SPIRITUAL HIGH

I wish the sex addicts, junkies, crack-heads, alcoholics, and all those who like to get high, could get some of this. I mean this stuff takes me pass cloud nine, I am still elevated pass the penthouse, and the skies. Now I understand when David said,”such knowledge is too wonderful for me;It is high I can’t attain it”(Psalm 139:6). This kind of high, that I am talking about, money can’t buy it, and if you could, you wouldn’t have enough money to purchase it. Listen, it’s not sold in stores, but the book it’s in is sold in stores, and you have people that’s giving it away for free. But, let me get to the point, I got up this morning, and my confidence was shattered, I felt depressed, down, like an outcast, so I decided to pray, and God nudged me to go pick up the Bible, I obeyed, and He led me to Psalms 139. Wow! After I read it a couple of times, I realize that someone loves me, cares for me, looking out for me from before I was born, and more. Listen look at some of the things God reveals to me: I am fearfully, and wonderfully made, yes I know, I am handsome, but of course I am, because I am fearfully, and wonderfully made. He  knew me before I was born, before my mother, and father got together, what I would look like. He knows, when I sit down, or stand up, He knows what I am thinking before I formulate it into words, the path I take, my lying down, even my ways, He is acquainted with, where ever I go, He is there, north, south, east, and west. Isn’t it good to know without a shadow of a doubt that God loves you, and cares so much, He sent is only begotten son, called Jesus the Christ, the messiah, the promise, the way, the truth, the life, and He is the only way to God. Listen to me, it’s written in the Holy Bible, read it (John 3:16, John 14:6, Philippians 2:9-11).

The only book, that tells you about; past, present, and future things, that has prophesies, promises, truths, and a whole lot more. The Bible gives you, confidence (Proverbs 3:26, 1 John 3:21, 1 John 5:14), strength (Philippians 4:13, Psalms 18:2), love(John 15:13, Ephesians 3:19), hope (Colossians 1:27,Psalms 31:24), joy (Jude 24, Nehemiah 8:10, 2 John 12), peace (Philippians 4:7, John 16:33, Isaiah 26:3, James 3:18), that no person, place, or thing can give, so you might as well serve the God who made it all. If you, desire to have all of the gifts, and promises God has for you, If you desire this kind of high I am talking about, go to the top of this blog, click on to the salvation page and follow the instructions, trust me, you will get a rush, or on a high that only God can give. I give all the glory, praise, honor, and thanks to my Heavenly Father, for using me to spread His message, I pray it was a blessing to you, as it was to me, and you will follow his will and ways in the Mighty Name of Jesus, the Name above every other name (Philippians 2:9),amen.

‘NOW THE GOD OF PEACE, THAT BROUGHT AGAIN FROM THE DEAD OUR LORD JESUS, THE GREAT SHEPHERD OF THE SHEEP, THROUGH THE BLOOD OF THE EVERLASTING COVENANT, MAKE YOU PERFECT IN EVERY GOOD WORK TO DO HIS WILL, WORKING IN YOU THAT WHICH IS WELL PLEASING IN HIS SIGHT THROUGH JESUS CHRIST, TO WHOM BE GLORY FOR EVER AND EVERY, AMEN'(Hebrews 13:20-21)

IT DOES NOT HURT TO ASK

Even though the sons of Zebedee were ambitious and it appeared as though they craved positions, they followed the principle of asking to receive. Their request was an impossible, but they were yet trying to secure a position of rulership because of their carnal or worldly mentality. But Jesus, before this, tells us that we have to forsake all and give up all for Him and God; Verse 29 says we will receive 100 times more. Job was a testimony of God’s return or his investment in God. When you invest your time, money and all to God He will give you one hundred fold and as we see in verse 27 nothing is impossible with God. “And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel’s, But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.” – Mark 10:29, 30

However, to receive from God we must be His servants; willing and able to save in His kingdom on a daily basis. In Mark 10:45 Jesus tells us that He came to serve and not to be served. This shows His humility and love for mankind, which also depicts our Father’s unlimited love for us. Mark 10:45 “For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

Jesus tells us that, as His servant or disciple, we will go through things that He went through (Mark 10 verse 39). John 16:33 confirms it when it tells us that as His servants in the world we will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, because He (Jesus) have overcome the world. Since he overcame the world, in Romans 8:37 He tells us that we are more than conquerors. Romans 8:1 reminds us that there is no more condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus who walk not according to the flesh, but after the Spirit of God.

Being servants to God and people displays God like qualities of Jesus and His love for others. Disputes cause divisions and that’s not what God is about (Mark 10:35-45). Division is of the devil because he knows that united we stand but divided we will fall. Unite with Jesus and we will never fall. HOW TO OVERCOME

Everything in the Bible teaches us something, warns us about something, and explains to us how others before us overcame. Every person in the Bible went through something to get to where God intended for them to be. However, they overcame every obstacle through their faith, trust, and hope in the God who made the universe.

Over two thousand years ago people had to depend on the prophets and the sacrifice of animals to atone for their sins, unfortunately no man or animal was suitable to take on the sins of the world. Folks it was never Gods intent for His best creation, made in His image and likeness, to be totally destroyed. Therefore, God had to find a suitable person, to be the ultimate sacrifice and show us how He wants us to live, worship Him, honor him, obey Him, how to kick the devils butt, and give us the victory to guarantee eternal life for His children and that is when and why God sent His only begotten A Son named, Jesus Christ.  He is the messiah, savior, advocate, High priest, substitute, healer, lawyer, doctor, redeemer and a whole lot more.

How can we escape, if we neglect, so great a salvation (Hebrews 2:3); O taste, and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the person who trusts in Him (Psalms 34:8). God’s greatest wish is for us to accept the gift of His Son, believe on or in His Son, so that we can have a relationship with Him, so we can be saved, so we can know His plans and will for our lives.

Jesus also showed us how to live in unity, unselfishly, kindly, compassionately, and lovingly. God never intended for us to be at war with each other and  disobey His commands, that’s the devils plans, schemes, and devises to destroy us because he is doomed.

God’s plans is for us to prosper and not harm us; give us hope and a future; not condemn us, but to save us (Jeremiah 29:11; John 3:16-17). The Bible was written as a personal message from God and contains all of His promises and desires for us. He has never lied or broken any of his promises (Numbers 23:19; Hebrews 6:18; 2 Peter 3:9). He speaks to us through the Bible, if only we would listen. When we read God’s promises everyday it should let us want to serve Him, worship Him, adore Him, love Him and obey Him, because it gives us hope and a glorious future to look forward to.

A TRUE FRIEND

Do you have any friends, that’s God sent, or do you know any? Do you have any that sticketh closer than a brother, or loves you unconditionally, at all times? Do you have any, who stick with you  through, thick or thin, good times and bad, up or down? I bet you don’t have one like mine, who gave his life for me, if you do then we have the same friend.

Let me tell you something, that’s mind-boggling. He considered me a friend before I even knew him. He didn’t even care about, what I look like, or my nationality, color, or creed. Wow! He didn’t care if I was tall or short, fat or slim, pretty or ugly, the thing that excites me is that, He is my forever friend, He is always there, He promised never to leave, nor forsake me (Hebrews 13:5).

Ladies and gentlemen, without further delay, let me introduce you to Him. His name is Jesus. The sweet rose of sharon, the lily of the valley, the bright and morning star. He is wonderful, a counselor, the Mighty God, the everlasting Father, the prince of peace (Isaiah 9:6). He is faithful, kind, compassionate, true, and forgiving. Yes He is all that and a bag of chips! He keeps all my secrets, and keeps no record of them, even when it’s against Him. Once I ask for forgiveness, He forgets them, and tells me to do the same.

Folks there is none like Him, and above Him there is no other. He is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one gets to God without going through Him (John 14:6). Don’t you want a true, authentic  friend like that? There is only one problem or stipulation. You can’t be a friend of the world, and be a friend of Jesus (1 John 2:15-17; James 4:4). If you want to accept and be His friend, go to the top of my blog, click on to the salvation page, and follow the instructions. It’s simple, after that’s done, you can sing like me, ”What a friend I have in Jesus, all my sins and griefs, He bears, what a privilege to carry everything to God in prayer… Oh, What peace we often forfeit,  oh, what needless pains we bear, all because we do not carry everything to God in prayer.” When we walk, talk, be obedient, and live for Jesus, we will be known as His friend like Abraham was to God (James 2:23).

Here are a few scriptures on friends, for your reading delight: 2 Chronicles 20:7 ;Proverbs 17:17, 18:24; John 15:13-15; James 2:23; James 4:4-5.

I give God the glory, praise, honor, and thanks for using me to deliver this message to us. I hope it was edifying and uplifting to you as it was to me. I pray that those who have never known a friend like this, will accept Jesus, and allow Him, to lead, guide, and protect them now and forever in Jesus name, amen.
