DESPERATION PRAYERS

How Often Do We Pray For One Another?
+Do we pray more for things than we pray for one another?
+Do we wait for others to call us with a problem before we pray for them?
James 5:16
Confess your faults one to another, and PRAY ONE FOR ANOTHER, THAT ALL OF YOU MAY BE HEALED. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.
EMPHASIS:
A. PRAY ONE FOR ANOTHER…
B. THAT ALL OF YOU MAY BE HEALED… (Please note that we also receive HEALING when we pray for one another).
Luke 18:1 (Jesus said)
…that men ought always to pray, and not to faint.
+I am praying for you and thank you for praying for me.

LET’S PRAY…..

Please God, rescue me! come quickly Lord, and help me ,may those who try to destroy me, be humiliated and put to shame. May those who take delight in my trouble, be turned back in disgrace, let them be horrified by their shame, for they said, “Aha,aha! we’ve got him now!”. But, may all who search for you be filled with joy, and gladness. May those who love your salvation repeatedly shout, “God is great!” But I am poor and needy; please hurry to my aid, O God, You are my helper and my deliverer; O Lord do not delay.

In you O Lord, I put my trust; let me never be put to shame. Deliver me in your righteousness, rescue me, turn your ear to me and save me. Be to me a protecting rock of safety, where I am always welcome, give the order to save me, for you are my rock and my fortress. My God, rescue me from the power of the wicked, from the crutches of the cruel oppressors. O Lord, you alone are my hope, I’ve trusted you, O Lord, from childhood; yes, you have been with me from birth; from my mother’s womb you have cared for me, No wonder I am always praising you! My life has been an example to many, because you have been my strength and protection, that is why I can never stop praising you; I declare your glory all day long. And now in my old age, don’t set me aside, don’t abandon me when my strength is failing, for mine enemies are whispering against me, they are plotting together to kill me. O God, don’t stay away. My God, please hurry to help me. Bring disgrace and destruction on those who accuse me, may humiliation and shame cover those who want to harm me. But I will keep on hoping for you to help me; I will praise you more and more, I will tell everyone about your righteousness, all day long I will proclaim your saving power, for I am overwhelmed by how much you have done for me. I will praise your mighty deeds, O sovereign Lord, I will tell everyone that you alone are just and good. I will shout for joy and sing your praises, for you have redeemed me. I will tell about your righteous deeds all day long, for everyone who tried to hurt me has been shamed and humiliated, in Jesus name, amen. (Psalms 70-71).

HOW TO OVERCOME

Everything in the Bible teaches us something, warns us about something, and explains to us how others before us overcame. Every person in the Bible went through something to get to where God intended for them to be. However, they overcame every obstacle through their faith, trust, and hope in the God who made the universe.

Over two thousand years ago people had to depend on the prophets and the sacrifice of animals to atone for their sins, unfortunately no man or animal was suitable to take on the sins of the world. Folks it was never Gods intent for His best creation, made in His image and likeness, to be totally destroyed. Therefore, God had to find a suitable person, to be the ultimate sacrifice and show us how He wants us to live, worship Him, honor him, obey Him, how to kick the devils butt, and give us the victory to guarantee eternal life for His children and that is when and why God sent His only begotten A Son named, Jesus Christ.  He is the messiah, savior, advocate, High priest, substitute, healer, lawyer, doctor, redeemer and a whole lot more.

How can we escape, if we neglect, so great a salvation (Hebrews 2:3); O taste, and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the person who trusts in Him (Psalms 34:8). God’s greatest wish is for us to accept the gift of His Son, believe on or in His Son, so that we can have a relationship with Him, so we can be saved, so we can know His plans and will for our lives.

Jesus also showed us how to live in unity, unselfishly, kindly, compassionately, and lovingly. God never intended for us to be at war with each other and  disobey His commands, that’s the devils plans, schemes, and devises to destroy us because he is doomed.

God’s plans is for us to prosper and not harm us; give us hope and a future; not condemn us, but to save us (Jeremiah 29:11; John 3:16-17). The Bible was written as a personal message from God and contains all of His promises and desires for us. He has never lied or broken any of his promises (Numbers 23:19; Hebrews 6:18; 2 Peter 3:9). He speaks to us through the Bible, if only we would listen. When we read God’s promises everyday it should let us want to serve Him, worship Him, adore Him, love Him and obey Him, because it gives us hope and a glorious future to look forward to.
