WHO CONTROLS YOUR MIND

The enemy is after your mind,because he knows that once he is in control of it,you will self destruct. The mind is a battlefield, and if you allow the enemy to be in charge of it,he will plant seeds of doubt, fear,lies,disbelief, and every negative things,in order to render you useless and unproductive. Allow God to cultivate your more mind.
“The mind is a terrible thing to waste!” is the slogan for the United Negro College Fund. The mind is an intricate part of the body because it has the ability to reason, understand, and perceive many things. Some people like to play mind games with others who they believe are less intellectual than they are but this is a trick from satan. Keep in mind that God does not play mind games. 2 Corinthians 1:20 tells us that, ” for all of God’s promises have been fulfilled in him.That is why we say ‘Amen’ when we give glory to God through Christ”.

In Isaiah 26:3 we read that, “the Lord will keep us in perfect peace, whoevers mind stays on Him(God) because we trust in him”. The Bible also tells us this; rejoice in the Lord always…be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus(Philippians 4:4-7).

The first and greatest commandment, Jesus said, is to love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul and mind (Matthew 22:37-38). Our mind is a constant battlefield between good and evil and the apostle Paul says it best,(NIV)

 “I do not understand what I do, for what I want to do, I do not do, but what I hate I do, and if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good; as it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. But I see another law at work in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within my members, what a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death? Thanks be to God, through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself in my mind am a slave to God’s law, but in the sinful nature a slave to sin.” (Romans 7:15-25)

The King James version says it like this in (v.25),‘with our minds we serve the law of God but with flesh the law of sin’.

We must not allow sin to get into our minds! To prevent that from happening our thoughts should be thinking of Philippians 4:8 which states; ‘We should focus on whatever things are true, noble, just, pure, lovely and of good report. These are the things we should be meditating on or thinking about’. Saints this is how God keeps us in perfect peace, by meditating on his word day and night. Only through his word will we delight ourselves.

Listen children of God, do not let yourself get to the point of losing your mind before you change your mind. God gives us the spirit of a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7), therefore if there is any consolation in Christ, any comfort of love, any fellowship of the spirit, any affection and mercy then ‘fulfill his joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord and of one mind. Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus…’ (Philippians 2:1-11).

EXCHANGE GIFTS WITH THE DEVIL

The best gift for Christmas is never found under a tree, but it was hung on a tree ,shaped like a cross. So this year let’s give the devil back his gifts of the world like : depression, death,or any kind of losses, defeat,stress,cares,etc,and accept the gift of life,love,joy,peace, etc,that God gives through His Son.
This time of the year can be the most challenging for many people, especially if they loss a love one,their jobs,house,or something of value, or it could be an event,occurrence, or tragic situation that’s a constant reminder. But whatever it is there is a solution or an answer for it all. However, let’s set the record straight, you can only overcome death, difficulties, trials tribulations, debts, and every obstacle life has thrown at you, if and when you become a child of God. Why,only then? Because, when you accept Jesus,you exchange your sins,problems, burdens,and everything that keeps you down ,for His peace,joy,and rest,etc.

All it takes is you believing, trusting, obeying and having faith in God. If you can’t believe, trust and obey then you are not going to overcome anything. God never lies as Numbers 23:19 tells us; and He is not slack concerning His promises (2 Peter 3:9). However, He encourages us in Hebrew 10:23 to hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering, for He is faithful that promised.

So to overcome everything I mentioned above you have to believe God’s word and see yourself as His child that has overcome because of Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son. Then stand on all His promises in the God inspired book called the Bible. Get to know your Creator for yourself so that you will know for a fact that, “ye are of God little children and have overcome them (difficulties, trials, tribulations, debts, heartaches, etc) because greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.” Do you know who you believe in and are you persuaded that He is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all you ask our think as 2 Timothy 1:12 and Ephesians 3:20 says?

Jesus warns us in John 16:33 that in the world we will have tribulation, but be of good cheer: I have overcome the world. So if you are not an overcomer you better stop and take a look inside to see if the Holy Spirit is living in you or if your habituous sin is blocking Him from residing in you. No I am not judging you, but if you are children of God, live like it. Revelation 12:10-11,”.. Now is come salvation,and strength,and the Kingdom of Our God,and the power of His Christ;for the accuser of our brethren is cast down,who accused them before our God day and night. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb,and by the word of their testimony ,and they love not their lives unto the death”. We are overcomers,it’s already written.Read what Romans 8:5-19 says. I will quote a few key scriptures, but if you love God and what to overcome go read it all. Seek God for yourself, draw near to Him and He will draw near to you. God’s Holy Spirit will teach you all things, YOU not your pastor or bishop, HE will do it,  if you want Him to. Why settle for second best when He has the best for you.

Romans 8:
5. For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
6. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
7. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God, for it is not subject to the law of God, neither, indeed can it be.
8. So they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
9b. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ he is not of His.
14. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear, but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, “Abba Father”.

Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (2 Corinthians 3:17). The Holy Spirt frees you from bondage of death, doubts, etc. and turns you into an overcomer.

1 John 5:4 For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.
