SIN IS SEPERATION

Most people don’t realize that, all sins, lead to some sort of separation. From cheating on your spouse, to turning your back on God. However, the consequences are somewhat different, they both lead to divorce, but one leads to eternal death. There was a time years ago, we were doomed forever. Because of our multitude of sins, we used to live just like the rest of the world, full of sin, and obeying satan: who is the spirit at work in the hearts of those who refuse to obey God. We were born with an evil nature, and we were under Gods anger. But God is so rich in mercy, and loves us so much, even while we were doomed because of sin (Ephesians 2:1-4), He found a way to save us, and that’s through His only begotten son Jesus Christ(John 3:16-17, John 6:40,John 14:6). God saved us by His special favor when you believed, and we can’t take credit for anything, it is a gift from God, salvation is not a reward for the good things we did, so no one has any bragging rights. Yes, friends we are Gods masterpiece, who He has created new, through Christ Jesus(Ephesians 2:8-10).

Can you see the devastation, and the destruction we would face, if God didn’t send Jesus Christ. Folks we had no hope, no promise, and no God, and what is sad, is that we didn’t know Him then, and He sent His son to lead, show, tell, and guide us to Him, and people refuse to accept, and believe that God sent Jesus so that we have a way to repent. Imagine, we were separated from God, His hope, and His promises, He sent Jesus, to break down the walls of separation, and become the bridge to bring us closer to our true creator, and people, are refusing Him, seeking someone else, now I understand the meaning of (Hosea 4:6)’my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge’. Why can’t we just, ‘seek the Lord while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts, and return unto the Lord before its too late…our thoughts and ways are not like His, it’s billions of miles apart'(Isaiah 55:6-9). Jesus  broke down the barriers of separation, so we are no longer strangers, aliens, and foreigners, but citizens, sons, daughters, and joint heirs of the promise of eternal life(John 3:16).

I just can’t figure out how some one could refuse, or neglect so great a salvation (Hebrews 2:3). I pray that God, the glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, may give you the spirit of wisdom, and revelation, so that you may know Him better, and the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that, you may know the hope to which He has called you, and you will see the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints, and His incomparably great power, for us who believe, that power is like the working of His mighty strength. (Ephesians 1:17-19).

SPIRITUAL VS CARNAL CHRISTIANS

Spiritual minded Christians versus the carnal minded Christian, they both claim to be Christians, but only one is going to Heaven. The carnal minded Christian has one foot in the church, and the other out, and the foot that’s out is on a wet and slippery road, that will slide them straight to hell.

They fail to realize that,

  • (1) If you love the world, you are an enemy of God (James 4:4).
  • (2) You can’t love the world, the things of the world, and love God (1 John 2:15-16).
  • (3) You can’t serve two masters, it’s impossible to serve them both (Matthew 6:24).
  • (4) A double-minded person is unstable (James 1:8).
  • (5)True Christians are not conformed to this world, but are transformed by the renewing of their minds (Romans 12:2).
  • (6) God says, He knows your works, that you are not hot, or cold, just lukewarm, and He has to spew you out (Revelation 3: 15-16).

It’s time to choose who you are going to serve (Luke 16:13). Now the spiritually minded Christians are so Holy, they get on your nerves, but it’s not wrong they are only following what Gods word says, ‘He chose us before the foundation of the world to be Holy, and without blame before Him, in love’ (Ephesians 1:4, Ephesians 5:27), and we have to be pure, because Our Father is pure (1 John 3:3). But we can’t be too spiritual minded that we are not earthly good, because we still have to show love and compassion like Jesus did; you still have to love your neighbor as yourself. We got saved from the world, so that we can tell someone how good Jesus is once they accept, believe, and trust Him.

Jesus socialized, with people, but He knew who to hang out with, and where to go and not to go. Jesus went to Zacchaeus’ house not just to eat, but to introduce him to salvation, which led to him repenting (Luke 19:5-10). As a believer you can’t be too spiritually minded that you are not earthly good. “See, then, that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time because the days are evil, wherefore be ye not unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is” (Ephesians 5:15-17). But the wisdom that is from above, is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. If you are comfortable around people who are doing wrong or living a lie, then you better put on the belt of truth, and examine your walk with God, because something is not right. GODS PROTECTION

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most high, shall abide under the shadow of the almighty. I will say of the lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him I will trust. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.

He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under His wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Thou shalt not be afraid of the terror by night, nor for the arrow that flieth by day, nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness, nor for the  destruction that wasteth at noonday.

A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand, but it shall not come near thee. Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold, and see the reward of the wicked. Because thou hast made the Lord, who is my refuge, even the most high, thy  habitation, there shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come near thy dwelling.

For He shall give His angels charge over thee in all thy ways.

PRAYERS THAT ARE HEARD

Father in heaven, I come before you today, in the mighty Name of your only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, standing in the gap, and interceding on behalf of my brothers and sisters in Christ, and their families, my family, my friends, associates, and all my internet families, Facebook, twitter, bloggers,etc…, both near and far, all over the globe. I’m seeking forgiveness of all the sinful things we have done, said or even thought in the past, present, and future, even the sins of our deceased generations. Father in 1 John 1:9 it is written, that if we confess our sins, you are faithful, and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Father help us, to walk according to your will and ways that you have planned for us. Father in the Name of Jesus, I exercise the authority, and power you give me in (Luke 10:19) to bind, the devil’s hands off of your people, his sickness, diseases, hate, lack, and everything that is contrary to Your word, in the name of Jesus, and I ask you to loose the Holy Spirit to do what He needs to do in our lives and I loose healing (1 Peter:24), prosperity (Philippians 4:19), and the fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22), in Jesus name, according to (Matthew 18:18). Devil your eviction notice have been served! Now Heavenly Father I thank you for those whom You have healed, delivered, and set free in the Name of Jesus, the name that is above every name (Philippians 2:9-11). Father, Your word says, in John 14:13-14, that whatsoever we shall ask for in Jesus’ Name it will be done, so that our Heavenly Father will be glorified. It is also written, in Numbers 23:19 that God is not a man, that He should lie, or repent, or not do what He says. Then Hebrews 6:18 tells us that it is impossible for God to lie. Also 2 Peter 3:9 tells us that God is not slack concerning His promises. So Father, Your word said it, I believe it, I accept, and receive it, I consider it done, signed, sealed, and delivered in Jesus Name. Amen.

Spirituality

I must confess, I did not get spiritual overnight, but I was always God conscious. Ever since I started going to school to be a minister, the Holy Spirit has opened my eyes to a whole lot of truths and myths, on the spiritual and natural realm or level. I am being educated, edified, anointed, plus a whole lot more to operate in the five fold ministry (teaching, preaching, etc.), and spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to those who are interested and believe in God.

However, I realize that my Heavenly Father has revealed more things to me than ever before, because I am walking in righteousness. It’s an honor and privilege to hear from God, directly through His word, fasting and praying, instead of relying on someone to preach to me or you every Sunday. Being in right standing with God, has allowed God to tell me through the Holy Spirit when I am out of line, or doing something wrong. So if someone else tells me something then it’s just a confirmation of what my Heavenly Father has told me and not a surprise.

Trust me folks it’s not easy, ever since I decided to follow Christ, I have been under heavy attack, but I stand on His word, and Jesus my solid rock, light, and salvation, and the enemy has been falling by the thousands, but they can’t come near me (Psalm 91). Once I abide in Him, He will abide in me (John 15:7). He promises, “Never to leave or forsake me” (Hebrew 13:5; James 1:5). When I hide His word in my heart and meditate on it day and night, this allows me the privilege of casting down every imagination that’s contrary to His word (Psalm 119:11 and 133; Colossians 3:16).

OUR MERCIFUL GOD

Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits, who forgiveth all our iniquities,

who healeth all our diseases,

who redeemeth our life from destruction,

who crowneth us with loving-kindness,

and tender mercies, who satisfieth our mouth with good things, so that our youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

The Lord executeth righteousness, and judgment for all who are oppressed. He made known His ways unto Moses, His acts unto the children of Israel.

The Lord is merciful, and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy. He will not always chide; neither will He keep His anger forever.

He hath not dealt with us after our sins, nor rewarded us according to our iniquities, for as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is His mercy to them that fear Him, as far as the east is from the west, so far hath He removed our transgressions from us.

As a father pities his children, so the Lord pities them that fear Him, for He knoweth our frame; He remembered that we are dust.

As for man his days are like grass; as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth

But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon those who fear Him, and His righteousness unto children’s children, to such as keep His covenant, and to those that remember His commandments to do them. The Lord hath prepared His throne in the heavens, and His kingdom rules over all.

Bless the Lord, ye His angels, that excel in strength, that do His commandments, hearkening unto the voice of His word.

Ye the Lord, all ye His hosts, ye ministers of His, that do His pleasure. Bless the lord, all His works in all places of His dominion; bless the Lord, O my soul (Psalms 103:1-22).

The signs and wonders are taking place, earthquakes, tsunamis, storms, floods, hurricanes are on their way. Wars, murder rates are up, disobedience to parents, then God has rocketed up, you tell me what other signs are you looking and waiting for. Must you die and end up in hell before you realize it. You would be burning, so please don’t delay. God sent Jesus as our passport, ticket, and Saviour. Don’t blow it, by not accepting God’s gift of Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son (John 3:16, John 6:40, John 14:6, John 8:32).

REJECTION

Most of us, if not all of us, hate rejection of any kind. Yet, I just realized that a lot of people, have rejected God’s gift of His Son, Jesus the Christ. By rejecting Jesus they have rejected God’s love, His truth, His word, His lifeline to us, and eternal life with Him, this my friends is a blatant disrespect, disobedience to God and His word. Make no mistake folks, God also exalted Him, and has given Him a name which is above every name. That at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth, and that every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God, the Father (Philippians 2:9-11; Romans 14:4-12).

How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation (Hebrews 2:3). Jesus was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honor, that He, by the grace of God, should taste death for everyone (Hebrews 2:9). For by grace are ye saved through faith; and not of yourselves, it is the gift of God – not of works, lest any man should boast, for we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them (Ephesians 2:4-10).

How is it, when you read the horoscope, you believe what it tells you? How is it the meteorologist tells you the weather and you believe him? Why do you believe and trust the scientists, cosmologists, genealogists, astrologers, doctors, and lawyers yet you find it hard to believe the God who made them all. For, God so loved the world, He gave us his only begotten Son, to save us and show us the way to Him (John 3:16-17, John 6:40, John 14:6)

OUR BIGGEST ENEMY

Devil, I hear you knocking, but you can’t come in.

I must tell you this folks, the devil does not take vacations, but we all wish he did. Sometimes we all could use a break, but we must be sober, and vigilant, because the devil is like a roaring lion, walking around, looking for people to devour (1 Peter 5:8).

Well, if you’ve never been under attack by the devil then you know whose you are? and who your father is ( John 8:44). But, as Christians we don’t worry about the devil, because, “Greater is He, who is in us, than he that is in the world” (1 John 4:4). You must understand, and realize that our faith is the God, who created this universe, which means we are serving the true, and living God; who sent His only begotten Son to save us (John 3:16, John 6:40, Philippians 1:9-11).

Let me break it down to you my friends. Without Faith, it is impossible to please God. For he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11:6). The gift of faith is one of three power gifts, and every believer gets a measure of it (Romans 12:3). Faith my friends, cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17).

Folks, you must understand that your prayers, will not be answered if you don’t believe, or know the only God, who answers prayers.  And, His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, is the only way to God (John 14:6, John 8:32). As I said before, without  faith it is impossible to please God. Now let me explain, what faith is. ”It is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen …it’s through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God (Hebrew 11:1-3). Stay with me, remember, faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Listen to this, “For the word of God is quick, powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul, and spirit, and of the joints, and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Seeing then that we have a great High Priest, who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have not a high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore, come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need (Hebrews 4:12-16).

As a child of God, it’s a privilege to know that, God never slumbers nor sleeps (Psalm 121:3-4), so faith in God allows us to go to sleep (Psalms 3:5-8).

STOP PEDDLING GODS WORD

It really disturbs me to see how many people out there are peddling, selling, or prostituting God’s word for profit, when salvation is free. God sent, His only begotten Son Jesus, as payment for our sins, years ago. So my question is why are you peddling God’s word for financial gain?

2 Corinthians 2:17 tells us, let’s preach or teach the infallible word of God to save souls, not fill your pockets, to satisfy your own needs. I don’t mind donating to your ministry, but don’t tell me, how much to give, that’s God’s job. Trust me, if you are living in righteousness and you are walking with God like Enoch (Genesis 5:21-24) walked with Him, then God will let us know how much to donate to your ministry. Listen, it’s time to stop coaxing people to give $100 and $200 seed, just send the book, DVD or CD then allow God to manifest, and show Himself mighty. The God, I serve tells us in the Bible that, “My God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory through Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19). Now, I must have a different Bible from all these folks, because the Jesus we follow tells us, “And whatever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask anything in My name I will do it” ( John 14:13-14). So why are you pressuring the children of God? We are obedient, we throw our tithes, and offerings, and most of us go the extra mile, and give more. So, what is the problem? Put on the belt of truth, and ask yourself, is personal fame and gain more important than God’s word? Is your request for donations more important than saving souls? Has your faith and trust in God deteriorated so low that you resort to selling His word for profit. Be careful, you don’t want to tell God, how many times you preach, and teach in His name, and He reply, “I NEVER KNEW YOU.”

We better start putting on the belt of truth, it’s better to hurt now, than burn later. We can’t love the things of this world, and love God (James 4:4), we can enjoy them, but not love it to a point it consumes and controls us. Let us decrease, so God can increase, and people can get saved. The only one who can save anyone is God, through Christ Jesus His Son. Do what God called you to do, and leave the rest to Him. “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness, and everything else will be added unto you” (Matthew 6:33).

LETS BE REAL

I am just curious, would a twenty-four year old female, marry an ordinary eighty-four year old man?

What would the media, or society have to say about that? What would be your response, if your daughter or son brought someone home older than you, and say we are getting married?

Now don’t get me wrong, I take my hat off to Mr. Hefner, I could never walk in his shoes, and he is one of a kind. But, if Mr. Hefner was not most women’s dream, of the ideal man to have, or most men’s wish, to be like him, or if he was not  rich, and famous, would a twenty-four year old, marry an ordinary, eighty-four year old man.

Now, I am curious to know, If there are Christian men or women out there who would love to be in this position. Would you really sell your soul? Just like that? Have you forgotten the scripture that says, “Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things are passed away; behold, all things become new, and all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to Himself by Christ Jesus” ( 2 Corinthians 5:17-18). Then, “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world, If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, that my friend, is not of God, but of the world (1 John 2:15-16). The Bible also tells us to, to flee from youthful lusts, but follow righteousness, faith, love, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart (2 Timothy 2:22). I can just imagine a lot of ladies his age are disgusted and crying what a shame, while the older gentlemen, his age saying, go Hef make us proud, we are old, but not cold. But, as Christians, we have to put away childish fantasies, and desires. The Bible tells us, “when we were children, we spoke as a child, understood as a child, thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things (1 Corinthians 13:11). I am just saying, where is the profit or benefit, if you gain the whole world, and lose your soul (Matthew 16:26).

Let’s be real, God sent His only begotten Son to save us; if you will accept Him and believe in Him (John 3:16-17; John 6:40). Listen people, Jesus is the only way to God (John 14:6). It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment (Hebrew 9:27-28).
