REQUIREMENTS FOR ETERNITY

Can you handle the truth about yourself, can you just be honest with yourself, you don’t need no psychiatrist to psychoanalyst your thoughts on this one. But, who do you belong to? Which god are you serving ? Which one do you obey?  It’s no secret, you can tell who belongs to the God of the universe, the omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient one; and who belongs to the god of this world. In life there are choices you have to give up something or someone, to gain something or someone, in this case you have to give the devil up, and choose God, you have to give up the devils lifestyle, and choose Gods.

God knows who belongs to Him, and who don’t. It’s just plain, simple, and straight forward folks, whosoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, and if you don’t love your brother you are not of God, and if you can’t love your neighbor, as yourself then you are not of God(1 John 3:10-24). You don’t need no brain surgeon, geek, or physiologist to tell you this, just look in a book called the Holy Bible, and it will explain it to you. This is the book that the devil, his children, and his followers hate so much, that they refute, change, and fight against everything in it, right down to the paper it’s written on.

The reason they hate the Bible so much is because, it reveals the truth, and exposes evil. But, no matter  how they try to dispute and refute it, it still remains, and reveals Gods will, purpose, prophesies, and plans for His children. You shall know the truth and the truth will set you free. God gave us the truth in His only begotten son Jesus Christ (John 14:6 ,   John 8:32). Now if you have a problem with that take it up with God, but it’s a no win situation, ask the devil he lost that battle years ago now, he wants you, to go to hell with him.

Friends, only through Jesus Christ you will find true happiness, love, joy, and peace, because He is the way the truth, and everlasting life. God gave us His only son, out of love for us, so He could show us the way, teach us the way, and be the way. Behold what manner of love our Heavenly Father has bestowed upon us that we should be called children of God, that’s good news ( 1 John 3:1).

Gods requirements for eternal life is simple:

1. Accepting His son, Jesus Christ.

2. Believing that Jesus is the way, truth, and life.

Beloved if our hearts condemn us not, then have we confidence towards God, and whatever we ask, we receive of Him, because we keep His commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in His sight ( 1 John 3:21-22). PATIENCE

Patience is a virtue everyone needs, especially Christians. Instead of attaching A.S.A.P ( As soon as possible) to everything, we should develop our patience, but nobody wants to wait for anything, they want their prayers answered, fame and fortune right away, everyone wants instantaneous success, but no time to wait. What we fail to realize half the time, is that our omnipotent God, sees and knows everything. He knows what we need before we even ask for it. He also knows the exact time and moment we need something.

As Christians, we also should know that God operates on His schedule, His time, His plans, and His will (Isaiah 55:8-9; Jeremiah 29:11). Patience develops, and strengthens your faith, hope, and trust in God (James 1:3-4; 1 Thessalonians 1:3), our God is patient with us, not to mention merciful (Romans 5:5). Did you forget that He told us, His grace is sufficient for us, and His strength is made perfect in our weakness ( 2 Corinthians 12:9).

God never lies, and He is not slack concerning His promises (Numbers 23:19, Hebrews 6:18, 2 Peter 3:9) so what is the problem?  Listen, instead of worrying, and trying to figure out how God is going to do it, you need to glorify Him, thank Him, praise Him, meditate on His promises, remain righteous, till you get answers, breakthrough, deliverance, whatever it is you prayed and asked for.

It’s only when we develop a solid relationship with Him, that we will get A.S.A.P answers to questions, and prayers, that’s when our focus will be on Him, and not our problems or situations, that’s when our faith, hope, trust, and patience takes full control. Job shows us what will happen when we are patient (Job 1:22, James 5:11), he got double for his patience.

They that wait upon the Lord, shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run, and not be weary, they shall walk, and never faint(Isaiah 40:31). Our God does not do anything in a hurry, or a rush. The point is, our God took six days to create the Heaven and the earth, when He could have done it in one, so you better make a note of that, if you never knew.

WHAT’S IN THE GLASS

Most people don’t realize that we are born with an empty glass, and what we fill that glass with determines, our future or where we will end up in this life or the next. The sad thing about it is that some people blame their parents, friends or their environment for what is poured in their glass. But I was sent, to let you know that everyone is responsible for themselves, it is your choice, and decision as to what is poured into your glass. You can fill it with love or hate, good or bad, peace or war, now you must realize by this, that one thing is of God, and the other of the devil. One leads to eternal life, the other leads to hell.

You better believe there is a heaven, and a hell, if you don’t then I am afraid you have filled your glass with contaminated water, that if you keep drinking it, will lead to the destruction of your life. If you have filled your glass with the lust of the eyes, lust of the flesh, and the pride of life, then the devil has you on a one way ticket to hell, so you better hop off, get off, jump off, whatever you have to do, you need to be off of that train or bus. “The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life, through Jesus Christ our Lord “Romans 6:23.

Stop filling up your glass with: sexual immorality, impurity, hatred, jealousy, drunkenness, violence, idolatry, murder, etc. folks who live like this will not inherit the Kingdom of God But if you fill your glass with the fruits of the spirit: Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, self-control, etc, you will find that your life will be ten times better, and you are on your way to glory (Galatians 5:19-26).

For everyone shall bear his own burden….be not deceived; God is not mocked; for whatsoever a man sows that he will also reap, if you live only to satisfy your own sinful desires, you will harvest the consequences of sin, which is death, and destruction, but if you live to satisfy the spirit, you will reap everlasting life – Galatians 6:5-8.

LOVE OR INFATUATION

Is this Love, is this love, love that I am feeling, Bob Marley asked in one of his songs; Maybe it’s lust or infatuation? Who knows these days. When I was growing up, we use to imagine what a person looks like under all those clothes, and guess the color underwear they have on, now it’s a style, fashion or the in-thing. Nothing left for the imagination; No wonder no one can differentiate between Love that’s genuine or infatuation; Is it a fling, a sex thing or love. I sure wish a lot of people would find that out, before they dive into a relationship, or marriage. Do you love the person or are you infatuated with them, is it for sex, money, security, or love.

When I look at the story of Adam and Eve, I realized, they had no choice in who their mate, wife, husband or partner was, they had to depend on God, well Adam had to. He did not have choices, fat, skinny, black, white, indian, or chinese, tall, short, long hair, short hair, rich, poor, none of those things was attached to love; all Adam needed was a help mate a companion, some one to relate to instead of himself, and the animals. So why did the purpose of love, marriage, friendship, companionship, change so drastically.

Allow me to tell you, we have taken God out of the equation, and replaced Him with our own personal agendas, greed, lust, and pride. It’s no longer we or us, it’s me and mine. That’s the reason we have so many divorces, people have allowed greed, and selfishness to run, and ruin their lives. We have allowed the devil to let sin control us, we have allowed sin to divide us, separate us, from each other, and God.

Lets not forget that God sent His only begotten son Jesus Christ to bridge the gap between man and God, and each other, how do I know that? I’m glad you asked. God sent His son into the world not to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved, check it out for yourself  (John 3:16-17, Romans 5:21, John 6:40,Romans 6:23), and many more scriptures to verify this. Friends for us to be on the right path to anything, we must be right with God, our Heavenly Father. Nothing will ever be right in our lives, until we make things right with God, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge” (Hosea 4:6, Isaiah 5:13) God does not wish for anyone to perish but that all should come to repentance( 2 Peter 3:9, 1 John 5:9-15). Jesus is the only way, truth, and the life, no one gets to God without going through Him (John 14:6,John 8:32,Romans 10:9). Now if you know God and want to clean your life up and start fresh, you must also repent, which is confessing read Romans 10:9-13, then read Romans 12, and do as it says.

BIN LADEN DEAD/but his daddy is still here

Listen folks, I have to educate you all on something, Osama Bin laden might be dead, but his father is still roaming around looking for a replacement and more people to devour. You must realize that all that hatred, bitterness and evil is of the devil, and until satan is destroyed completely, there will be more Bin ladens.

Do people really feel safer because this fool is dead, don’t they even realize that this guy was just a demonstration of  whats to come, another one of the devils puppets, don’t people realize that we are living in the last days, in perilous times (2 Timothy 3:1-8). Watch the news. Any time you see that the meteorologist, and all the so-called experts can’t predict the weather, or is shocked and amazed at natures destructive path, it tells you that there is  someone far superior than us, is trying to get our attention.

God is just showing us that, He is still God, and He is still in charge, and besides Him there is no other. Why people are shocked at what is happening in the world today disturbs me, because it means they never read the Bible or only the chapters that suit them, but Matthew 24:4-14, Luke 21:11-26 tells us about all this, and we are not even in the tribulation period yet, which is on the way (Matthew 24:21), and will be the worse time in human  history.

The end for the devil is near folks, so stop celebrating Bin Ladens death, because the devil is sending someone worse. Did you accept Gods free gift, and deliverance from all this, yes the gift of His only begotten son, Jesus Christ, who is the way, the truth, and the life (John 3:16-17; John 14:6, Romans 5:21, 1 John 5:11).There are many more scriptures to prove this fact. OBEDIENCE OR SACRIFICE

Isn’t it amazing,that when we are supposed to consult with our Heavenly Father about certain things,that we don’t.Or,  when we are supposed to trust Him with everything that we don’t.Unfortunately it is when we get stuck in our trials,tribulations,aches,and pain; that’s when, we are seeking Him,praying to Him,and begging Him for help.The sad part about it is, we expect God  just to fix our mess instantaneously,when we didn’t call upon Him to begin with.Most of us can’t take it when God apply the belt of truth to our butts,I can just here God saying softly,My child did seek me first?Did you follow my instructions in the Holy Bible?Have you ever obey all my commandments?Have you acknowledge me or even trust me?Did you ever try to find out the plans I have for you? Lets look at Gods answers: It is written,”God has set before us a blessing ,and a curse..Blessings when you obey His commands,and curses when you don’t obey them”(Deuteronomy 11:26-28).  It is written,”To obey is better than sacrifice ( 1 Samuel 15:22).Now ,can you imagine all the blessings you sacrifice,just because of disobedience,and then inherit all these curses.,it’s time for a real reality check-up on yourself. Hold up, God ,is not finish yet, here is some more:It’s written,”Seek ye first the kingdom of God ,and His righteousness,and everything else will be added unto you(Matthew 6:33),let me tell you a secret; blessings add,and multiply;curses subtract,and divide;now you understand why there is so much hatred,dishonesty,sexual immorality,sickness,diseases,and a whole lot of other things.     Here is another,It is written,”Trust in the Lord with all thine heart;and lean not unto thine own understanding.In all thy ways acknowledge Him;and He shall direct your path”(Proverbs 3:5-6).Yes,the sin of this one man ,Adam,caused death to rule over us,but all who received Gods wonderful,gracious gift of righteousness will live in triumph over sin and death through this one man,Jesus Christ….Because one person disobeyed God,many people became sinners,but because one other person obeyed God,many people will be made right in Gods sight( Romans 5:12-21).Are you one of the right ones ,who is obeying God,the only way to God is through His gift,His son Jesus Christ(John 3:16-17;John 6:40,Romans 5:21,John 14:6),that’s Gods written proof,and more.If you don’t Jesus Christ,as your personal Lord and savior,go to the top of this blog,click on to the salvation page,and just follow the instructions,it will be the best decision you ever make. TRUTH

“You can’t handle the truth” was one of my favorite movie quotes. And that is a fact of life, most people would rather hear a lie than the truth.

How about you? Can you handle the truth?

Well here is some truth, that is trustworthy, and faithful: “If we die with Him, we will also live with Him. If we endure or suffer, we will reign with Him. If we deny Him, He will deny us. If we are faithless, He remains faithful, because He can’t deny Himself”(2 Timothy 2:11-13). Allow the truth to enter your hearts, and minds and set you free (John 8:32). My job is to present myself approved to God, as a workman who is not ashamed to rightly divide the word of truth. And I am telling you that Jesus Christ is the only way, truth, and access to God our Father (John 14:6). I am not writing to debate or argue with you, or engage in Godless chatter, I am telling the truth, and stating a fact. Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands firm, sealed with this inscription: ” THE  LORD KNOWS THOSE WHO ARE HIS”, and “everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from  wickedness” ( 2 Timothy 2:19). Jesus lived on earth, and was full of grace, and truth (John 1:14). Don’t allow anyone to deceive you with vain words, because that will bring the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience(Ephesians 5:6). The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the Godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness. The truth about God is known to them instinctively. God has put this knowledge in their hearts. From the time the world was created, people have seen the earth, sky, moon, sun, stars, and all that God made. They can clearly see His invisible qualities, His Eternal power, and Divine Nature, so there is no excuse what so ever for not knowing God. For although they knew God, they neither glorified Him or thanked Him, but their thinking becomes futile, stupid, and foolish, thus darkening, hardening, and polluting their hearts (Romans 1:18-21).

KNOWLEDGE

“How many will have to suffer? How many will have to die?” Was a question Bob Marley asked in one of his songs.

Hosea says, “my people are destroyed, because of  lack of knowledge” (Hosea 4:6). Knowledge, my friends is power, without it you are truly lost. A man of knowledge increases strength (Proverbs 24:5), true strength and power comes when we grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and savior,Jesus Christ, to who be the glory both now and forever (2 Peter 3:18). Now let me give you some knowledge from the Creator of the universe: God does not wish for anyone to perish, but that all should come to repentance, and the Lord is not slack concerning His promises (2 Peter 3:9); For God so love the world, that He gave His only begotten son (Jesus), that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not His son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. (John 3:16-17)

Listen folks, Jesus came, took our sins, died, buried, and rose up three days after, so we could be saved, be triumphant, be victorious, what more can we ask for, He proved Himself. Now in a court of law, on earth, all you need is one eyewitness account, for the police, lawyers, judge, and jury to believe, and convict a person. Jesus had over five hundred witnesses (1 Corinthians 15:6), so why aren’t people believing and accepting this fact? Is it too good to be true? If we receive the witnesses of men, then the witnesses of God is greater; for this is the witness of God which He hath testified of His son. He that believeth on the son of God hath the witness in himself; he that believeth not God hath made Him a liar, because he believeth not the record that God gave of His son (1 John 5:9-15).

How and why should we escape? If we neglect such a great salvation which at first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him, God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with diverse miracles and gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to His own will (Hebrews 2:3-4). Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospered (1 John 1:2). VICTIM TO VICTOR

victim Stop searching for the living amongst the dead,why is it God brought you through that mess, that divorce, that state of financial destitution, that heartache, pain, and strife, yet you keeping going back to dig it up or find it. It’s dead leave it alone,after three days, you should be resurrected, and rejuvenated, don’t allow the devil to steal your joy, weeping only endure for a night but joy comes in the morning, its only when you stop weeping and mourning, that joy and peace will enter in. Isn’t  it amazing how we are delivered from our problems, stress, headaches, and as soon as something drastic,or dramatic happens we gorget God, Jesus, His word, and His promises, forget that we are delivered, and set free. Imagine all the promises that God made, then Jesus comes, and put some more on top of it, and we forget. Today,we all should be singing, dancing, its celebration time, because our saviour, and redeemer lives. ‘Up from the grave he arouse,with a mighty triumph over His foes, He arose a victor from the dark domain, and he lives forever with His saints to reign.’

‘O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?                                                        The sting of death is sin;and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God,which giveth us the victory through our lord Jesus Christ.'(1 Corinthians 15:55-57).”How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him”(Hebrews 2:3). This is not a myth,gimmick or a bluff, He is the resurrection, and the life; he that believeth in Him,though he were dead yet shall he live(John 11:25). Jesus is the only way, the truth, and the life, you will not get to God, heaven, or live for ever without going through Jesus,without accepting Jesus, without believing in Jesus (John 3:16,John 6:40,John 14:6,John 8:32). SUFFERING FOR OUR GOOD

There was nothing beautiful or majestic about His appearance, nothing that would stimulate our desire for Him. He was despised and rejected by men, a humanitarian of sorrows, and acquainted with suffering and grief. We turned our backs on Him, and looked the other way when He went by, He was despised and we didn’t care. Yet it was our sins, griefs, and weaknesses He carried; it was our burdens, sorrows, problems that weighed Him down. He knew no sin, but we in ignorance, and stupidity thought it was his own sins, that He was getting punished for, by God.

But He was wounded and crushed for our sins, He was bruised, and beaten for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him; and by His stripes we are healed. Now in the latter days, we are like sheep have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way: your own denominations, your own doctrines, your own philosophy, your own religion, your own church, etc. forgetting that there is one God,(the true and living God) and the Lord laid on Him the iniquities, guilt, and sins of us all. He was oppressed, and afflicted, yet He did not open His mouth, He was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and like a sheep before its shearers is silent, He did not open His mouth (Isaiah 53:2-7).

But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, now crowned with glory and honor, because He suffered death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone, this is an all-inclusive list: Jesus died for the Jews, Greeks, gentiles, whites, blacks, Hispanics, Asians, Japanese, everyone. And it was only right that God, who made everything, and for whom everything was made, should bring all His children to glory, through the suffering of Jesus Christ, God made Jesus the perfect leader, fit enough to bring everyone into salvation, this includes all nationality, color, and creed, no one is left out (Hebrews 2:9-10). So there is no excuse, Christ suffered for the sins of the just, and unjust, that He might bring everyone to God, yes, He was put to death in the flesh, but, made alive by the spirit (1 Peter 3:18). God sent Jesus to make, and show us the way to Him, and guarantee us,everlasting life (John 3:16-17, John  14:6), now the choice is all yours.

Friends, He could have come down off the cross, and saved Himself, but He decided to die just to save us. He took our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness; by whose stripes we are healed(1 Peter 2:24).
