A TRUST ISSUE

Who can you trust? We trust people, yes we are guilty of this, that we don’t know or have a relationship with. For example; we trust a lawyer to represents us in a court room, whether we are guilty or innocent. We trust a doctor with our lives in the operating room. We trust an anesthesiologist to administer anesthesia so we do not feel any pain. We trust celebrities when they advertise products that they themselves don’t use or wear. We trust meteorologists to give us an accurate reading of the weather, and yes they have gotten it wrong on numerous occasions. We listen attentively to the advise and suggestions of doctors, lawyers, family, friends and having the nerve to comply to what they tell us. We must realize that the hopes we have of waking up after surgery is not up to the doctors or anesthesiologist but up to God. We go to sleep and once again fail to realize that it is not up to us to wake up but up to the being that has that decision in his hands, God, the creator of everything.

Help me understand why it is so hard for people to trust God? Why it is so easy for so many people to refuse God’s ultimate gift of His only begotten son Jesus Christ? What has He done or said that is wrong? If you believe that he has done something wrong, explain yourself and please do not blame him for outcomes that you yourself could have prevented. Yes, I will agree that Jesus did a lot of miraculous and impossible things but that was to show us who He was and who He represented at the time (God the Father). What is it that makes people choose to trust, believe and accept ordinary folks advise and commands but not the son of the lord (Jesus).

Jesus has told us why He came and what His purpose was. His task was never easy, His sacrifice beyond measure, His love limitless, His compassion endless and His divine authenticity was proven in the old as well as the new testament. So what is the problem? Who has a better offer or promise of eternal life? Who is willing to suffer and die so we could be free?

In John 14:1-7, He informs us that, “He is the way to God, the truth about God and the only One who can give eternal life.” He also tells us that “He has gone to prepare a place for us, where we will be with Him, where there are no aches, pains or devastations.”

 The question I must ask is are you prepared to receive Him? Are you ready for paradise? Are you practicing daily to live there in holiness, truth, purity, love and trust? Do you seek him first on a daily basis according to Matthew 6:33? Does your lifestyle tell or show the world who and whose you are? Deny yourself with the lust of this world and follow Jesus, the being who will make it right.

I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him. And that the eyes of your understanding will be enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, and what the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power (Ephesians 1:17-19).

DO YOU BELIEVE

All things are possible, if we only believe. “Verily I say unto you, if you have faith, and doubt not… And all things, whatever you shall ask in prayer, believing, you shall receive” [Matthew 21:21-22]. “BE NOT AFRAID,ONLY BELIEVE” (Mark 5:36b).The Lord said unto Moses, How long will this people provoke Me? And how long will it be before they believe Me, for all the signs which I have shown among them? (Numbers 14:11).

I wonder if God is up there asking the same question about us today. In 2 Chronicles 20:20b it says, “…believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established; believe His prophets, so shall ye prosper.” However, He also tells us in Ephesians 5:15-16 to see that we walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. This is to let us be aware of false prophets who will try to take advantage of us; so make sure what the prophet is saying is a confirmation from God regarding what He has already spoken to us.

Jesus said unto the centurion in Matthew 8:13, “Go thy way, and as thou hast believed, so it be done unto thee.” Proverbs 14:15 says, the simple believes every word, but the prudent man looketh well to his going. Is this the reason why so many refuse to accept Jesus. When Romans 10:9-11 clearly says, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved; For with the heart man believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, whosoever believeth on Him shall not be ashamed.”

Unbelief kills and belief will cure. Unbelief in Christ is of the devil, because he does not want you to trample over him, as Jesus gives you the power to do so in Luke 10:19; the devil wants you to perish because of lack of knowledge. Tell satan to get behind you, for he savorest not the things of God, but of man as Matthew 16:23 says. Start believing God for your miracle and whatever you are praying for. In 2 Timothy1:12 it says,”..Nevertheless,I am not ashamed ,for I know whom I have believe and am persuaded that He is able to keep that which I have commited unto Him against that day”.

Believing is simple and easy when you accept and trust Jesus because He is the author and finisher of your faith, as Hebrews 12:2 tells us. Jesus said to her,”Did I not say to you, that if you would believe, you would see the glory of God (John 11:40.”

CONFIDENCE IS BUILT

Confidence in yourself and confidence in God is totally different, because self confidence is denying the existence and presence of God’s help;when Jesus tells us in John 15:5 that without Him you can do nothing. When God delivers you out of and from a trial or tribulation it boost your confidence in Him,and you can boast like David ,and boldly declare” Many are the afflictions of the righteous;but the Lord delivers him out of them all “{Psalms 34:19}. However, if you think or believe that God never did anything for you,then you have flushed your confidence down the toilet, along with your hope,trust,and faith in God,who never fails,and who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think…, as Ephesians 3:20 tells us.

“And this is the confidence that we have in Him,that,if we ask anything according to His will,He heareth us,and if we know that He hear us,whatever we ask,we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him”{1John 5:14-15}.
Confidence is something you build, the more success you have, the greater your level of confidence, and the greater your level of confidence the more faith you develop,the more faith you develop the greater your trust in God,the greater your trust in God the higher your hopes are. Confidence then is belief, faith, hope and trust in the God of the universe who owns and controls everything. Therefore if you put your trust and confidence in man instead of God, you are guaranteed to fail. Psalm 118:8 tell us that, “It is better to trust in the Lord, than to put confidence in man,” neither should you put your confidence, hope, trust or faith  in your job, education, or anyone but God, that is why Proverbs 3:26 tells us that the Lord should be our confidence.

Most of us face different kinds of trials, tribulation, and temptations daily, however, as Christians we have confidence and trust in God, who is able to keep us from falling ,and to present us faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy (Jude 24). We should also remember that 1 Corinthians 10:13 also tells us that, “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man; But God is faithful, who will not permit you to be tempted above that ye are able, but will with the temptation, also make the way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.” So there is no excuse not to be confident, because God does not lie, and it is impossible for Him to lie according to Numbers 23:19 and Hebrews 6:18. Furthermore He is not slack concerning His promises, 2 Peter 3:9 confirms that.

Is your confidence shaken, because of a lack of trust, faith and hope or is it because of unbelief in the God who owns and controls the universe. How many times does God have to tell us to cast our burdens and cares upon Him? Allow me to share a few with you, Psalms 55:22 says, “Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and He shall sustain thee; He shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.” and  1 Peter 5:7  says, “Casting all your care upon Him; for He careth for you.” There it is confirmation from the old testament and the other from the new testament. Now what is your excuse? God promised us a Messiah and sent His only begotten son Jesus Christ (John 3:16-17). He promised never to leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). He  promised us a comforter and sent the Holy spirit (John 14:16-26). So why do you lack confidence?

Do not allow your confidence, faith, hope and trust to diminish, instead allow your fears and doubts to decrease. Fear is a spirit that is not of God, in 2 Timothy 1:7, we read, “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” Don’t allow the enemy to take your confidence, God is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1;Psalm 91:2). The Bible is your confidence booster it reminds you of all of God’s promises, and           2 Corinthians 1:20 tells us that all His promises are yea and amen, so take advantage of this opportunity while you are alive to do it. SOLUTION FOR YOUR PROBLEMS

Even with advanced technology,the world seems to have developed more problems, than solutions. They can’t find or develop cures nor answers for diseases of old,much less the new ones. However,God has all the answers,solutions ,and cures,but mankind refuses to listen,trust,and obey. And as Ephesians 4:18 puts it,”Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart”.Ignorance in the Word of God is detrimental to the life of God’s people. And Hosea 4:6 says,”My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge”.The Word of God identifies all the problems of man. The Word of God has the solution for all the problems of man. The Word of God promises victory over all the problems of man. The solution and answers is found in 2 Chronicles 7:14 which says,”If my people,who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray,seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin,and will heal their land”. Do you want proof that God does what He says,here is king David’s testimony, in Psalms 32:5 “I acknowledged my sin unto thee,and mine iniquity have I not hidden. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the Lord,and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin”. There’s your answer and solution to all your problems,and the other scriptures that supports and back this up is Lamentations 3:25-41;Jeremiah 3:13;Isaiah 43:25 &55:7;Romans 10:9;and 1 John 1:9. Read them all for yourself, and as He said through Samuel” …Behold,to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry…”{ 1Samuel 15:22-23}.Don’t sacrifice your health and life, and above all suffer because of disobedience. God told Joshua,and He is telling us today in these last days,and perilous times, to be strong and very courageous, observe and do everything the Bible tells us,Do not turn from to the right nor left,that thou mayest prosper wherever you go,don’t forget God’s word and His promises, meditate on them day and night,do them, and it will make your way prosperous and you will have good success [Joshua 1:5-9]. There is your solution and answers to all your problems,just obey. THE DEVIL’S HIT LIST

Are you on the devil’s V.I.P list,or his hit list. Let’s face the facts,the devil never loved us,and never will,we are on his hit list,so we could be killed. However, the good news is that he is already defeated, because Jesus went down to hell, so that we could be well; they put Him in a hole, so that we could be made whole. He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities, the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and with His stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Because of this the Christian is on the devils hit list, the most wanted, the most troubled; Jesus knew exactly what we would be going through, the hardship, persecutions, ridicules, and insults. That’s why Paul said, ‘Blessed be God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort, who comforted us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them who are in any trouble, by the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted of God (1 Corinthians 1:3-4). Most people are duped into believing that once you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord, and Savior, it’s smooth sailing from then on, the devil is a liar, because, that’s when the devil personally put you on a hit list just to make you mess up. No problem, because, that’s when true faith in the God you serve is activated, that’s when you have to know all of God’s promises, like: “Greater is He that is in you, than He that is in the world.” (1 John 4:4), or “He will never leave or forsake us.” (Hebrew 13:5), His grace is sufficient for us; for His strength is made perfect in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9); We are more than conquerors (Romans 8:37).

Please don’t make the mistake like Job did, thinking he could find comfort in his friends (Job 16:2). There will be occasions where we are burdened beyond measure, above our natural ability, and strength till we are despaired of life. This is why Paul tells us that as Christians, we should comfort each other, with the same comfort, God comforts us with. Paul encourages us to do that because there are believers out there who have never really hit rough waters, or feel abandoned, destitute, and broken, this is the reason why we can’t forsake the assembling of ourselves (Hebrews 10:25) because, this is where the Five fold ministry is activated, to exhort, teach, and edify the body of Christ so that we can be perfect and unified in faith and the knowledge of the Son of God (Ephesians 4:11-12). Now unfortunately, all we like sheep have gone astray, we have turned everyone to his own way, and the Lord had laid on Him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed and he was afflicted, yet he opened not His mouth (Isaiah 53:6-7). Jesus paid it all, gave us the victory, the power and authority to tread on serpents, scorpions, and all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19) so let’s stand victorious and triumphantly like the champions He turned us into.

NEED HELP, LOOK TO GOD

NEED HELP CALL GOD. He is always available; seven days per week,twenty four hours a day. Quit looking down,and look up,and boldly declare” I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills,from whence cometh my help? My help cometh from the Lord,who made heaven and earth”.as David declared in Psalms 121:1-2. When he realized that he has no one else to back him up, he asks, “Whom have I in Heaven but thee? And there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee {Psalms 73:25}. Why people are not turning to God,nor crying out to Him for help,could it be,a lack of knowledge. God did say it, in Hosea 4:6 “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…”. If you don’t cry out to God for help,you will not get help. King David was known as a man after God’s own heart it says in 1Samuel13:14,and  Acts13:22. Why? Because,God sees his heart,and know that he would be faithful,obedient,and seek Him by crying out to Him. In Psalms 89:26,God gives us His analysis on David,”He shall cry unto me,Thou art my Father,my God,and the Rock of my salvation”. This was David view on God,and God knew it,therefore, everytime David cries out to God,he have this confidence that,God is not only able to,but will deliver him. No one in the Bible cried out to God for help more then David. Psalm 34 is full of his cries,v6.”This poor man cried,and the Lord heard him,and saved him out of all his troubles”. V15″The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous,and His ears are open unto their cry”. V17″The righteous cry,and the Lord heareth,and delivereth them out of all their troubles”. Which means you have to be righteous,which means to be in right standing,how can you be in right standing? By presenting your body as a living sacrifice,that is holy and acceptable unto Him which is your reasonable service ,as Romans 12:1 and 1Corinthians 3:16-17 suggests. One thing for sure,as anointed and blessed as David was,he was not ashamed,afraid,nor embarass to cry out to God,for help.In Psalm 55:16-18 David said,”As for me,I will call upon God, and the Lord shall save me. Evening,and morning,and at noon,will I pray,and cry aloud,and He shall hear my voice. He hath delivered my soul in peace from the battle that was against me”.Psalms 57:2-3,”I will cry unto God Most High;unto God who performeth all things for me. He shall send from heaven,and save me from the reproach of him that would swallow me up. Selah,God shall send forth His mercy,and His truth”. Then in Judges 3:9, we see the children of Israel cried out to God,and the Lord raised up a deliverer. Finally,we see in Acts 12:4-17 we see that when the church cried out to God,for Peters deliverance,God sent His angel to deliver him. So God says in 2 Chronicles 7:12,”If my people,who are called by my name,shall humble themselves,and pray,and seek my face,and turn from their wicked ways,then I will hear from heaven,and will forgive their sin,and will heal their land”. These are God’s instructions and advice to us,now it’s up to you to cry out to Him. “When I cry unto Thee,then shall mine enemies turn back;this I know;for God is for me”(Psalm 56:9).”Hear my cry,O God,attend unto my prayer. From the end of the earth will I cry. When my heart is overwhelmed;lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For thou hast been a shelter for me,and a strong tower from the enemy”(Psalm 61:1-3). You better cry out to God. WHO CAN’T HEAR WILL FEEL

Are we so consumed, tied down, and bottled down in our mess, that we can’t be blessed? Are we so devastated to the point, where we can’t hear God? I have come to realize that, it’s when the trials, tribulations, and problems hit us to the point of frustration, devastation, and procrastination, that’s normally when the truth hits us. Then we try to analyze where we went wrong, but for Christians the question is – Did we read God’s instructions? Did we follow them?
Or as Matthew 4:19 says,”And the cares of this world,and the deceitfulness of riches,and the lusts of other things enter in,choke the word,and it becomes unfruitful” .
Then here comes, would have, could have, should have; if only we would have read the Bible, we could have avoided this mess, and we should have acknowledge God first. Listen, there is no excuse, God gave us a manual, or G.P.S system called, The Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth, it is then our duty to seek and read the manual, and follow the instructions (Isaiah 34:16; 2 Timothy 2:15). Now the question is, did we read it before we act? Why didn’t we follow the instructions if we read it? Why are you depending on someone to read it, or interpret it for you? It is available in all languages, all sizes, and never runs out of supply; which means we can’t blame God when things go wrong. In the manual, it is written,”In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct thy path.” (Proverbs 3:6); It clearly states, “Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness, and whatever we need or desire, we will get it.” (Matthew 6:33). His word, the Bible, has all of God’s promises, rules, regulations, and everything pertaining to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness is available to everyone. God does not care about your color, creed, or nationality, He does not care what size you are, or how pretty you are, your money or education is of no significance to God, His word and promises is for everyone, from birth until physical death. Some of us who are made after His image and likeness are so ungrateful and despicable, that we would sacrifice, God’s love, His trust, His mercies, His grace, and goodness for what?  Just for limited gratification that is unsatisfying, and leaves us broke, miserable and disgusted, and sadly enough most of us don’t realize that we jeopardize and compromise our relationship with God, family, and friends for what? Come on, taste and see that the Lord is good and gracious (Psalm 34:8; 1 Peter 2:3). Blessed are you if you hunger and thirst after righteousness (Matthew 5:6; Luke 6:21). For God so loved us, He gave us His only begotten Son (John 3:16-17).

Read it then tell me? How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation, which at the first was spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him, God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with diverse miracles and gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to his own will (Hebrews 2:3-4). Listen, the only way to God is through His Son Jesus Christ (John 14:6).

YOU ARE BOUGHT

To God you are priceless, but to the devil you are worthless. Everyone can be bought,and is bought for the right price or reason, and your worth is dependent on your value,to whomever.How much you are worth and who owns you is totally dependent on you. You can be bought cheap or expensive,valuable or worthless. However, if you are bought cheap then you have no value, but if you are worth something then you have exquisite value.

How do you know your value? Simple, if you can be bought with money, a house, a car, good looks or anything in this world ,then you are not valuable and the devil owns you,because in his eyes you are cheap and a worthless piece of trash. However,in God’s eye’s we are all valuable,that’s why He sent His only begotten Son,to die for us,as we see in John 3:16-17,For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son,that whosoever believers in Him should not perish,but have everlasting life. For Got sent not His Son to condemn the world,but that the world through Him might be saved. So who owns you ? The choice is yours. “Ye are bought with a price;be not ye servants of men”{ 1 Corinthians 7:23}. Therefore, if you are purchased by the Blood of Jesus (Acts 20:28) then you are priceless to God (Matthew 6:26), you are valuable (Luke 12:7).

What? Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom ye have of God and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit which are God’s (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). However, if any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy, for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are (1Corinthians 3:17).

Who bought you? Who do you belong to? As Hebrews 4:16 suggests, “Let us,therefore, come boldly unto the throne of grace,that we may obtain mercy,and find Grace to help in time of need”. YOU need to belong to your rightful owner,the creator of the universe and everything in it. 2 Timothy 2:19 says, “Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal: THE LORD KNOWS those who are His, let everyone that nemeth the name of Christ depart from evil (sin/iniquity). DECLARE WAR ON THE ENEMY

How to fight an unseen enemy,first you must understand this. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood,but against principalities,against powers,against the rulers of the darkness of this world,against spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12).  For though we walk in the flesh,we do not war after the flesh; For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal,but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds;casting down imaginations,and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God,and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.(2Corinthians 10:3-5). Therefore,you need to know,”what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe,according to the working of His mighty power;which He wrought in Christ when He raised Him from the dead,and set Him at His own right hand in the heavenly places;far above all principality,and power,and might,and dominion ,and every name that is named,not only in this age,but also in that which is to come;and hath  put all things under His  feet ,and gave Him to be the head over all things to the church (Ephesians 1:19-22). For in Him dwelleth all the fullness of the God-head bodily;and you are complete in Him,who is the head of all principality and power (Colossians 2:9 -10). Then Jesus in Luke 10:19 says,” Behold,I give unto you power to tread upon serpents and scorpions,and over all the power of the enemy,and nothing shall by any means hurt you”. In John 14:16-17 Jesus said, “And I will pray the Father,and He shall give you another comforter,that He may abide with you forever;even the Spirit or truth ,whom the world cannot receive,because it seeth Him not,neither knoweth Him ,for He dwelleth with you,and shall be in you”. Acts 1:8 says,”But you shall receive power,after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you..”. Which means,we have this treasure in earthen vessels,that the excellency of the power may be of God,and not of us(2 Corinthians 4:7). Listen ,1 John 4:4 says,”You are of God little children,and have overcome them,because,Greater is He that is in you,than he that is in the world”. Now thanks be to God,who always leads us in triumph in Christ,and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge [ 2 Corinthians 2:14]. For everyone born of God overcomes the world; this is the victory that has overcome the world,even our faith. However, you will lose if you don’t know Christ Jesus as your personal Lord and savior, because, you can’t fight alone with human strength. IT TAKES CONFIDENCE

Are you worried, stressed out,or doubtful then here is your cure.”Be anxious for nothing.but in everything, by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God” as Philippians 4:6 tells us. Therefore, if you pray about it,then don’t worry about it. God already worked it out,so quit worrying and stressing. If you waver you will not get the favor.However,the truth is that, if you are worrying and stressing it simply means that you don’t trust God. The question is asked in,1 Kings 18:21 “How long will you waver between two opinions? If the LORD is God, follow Him; but if Baal (Satan) is God follow him.” But the people answered him not a word. When you pray, a decision is needed,  Indecisiveness will frustrate your mind and soul and make you mentally and emotionally disturbed. Listen folks,if Abraham had worried and stress, he would never be the Father of many nations,as Romans 4:20-22 says, “He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief,but was strong in faith,giving glory to God (mean that he was praising while waiting). And being fully persuaded that,what He had promised,He was able also to perform;and therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness”. James 1:6-8 tells us to ask for things in faith without wavering, because, they who wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed….a double minded person is unstable in all their ways. When you have prayed for something, 1 John 5:14-15 suggest,that we apply confidence after we pray,”And this is the confidence that we have in Him,that,if we ask anything according to His will,He heareth us ;and if we know that He hear us, whatever we ask,we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him”. Why? Because, Ephesians. 3:20 says,”Now unto Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think,according to the power that workers in us”. God is able,are you able to believe without a shadow of doubt? Many of us are confident enough to ask,but to apply this confidence to believing without doubt or fear is the problem,then the anxiety while waiting cultivate the wrong mindset. So that’s when you apply 2 Corinthians 10:5,cast down all imaginations and every high thing that exalt itself against the knowledge of God.The decision to apply the word in difficulties,aren’t always easy, but its always worth it,and then you have to tell the devil,that nothing is too hard for God to do. Another problem why your faith is not strong is because, you don’t have a personal relationship with God, nor you haven’t accepted His gift ,of His of His only begotten Son,JESUS.
