Even though God’s grace and mercies are endless,you are not,and until you accept His offer,or gift of eternal life,you are expendable.God is willing,ready and able to forgive everyone of their sin,it’s such a travesty when people refuse to capitalize on this offer,or deal of a lifetime. Does people have a desire to be saved? Do they even have a clue,what they are being saved from? The choice is everlasting life or everlasting torment in fire and brimstone.What they don’t seem to understand is that,As children of the most High God,we are redeemed through the blood of Jesus,so that we can go boldly before the throne of grace,and obtain mercy,it makes you wonder if folks don’t realize that they need to capitalized or take advantage of His mercy while it’s available. The fact is,because,Jesus died for us,God promises in 1John 1:9 that if we confess our sins,He is faithful,and just to forgive us of our sins,and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Even before Jesus came,God gave us that option,one of my favorites is 2 Chronicles 7:14,”If my people,who are called by my name,shall humble themselves,and pray,and seek my face,and turn from their wicked ways,then I will hear from heaven,and will forgive their sin,and will heal their land”. He even makes it easier for us in Romans 10:9-10,” That if thou confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead,thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness,and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation”. Does people nowadays have a desire to be saved ? 1 Corinthians 6:11 reminds us that,”.. Ye are washed,but ye are sanctified,but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus,and by the Spirit of our God. DURING TRIALS AND TRIBULATION
Who is your first option when you are faced,with trials and tribulation ? Is it your family,friends,or the pastor. Most people wants to know what to do,during trials and tribulation,the answer is simple,seek God. Deuteronomy 4:30-31 says,”When thou are in tribulation,and all things are come upon thee,even in the latter days,if thou turn to the Lord thy God,anf shall be obedient unto His voice. For the Lord thy God is a merciful God,He will not forsake thee,neither destroy thee,nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which He swore unto them”. Did you know that,”Many are the afflictions of the righteous;but the Lord delivereth him out of them all” {Psalms 34:19}. So why would anyone look anywhere else for help ? Is it because,you don’t know Him or have a relationship with Him ? Or don’t you take Him at His word ? What is it that would make you not seek,or tur to God ? Is it unbelief,hopelessness,or just sin. However,the most rewarding and comforting scripture for me is 2 Corinthians 4:15-18,”For all things are for your sakes,that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many may increase{and redound} to the glory of God. For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish,yet the inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction,which is but for a moment,worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory,while we look not at the things which are seen,but at the things which are not seen;for the things which are seen are temporal,but the things which are not seen are eternal”. If you are a christian this should be comforting,and remember what Philippians 4:6-7 “Be anxious for nothing,but in everything,by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving,let your requests be made known unto God,and the peace of God,which passeth all understanding,shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus”. I would rather go to God in prayer,than anyone else in the whole world. LET GOD FIGHT FOR YOU
Do not be afraid,stand still,and see the salvation of the Lord,which He will accomplish for you today…. The Lord will fight for you,and you shall hold your peace {Exodus 14:13-14}.” Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude;for the battle is not yours,but God’s {2 Chronicles 20:15}. When God fights for you,then victory is guaranteed ,and as Romans 16:20 says,”And the God of peace shall bruise satan under your feet shortly..”. When God fights for you,He fights,Psalm 64:7-10 gives us a preview of how God fights,”And God shall shoot at them with an arrow;suddenly shall they be wounded. So they shall their own tongue to fall upon themselves;all that see them shall flee away;and all men shall fear,and shall declare the work of God;for they shall wisely consider concerning His doing. The righteous shall be glad in the Lord,and shall trust in Him;and all the upright in heart shall glory”. However,one of the reasons God fights for us,2 Thessalonians 1: 6-9 says,”Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;and to you who are troubled,rest with us,when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with His mighty angels,in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God,and they obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ; who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord,and from the glory of His power”. Listen to what 2 Corinthians 10:3-6 tells us,”For though we walk in the flesh,we do not war after the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal,but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds,casting down imaginations,and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God,and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;and having in readiness to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled”. For God to fight for you,you must have a relationship with Him,that is holy and righteous,that’s why Psalm 91 says,He that dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.. So here is an opportunity to start a relationship with God through His Son,Jesus. WALKING TO PLEASE GOD
“.. We beseech you,brethren,and exhort you by the Lord Jesus,that as ye received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God,so ye would abound more and more. For ye know what commandments we gave you by the Lord Jesus. For this is the will of God,even your sanctification,that ye should abstain from fornication; That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honor,not in the lust of sensuality (concupiscience),even as the Gentiles (ungodly) who know not God; that no man go beyond and defraud his brother in any matter,because the Lord is the avenger of all such,as we also have forewarned you and testified. For God hath not called us unto uncleanness,but unto holiness. He,therefore,that despiseth,despiseth not man but God,who hath also given unto us His Holy spirit” {1Thessalonians 4:1-8}. Then Romans 12:1-2 says it this way,”I beseech you therefore,brethren,by the mercies of God,that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice,holy,acceptable unto God,which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world,but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind,that ye may prove what is that good,and acceptable,and perfect,will of God”. Finally, Ephesians 5:1-17 gives us a list of things,which I will list a few ,but if you are serious about your walk with God,go and read it all and do likewise,it says,” Be ye,therefore,followers of God,as dear children;and walk in love,as Christ also hath loved us,and hath given Himself for us as an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling savor… For ye were once darkness,but now are ye light in the Lord;walk as children of light. For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth,proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness but,rather,reprove them.. See,then,that ye walk circumspectly,not as fools but as wise. Rrdeeming the time,because the days are evil. Wherefore,be ye not unwise but understanding what the will of the Lord is”. The Bible from Genesis to Revelation teaches us and gives us testimonies of how God wants us to walk and live for Him. FOOLISH OR WISE
The fool says in his heart there is no God. Even though it’s difficult for us to teach a monkey mathematics; yet God will make a donkey talk. “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge;but fools despise wisdom and instructions”according to Proverbs 1:7. Listen to this written fact,”Reprove not a scorner,lest he hates thee;rebuke a wise man,and he will love thee. Give instruction to a wise man,and he will be yet wiser;teach a just man,and he will increase in learning. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom;and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. For by me thy days shall be multiplied,and the years of thy life shall be increased,if though be wise,thou shalt be wise for thyself;but if thou scornest,thou alone shalt bear it. A foolish woman is clamorous;she is simple,and knoweth nothing” (Proverbs 9:8-13). And proverbs 10:21-23 follows up by saying,”The lips of the righteous feed many;but fools die for want of wisdom. The blessing of the Lord,it maketh rich,and He addeth no sorrow with it. It is as sport to a fool to do mischief;but a man of understanding hath wisdom”. Again I must ask; are you wise or foolish? Because,wise people serve,worship,praise,honor,and thank God daily,but fools don’t. Here is some more advice from Proverbs 14:6-12,”A scorner seeketh wisdom,and findeth it not;but knowledge is easy unto him that understandeth. Go from the presence of a foolish man,when thou perceivest not in him the lips of knowledge. The wisdom of the prudent is to understand his way;but the folly of fools is deceit. FOOLS MAKE A MOCK AT SIN;but among the righteous there is favor. The heart knoweth his own bitterness ,and a stranger doth not intermeddle with his joy. The house of the wicked shall be overthrown; but the tabernacle of the upright shall florish. There is a way which seemeth right unto a man,but the end thereof are the ways of death”. Did you get the point,or must I go on? Here,is Ecclesiastes 2:13-16,”Then I saw that wisdom excelleth folly,as far as light excelleth darkness. The wise man’s eyes are in his head;but the fool walketh in darkness;and I myself perceived also that one event happeneth to them all. Then said I in my heart,as it happeneth to the fool,so it happeneth even even to me;and why was I then more wise? Then I said in my heart,that this also is vanity. For there is no remembrance of the wise more than of the fool forever;seeing that which now is in the days to come shall all be forgotten. And how dieth the wise man? As the fool”. So I urge you as Ephesians 5:15-17 says,”See,then,that ye walk circumspectly,not as fools,but as wise, redeeming the time,because the days are evil. Wherefore,be ye not unwise but understanding what the will of the Lord is”. Finally,as I stated in the beginning,quotes from Psalms 14:1 & 53:1-2,”THE FOOL hath said in his heart,there is no God. Corrupt are they,and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good. God look down from heaven upon the children of men,to see if there any that did undetstand,that seek God. Everyone of them is gone back;they are all together become filthy;there is non that doeth good,no not one”. This is one of the many reasons,God had to send Jesus,to make us right,and to show us how to be obedient to God ,Our Creator. There are things in life that must end,in order for better things to come,for example a boyfriend and girlfriend should end,and marriage begins. A best friend should turn into a brother or sister,which if you are christian it’s automatic.The earth as we know it,loaded with sin, must also end,and as John reveals to us in Revelation 21:1″And I saw a new heaven and a new earth;for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away,and there was no more sea”. Be aware folks,”But the end of all things is at hand;be ye therefore,sober-minded,and watch unto prayer… For the time is come that judgement must begin at the house if God;and if it first begin at us,what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? { 1Peter 4:7 &17}. For many walk,of whom I have told you often,and now tell you even weeping,that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ,whose end is destruction,whose God is their belly,and whose glory is in their shame,who mind earthly things.(Philippians 3:18-19).However,Matthew 24:6-14,reveals to us the signs to look for,when the end is near,”And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars;see that ye be not troubled;for all these things must come to pass,but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation,and kingdom against kingdom,and there shall be famines,and pestilences,and earthquakes,in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.. And many false prophets shall arise,and shall deceive many;and because iniquity shall abound,the love if many shall grow cold. But he that shall endure unto the end,the same shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations,and then shall the end come’. Are you ready for the end? “Behold I come quickly,blessed is he that keepeth the words of the prophecy of this book(the Bible) {Revelation 22:7}. Are you ready for the end? SWEETER THAN HONEY
Have you ever tasted honey? It have a distinct taste and it never spoils. Some folks even refer to their significant other as honey,because of the sweet characteristics they portray. However,have you ever experience the sweetness of God’s word. The word of God is an acquired taste,therefore ,if you are operating in the natural state,you will never taste anything,because,it has a distinct heavenly taste that only those who desire it badly,will taste it.King David,in Psalms119: 103 wrote,”How sweet are thy words unto my taste! Yea,sweeter than honey to the mouth”. And in Psalm 34:8,he said,” Oh,taste and see that the Lord is good;blessed is the man who trusts in Him”. Have you tasted and see for yourself? What makes God’s word so sweet is that it satisfies every craving and addictions in your life. When you taste the sweetness of God’s word,it totally transforms you into a better person,which will make you seek Him first,and His Kingdom,so that He can add the things you need. You will study the word to show yourself approved unto God,and never be ashamed. You will want to meditate on His word day,and night,you will want to present your body as a living sacrifice that’s holy and acceptable unto God. You will hate evil,sin and all unrighteous deeds,and above all you will have the urge to go tell it on the mountain,over the hills,and everywhere. However,Psalms 19:7-11 eloquently puts it this way,”The law of the Lord is perfect,converting the soul,the testimony of the Lord is sure,making wise the simple. The statutes of the Lord are right,rejoicing the heart;the commandment of the Lord is pure,enlightening the eyes. The fear of the Lord is clean,enduring forever;the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than gold,yea,than much fine gold;sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. Moreover,by them is thy servant warned;and in keeping of them there is great rewards”. So we see that God’s word is sweet,it’s perfect,it’s sure,it makes you wise,it rejoices the heart,it’s pure,it enlightens the eyes,it’s desiteable than gold,it warns,it converts the soul,and there is a great reward when you keep them. Are you ready to taste it? Jeremiah 15:16 says,”Thy words were found,and I did eat them,and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart,for I am called by thy name,O Lord of hosts”. Hebrews 6:4-6 says,”For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened,and have tasted of the heavenly gift,and were made partakers of the Holy Spirit,and have tasted the good word of God,and the powers of the age to come,if they shall fall away,to renew them again unto repentance,seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh,and put Him to an open shame”.Do you hear that call or feel that pull,then get started by going to the top of this blog,then click on the salvation page,and follow the instructions; then allow the Holy Spirit to lead and guide you on the right path.
What’s Love got to do with it ? EVERYTHING.
Peolpe use the word love lightly. Do you love because of what the person can do for you? or do you love inspite of what the person does and does not do? What people classify as love, and what God says is love is different. God is love, He displays love and He gives love no matter what. It’s only when we need reflect His love, then we inherit His wrath and anger (?)
As children of God, God wants us to display His kind of love to Him and each other because love is of God and everyone that loves is born of God and knows God. If you don’t love then you don’t know God, because God is all about love.
No person on earth can love like how God loves; He proved His love for us by sending His only begotten Son into the world to die for our sins so that we can live through Him. John 3:16-17 and 1 John 4:9-10, along with many other scriptures confirms this. Therefore God is telling us that if we claim to be His child, we should display the characteristics or traits of His unconditional love. Can you? Will you? Don’t let your love grow cold because if iniquity as Matthew 24:12 cautions us,just keep on loving God and your neighbor as yourself. God is still the God of love,no matter what’s happening.Just endure unto the end and you will be saved(Matthew24:13).
PASSING THE TEST
You will never move to the next level,until you pass the test. You can change locations,change jobs,get a new make over,or whatever,you will not go higher until you have passed the test. No one is exempted from the testings of life,not even when you are sleeping with the devil. The school of life is similar to the school system,except the rewards are different. One gives an earthly and self gratification award,that is acceptable to men,while the other gives heavenly rewards that is only given and accepted by God. No one likes the test,even though it develops every aspect of your life. However,to pass every test one has to be devoted,dedicated,and determined otherwise it will be detrimental to your life,health and happiness. As a child of God,or a christian to pass the test,you must be obedient to God’s commands, located in the Bible,from Genesis to Revelation. Even Jesus had to pass the test,and was obedient,In Hebrews 5:8-9 “Though He were a Son,yet learned He obedience by the things which He suffered,and being made perfect,He became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey Him”. You can’t just choose the parts that fits your lifestyle,and ignore the rest;that’s the reason why Jesus told the devil and is telling us the same thing,in Matthew 4:4″It is written,man shall not live by bread alone,but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God”. Therefore,you will never pass the test,and move into your destiny,unless you are willing to be obedient in all aspect of your life. God wasn’t joking when He said in 1Samuel 15:22&23″.. Behold,to obey is better than sacrifice,and to hearken(listen) than the fat of rams. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft,and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry…” So are you obeying all His words,or just the ones that you are comfortable with,the ones that suits you,and neither condemn or convict? Then unfortunately you will not pass the test,and like the children of Israel you will ve stuck in the wilderness of sin,for forty or more years,just complaining and murmuring against God,as we see in Exodus. But,”If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God,and wilt do that which is right in His sight,and will give ear to His commandments,and keep all His statutes,I will put none of these diseases upon thee…” Exodus 15:26. From Genesis to Revelation we see that all God requires is obedience. Are you obedient? Remember,the test is not hard,because you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you(Phil.4:13),and Jesus said,in John 16:33 “In the word ye shall have tribulation (test,etc.);but be of good cheer;I have overcome the world”. And Romans 8 from beginning to end gives us the confidence,faith,hope,and trust in God,because nothing can seperate us from the love if Christ,and we are more than conquerors through Him that loves us,deposit that in the bank of your life,and cash it in everytime the devil comes knocking,he is already defeated by the blood of the Lamb,and by the word of our testimony….1John 5:4″For everyone born of God overcomes the world;This is the victory that has overcome the world,even our faith”. And the best part is in James 1:2-4 &12,do some work find it and read it.Lol.
REMEMBER
How is it that we can always remember the bad things that people do,and never the good. How is it people can remember the Sabbath day to keep it Holy,but forget the commandments. Is this what the psychiatrist call selective memory? Many Christians must suffer with selective memory,because they always remember what the devil tells them to do,and forget what God says to do. God says ,that He will supply all our needs according to His riches in glory through Christ Jesus (Phil.4:19),and the devil tell us it’s the job,so we listen to the devil,till we get fired,and then ask God why. God tells us, in Jeremiah 29:11-13. “For I know the plans I have for you,declares the Lord,plans to prosper you and not to harm you,plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me,and come and pray to me,and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me,when you seek me with all your heart”. So if God tells us this why are we allowing the devil to steal,kill,and destroy the words God spoke. God doesn’t lie,so don’t believe the devils lies,doubts and fears,the Bible says in Romans 10:17″So,then,faith cometh by hearing,and hearing by the word of God”. Did you hear and remember what God said,about supplying your needs,according to His riches in glory,not stock market,investment banking,nor insurance or 401k,He did not say by any earthly means. So when are you going to stand on the promises of Christ your savior. Start believing the word of God. Why can’t we remember God’s word and promises? Is it because,we don’t study to show ourselves approved unto God as 2 Timothy 2:15 suggests,or is it,because we don’t allow the Holy Spirit to work in and through us. Because,Jesus said in John 14:26″But the comforter,who is the Holy Spirit,whom the Father will send in my name,He shall teach you all things,and bring all things to your Remembrance,whatever I have said unto you”. So what’s the excuse? Why the doubts,fears,disbelief,or unbelief,get rid of that junk and meditate on the word as Joshua 1:8 suggest so that you can have good success. Remember, “But without faith it is impossible to please Him;for he that cometh to God must believe that He is,a rewarder of them that diligently seek him” Hebrews 11:6. Whatever,happen to us remembering and believing Psal 27,”The Lord is my Shepherd,I shall not want,If God is your Father,then listen and obey Him,no matter what you are facing. God wants to know,”How long halt ye between two opinions? If the Lord be God,follow him; but if Ba’al,then follow him.1Kings 18:21. “But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God;for it is He who giveth thee power to get wealth,that He may establish His covenant which He swore unto thy fathers,as it is this day”. I could go on and on,but will you get it.
