“THESE SIX THINGS THE LORD HATES, Yes, seven are an abomination to Him: A proud look, A lying tongue, Hands that shed innocent blood, A heart that devises wicked plans, Feet that are swift in running to evil, A false witness who speaks lies, And one who sows discord among brethren.” (Proverbs 6:16-19 NKJV).
“The fear of the Lord is to hate evil; Pride and arrogance and the evil way And the perverse mouth I hate. ” (Proverbs 8:13 NKJV).
“For You, Lord, are most high above all the earth; You are exalted far above all gods. YOU WHO LOVE THE LORD, HATE EVIL! He preserves the souls of His saints; He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked.” (Psalms 97:9-10 NKJV).
“Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.” (1 John 2:15-17 NKJV).
1John 3:17 reminds us to do good.
But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother have need, and shuts up his heart of compassion from him, how dwells the love of God in him?
-The evidence of love is demonstrated in Giving, Caring, Sharing and Compassion.
-Love gives to others at the expense and sacrifice of self.
“So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for GOD LOVES A CHEERFUL GIVER. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.” (II Corinthians 9:7-8 NKJV) . “He who keeps the commandment keeps his soul, But he who is careless of his ways will die. He who has pity on the poor lends to the Lord, And He will pay back what he has given.” (Proverbs 19:16-17 NKJV)
-Lust and hate always seek to get and take from others to satisfy themselves. These kind of individuals always seek to satisfy themselves at the expense of others.
People are to be Loved and not to be Used. Things are to be Used and not to be Loved.
-Beware of those who love things and use people, and especially beware of those who use people to get the things they love.
+++Let the Word of God be the standard for your life.
Blessed you are and blessed you will always be and to God be all the glory. Amen!
“Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, To God our Savior, Who alone is wise, Be glory and majesty, Dominion and power, Both now and forever. Amen.”
[Jude 1:24-25 NKJV].
