EYES TO SEE,YET BLIND

​If the Good News we preach is hidden behind a veil, it is hidden only from people who are perishing. Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don’t understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God. You see, we don’t go around preaching about ourselves. We preach that Jesus Christ is Lord, and we ourselves are your servants for Jesus’ sake. For God, who said, “Let there be light in the darkness,” has made this light shine in our hearts so we could know the glory of God that is seen in the face of Jesus Christ. We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure. This makes it clear that our great power is from God, not from ourselves.(2 Corinthians 4:3‭-‬7)

EVIL AND HATEFUL PEOPLE ,are walking in darkness,the Bible says,

“And we can be sure that we know him if we obey his commandments. If someone claims, “I know God,” but doesn’t obey God’s commandments, that person is a liar and is not living in the truth. But those who obey God’s word truly show how completely they love him. That is how we know we are living in him. Those who say they live in God should live their lives as Jesus did. Dear friends, I am not writing a new commandment for you; rather it is an old one you have had from the very beginning. This old commandment—to love one another—is the same message you heard before. Yet it is also new. Jesus lived the truth of this commandment, and you also are living it. For the darkness is disappearing, and the true light is already shining. If anyone claims, “I am living in the light,” but hates a fellow believer, that person is still living in darkness. Anyone who loves a fellow believer is living in the light and does not cause others to stumble. But anyone who hates a fellow believer is still living and walking in darkness. Such a person does not know the way to go, having been blinded by the darkness. I am writing to you who are God’s children because your sins have been forgiven through Jesus. I am writing to you who are mature in the faith because you know Christ, who existed from the beginning. I am writing to you who are young in the faith because you have won your battle with the evil one. I have written to you who are God’s children because you know the Father. I have written to you who are mature in the faith because you know Christ, who existed from the beginning. I have written to you who are young in the faith because you are strong. God’s word lives in your hearts, and you have won your battle with the evil one. Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you. For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world. And this world is fading away, along with everything that people crave. But anyone who does what pleases God will live forever”. [1 John 2:3‭-‬17 ]

2 Corinthians 4:4

In whom the god of this world has BLINDED the MINDS of them which BELIEVE NOT…

+Remember the devil (Satan) uses doubt, unbelief, etc as a means to blind the minds of individuals when it comes to the things pertaining to Christ and the Kingdom of God. 

 Romans 1:28 

And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a REPROBATE MIND, to do those things which are not convenient. 

+As for those who rejected and the things of God out of their minds God gave them over to a REPROBATE MIND.  

+A REPROBATE MIND is a sinful, wicked, evil, unrighteous and unholy mind that is destined to damnation. 

+It is detrimental to our existence NOT to retain God in our minds. 

+Again we shall know the TRUTH and the TRUTH shall MAKE us FREE. 

Isaiah 26:3-4

3 You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you: because he trusts in you. 

4 Trust in the LORD forever: for in the LORD GOD is everlasting strength:

SPREAD THE GOOD NEWS 

​What kind of news,are you spreading? Will it encourage or bless someone? Will it build or tear down?

How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of the messenger who brings good news, the good news of peace and salvation, the news that the God of Israel reigns! {Isaiah 52:7}.

Jesus’s birth was good news over two thousand years ago,and it’s still good news today to those who want to be delivered,and set free from the curse of death and hell.

LISTEN:

“But the angel reassured them. “Don’t be afraid!” he said. “I bring you good news that will bring great joy to all people. The Savior—yes, the Messiah, the Lord—has been born today in Bethlehem, the city of David! And you will recognize him by this sign: You will find a baby wrapped snugly in strips of cloth, lying in a manger.” Suddenly, the angel was joined by a vast host of others—the armies of heaven—praising God and saying, “Glory to God in highest heaven, and peace on earth to those with whom God is pleased.” {Luke 2:10‭-‬14}

Look! A messenger is coming over the mountains with good news! He is bringing a message of peace. Celebrate your festivals, O people of Judah, and fulfill all your vows, for your wicked enemies will never invade your land again. They will be completely destroyed! [Nahum 1:15].

Uplift someone today with some good news,kill the gossip that will hurt someone.

2 Corinthians 4:3-4

3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: 

4 In whom the god of this world has BLINDED the MINDS of them which BELIEVE NOT, lest the light of the Glorious Gospel of Christ, Who is the Image of God, should shine unto them. 

+A BLINDED MIND is more difficult to deal with than BLINDED EYES. 

+Why are some people’s MIND BLINDED? The Word of God says because they BELIEVED NOT the Glorious Gospel of Christ. 

+The principle here is that Doubt, Unbelief, Lack of Faith, etc are all symptoms of a BLINDED MIND. 

+Keep in mind that the god of this world (satan, the devil) uses  Doubt, Unbelief, Lack of Faith, etc to BLIND the MINDS of many individuals.  

John 8:32 

And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. 

+Thank God we are FREE in our Minds because we have the MIND of Christ.

NO POINT IN WORRYING 

I don’t worry,and I don’t fret,because God never fails me yet. When you stand on His word and promises,then all worry and fear will disappear.

Here is one of His promises,I live by:

Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?   Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?   Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?   And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:   And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.   Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?   Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?   (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.   But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.   Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.{Matthew 6:25‭-‬34}

Then I back it up with,”Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.  And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.  Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.  Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you”{Philippians 4:6‭-‬9}

The key to not worrying is to do this: “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.  In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.  Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord , and depart from evil.  It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.  Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:  So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine”.[Proverbs 3:5‭-‬10]

God sees things different 

​The Value System of God

-Little is much when God is in it. Little is much when your heart is in it. Little is much when it is your all, and much will be little without God at all.  

Mark 12:41-44 The widow’s two mites was little, but Jesus said she gave more than the others because it was her all. 

-When you give out of sacrifice it adds value to your giving. 

In  2Corinthians 9:6-8 we see that, when you give cheerfully and give from the heart it adds value to your giving.  

-When you give out of love for others and especially out of love for God it adds value to your giving. 

-The return for your giving by the Value System of God is One Hundredfold, Good Measure, Pressed Down, Shaken Together and Running Over to the point where you shall not have room enough to receive it. 

God tells us to prove Him,and see if He don’t back up His word.  “Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.  Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.  Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.  And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the Lord of hosts.  And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the Lord of hosts”.[Malachi 3:8‭-‬12 ]

+++Blessed we are and blessed we will always be and to God be all our Lord Jesus Christ be all the glory. Amen!

WHO DO YOU REPRESENT 

​Wherever we go, whatever we do, and whatever we say, we must always be an Excellent Representation of Christ.  

Genesis 1:27 

So God created man in his Own Image, in the Image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 

Acts 17:28 

For in Him (Christ / God) we live, and move, and have our being…

+How can we Represent Christ in Excellence at all times?

If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies,  Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.  Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.  Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.  Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:  Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:  But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:  And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.  Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:  That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;  And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Daniel 6:3 

Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an EXCELLENT SPIRIT was in him…

+The Holy Spirit is in us. Therefore we are of an EXCELLENT SPIRIT. 

+Be led by the Spirit. Pray in the Spirit and walk in the Spirit for the glory of God. Alleluia!

DON’T GIVE IT AWAY,SO EASY

​LADIES AND GENTLEMEN: Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast all of you your pearls before swine, lest they  trample them under their feet, and return and rend you. {Matthew 7:6}

The Exegesis/interpretation is:

Give not that which is holy unto the unholy, neither give your precious and valuable substance to the ungrateful and thankless, less they abuse, misuse and walk on them as dirt and return to rend you (or rip your heart) by doing the same thing all over again.Always handle your Kingdom business with Kingdom Wisdom. Blessed you are and blessed you will always be and to God be all the glory. Amen!

GOD IS OUR REFUGE,AND STRENGTH 

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord , “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.” Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler And from the perilous pestilence. He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall  be  your shield and buckler. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day, Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday. A thousand may fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; But it shall not come near you. Only with your eyes shall you look, And see the reward of the wicked. Because you have made the Lord , who  is  my refuge, Even the Most High, your dwelling place, No evil shall befall you, Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; For He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you in all your ways. In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone. You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra, The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot. “Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name. He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will  be  with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him, And show him My salvation.” {Psalms 91:1‭-‬16}

LISTEN 

•Christ in us is always greater than all that we could ever go through. 

Romans 8:33-35

 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect? It is God who justifies. 

 Who is he that condemns? 

•The devil will try but he has no power to condemn us. Only God does and God will never condemn you. There is therefore now no condemnation to then who are in Christ Jesus…

 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? 

•No one can, but the devil is dumb enough to try.

• The devil will often try to test us in many different ways to see where he can enter our lives and cause problems. 

•But thanks be unto God that Jesus came into our lives that we might have the good life and have it more abundantly. 

Romans 8:31 

What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? (No one!)

+The devil is permanently and eternally defeated, and in Christ Jesus we have permanent and eternal victory over the enemy.

GOD IS GOOD,AND HIS MERCIES ENSURES FOREVER

+Why was it GOOD?

+What makes anything GOOD?

+What are God’s Standards of GOOD?

Psalm 118:1 

O give thanks unto the LORD; for He is GOOD…

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.{Galatians 6:9}

+GOOD is of the Lord. For the Lord is GOOD. Like God is LOVE, likewise God is GOOD. 

+No one and nothing is GOOD unless it is Righteous, Holy, In Truth with Faith and Love. 

+Some byproducts of GOOD are Bountiful Favors, Graciousness, Joyfully, Kindness, Prosperity, Wealth, and the list goes on. 

+Remember what the Lord said concerning us in Psalm 23:6 

Surely GOODNESS and mercy shall follow us all the days of our lives… Hallelujahs to Jesus!

TRUE PEACE  

You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on  You, Because he trusts in You. (Isaiah 26:3)

I have seen his ways, and will heal him; I will also lead him, And restore comforts to him And to his mourners. “I create the fruit of the lips: Peace, peace to him who is far off and to him who is near,” Says the Lord, “And I will heal him.” But the wicked are like the troubled sea, When it cannot rest, Whose waters cast up mire and dirt. “There is no peace,” Says my God, “for the wicked.” (Isaiah 57:18‭-‬21)

RESULTS  OF  GODLY PEACE

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you. (Philippians 4:6‭-‬9)

But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. (John 14:26‭-‬27)

The only  way to  get  this peace  is to…“let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.” (Colossians 3:15‭-‬17)

“Indeed the hour is coming, yes, has now come, that you will be scattered, each to his own, and will leave Me alone. And yet I am not alone, because the Father is with Me.  These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” (John 16:32‭-‬33)

Finally,

Great peace have those who love Your law, And nothing causes them to stumble. (Psalms 119:165)
