HAPPY NEW YEAR
we all love the thrill of victory ,and hate the agony of defeat . “But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ”.{1 Corinthians 15:57}.
For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? {I John 5:4-5 }.
However,What is more important to you?
-Getting your victory or giving God the glory for your victory?
-Do you celebrate and enjoy your victories more than you glorify God for your victories?
-Don’t feel bad we all have been guilty of this at some point or another.
-Before we celebrate our victories let us purpose in our hearts to first glorify God.
Psalm 34:1-3 tells us what to say before, during ,and after victories. “I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make its boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together”.
What is more important to you?
-Getting your victory or giving God the glory for your victory?
-Too often many of us wait until we are in a good mood, and or having a good time before we can praise the Lord.
-Remember there is a praise that is highly accessible unto the Lord, and that is called the SACRIFICE of PRAISE.
-Even when you don’t feel like it,and things are not going as expected, make the sacrifice ,and praise God anyhow.
As Hebrews 13:15 says, By him therefore let us offer the SACRIFICE of PRAISE to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name. Hallelujahs to Jesus!!! “Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place”[2 Corinthians 2:14]
•Continue to let the WORD of God be the standard for your life. Always LOVING others like Christ Jesus loves us while keeping our faith, trust and confidence in Him.
•BLESSED you are and BLESSED you will always be and to God be all the GLORY. Amen!
