THE POWER OF GOD’S WORD

Psalms 119:12, 17-18
Blessed are You, O Lord ! Teach me Your statutes. Deal bountifully with Your servant, That I may live and keep Your word. Open my eyes, that I may see Wondrous things from Your law.

“For the word of God is  living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are  naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must  give account”. {Hebrews 4:12‭-‬13}.

SO:

“Now acquaint yourself with Him, and be at peace; Thereby good will come to you. Receive, please, instruction from His mouth, And lay up His words in your heart. If you return to the Almighty, you will be built up; You will remove iniquity far from your tents. Then you will lay your gold in the dust, And the gold of Ophir among the stones of the brooks. Yes, the Almighty will be your gold And your precious silver; For then you will have your delight in the Almighty, And lift up your face to God. You will make your prayer to Him, He will hear you, And you will pay your vows. You will also declare a thing, And it will be established for you; So light will shine on your ways”. {Job 22:21‭-‬28}.

The Power of God’s Word in us.

1 Thessalonians  2:13    says,

For this cause we also thank God without ceasing, because, when all of you received the Word of God which all of you heard of us, all of you received it not as the word of men, but as it is in TRUTH, the WORD of GOD, which EFFECTUALLY WORKS also in you who BELIEVE.

Effectual: capable of producing all intents and purposes.

(Heb 4:12 AMP)

For the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power making it active, operative, energizing, and effective…

•The WORD of God in us is Alive, Active, Operative, Energizing and Effective. It is capable of producing all the intents and purposes of God  in us and through us.

•When we take man made medication we have no issues expecting the intents and purposes that medication is supposed to produce.

•How much more then shall we expect the Word of God to produce in us the intents and purposes of God in our lives.

•Remember what Jesus said in Matthew 4:4. Man shall not live by bread alone but by every Word proceeds of the Mouth of God.

+++Let the Word of God be the standard for your life. Blessed you are and blessed you will always be and to God be all the glory. Amen!
