketh such to worship Him. God is a Spirit,and they that worship Him,must worship Him in spirit and in truth”[John 4:23-25]. It’s simple,Jesus said,in John 14:15″If you love me,keep my commandments”. If you don’t accept Jesus,then here is your answer. Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father,ye would love me,for I proceeded forth and came from God,neither came I of myself,but He sent me. Why do ye not understand my speech? Even because ye cannot hear my word. Ye are of your father the devil,and the lusts of your father ye will do… He that is of God heareth God’s word;ye,therefore,hear them not,because ye are not of God,(John 8:42-47). You can’t pretend or fool God,like you fool people,in Revelation 3:15-16,He wants all the pretenders and fakers to know,”I know thy works,that thou att neither cold nor hot;I would thou wert cold or hot. So, then, because thou art lukewarm,and neither cold nor hot,I will spew thee out of my mouth”. So who do you really love ? God,the devil,which is self,and the things of this world.” Little children,let no man deceive you;he that doeth righteousness is righteous,even as He is righteous. He that committeth sin is of the devil,for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested,that He might destroy the works of the devil. Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin,for his seed remaineth in him,and he cannot sin,because he is born of God. In this the children of God are manifest,and the children of the devil,whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God,neither he that loveth not his brother” 1John 3:7-10. So do you love God as you should, Mark 12:30,31 tells us” And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart,and with all thy soul,and with all thy mind,and with all thy strength,this is the first commandment. And the second is this: Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. There is no other commandment greater than these”. This is proof that you love God. 1John 5:2-5 sums it up like this,” By this we know that we love the children of God,when we love God,and keep His commandments. For this is the love of God,that we keep His commandments,and His commandments are not grievous or burdensome. For whatever is born of God overcometh the world;and this is the victory that overcometh the world,even our faith. Who is he that overcometh the world,but he that believeth that Jesus is the Sin of God”. IS RELIGION A STUMBLING BLOCK
People use religion as a stumbling block instead of a stepping stone,to seek God for themselves,to know Him up close and personal. However,sooner or later they will all run out of excuses,they will have to read the word of God to know the truth about God. Lets look at why people consider religion a stumbling block,it’s because everyone is in search of truth,and people are divided on issues,policies,food,the day to worship,and a variety of issues,but that’s the enemies scheme to divide and conquer us ,thus reducing us to his standards,which will ultimately leads to our demise. The truth is all the answers to all the issues,questions,and everything else is in the Bible,the problem is how are you reading it ? In the natural or Spiritual,with man’s knowledge and intellect or from the Holy Spirit,which Jesus says, in John 14:26 “But the comforter,who is the Holy Spirit,whom the Father will send in my Name,He shall teach you all things,and bring all things to your remembrance,whatever I have said unto you”. Listen to what 1Corinthians2:14 says,”But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God;for they are foolishness unto Him,neither can he know them,because they are spiritually discerned”. This is the reason why their are so many religions,which are considered as stumbling blocks,to confuse the massive,because,of enticing words of man’s wisdom. The apostle Paul said,in 1 Corinthians 2:4-5 “And my speech and my preaching were not with enticing words of man’s wisdom,but in the demonstration of the Spirit and of power,that your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men,but in the power of God”. So who are you listening to God or men,to hear from Him you must read the Bible. Here is what the Bible says : For there is one God ,and one mediator between God and men,the man,Christ Jesus,who gave Himself a ransom for all,to be testified in due time”. No where in there does it say we are or will be saved by religion,or denomination affiliation. Therefore,how will religion save you ,when Jesus is the way,the truth,and the giver of eternal life,and no one goes to our Heavenly Father without going through Him,which is found in John 14:6. Lets set the record straight,John 3:16 says,”For God so loved the world,that He gave His only begotten Son,that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life”. Then Colossians3:11 says,”Where there is neither Greek nor Jew,circumcision nor uncircumcision,barbarian,Scythian,bond nor free,but Christ is all,and in all”. So what will be your excuse,when you die,or Jesus return? As Romans 14:12 says,”So,then,every one of us shall give account of himself to God”. ENCOURAGEMENT FOR THE SOUL
Most of us feel down and discouraged, and need to be encouraged. But how do we get out of that funk,lets see what men of the Bible did: First you get to the source of the problem and ask yourself, why art thou cast down,O my soul? And why art thou disquieted within me? Hope thou in God;for I shall yet praise Him,who is the health of my countenance,and my God (Psalms 42:11). It’s normally when you are down,that people who you think would encourage you,turn against you,and then talk about you,but listen to what this expert in these matters did. “And David was greatly distressed for the people spoke of stoning him.because the soul of all the people was grieved,every man for his sons and for his daughters. But David encouraged himself in the Lord his God”( 1Samuel 30:6). When there is no one there to comfort or encourage you,that’s when you got to do it yourself. How do you do that? Ephesians 5:19-20 suggest that you,”Speaking to yourselves in Psalms and hymns and spiritual songs,singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord,giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Then 1Thessalonians 5:16-18 says,”Rejoice evermore,pray without ceasing,in everything give thanks,for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you”.Listen you are not thanking Him,for the mess or tribulation you are in,but for the fact that,He is able,willing,and capable of getting you out of your crisis,that’s why you are thanking Him,you are looking pass your problem to your deliverance. Psalm 34:19 says,”Many are the afflictions of the righteous,but the Lord delivereth him out of them all. Therefore,like He told Joshua 1:7-9″ Only be thou strong and very courageous,that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law,which Moses,my servant,commanded thee;turn not from it to the right hand or to the left,that thou mayest prosper wherever thou goest. This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth,but thou shalt meditate therein day and night,that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein;for then thou shalt make thy way prospetous,and then thou shalt have good success. Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of good courage,be not afraid,neither be thou dismayed,for the Lord thy God is with thee wherever thou goest”. Then Psalm 27:14 suggests that we should,”Wait on the Lord,be of good courage,and He shall strengthen thine heart,Wait,I say, on the Lord”. WHAT TO DO DURING TRIBULATION
You have two options during tribulation,turn to God,or turn to the devil. God can deliver out of tribulation,but the devil will bury you deeper in it. “But if from there thou shalt seek the Lord thy God,thou shalt find Him,if thou seek Him with all thy heart and with all thy soul. When thou art in tribulation,and all these things are come upon thee,even in the latter days,if thou turn to the Lord thy God,and shalt be obedient unto His voice. For the Lord thy God is a merciful God,He will not forsake thee,neither destroy thee,nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which he swore unto them,(Deuteronomy 4: 29-31). The main reason most folks are not victorious in tribulation is because they don’t stand in God’s word and promises. “But he that received the seed in stony places,the same is he that heareth the word,and immediately with joy receiveth it;yet hath he not root in himself,but endureth for a while;for when tribulation or persecution arisrth because of the word,immediately he is offended. He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word;and the care of this age,and the deceitfulness of riches,choke the word,and he becometh unfriitful. But he that received seed in good ground is he that heareth the word,and understandeth it,who also beareth fruit,and bringeth forth,some an hundred-fold,some sixty,some thirty,(Matthew13:20-23). However,James 1:2-4 tells us to count it all joy when we fall into various trials ,knowing this,that the testing of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work,that ye may be perfect and entire,lacking nothing. So we must know the facts and truth of Gods word and promises to pull us through,because we already overcome,that’s why Jesus reminds us in John16:33,that in the world,you will have tribulation,but be of good cheer,I have overcome yhe world.Romans 12:12 tells us to rejoice in hope,patient in tribulation,continuing diligently in prayer. Romans 5:3 suggests,that we should glory in tribulation,knowing that tribulation worketh patience… Therefore,the key to going through tribulation is knowing God,and what you mean to Him,praying,have patience,hoping, and be fruitful,as Galatians 5:22-23 puts it love,joy,peace,goodness,faith,etc. Hebrews 11 gives us the evidence,proof,and testimony of all the people God help,through their trials,and tribulation,and He has not changed His mind about helping us ,but we have to start believing as Psalms34:19says,”Many are the afflictions of the righteous,but the Lord delivereth him out of them all. ARE YOU A SHEEP OR A GOAT
Where will you go if Jesus appears right now? Will you be one of His sheeps or the devils goat?When the Son of man shall come in His glory,and all the holy angels with Him,then shall He sit upon the throne of His glory; and before Him shall be gathered all the nations;and He shall seperate them one from another,as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats. And He shall set the sheep on His right hand,but the goats on the left. Then shall the King say unto them in His right hand,come ye blessed of my Father,inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.(Matthew 25:31-34). Then shall He say also unto them in the left hand. Depart from me ,ye cursed,into everlasting fire,prepared for the devil and his angels.(Matt.25:41). How do you know if you are a sheep or a goat? John10:27-29 Jesus states it clearly,”My sheep hear my voice,and I know them,and they follow Me;And I give unto them eternal life;and they shall never perish,neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father,who gave them to me,is greater than all,and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand”. However,Matthew 7:15 warns us,”Beware of false prophets,who come to you in sheep’s clothing,but inwardly they are raving wolves”. Ye are of your father the devil,and the lusts of your father ye will do;he was a murderer from the begining,and abode not in the truth,because there is no truth in him,when he speaketh a lie,he speaketh of his own,for he is a liar,and the father of it,John 8:44;However,v47 says,”He that is of God heareth God’s wirds,ye therefore,hear them not,because ye are not of God”. THE BENEFIT AND DISCOMFORT OF A WORD
A word can make you or break you,it can uplift you or trample you;it can discourage or encourage. Which ever one you choose to speak,or receive is up to you. However,you must remember that death and life are in the power of the tongue,and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof,according to Proverbs 18:21. The question is how are you using,and applying God’s word daily? Must I remind you,that He made all things. Jesus eloquently puts it this way,” O generation of vipers,how can you being evil speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. A good man,out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things,and an evil man,out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. But I say unto you,that every idle word that men shall speak,they shall give account of it,in the day of judgment”. Which means we have to be very careful and not carefree with what we say,because,what you say,will be held against you,in God’s court,and He has it recorded. Therefore,when we speak God’s word,we have to make sure,He gives you permission,because,His words according to Jeremiah 23:29 is like fire,and like a hammer that breaks rock in pieces;and Hebrews 4:12 says,”For the word of God is quick and powerful,and sharper than any twoedged sword,piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit,and of joints and marrow;and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart”. Then Isaiah 55:11 is the scary one,He said,”So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth,it shall not return unto me void,but it shall accomplish that which I please,and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it”. Therefore,”Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth,but that which is good to the use of edifying,that it may minister grace unto the hearers,Ephesians 4:29 tells us.As a christian you know that 1John 4:4 says,”Greater is He who is in you,than he that is in the world”,which means God is speaking through you,so are you speaking His words to edify,encourage,strengthen your brethren or are you speaking the words of the devil that steals,kills,and destroy. In Jeremiah 5:14 it says,”Wherefore,thus saith the Lord God of hosts,because ye speak this word,behold,I will make My words in thy mouth fire,and this people wood,and it shall devour them. Watch the words that comes out of your mouth.”And thou,son of man,be not afraid of them,neither be afraid of their words,though briers and thorns be with thee,and thou dost dwell aming scorpions;be not afraid of their words,nor be dismayed at their looks,though they be a rebellious house. And thou shalt speak my words unto them,whether they will hear,or whether they will forbear;for they are most rebellious.[Ezekiel 7:6-7].
