REPLACEMENT

People often say,’Old habits is hard to die’,that’s just an excuse someone invented so that they don’t have to change their bad habits,However if you replace them with good habits then they will disappear ;When people do not want to change it’s because they become so accustom to doing bad, they refuse to do good.

Just imagine how much better the world would be if we replace hate with love;unrighteousness with righteousness; evil with good, and the devil with Jesus, this will allow you the privilege of knowing the way to God,the truth about God,and the benefit of eternal life, which is affordable only through Jesus Christ, how do I know ? Because the Bible tells me so John 3 :16 and John 14:6.

Imagine if there is a hole in the street big enough to swallow a car, which will result in many accidents, they would quickly fill it with something in order to replace what was missing in order to prevent a catastrophe; Now apply this same principle to your life, and start replacing the people and things that’s dragging you down, that’s holding you back, that’s blocking your path to the only one who can save and redeem you Jesus Christ.

Philippians 4:8 has given us the ultimate replacement of anything that is contrary to Gods word : replace false with truth;filth with purity;ugliness with loveliness;bad report with good report;then the old habits will die, then verse nine tells us to keep putting into practise all you learn ,heard and seen in the bible ,so that the God of peace will be with us.

There is no substitute or replacement for God or His son Jesus Christ, but He is the best person to use to replace everyone and everything, because He comes with rewards, benefits, and promises that He keeps as long as you are His children, would you like to have Him replace your doubt, fears, and everything that’s not right, then accept Gods gift of His only begotten son Jesus Christ, just go to the top of this blog, click on to the salvation page, then follow the instructions.

All glory, praise, honor, and thanks go to God for using me to inform His people.

YOU CAN’T USE GOD

Most people, especially so-called Christians try to use God as a get out of jail free card when they get into trouble, or a get well card when they are sick. This is the reason why most prayers are not answered, and their “wishes” don’t come true. You can’t use God, like you use people, He is God and He sees your heart with its intent. Most people think they are entitled to everything and anything they want because they do the casual things to please God, like going to church, praying and fasting occasionally, and giving tithes and offering.

God have me write this to let you know that you can’t use Him, you can’t fool Him, you can’t buy Him, and you can’t trick Him. He wants you to know that, He knows your works, He knows all about you, what you’re up to and what you are doing and going to do. He knows your plans and thoughts; and you are just a pretender, you are neither hot or cold, and this year He wants you to be one or the other, otherwise He will have to spew you out, or spit or vomit you out, you give Him an upset stomach, indigestion, and the only way to get rid of those symptoms is to puke (Revelation 3: 15-17). Stop trying to use God.

What is amazing about the God we serve is that despite the fact that we try to use Him He still loves us and does want us to perish, and He does not want  to condemn us, He told us that in John 3:16-17, “For God so love the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life; For God did not send His son to into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” Jesus did not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance (Luke 5:32). The next time He comes it will be for the righteous, for those who accept God’s gift of His beloved son Jesus.

John 14:1-6, tells us that Jesus is the way to God, He is the truth, and the life, and a reminder that He went to prepare a place for us better than what we are living in now and that he will come back one day so that we will be where He is. Are you interested? Are you ready or prepared for when Jesus comes?

If you are interested go to the top of this blog, click on to the salvation page, then follow the instructions. In Jesus name may God lead you to a Bible believing, Holy Spirit filled church. For your development and growth follow the leading of the Holy Spirit.

I give God the glory, praise, honor, and thanks for using me to deliver His message.  To the only wise God,who is able to keep us from falling, and to present us faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, to our Savior, the only wise God, who is Immortal and invisible, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and forever, Amen.

ENEMIES OF GOD

Sleeping With The Enemy was a movie title that came out years ago, which is very interesting, because that is exactly what most people are doing today. They eat, sleep, and drink with the enemy, and don’t even realize it. To understand what or who I am talking about we must first identify who our enemy is. Our main enemy is the devil, because his only intentions is to steal our life, kill our joy, and destroy our hopes and dreams of Heaven. His job is to prevent us from serving God which will disqualify us from eternity.

How is he(Satan) our enemy? Well, he does not have a chance of ever making it to heaven and besides preventing us from serving God, his intention is to steal, kill, and destroy all your chances of ever making it to Heaven. The Bible refers to him as a thief in John 10:10. John 10:10 also shows us that God’s only begotten son came that we might have life and have it in abundance. So in a world of choices, who you choose to follow will determine where you will end up. Why do some people keep on following the enemy (satan) who only gives empty promises, that he does not and cannot keep? It is the son of God, JESUS CHRIST, whose promises are fulfilled.

The world is the enemy’s territory to function in until Jesus returns. That is why the Bible tells us not to love the world nor the things of the world, and if anyone loves the world, then the love of God our Father is not in them, for all that is in the world, is the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life (1 John 2:15-16). Those are the tools the enemy uses to trick us into believing that it is good, perfect, and pleasurable, when it’s not, because it is contrary to God’s Word and His will. What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul (Luke 8:36).

Your prayers to God will not be answered if you are an enemy of God, because James 4:1-4  says,

Where do wars and fights come from among you? Do they not come from your desires for pleasure that war in your members? You lust and do not have; you murder and covet and cannot obtain; you fight and war, yet you do not have because you do not ask; You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures; Adulterers and adulteress! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.”

Are you an enemy of God? Now that you know the truth, you can change that today, by allowing Jesus to come and live in your heart. Just go to the top of this blog, click on to the salvation page and follow the instructions. It will be the best thing you ever did.

Now unto Him who is able to keep us from falling and to present us faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, to the only wise God, our Savior, be glory, praise, honor, and thanks for using me to present His message to His children. May He also give you the spiritual necessities to receive His message, and act on it in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Feel like giving up? DON’T

The devil wants you to quit, but don’t. That’s one way he steals, kills, and destroy your hopes and dreams.Giving up is always easy but is it the best thing to do? When the pressures and stresses of life collapse on us most of us feel like throwing in the towel and running or walking away as fast as we can. Unfortunately it’s easier to say that you won’t give up than to actually follow through when the going gets tough. No matter where you go it follows you or new problems develop. Even Jesus reached a point in his life where he didn’t want to go through the devastating things he had to endure. In Mark 14:36 and Luke 22:42 Jesus asked: God if it was possible to take this cup away from Him, nevertheless not His will but God’s be done.

Most of us face difficulties that make us stronger and wiser. Jesus knew the difficulties and he endured it to the end and is now sitting at the right hand of God our Father, interceding on our behalf. When we look at Jesus as our example we see that, because He believed and trusted God His heavenly Father, everything worked out for His good. Jesus kept his mind on God despite the pressures, stress, hate and all the evil that was taking place around Him. People you have to realize four things: Giving up will not make you successful. Giving up will not pay your bills. Giving up will cause more hurt and pain then you realize. Lastly, giving up puts you in the category of losers and gives the devil the victory.

If you need more proof of people, other than Jesus Christ, who succeeded because they never gave up then go with me to Hebrews 11:1-39. It tells you of ordinary people like Abraham, Noah, Joseph, Moses, David and a whole lot of men and women who trusted and had faith in God. Ordinary people that were triumphant, victorious, and successful because they never gave up and they never lost hope, or confidence, in God. Can you imagine being in a den of hungry lions and the lions behaving as though you are one of them and not a tasty meal?(Read Daniel 6:4-27). Can you imagine yourself in a hot fiery furnace that kills those at the door but you, fortunate you, walk in there as though it’s an air-conditioned room and after being in there for a day you walk out with not even a burn? (Read Daniel 3:14-29). After you read these stories how can it be possible for you to give up?

All you need to do is give God a chance to see what he can do for you. I have not and will not mention the things God has done and is doing for me because I will not give the devil satisfaction by having pride festering in me and that’s not what I’m here for. I am here to tell you that God is real and the things He did then He is still doing today. Remember, all these people and myself had to walk in righteousness and holiness before all this could take place. Are you willing to try God today? Are you willing to accept His gift of His beloved Son Jesus? Jesus is the only way to guarantee eternal life. If you don’t believe me then read John 14:6. if you are ready to become a child of God please go to the top of this blog, click on to the salvation page and follow the instructions.
May God grant you the spiritual necessities to take heed and receive His message. May God lead you to the right place to worship Him in spirit and truth, in Jesus’ name. Now, unto He who is able to keep us from falling and he that can present us faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy. To the only wise God, Our Savior, let glory, honor, praise, and thanks be given to you for using me to get your message out to your people. To God be power and dominion, both now and forever more, in Jesus’ name we say Amen.

DO NOT GIVE UP ON GOD BECAUSE HE WILL NEVER GIVE UP ON YOU!

GOOD PEOPLE ARE BLESSED

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding says Proverbs 9:10. Proverbs 1:7 adds that fools despise wisdom and instruction. When we fear God it is to reverence, respect and acknowledge that He is our Father, Creator and God of the universe, therefore, we will not do anything to dishonor or disrespect Him. So we obey Him —praise, worship and thank Him for His instructions in the Bible, teaching us how He wants us to live for Him.

Romans 12:1-2 tells us one of the ways He wants us to live, by presenting our bodies to Him as a living sacrifice that is Holy and acceptable. He does not want us to adopt the world’s standard of life, but to renew our minds to His heavenly standard of living. The more we practice living Holy and righteous the closer we draw to God, our heavenly inheritance, and the sooner we begin enjoying the many benefits we receive on earth before we get to heaven. But there are guidelines and instructions we must follow that God has laid out for us in the Bible. Psalm 112 tells us some of the benefits of fearing, obeying and delighting in the Lord.

Blessed is the man or person who fears the Lord, who delights greatly in His commandments, Psalm 112 informs us. Then Matthew 6:33 tells us to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and He will add whatever we need to survive or get to heaven. Hebrews 11:6 tells us He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. 2 Peter 3:9 reminds us that He is not slack concerning His promises. Which means the problem is in us believing that He is faithful.

Psalm 112 informs us of the benefits of being a child of God walking in righteousness and according to God’s will and plans for us. It’s only when we reverence God and delight in His word that we and our whole family will be blessed. The generation of the upright will be blessed, wealth and riches will be in his house and His righteousness will endure forever. When you walk upright your dark places and circumstances will be illuminated by God’s light, because God is gracious, full of compassion and righteous.

A good man who is Godly and faithful to God will deal graciously and lend, because God made him a lender and not a borrower, because he guides his affairs with discretion, and follows Proverbs 3:5-6 by trusting and acknowledging God and not depending on his own understanding. Therefore as Psalm 112:6-8 says, “he will never be shaken, nor afraid as long as he steadfastly trusts God in his heart, then his heart will be established and fear abolished.

Psalm 84:11 …No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.

HELP

So many people in the world need help; some will cry out or ask for help, while others are too proud to beg. But the big question is who are you crying to, begging or asking? Can they or will they really help you? Is it temporary or permanent? One thing for sure is that the government nor people can’t help you, because they need help themselves. So why waste time, just go directly to the source and supplier of all your needs; Philippians 4:19 tells us who our supplier is. Why wait for everyone else to reject and turn their back on you, when your Heaven Father loves and cares for you, and can do exceedingly and abundantly above what you ask, think or even imagine {Ephesians 3:20}? God will do better than anyone on earth can do, so why not go to Him first.

Why is God your second, third, or last option? He should be your first. He tells us in Proverbs 3:5-6 to trust Him with all our heart, and don’t lean or rely on our own understanding, but to acknowledge Him and He will direct us. It does not get simpler or plainer than that. King David, followed that principle, and wrote, “I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills from whence cometh my help, my help comes from the Lord, who made Heaven and earth.” When you know that the God who made you loves you and promises never to leave or forsake you (Hebrews 13:5), why would you think of looking anywhere else or asking anyone else for what you need? They have to go to Him to get help, inorder to help you anyway.

Most of the time we look to friends and family for help only to be disappointed, but if we reverse our actions and look to God first, we can expect Him to help because, He is our refuge, and strength, plus a very present help in trouble as Psalm 46:1 reminds us. People who cry to God for help get help; like King Asa in 2 Chronicles 14:11, the blind man in Matthew 9:27-30, the Canaanite woman in Matthew 15:25-28, and if you read the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, you will see where God has helped people then; and there is no surprise that He is still doing it today.

I am a proud member of God’s help club, you can be a member as well if you decide to call on Him. Will you call on Him today? Will you call on Him to help you or even to supply your needs?

All glory, honor, praise and thanks go to God for using me to deliver this message. CONFESSION IS GOOD FOR THE SOUL

Growing up I always heard that confession is good for the soul, but most folks just don’t get it or they just don’t understand the burdens, and weight that are lifted off of your shoulders, and liberates the soul, body and spirit. Confession is an admission of all the evil and wrong things you did, against God,to whom we must confess. However, confession is good, because,God says it’s good, and He list the rewards of confession: Let me start with 1 John 1:9 which says ” If we confess our sins,He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness”. Then 2 Chronicles 7:14 says it this way,”If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways;then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin,and will heal their land” . King David,an expert on confession, says this,” I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hidden. I said,I will confess my transgressions unto the Lord, and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin”.(Psalms 32:5). Yes confession is good for the soul, and Proverbs 28:13 warns us,” He that covereth his sins shall not prosper, but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy”. Don’t you want mercy? Don’t you want to be forgiven? God says in Isaiah 43:25,” I,even I,am He that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine iwn sake, and will not remember thy sins”. That’s a deal if a lifetime, then in Isaiah 55:6&7,God says,”Seek ye the Lord while He may be found, call ye upon Him while He is near;let the wicked forsake his way,and the unrighteous man his thoughts;and let him return unto the Lord, and He will have mercy upon him;and to our God,for He will abundantly pardon”. Are you seeing, hearing, and understanding the rewards that comes with God’s forgiveness, doyou want to give them away,or ignore them? When all it takes is confession. Jeremiah 3:13 states,” Only acknowledge thine iniquity, that thou hast transgressed against the Lord thy God,and has scattered thy ways to the strangers under every green tree, and ye have not obeyed my voice, saith the Lord”. Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to the Lord, according to Lamentations 3:40. However,Ezekiel 18:21 says,”But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right,he shall surely live,he shall not die”. God does not lie,and His word is established out of the mouth of two or three witnesses,[2 Corinthians 13:1].Which brings me to Romans 10:9&10 “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness;and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation”. It is so simple ladies, gentlemen, boys and girls,God loves us so much,He gave His only Son as a ransom for us. God did His part, now it’s time for you to do yours. Get started,by going to the top of this blog, click on to the salvation page, follow the instructions, then allow the indwelling Holy Spirit to lead and direct you. MEN PLEASERS OR GOD PLEASERS

Who are you pleasing? Who are you following? Man or God. A decade ago even though there were false prophets around, it was not as obvious and blatant like it is today; which is an indication that we are in the last days, and confirms what is written in 2 Timothy 3:2-4, “For men will be lovers of themselves and money more than God…” The covetous attitude of the world has crept into the church, people seek fame, fortune, and title more than God and His will.

So instead of fulfilling the purpose and objective of their five-fold ministry call to perfect the saints, for the work of the ministry, and edifying the body in truth and love, some have become egotistical bigots, who would prefer to perfect their lives, fill their pockets, and only edify themselves, which is dividing the church, confusing both the believer and the sinner. Thus leading them further away from God instead of unifying everyone.

It is sad when a minister craves the spotlight, covetousness of titles and the willingness to accept false entitlement from people just to gain prestige, fame, and fortune without regards or compassion for the lost, thus becoming men or people pleaser instead of one who seeks to please God . I guess they should go and search the scriptures like the Bereans in Acts 17:11 and see where John the Baptist said that Jesus must increase, and he decrease (John 3:30).

The apostle Paul went a little further by saying in Philippians 1:21 “For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” Then in Philippians 3:7-8 he said, “But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ; Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in Him not having my own righteousness…”

However, Jesus said it best in John 5:41-42, “I do not receive honor from men, but I know you, that you do not have the love of God in your hearts.” Listen folks, there is no story or testimony if God does not or will not get the glory. So having ten titles cannot save you nor others if the love of God is not in you, it is just paper that will burn with you. But when we deny ourselves and take up the cross and follow Jesus, it is then we will see that we have a treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us (2 Corinthians 4:7).

Have the church lost its focus or purpose? Has the church forgotten that we are laborers together with God, you are God’s cultivated field, you are God’s building; according to the grace of God which is given unto us….For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 3:9-11). No one can ever replace Jesus and what He did for us. So lets follow the only one who knows the way, who is the truth, and who guarantees everlasting life and that’s Jesus Christ. Have you met Him? Do you know Him?

If you don’t know God nor His son Jesus Christ whom God sent to take away the sins of the world and redeem mankind to Him, then go to the top of this blog, click on to the salvation page, and follow the instructions. It will be the best decision you ever make, for further studies and information on God’s word allow the Holy Spirit to lead and guide,as you study the Bible. To God be the glory, praise, honor, and thanks for using me to minister to His people, and may He give them spiritual wisdom, knowledge, and understanding to receive what the spirit of the Lord has to say to them, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

PROMISES ACCORDING TO OBEDIENCE

God always keeps His promises. Therefore when we don’t receive what He has promised, it is not because of Him, because He is faithful, it is because of us. But, are we faithful to Him? Do we diligently seek Him? Do we love Him with all our hearts? Does He occupy first place in our lives?

All of God’s promises to us are based on righteousness and holiness. Every successful king, prophet or people of old displays the results of God’s promises as a result of obedience to His word. Why should God be faithful to us if we are not faithful to Him? Yet, this is how the mercy of God is seen; because He is merciful towards us. In 1 Kings 8:31, Solomon’s prayer was that God would hear in heaven and act by judging His servants, condemning the wicked and guilty and justifying the righteous by giving him according to his righteousness. Solomon magnified, glorified, praised and thanked God when he prayed. He stretched and lifted up his hand in acknowledgement to God, our heavenly Father, and said, “Lord God of Israel, there is no God in heaven above or on earth below like You, who keep Your covenant and mercy with Your servants who walk before You with all their hearts.” One of the most important things in life is to recognize and admit who God is. Before you make your request or petition known, it’s important that you know who and where your supplications and prayers are going to. Hopefully, they are going to the God who made the heavens, earth and everything in it and not to the god of this world who is defeated.

In the times of the Bible, the Ark was a sign that God’s presence was with His people. This increased their faith, hope, trust and confidence in God. However, today we are sealed with the Holy Spirit who resides in us (Ephesians 1:13-14). All we have to do is exercise our power, authority and use the keys that Jesus gives us to unlock any door needed to release our faith, hope, trust, belief and confidence in God and His promises. Solomon demonstrates to us that prayer and obedience will allow God to move on our behalf.

YOUR MAKER,OR THE UNDERTAKER

Who do you prefer to meet first, when you have taken your last breath. Your maker or the undertaker;Death is no respecter of persons, and there is no age limit. However,we all have a choice or decision to make before we grasp for that last breath. Will it be everlasting life or eternal damnation. Which is easier walking into church, and putting your life into God’s hands,or being rolled in ,laying in a casket to be demolished in hell, with the devil and his followers. Jesus said in Matthew 16:26-27″For what is a man profited,if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his own soul? For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with His angels, and then He shall reward every man according to his works”. What are your works good or bad ? Then in Matthew 23:33-  “Ye serpents,ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell ? Wherefore, behold,I send unto you prophets, and wise men,and scribes;and some of them ye shall kill and crucify, and some if them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city”. How many people has God sent to talk to you,to lead you on the right path, yet you choose to disobey God. Joshua 24:14&15 says,” Now,therefore, fear the Lord, and serve Him in sincerity and in truth;and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the river, and in Egypt, and serve ye the Lord. And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the river,or the gods of the Armorites,in whose land ye dwell;but as for me and my house,we will serve the Lord”.
