SALVATION IS ONLY THROUGH CHRIST

But if the gospel be hidden, it is from those who are lost. In whom the god of this world (the devil) hath blinded the minds of them who believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them (2 Corinthians 4:3-4). From this scripture we see why some people refuse to accept Jesus Christ as their Savior, who God sent according to John 3:16-17 because of His love for us. Jesus confirms this in John 14:6, He is the way, the truth and the life; no one goes to God except through Him.

What is so hard to believe? Why is it so hard to believe? No other person has done the things that Jesus has done. No one walked and talked like Jesus did. Above all no one ever died on a cross for us except Him. Dont allow your mind to be blinded to the truth of Jesus Christ who is our way out of darkness. Remove the veil the devil has put over your face that Jesus has done away with and receive with meekness the engrafted word which is able to save  your souls, be done with all filthiness and overflowing wickedness as James 1:21 points out.

“What is man, that he should be clean? and he which is born of a woman, that he should be righteous?” Job 15:14

We were all born in sin and shaped in iniquity as we see from  Job 15:14; 25:4, Psalm 51:5, Romans 3:9; 6:23, and Galatians 3:22. So there is no doubt that we are all sinners in need of saving. John 3:16 tells us who God sent to save us, therefore there is no debate or confusion as to who the Savior is. Because of Jesus, we who are dead in trespasses and sins are made alive through Him as Ephesians 2:1-5 says,

“And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins… God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved)”

As Christians we have the privilege of being in the world but we are not of the world; as John 17:16-17 shows us, we are sanctified through God’s word, which is the truth. The truth is we are going to have tribulation in the world but we have to be cheerful because Jesus overcame the world as John 16:33 points out to us and Romans 8:37 tells us that because of Jesus we are more than conquerors.

Therefore if we do as Romans 12:1-2 tells us, we will, as Isaiah 40:31 says, “mount up on wings as eagles, walk and not faint, run and not be weary.” We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. So we should walk circumspectly not as fools, but as wise redeeming the time because the days are evil as Ephesians 5:15 tells us. We should walk with God’s help in His light (Ephesians 5:8), love (Ephesians 5:2), in Spirit (Galatians 5:25), in truth (3 John 4) and in Christ (Colossians 2:6).

How is your walk as a Christian? Why aren’t you following Christ? How shall you escape if you neglect so great a salvation(Heb. 2:3)? So today, if you hear His voice harden not your hearts (Heb. 3:7-12). Receive God’s love through His Son Jesus. Go to the top of this blog tp the salvation page and follow the instructions.

All glory, honor, praise and thanks go to God for using me to deliver this message. I pray that He will give all who read this message the spiritual gifts necessary to comprehend and act upon His word. I exercise my power and authority in the name of Jesus to bind every tactic of the enemy that will try to stop, hinder, or prevent this word from reaching its intended people. I ask the Lord to loose the Holy Spirit and the Heavenly angels to secure this word so that it reaches its intended people, according to Matthew 16:19 and Luke 10:19 in the Omnipotent name of Jesus, Amen.

GIVE IT UP

Would you give up all your earthly possession for Jesus? Would you give up your life for God? Would you with a sincere heart sing the song that says,”you can have the whole world but give me Jesus”. Do you love Jesus enough to give up your house, brand new car, jewelry, family, friends, and associates. Or would you rather gain the whole world and lose your soul,as Matthew 16:26 so eloquently puts it,”For what is a man profited ,if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or,what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?”  Did you know that if you put anything before God it becomes your idol and your god.God has warned us on many occasions not to put anything or anyone before Him. “Thou shalt have no other gods before me.”[Deuteronomy 5:7].  “Ye shall not go after other gods,of the gods of the people who are round about you. (For the Lord thy God is a jealous God among you),lest the anger of the Lord thy God be kindled against thee, and destroy thee from off the face of the earth” {Deuteronomy 6:13-14}. However,James 4:4,puts it this way,”Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whosoever, therefore, will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God”. Then we are warned in 1John 2:15-16 which states,”Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world,if any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life,is not if the Father, but is of the world”. That’s why Joshua boldly told them then,to choose who they will serve, but as for him and his house they will serve the Lord. The question is who do you choose to serve ? The God who owns the world and everything in it,or the god of the world who owns nothing. Are you like the rich man who refuse to give up his possession,or the person who will give it all up knowing that God will give you an hundredfold blessings with persecutions, and in the age to come eternal life,as Mark 10:17-30 promise to us. Please, don’t exchanged the truth of God for a lie,and worshiped and served the creature more than the Cteator, who is blessed forever.Amen.(Romans 1:23). Give it all up for Jesus,He gave it all up for you. He gave up His riches in glory and came down to reclaimed and redeemed us,He gave up His life on the cross to free us and give us eternal life;and here you are, refusing to give up things just for Him. You can change all that now by giving your all to Christ,to get started just go to the top of this blog, click on to the salvation page, and follow the instructions, then allow the Holy Spirit to lead and direct you. Glory to God,Lord let your words reach it’s target, and accomplish what you intended it to, because it will never return void, and Father in the mighty name of Jesus destroy every plan and tactics of the enemy that tries to stop or prevent your words from reaching the hearts and minds of your people who are called by your name, thank you Abba Father in Jesus Christ name I pray.Amen.

WAITING JOYFULLY WITH EXPECTATIONS

One of the hardest thing to do for most folks is to wait for something or someone. But waiting has it’s highs and lows, but it depends on what you are waiting for. However,no matter what you are waiting for;Waiting should always be joyful, pleasurable, and full of high hopes and expectations. For example waiting for a child to be born after waiting for seven to nine months or simply waiting for a paycheck at the end of the week. So why is it so hard to wait on God when His promises are surer than a baby being born or a paycheck at the end of a week or two or monthly. 2 Peter 3:9 tells us that, “God is not slack concerning His promises, as some men count slackness, but is longsuffering towards us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” Is it because of unbelief why some of us find it hard to wait on God?

To some people waiting is pleasurable, while to others it is disastrous, because of lack of patience, faith, hope, and unbelief. Are these the reasons why folks are giving up on the return of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. As believers we should never fall in this category because Isaiah 40:31 tells us, “But those who wait on the Lord, shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.” So what is your problem?  Who are you looking at?  Who are you looking to?  Who is your supplier?  It better be God, because it tells us in Philippians 4:19 that God is our supplier.

David’s testimony of waiting should encourage us; “wait on the Lord,be if good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart;wait ,I say,in the Lord” {Psalms 27:14}. Then in Psalm 40:1-5  he said, “I waited patiently for the Lord, and He inclined or turned unto me, and heard my cry; He brought me up also out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings, and He hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God, many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the Lord.” So instead of murmuring, complaining, and trying to find your own way out, we should be praising and rejoicing while waiting. Singing to God brings faster results, don’t allow the devil to steal your song, sing to the glory of God!

Why is it so hard for you to wait for Jesus’ return? Is it because sin is enticing you or compelling you in the wrong direction. If you had a taste of the devils world you know it’s too sweet to be true, because it’s temporary, and above all it leads to destruction. Jesus said  in John 14:1-3, “Let not your heart be troubled, you believe in God believe also in Me; in my Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you, I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto Myself; That where I am there you will be also.” So why do you have a problem waiting, that’s a God-given promise, just like when He came to save and redeem us. Don’t give up on God and He will not give up on you.

“Blessed is the man who maketh the Lord his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.” -Psalms 40:5

To Him be dominion and power, both now and for ever, in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

FIGHTING TEMPTATIONS

Temptation is solicitation to do evil or being enticed to do wrong. Why is it so difficult to resist or fight temptations? Because the devil makes it so sweet, enticing, and irresistible, but in spite of all that .You know the difference between right and wrong? You know that when you succumb to it, that it is wrong, yet you boldly go ahead with no love, respect, regard or reverence for God. Did you know that, “Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love Him. Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God; for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man; But every man is tempted when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin; and sin when it is finished, bringeth forth death.” – James 1:12-15  Remember that the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God leads to eternal life through Jesus Christ, this we see in Romans 6:23.

To fight temptations there are a few things we must do, first we do as David said in Psalms 119:9-11, “How can a person keep his way pure? By living according to your word, with my whole heart I have sought you; Oh let me not wonder from your commandments; Thy word have I hidden in my heart that I might not sin against thee.”  Second, is Romans 12:1-2, “Present your bodies as a living sacrifice unto God, which is your reasonable service; and to not be conformed to this world, but be ye transformed, by the renewing of your mind.” Thirdly, we need to “Cast down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. “ – 2 Corinthians 10:5 Remember God does not entice or encourage anyone to do wrong, so you know it’s the devil, and you don’t need a degree to figure that one out.

One thing for sure is that, “No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; But God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.” – 1 Corinthians 10:13 If you take the escape hatch God gave you then, you will be liberated, and you will not fall to the enemies tactics and devises to bring you down. The fifth thing you must know is that if you, “Submit yourselves, therefore, to God; Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you, cleanse your hands, ye sinners, and purify your hearts, ye double-minded.” – James 4:7-8 We have no excuses to fall into temptation, because Jesus made us more than conquerors, and He defeated the devils attempts to lead him into temptation by quoting the scriptures and letting him know what the written word says and means (Luke 4:1-12). Also in Luke 10:19, Jesus gave us the power and authority to tread upon serpents, scorpions, and all the power of the enemy. So there is no excuse.

For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are yet without sin; So let us come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need (Hebrews 4:15-16). God says, “Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth; Behold I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown.” – Revelation 3:10-11 One of my favorites was what He told Paul in 2 Corinthians 12:9, “…’My grace is sufficient for you, for my strength is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore, most gladly I would rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” Then Psalm 91:1 tells us that, “He who dwells in the secret place of the most high, shall abide under the shadow or the almighty…” That’s just a few of ways to fight temptation, the Bible is full of many other  ways, it is your duty to find them and be a overcomer.

You will have difficulties fighting temptations if you are not a child of God, and sold out to Jesus all the way, because Jesus is our perfect example. Jesus did it so we can do it also. Once you are in a relationship with God through Jesus Christ you will overcome anything, why don’t you give Him a chance today by going to the top of this blog, clicking on to the salvation page, then following the instructions. It will be the best decision you ever make. God’s word is the best weapon to use, that’s why Jesus used it, spoke it, and was victorious.

COMFORT IN PROMISES

People like to say that a promise is a comfort to a fool, but the question is, who is making the promise? And the only way you would be a fool is if you say there is no God. However, the fact of the matter is that God never lies; Numbers 23:19-20 and Hebrews 6:18 tells us this. But the best part that gives us blessed assurance is 2 Peter 3:9 which says that God is not slack concerning His promises. 2 Corinthians 1:2 tells us that all His promises are yea, and in Him, amen.

One of the greatest promises Jesus made to us is located in John 14 where he started out by assuring us not to be troubled in our hearts, but if we trust God, we should trust in Him, and in God’s house are many mansions and He has gone to prepare or construct it so that we would love it. And that one day He will come and get us to go and really enjoy the finer and best things in life. Like eternal life; which includes no sickness diseases or death.

In John 14:6 Jesus assured us that He is the only way, the truth and the life, and no one can go to God without going through Him. And in 1 Timothy 2:5 we are told without a shadow of doubt that there is only one mediator between God and man and that is Jesus Christ, who is His blessed Son that He is pleased with as we read in Luke 3:22 and John 3:16-17. Make no mistake that Jesus and God’s word in the Bible are our blessed assurance that there is a God and He loves us.

Jesus didn’t just self-appoint Himself as the ultimate way, truth, life and access to God. He proved it by dying on the cross; and God resurrecting Him and became the one and only divine ultimate sacrifice for our sins as Hebrews 10:12 says.

False prophets will take us for a ride around the world, but Jesus will take us to the final destination called heaven. Which ride are you on, the heavenly or earthly ride?

False prophets will take you for a joy ride filled with false and unfulfilled promises, but Jesus will take you to the promise land where your joy will be complete.

KNOW THE TRUTH,AND Walk In Truth

People fail to understand,or refuse to accept the principles of Godly living, which is written and demonstrated in the Holy Bible. The Ten Commandments God’s rules and regulations for His children. The truth about how our heavenly Father, the Creator of heaven and earth, expects us to act, behave and live is in the Bible. Many people in the Bible have testified and proven that obedience to God and His statutes is conducive to prosperity of the mind, soul, body, and spirit. It is because of obedience we are rewarded with Godly, good and perfect gifts. 3 John verse 2 tells us that it is God’s desire above all things that we are prosperous and in health in everything we do, just as our soul prospers. Once we accept His perfect gifts of His Son Jesus, His love, mercy, grace, and compassion that never fails and is always available to us, then our soul becomes prosperous. He wants every aspect or part of our lives to be the same ─ prosperous.

God wants us to take care of His five fold ministers financially and otherwise when they are passing through preaching and teaching the message of God’s truth about His Son Jesus Christ and all He did so that we can be in right standing and live righteously in spirit and truth.

We Christians are displays and examples of the truth. We represent Jesus in our way of life, because He shows us the way, tells us the truth and gives us eternal life. So just as we have found the way through Jesus, we know the truth about Jesus and we have everlasting life through Jesus, which gives us the right to go boldly before the throne of grace to obtain mercy and grace. Knowing Jesus ensures that all of our needs will be met according to God’s riches in glory through Christ Jesus.

We have to tell everyone that it’s all about Jesus. Even for those who go through Him to get their prayers answered and their needs met —  it’s about Jesus. You can also be cleansed by His blood through His salvation; it’s free and all are welcome to become children of God regardless of nationality or past deeds.

3 John 11 tells us not to imitate or let bad examples influence us, but to follow and do only good. “Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God.” This is so that when people speak about you they talk of God’s favor on your life through His Son Jesus. Paul says in  first Corinthians 11 verse 1, “follow me as I follow Christ.” Therefore, if your leader, pastor, bishop, etc. is not following Christ, don’t follow them.

Light dominates darkness, good always conquers evil, and salt always adds flavor.

PROOF

It’s amazing that no matter what God does people are still searching for proof of His existence, power and might. These are the same people who choose to increase their doubt instead of increasing their faith, they develop their trust and confidence in people and things instead of the God who knows them. Even some Christians or so-called Christians fall into that category; Thomas in John 20:25 was one of those that needed additional proof.

However, you choose to look at this, Jesus said in John 20:29 said, “…Because thou hast seen me, thou has believed: Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” With all the miraculous and supernatural things God has done, with all the signs and wonders, and for the many times He has delivered us from the clutches of the enemy what kind of proof, sign or wonder are you still looking for? Just think back and see that He has covered and protected you from before you were born and He laid out the plans for your life. God sent His only begotten Son to show us the way, point out the truth about Him and grant us eternal life, yet you are still searching?

Do you know where you are going if you should die today? Have you looked in the mirror of your life and seen where you are coming from and where you are going? If you like what your reflection is showing you and where you are going, then happy are you because the decision on how you live your life is all yours. I pray that what you see and like is in-line with what God has planned for you before you were born. Otherwise, you are going in the wrong direction; if it does not line up with God’s plan then it is lined up with the devils plan, which will lead to hell.

God is still performing miracles today through the Christians who follow Jesus His Son and through those who use Jesus’ name according to God’s will. Jesus’ name is above every other name; it can heal, deliver and set free those who are in bondage so that  the unbeliever can be brought or ushered into the Kingdom of God. That’s why we give God the glory, praise, honor and thanks at all times, because He is all-powerful.

Some events in life causes us to change; either to increase our faith or deplete it. However, no matter what the circumstance we know that our loving and merciful God is the same yesterday, today and forever. So, doubt your doubts by starving it and believe your beliefs by feeding it.

God will show you proof when you ask for it, but be careful you may or may not like it. Remember, that all good and perfect gifts come from our heavenly Father. Jesus, His Son, is the only proof you need to know that He exists and that His promises are true.  Therefore, is no need to harbor the fugitive called doubt in our minds. We must know that God never fails.

The offer to receive Christ into your heart is here. To receive that offer go to the Salvation page at the top of this blog and follow the instructions. If you have turned away from God, He is waiting for you to turn back to Him. Why not rededicate yourself to Him? The next step is yours.

WHO AND WHAT ARE YOU?

There are all kinds of people in the world, good, bad, evil, righteous, hateful, loving. So who are you,and what category do you fall under? What do you think about you,in comparison to what people say or think? However, the most important thing in life,is to know who God says you are,and what He says about you is what counts. Are you a person with a depraved mind? This is how the Bible describes a depraved mind, check and see if you are included or excluded?

“Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves; who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever, Amen. For this reason God gave them up to vile passions, for even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men leaving the natural use of the women, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased or depraved mind, to do those things which are not fitting; being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness, full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness, they are whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful, who knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only to do the same but also approve of those who practice them.” – Romans 1:24 – 32 Does this describe you? Then you will not escape the judgement that is to come, unless you turn from all this.

However 2 Timothy 3:1 – 9 puts it like this,

“But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come; For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despiser of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of Godliness but denying its power, and from such turn away. For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Now as Jannes and Jambres resisted Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, disapproved concerning the faith. But they will progress no further, for their folly will be manifest to all, as theirs also was.”

These are not my words, it is the Word of God, taken from the book of all books, the Holy Bible. So, if again this describes you it’s time for you to change your life, so you can have everlasting life, through God’s only begotten Son Jesus Christ, and be heaven bound instead of hell bound. Allow God through the Holy Spirit to change who you are,and who others say you are? Be one of the chosen, where you will be the apple ih God’s eyes, and your name inscribe in the palm of His hands, and the book of life. Know who God says you are.

JUST ASK ,then give thanks while you wait

Most of us don’t receive anything because we don’t ask. Matthew 7:7 and Luke 11:9 tells us to ask and it shall be given. However, it’s how you ask and who you ask and what name you use. How you ask is based on your faith and trust in God that He can do as Ephesians 3:20 tells us, “Exceedingly and abundantly above all we ask or think.” Who you ask is important, if you ask God who is the supplier of all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus as Philippians 4:19 suggests then you will get what you ask for. The third factor is whose name did you use. The name which is above every name, Jesus. He gave us permission to use His name in John 14:13 and John 15:16.

However, the key to asking and receiving have a whole lot to do with your relationship with God. A relationship where you are obedient to His Word, by presenting yourself to Him holy and acceptable, by not being conformed to this world but transformed by the renewing of your mind as Rom. 12:1-2 tells us. We see in 1 John 3:22 it says, “And whatsoever we ask, we receive from Him because we keep His commandments and do the things that are pleasing in His sight,” and verse 23 tells us one of the commandment is to believe on the name of Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son, and love one another. This is the way to ask and receive.

Are you confident when you ask, because 1 John 5:14-15 tells us that if we are confident that God hears us and will answer our prayer request according to His will, then we know without a doubt that our request will be granted. In Mark 10:47-52 we see the confidence of the blind man named Bartemaeus, he heard Jesus was passing by and cried out to Jesus. The most amazing thing is that He was not conformed to the world by allowing them to shut him up while he was asking for help loudly and he did not stop asking until he received what he asked for—sight to see. Because of his faith and determination to be healed on that day, he received his healing and as verse 52 tells us after he was healed, he followed Jesus.

Sadly enough why some people get healed and later, get sick again is because they forget about Jesus after they were delivered. You can’t make a promise to God and break it. Suppose He was to break His promises to us? Don’t promise to serve Him while you are in pain or your mess, and when He delivers you, you turn your back on Him as if, He is nobody. The most important ,yet difficult thing to do after you ask,is to give thanks and wait,as Philippians 4:6-8 “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything,by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your request be made known unto God. And the peace if God,which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, wherever things are honest, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report,if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things”. The problem with most people is that they look at the problems and not their God,or they think on their problems and not His promises in the Bible. However,we must renew our minds as Romans 12:2 suggests. Are you ready to renew your mind, and trust God as Proverbs 3:5-6 suggest for us to trust God,acknowledge God,and don’t lean on our own understanding, and allow Him to direct our path.

PLEASING GOD

Our priority and aim in life should be to please God.when we are willing, ready and able to obey men and not God,who is the creator of the universe and everything in it,as Psalms 24 points out to us,then our priority should be to please God. Why is it so hard for us to want to please God? When you read Ephesians 6:5-9, you would probably love the opportunity to debate about it, but God is trying to show us that if we can’t be obedient to the people who have authority over us, because of wealth or position, then how are we going to be obedient to Him who owns the persons over us and everything and everyone from earth to heaven.

If we only work hard to please our employers (or those who have authority over us) when they are watching, then are you only holy and righteous when the Pastor or another Christian is watching while behind closed doors you are a tyrant. This is what eye service and men pleasing is about. The false prophets and fake Christians who fail to realize that God never slumbers or sleep, and  that He is an omnipresent and omniscient God who is everywhere, forget that He can see their thoughts, motives, and intentions. Nothing can be hidden from God.

When you wear the name or carry the title of a Christian do it in Spirit and in truth; you praise, glorify, honor and thank Him whether someone is watching or not because He is worthy of all the praise, glory, honor, and thanks. God never looks at outward appearances like men, but He looks directly into the heart as 1 Samuel 16 verse 7 tells us. Jesus said it best in Matthew 23:27-28, “Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because outwardly you appear beautiful but inwardly you are dead and unclean…”

It’s time to do everything to the glory of God and stop being hypocrites — worship God in Spirit and truth. As Paul tells us, remember that whatever we do we are doing it for God so do it with enthusiasm and God will reward us. When we do our best and give a hundred percent effort it is evidence of our devotion to God.

  • Whatever you do in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by Him. Colossians 3:17
  • Whether you eat or drink, whatever you do, do all to the glory of God (1 Corinthians 10:31). I always say, “If God doesn’t get the glory, you have no story, testimony or message.
  • Colossians 3:23 And whatever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men.
