“Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you,whosoever shall say unto this mountain,be thou removed,and be thou cast into the sea,and shall not doubt in his heart,but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass,he shall have whatever he saith. Therefore,I say unto you,whatever things ye desire,when ye pray,believe that ye receive them,and ye shall have them”{ Mark 11:22-24}. And this is the confidence that we have in Him,that,if we ask anything according to His will,He heareth us;and if we know that He hears us,whatever we ask,we know that we have the petitions that ee desired of Him,as 1John 5:14-15 tells us. You lust and desire,yet you have not,because you ask not. You ask,and receive not,because ue ask amiss,that ye consume it upon your lusts as James 4:2&3 tells us. However,”Be anxious for nothing,but in everything,by prayer and supplication with Thanksgiving,let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God,which surpasses all understanding,shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus,says Philippians 4:6&7.
UNTIL YOU SAY,I DO. YOU DON’T.
Most people have problems in relationships,because they compromise. However,the folks who love and fear God,will be obedient to His word. Why would you want to jeopardize your relationship with God,and risk the opportunity of going to heaven. The question is what is more important to you,a night of sin,which leads to hell,or as Ephesians 5:27 that you want to be presented as a glorious church,not having spot,or wrinkle,or any such thing;but that it should be holy and without blemish. Why as a christian would you want to go against God’s commands and plans for your life. Why would you relinquish your royalty,to go back in the darkness after He brought you out into His marvelous light as 1Peter 2:9 states. Is having an illegitimate relationship,better than obeying God? Has fornication and adultery better than eternal life? What’s important to you ? Doing what God says,or doing what you feel or want? Is it such a hard choice to love and obey God,or your flesh and it’s lust. So you don’t have sex or children until you say I do in holy matrimony. As Romans 12:1&2 says,”I beseech you therefore brethren by the mercies of God,that you present your bodies as a living sacrifice, that is holy and acceptable unto God,which is your reasonable service;and be not conformed to this world,and be transformed by the renewing of your mind,that ye may prove what is that good,and acceptable,and perfect will of God. It’s not God’s will for you to disobey,muchless sin against Him. When you have a relationship with God,then you will not be so eager to sin against Him, if you don’t know God nor His Son Jesus,whom,He sent to die fir you,then get started by going to the top of this blog,then click on the salvation page,and follow the instructions,then allow the Holy Spirit to lead and direct you. WHAT IS IT,ARE YOU LOOKING FOR?
It’s pathetic ,when people would rather seek google,than seek God. They would rather search the internet than search the scriptures. They prefer to depend on their jobs,as their only source of income,instead of the God who owns the cattle upon a thousand hills as Psalms 50:10 tells us. Have society reach to that level,where they stop believing ? Have they reached to that point,where they settle for less,make no mistake hell is a far less settlement,than eternity. What profit is there if you gain the world and lose your soul,it says in Matthew 16:26. Why is it people always look for answers in the wrong book,or the wrong person. If you have to file your taxes you don’t go to the doctor for help,or if you are sick,you don’t go to an accountant. If you need to learn Spanish,you don’t read a book on French. Yet,God is a doctor,lawyer,accountant, healer,redeemer,and many other things. And His Book, the teaches you everything,in every language,advises you,and help you. “And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures,which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All scripture is given by the inspiration of God,and is profitable for doctrine,for reproof,for correction,for inspiration in righteousness,that the man of God may be perfect,thoroughly furnished unto all good works”{ 2 Timothy 3:15-17}. Why doesn’t people understand the Bible? Because,1 Corinthians 2:14 says,”But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God;for they are foolishness unto him,neither can he know them,because they are spiritually discerned”. GOD WANTS TO FORGIVE YOU
Even though God’s grace and mercies are endless,you are not,and until you accept His offer,or gift of eternal life,you are expendable.God is willing,ready and able to forgive everyone of their sin,it’s such a travesty when people refuse to capitalize on this offer,or deal of a lifetime. Does people have a desire to be saved? Do they even have a clue,what they are being saved from? The choice is everlasting life or everlasting torment in fire and brimstone.What they don’t seem to understand is that,As children of the most High God,we are redeemed through the blood of Jesus,so that we can go boldly before the throne of grace,and obtain mercy,it makes you wonder if folks don’t realize that they need to capitalized or take advantage of His mercy while it’s available. The fact is,because,Jesus died for us,God promises in 1John 1:9 that if we confess our sins,He is faithful,and just to forgive us of our sins,and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Even before Jesus came,God gave us that option,one of my favorites is 2 Chronicles 7:14,”If my people,who are called by my name,shall humble themselves,and pray,and seek my face,and turn from their wicked ways,then I will hear from heaven,and will forgive their sin,and will heal their land”. He even makes it easier for us in Romans 10:9-10,” That if thou confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead,thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness,and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation”. Does people nowadays have a desire to be saved ? 1 Corinthians 6:11 reminds us that,”.. Ye are washed,but ye are sanctified,but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus,and by the Spirit of our God. DURING TRIALS AND TRIBULATION
Who is your first option when you are faced,with trials and tribulation ? Is it your family,friends,or the pastor. Most people wants to know what to do,during trials and tribulation,the answer is simple,seek God. Deuteronomy 4:30-31 says,”When thou are in tribulation,and all things are come upon thee,even in the latter days,if thou turn to the Lord thy God,anf shall be obedient unto His voice. For the Lord thy God is a merciful God,He will not forsake thee,neither destroy thee,nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which He swore unto them”. Did you know that,”Many are the afflictions of the righteous;but the Lord delivereth him out of them all” {Psalms 34:19}. So why would anyone look anywhere else for help ? Is it because,you don’t know Him or have a relationship with Him ? Or don’t you take Him at His word ? What is it that would make you not seek,or tur to God ? Is it unbelief,hopelessness,or just sin. However,the most rewarding and comforting scripture for me is 2 Corinthians 4:15-18,”For all things are for your sakes,that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many may increase{and redound} to the glory of God. For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish,yet the inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction,which is but for a moment,worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory,while we look not at the things which are seen,but at the things which are not seen;for the things which are seen are temporal,but the things which are not seen are eternal”. If you are a christian this should be comforting,and remember what Philippians 4:6-7 “Be anxious for nothing,but in everything,by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving,let your requests be made known unto God,and the peace of God,which passeth all understanding,shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus”. I would rather go to God in prayer,than anyone else in the whole world. LET GOD FIGHT FOR YOU
Do not be afraid,stand still,and see the salvation of the Lord,which He will accomplish for you today…. The Lord will fight for you,and you shall hold your peace {Exodus 14:13-14}.” Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude;for the battle is not yours,but God’s {2 Chronicles 20:15}. When God fights for you,then victory is guaranteed ,and as Romans 16:20 says,”And the God of peace shall bruise satan under your feet shortly..”. When God fights for you,He fights,Psalm 64:7-10 gives us a preview of how God fights,”And God shall shoot at them with an arrow;suddenly shall they be wounded. So they shall their own tongue to fall upon themselves;all that see them shall flee away;and all men shall fear,and shall declare the work of God;for they shall wisely consider concerning His doing. The righteous shall be glad in the Lord,and shall trust in Him;and all the upright in heart shall glory”. However,one of the reasons God fights for us,2 Thessalonians 1: 6-9 says,”Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;and to you who are troubled,rest with us,when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with His mighty angels,in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God,and they obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ; who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord,and from the glory of His power”. Listen to what 2 Corinthians 10:3-6 tells us,”For though we walk in the flesh,we do not war after the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal,but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds,casting down imaginations,and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God,and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;and having in readiness to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled”. For God to fight for you,you must have a relationship with Him,that is holy and righteous,that’s why Psalm 91 says,He that dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.. So here is an opportunity to start a relationship with God through His Son,Jesus. WALKING TO PLEASE GOD
“.. We beseech you,brethren,and exhort you by the Lord Jesus,that as ye received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God,so ye would abound more and more. For ye know what commandments we gave you by the Lord Jesus. For this is the will of God,even your sanctification,that ye should abstain from fornication; That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honor,not in the lust of sensuality (concupiscience),even as the Gentiles (ungodly) who know not God; that no man go beyond and defraud his brother in any matter,because the Lord is the avenger of all such,as we also have forewarned you and testified. For God hath not called us unto uncleanness,but unto holiness. He,therefore,that despiseth,despiseth not man but God,who hath also given unto us His Holy spirit” {1Thessalonians 4:1-8}. Finally, Ephesians 5:1-17 gives us a list of things,which I will list a few ,but if you are serious about your walk with God,go and read it all and do likewise,it says,” Be ye,therefore,followers of God,as dear children;and walk in love,as Christ also hath loved us,and hath given Himself for us as an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling savor… For ye were once darkness,but now are ye light in the Lord;walk as children of light. For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth,proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness but,rather,reprove them.. See,then,that ye walk circumspectly,not as fools but as wise. Rrdeeming the time,because the days are evil. Wherefore,be ye not unwise but understanding what the will of the Lord is”. The Bible from Genesis to Revelation teaches us and gives us testimonies of how God wants us to walk and live for Him. FOOLISH OR WISE
The fool says in his heart there is no God. Even though it’s difficult for us to teach a monkey mathematics; yet God will make a donkey talk. “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge;but fools despise wisdom and instructions”according to Proverbs 1:7. Listen to this written fact,”Reprove not a scorner,lest he hates thee;rebuke a wise man,and he will love thee. Give instruction to a wise man,and he will be yet wiser;teach a just man,and he will increase in learning. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom;and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. For by me thy days shall be multiplied,and the years of thy life shall be increased,if though be wise,thou shalt be wise for thyself;but if thou scornest,thou alone shalt bear it. A foolish woman is clamorous;she is simple,and knoweth nothing” (Proverbs 9:8-13). And proverbs 10:21-23 follows up by saying,”The lips of the righteous feed many;but fools die for want of wisdom. The blessing of the Lord,it maketh rich,and He addeth no sorrow with it. It is as sport to a fool to do mischief;but a man of understanding hath wisdom”. Again I must ask; are you wise or foolish? Because,wise people serve,worship,praise,honor,and thank God daily,but fools don’t. Here is some more advice from Proverbs 14:6-12,”A scorner seeketh wisdom,and findeth it not;but knowledge is easy unto him that understandeth. Go from the presence of a foolish man,when thou perceivest not in him the lips of knowledge. The wisdom of the prudent is to understand his way;but the folly of fools is deceit. FOOLS MAKE A MOCK AT SIN;but among the righteous there is favor. The heart knoweth his own bitterness ,and a stranger doth not intermeddle with his joy. The house of the wicked shall be overthrown; but the tabernacle of the upright shall florish. There is a way which seemeth right unto a man,but the end thereof are the ways of death”. Did you get the point,or must I go on? Here,is Ecclesiastes 2:13-16,”Then I saw that wisdom excelleth folly,as far as light excelleth darkness. The wise man’s eyes are in his head;but the fool walketh in darkness;and I myself perceived also that one event happeneth to them all. Then said I in my heart,as it happeneth to the fool,so it happeneth even even to me;and why was I then more wise? Then I said in my heart,that this also is vanity. For there is no remembrance of the wise more than of the fool forever;seeing that which now is in the days to come shall all be forgotten. And how dieth the wise man? As the fool”. So I urge you as Ephesians 5:15-17 says,”See,then,that ye walk circumspectly,not as fools,but as wise, redeeming the time,because the days are evil. Wherefore,be ye not unwise but understanding what the will of the Lord is”. Finally,as I stated in the beginning,quotes from Psalms 14:1 & 53:1-2,”THE FOOL hath said in his heart,there is no God. Corrupt are they,and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good. God look down from heaven upon the children of men,to see if there any that did undetstand,that seek God. Everyone of them is gone back;they are all together become filthy;there is non that doeth good,no not one”. This is one of the many reasons,God had to send Jesus,to make us right,and to show us how to be obedient to God ,Our Creator. There are things in life that must end,in order for better things to come,for example a boyfriend and girlfriend should end,and marriage begins. A best friend should turn into a brother or sister,which if you are christian it’s automatic.The earth as we know it,loaded with sin, must also end,and as John reveals to us in Revelation 21:1″And I saw a new heaven and a new earth;for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away,and there was no more sea”. Be aware folks,”But the end of all things is at hand;be ye therefore,sober-minded,and watch unto prayer… For the time is come that judgement must begin at the house if God;and if it first begin at us,what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? { 1Peter 4:7 &17}. For many walk,of whom I have told you often,and now tell you even weeping,that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ,whose end is destruction,whose God is their belly,and whose glory is in their shame,who mind earthly things.(Philippians 3:18-19).However,Matthew 24:6-14,reveals to us the signs to look for,when the end is near,”And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars;see that ye be not troubled;for all these things must come to pass,but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation,and kingdom against kingdom,and there shall be famines,and pestilences,and earthquakes,in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.. And many false prophets shall arise,and shall deceive many;and because iniquity shall abound,the love if many shall grow cold. But he that shall endure unto the end,the same shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations,and then shall the end come’. Are you ready for the end? “Behold I come quickly,blessed is he that keepeth the words of the prophecy of this book(the Bible) {Revelation 22:7}. Are you ready for the end? SWEETER THAN HONEY
Have you ever tasted honey? It have a distinct taste and it never spoils. Some folks even refer to their significant other as honey,because of the sweet characteristics they portray. However,have you ever experience the sweetness of God’s word. The word of God is an acquired taste,therefore ,if you are operating in the natural state,you will never taste anything,because,it has a distinct heavenly taste that only those who desire it badly,will taste it.King David,in Psalms119: 103 wrote,”How sweet are thy words unto my taste! Yea,sweeter than honey to the mouth”. And in Psalm 34:8,he said,” Oh,taste and see that the Lord is good;blessed is the man who trusts in Him”. Have you tasted and see for yourself? What makes God’s word so sweet is that it satisfies every craving and addictions in your life. When you taste the sweetness of God’s word,it totally transforms you into a better person,which will make you seek Him first,and His Kingdom,so that He can add the things you need. You will study the word to show yourself approved unto God,and never be ashamed. You will want to meditate on His word day,and night,you will want to present your body as a living sacrifice that’s holy and acceptable unto God. You will hate evil,sin and all unrighteous deeds,and above all you will have the urge to go tell it on the mountain,over the hills,and everywhere. However,Psalms 19:7-11 eloquently puts it this way,”The law of the Lord is perfect,converting the soul,the testimony of the Lord is sure,making wise the simple. The statutes of the Lord are right,rejoicing the heart;the commandment of the Lord is pure,enlightening the eyes. The fear of the Lord is clean,enduring forever;the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than gold,yea,than much fine gold;sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. Moreover,by them is thy servant warned;and in keeping of them there is great rewards”. So we see that God’s word is sweet,it’s perfect,it’s sure,it makes you wise,it rejoices the heart,it’s pure,it enlightens the eyes,it’s desiteable than gold,it warns,it converts the soul,and there is a great reward when you keep them. Are you ready to taste it? Jeremiah 15:16 says,”Thy words were found,and I did eat them,and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart,for I am called by thy name,O Lord of hosts”.
