STOP! DON’T KILL YOUR SELF!

Nothing is that bad, that  warrants you or will make you want to kill your self. There is hope, love, joy, peace, and happiness in store for you, if you want it. God loves you and you are his workmanship created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. God says, He knows the thoughts that He thinks toward you. Which are thoughts of peace, and not evil, to give you an expected end. Then you shall call upon Him and you shall go and pray unto Him, and He will hearken unto you, and you shall seek Him, and find Him, when you search for Him with all your heart  (Jeremiah 29:11-13).

At one time we were without Christ, being  aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers  from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world. But God who is rich in mercy, for His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in sins, hath made us alive together with Christ. In John 3:16, it specifically says, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” Therefore, if you kill yourself , do you really think you will be privy or entitled to God’s promise. But now in Christ Jesus, you who were once far off, are made near by the blood of Christ, therefore we are saved by  God’s love, grace and mercies, and when He raised Jesus from the dead, He raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. That in the ages to come, He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. For by grace are ye saved through faith, and that not of ourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works lest anyone should boast.

Just try Jesus. He is hope for the hopeless, love for the loveless, comfort for the comfortless, joy for the joyless, friend for the friendless, and a whole lot more.

Read Ephesians 2, Jeremiah 29:11-13 and John 3:16.

All the glory, praise and honor be unto God. Heavenly Father I pray that You will look upon those who are suicidal, send your Holy Spirit and Your angels to help them and all that they need help with, to protect them, to let them know that they are loved, of value and are precious in Your sight. Father God I pray that the enemy will not have his way with them. In the name of Jesus I declare that every plan of Satan to steal life by suicide is broken and destroyed. I plead the blood of Jesus over every life and over every mind that has been or is now thinking about suicide. and I speak life into them in the name of Jesus. Father God I pray that these same people will call on the name of Jesus for whosoever calls on the name of Jesus will be saved as is said according to Your word. May they believe on Christ, that He is Your Son, O God, that they may have a renewed life in You and receive the promise of eternal life. Thank You for the many that are saved from suicide and for the many that will be rescued by You from suicide. Thank You God for reaching into their lives and saving them. Thank You for the many that will call on the name of Jesus and be saved. Thank You God for those that will have renewed life and eternal life in You, O God. All things are possible with You Father, there is nothing too hard for You to do. Your word says that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all I ask or think so I thank You and praise You in advance for the mighty work You are doing in the lives of many. Hallelujah, Hallelujah, praise be to the most High God. To the one who alone is all-powerful, all-knowing, and everywhere at once! In Jesus’ name, AMEN!

HOW AM I?

I am bless and not stressed. Empowered and not devoured. Limitless and unlimited. An over-comer, not a succumber. The head and not the tail. A lender and not a borrower. Above and not beneath.  The devil can’t define me because Jesus has refined me. He can’t mess me up because I have been washed by the blood of the Lamb. All because God loves me, and send Jesus to die for me. So I am royalty, because of His majesty…Glory to God.

JESUS’ LAST MESSAGES FROM THE CROSS

About Jesus. No one took His life.

Remember Jesus’ messages in John 10:17-18,

“Therefore my Father loves me, because I lay down my life that I may take it again. No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This command I have received from my Father.”

In John 19:30-37 it reads, “When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, He said, ‘It is finished,’ and He bowed His head and gave up the ghost. Therefore, because it was preparation day, that the bodies should not remain on the cross on the Sabbath (for that Sabbath was a high day), the Jews asked Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away. Then the soldiers came and broke the legs of the first and of the other who was crucified with Him. But when they came to Jesus and saw that He was already dead, they did not break His legs. But one of the soldiers pierced His side with a spear, and immediately blood and water came out…For these things were done that the scripture should be fulfilled, ‘Not one of His bones shall be broken’{Psalms 34:20}.

In Matthew 6:12, Jesus tells us that in order for our debts, to be forgiven we must first forgive our debtors, and in Ephesians 4:30-32 it says,

“And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, by whom ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking, be put away from you with all malice; and be ye kind one to another, tender-hearted, forgiving one another, even as God, for Christ’s sake, hath forgiven you.”

Therefore, on His death bed which happened to be a cross,  Jesus shows us from His example in Luke 23:34  that He practices what He preaches, and He had all the right reasons and causes to hate, but instead He said, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” He could have come down from the cross and saved Himself, but He decided to die, just to save us. He could have called down legions of Angels if He wanted to as He said in Matthew 26:53, “Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and He shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?” Jesus is the most fearless and most powerful man who ever walked the face of this earth, and He chose to forgive, all His enemies and those who harmed Him, and that was His first message to us.

Do you have a heart of compassion that is ready to forgive?

When you consider the condition Jesus was in, it didn’t matter, He was still about His Father’s business, His job was to seek and save those who are lost (Matthew 18:11(within the lost sheep parable; Luke 19:10), His job title or description was not to save the righteous, but sinners to repentance (Luke 5:32), He was not here for one set of people but all, and despite His predicament, He was still saving the lost sheep. In Luke 23:43 you see His compassion on full display, He forgot His agony and helped a repentive thief who asked for mercy, and Jesus’ response was, “Truly, I say to you, Today you will be with me in paradise.” His message to us is that no matter what you are going through, even on your death bed, introduce someone to Him, who doesn’t know about all that He suffered on Calvary for us.

WHEN GOD HAS YOUR BACK

When you know that your God is omnipotent, immutable, unchanging, unfailing and everlasting then you will know that you are undefeated, unstoppable, an overcomer and more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus. When God has your back the things you use to worry about and fear, He takes it away and liberates you from those curses.

To be liberated from the curses of fear, doubt and lack, etc. you must first:

  • Submit to God and resist the devil so that he can flee. Then draw near to God so He can be near to you (James 4:7-8).
  • Second. To get up close and personal you must confess as 1st John 1:9 says. If you confess your sins He is faithful and just to forgive you your sins and cleanse you from all unrighteousness.
  • Third. Cast all our burdens and cares on Him (God) because He cares (1 Peter 5:7; Psalm 55:22).
  • Fourth. God’s word says to present your body to Him and renew your mind (Romans 12:1,2).

For Him to have your back you must renew your mind; stop doing things the old way by depending or trusting on others and depend and trust on Him only. Do this so that you can know without a doubt that He is omnipotent, omnipresent, immutable, infallible, unchanging, unfailing, and everlasting. Then you will be able to walk in righteous undefeated, unstoppable, an overcomer and more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus (Romans 8:37).

CURSE REVERSED

The devil will define and confine you because his job is to steal, kill and destroy you, but Jesus changed all of that by reversing the curse.

“The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” John 10:10

Jesus redeemed and the Holy Spirit has sealed us until the day of redemption. Therefore there is now no more condemnation to those who are in CHRIST JESUS who walk after the Spirit and not the flesh.

“And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.” Ephesians 4:30

“There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit.” Romans 8:1

So present your body as a living sacrifice, that is Holy and acceptable unto God which is your reasonable service and stop being conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.

“I beseech you therefore brethren by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be transformed by the renewing of your mind that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God.” Romans 12:1, 2

Now to Him who is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, to the only wise God our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power both now and forever. Amen. (Jude 24, 25)

DO YOU KNOW OR LOVE HIM?

To know Him, is to love Him, and to love Him requires a relationship with Him. Most people think that they know someone when they have a casual relationship with them, but if you never spend quality time with a person how can you say you know them, or love them. Most people say they love Jesus or God, but the only time they remember Him is on Sunday, they only acknowledge Him when they are in trouble or need something, and they never obey His commands, or keep His word. However, Jesus said in John 14:21 & 23, “He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me; and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him… If a man loves me, he will keep my words; and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.”

What people fail to understand is that just going through the motions of going to church every Sunday or whenever you go, or just singing on the choir, or just serving in some capacity in the church, does not mean that you know God and are guaranteed a trip to eternity or everlasting life. How do I know that? Read it for yourself in Matthew 7:21-23, “Not everyone that saith unto me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter into the kingdom of Heaven, but he that doeth the will of my Father in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? And in thy name have cast out demons? And in thy name done many wonderful works?’ And then will I profess unto them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”

We should all examine ourselves to make sure that we are worshiping, serving and loving God in Spirit and in truth, as John 4:24 says, “God is a Spirit; and they that worship Him, must worship Him in Spirit and in truth.” One of the truths and proofs of our love for God is not to love the world and its things, 1 John 2:15 warns us, “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.”

Where most people have it twisted, and confused, is that God gives us all things, but as 1 Timothy 6:17 says, it is to richly enjoy, not to be worshiped or put before Him. That is why I love Paul’s advise in 1 Corinthians 9:24-27, especially to those who are ministers of the gospel, “Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it; and everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown. Therefore, I run thus: Not with uncertainty. Thus I fight: Not as one who beats the air. But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified.” Another good advise is found in Hebrews 12:14-15, “Follow peace with all men, and Holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord, looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God, lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and by it many be defiled.” However, Jesus, advises us in Matthew 26:41 to, “Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation; the Spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.” 1 Peter 4:7 says, “But the end of all things is at hand, be ye therefore, sober-minded and watch unto prayer.” 1 Peter 5:8 says, “Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary, the devil, like a roaring lion walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.”

Update. I’m Back!

I was out for awhile because the enemy will try to derail, steal, kill and destroy the call on our lives, but fear cannot cripple love, shatter hope, eradicate faith, steal peace, or destroy trust. Fear cannot assasinate friendship, close out memories, shut up courage, or invade the soul, nor can it quench the Spirit, or take our power. Why? Because 2 Timothy 1:7 says, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and a sound mind.”
Luke 10:19 says, “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy; and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”
Thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:57).

Activate your faith not your fear. So that you can move the mountain of anything that’s contrary to God’s word. Matthew 17:20

I’m back and better than before!

JESUS TOOK CARE OF IT

Many times we allow the pressures and problems of life to overwhelm and overcome us, forgetting that Jesus came and bore our griefs, sorrows and every sin that we inherited from Adam’s fall. Therefore, when trouble strikes and disappointments of all kinds come knocking at our door just go to Isaiah 53:5 and tell the enemy that, “Jesus was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him and by His stripes we are healed.” Jesus not only heals us from sickness and disease, He liberates us from the sting of death and the grave, as we see in 1 Corinthians 15:55-57 when He got up on the third day and successfully declared, “O death, where is your sting? O grave, where is your victory?” But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through out Lord Jesus Christ.

Therefore, we must remember that God has established us in Christ, anointed us, sealed us and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts as 2 Corinthians 1:21-22 says. Yes, we have all sinned and fall short of God’s glory, but the good news is we are all justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in His blood, to declare His righteousness for the remission of sins that are past (read Romans 3:23-27).

I have said all that to say, because Jesus bears or took care of it all for us, let us loose the baggage and cares of sin and do as 1 Peter 5:7 tells us to, cast all our cares on the Lord, because He cares for us. Furthermore, Isaiah 53:4 tells us He has borne our grief’s and carried our sorrows, to the cross and He buried or tossed it in the sea of forgetfulness.

Life will never be easy, but we have the advantage because God is on our side, and he promises never to leave us or forsake us, He promises to fight for us to the bitter end.

“Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned, every one, to his own way; and the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.” Isaiah 53:4-6

FOOLISH THINGS MATTER

Brothers and sisters, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before him. 1 Corinthians 1:26-29

VENGEANCE BELONGS TO GOD

It is one of the hardest things to do – forgiving someone that has done nothing but evil to you. As a Christian it is a requirement to forgive in spite of and regardless of how we feel because we have to represent and display the love of God, grace, mercy and compassion that God shows us. That’s why Jesus said, Father forgive them for they know not what they do (Luke 23:34). As a Christian our forgiveness from God is contingent or based on us forgiving others. Matthew 6:9-13 is where Jesus instructs us on how to pray; it is part of our contract with God to forgive.

God does not want His children to be conformed to the tactics of the world, but to be different, be transformed, leave the vengeance to Him, let Him repay the persons who do you harm. Therefore, He is asking us to love without discrimination. In other words, be sincere and not hypocritical, hate evil and do good, be kindly affectionate to each other with brotherly love, in honor give preference to one another, don’t lag in diligence, fervent in Spirit, serving the Lord, rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfast in prayer, distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality. Bless those who persecute you, bless and do not curse. Rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep. Try not to be wise in your own eyes. KEY: Repay no one with evil, provide good and honest things in the sight of men and if it is possible live at peace with everyone. (Read Romans 12:10-21)

 “Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;” Hebrews 12:15

As Hebrew 12:15 tells us we can’t afford to have a, “root of bitterness” instead of righteousness. Revenge captivates us and leads us to sin, but forgiveness liberates us so that we can serve God in spirit and truth.
