CONFESSION IS GOOD FOR THE SOUL

God is real,and there is a heaven and a hell. It doesn’t  matter  whether  you believe  it or not; it doesn’t  matter  what color , creed,or nationality ;it doesn’t  matter  if you are rich or poor.  Judgement day is coming ,and you will  have to give an  account   of everything  you did,be it good or bad,and you can’t  blame anyone  but yourself  . However , if you are reading  this,it means that you are alive,and did God is giving  you  another  chance  and another  day to make things right with the creator of the world . HE SAID  :

“….If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to prayer made in this place. For now I have chosen and sanctified this house, that My name may be there forever; and My eyes and My heart will be there perpetually”. (II Chronicles 7:14‭-‬16 NKJV).

“…that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”(Romans 10:9‭-‬13 NKJV).

“This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us”.(1  John 1:5‭-‬10 NKJV).

“And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up,  that whoever believes in Him should not perish but  have eternal life.  For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.  For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.  And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.  For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed.  But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.”(John 3:14‭-‬21 NKJV).

FINALLY

“Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a harlot? Certainly not! Or do you not know that he who is joined to a harlot is one body with  her? For “the two,” He says, “shall become one flesh.” But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with  Him. Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who  is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s”. [1  Corinthians 6:9‭-‬10‭, ‬15‭-‬20 NKJV]

WHAT ARE YOU THINKING ?

Your  thoughts  can either  bless you,or ruin your life. The Bible  says, as a man thinketh in his heart so  is he,(Proverbs 23:7).

“This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”(Joshua 1:8‭-‬9 NKJV).

“You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on  You, Because he trusts in You”.(Isaiah 26:3 NKJV).

“Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God”.(Hebrews 12:1‭-‬2 NKJV).

“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled”. ( 2 Corinthians 10:3‭-‬6 NKJV).

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are  noble, whatever things are  just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are  lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there  is any virtue and if there  is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you”. (Philippians 4:6‭-‬9 NKJV).

LIVE THE OVERCOMERS LIFE

” And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death”. (Revelation 12:11 NKJV).

“For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? This is He who came by water and blood—Jesus Christ; not only by water, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who bears witness, because the Spirit is truth. For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one. And there are three that bear witness on earth: the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and these three agree as one. If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater; for this is the witness of God which He has testified of His Son. He who believes in the Son of God has the witness in himself; he who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed the testimony that God has given of His Son. And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him. We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him. And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life. Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.”(1 John 5:4‭-‬15‭, ‬18‭-‬21 NKJV).

“Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord”.(Romans 8:37‭-‬39 NKJV).

IN CONCLUSION MEDITATE ON THIS:

“Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love. For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. For he who lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins. Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble; for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ”. You Have Victory and Rest in the Lord
1 Kings 5:4
But now the LORD my God has given me REST ON EVERY SIDE, so that there is neither ADVERSARY nor MISFORTUNE.
+We have REST ON EVERY SIDE in Christ Jesus.
Acts 17:28
For in Him (Christ Jesus) we LIVE, and MOVE, and have our BEING…
+The (ADVERSARY) the devil is DEFEATED by our Lord Jesus Christ, and no WEAPONS, or (MISFORTUNE) formed against us shall prosper, or (overcome us).
+For LORD our God has given us REST ON EVERY SIDE, so that there is neither ADVERSARY nor MISFORTUNE should happen to us.
+Thank God for this VICTORY in Christ Jesus our Lord.

RELATIONSHIP

1 John 1:6-10 says it clear,

We are so Blessed in Christ
John 10:10 AMP
The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the fullest until it overflows).
1 John 3:8 AMP
[But] he who commits sin [who practices evildoing] is of the devil [takes his character from the evil one], for the devil has sinned (violated the divine law) from the beginning. The reason the Son of God was made manifest (visible) was to undo (destroy, loosen, and dissolve) the works the devil [has done].
+The abundantly (Blessed) life is only found in Christ.
+The abundantly (Blessed) Life is consists of all that pertains to life and godliness.
+Remember that in Christ all the works of the enemy against us are totally and completely destroyed.

HAPPY FATHER’S  DAY

Even though  Father’s  don’t  get the attention  Mother’s  get, Good   father’s  should  be examples  of our Heavenly  Father , who loves us unconditionally . 

“…. Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name”… (Matthew 6:9 NKJV).

“When my father and my mother forsake me, Then the Lord will take care of me”.(Psalms 27:10 NKJV).

God is:

“A father of the fatherless, a defender of widows, Is God in His holy habitation”. (Psalms 68:5 NKJV).

“As a father pities his children, So the Lord pities those who fear Him”. (Psalms 103:13 NKJV).

JUST  GIVE IT TO GOD

Have you given all your problems to the Lord?
1 Peter 5:7 (AMP)
Casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all] on Him (The Lord Jesus Christ), for He (The Lord Jesus Christ) cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully.
Matthew 12:28-30 Jesus said:
28 Come unto me, all you that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and all of you shall find rest unto your souls.
30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

“Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? “So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. Don’t mind the things you are FACING just give your mind to the FACE of God.
Jeremiah 1:8
Be not afraid of their FACES: for I am with you to deliver you, says the LORD.
+We all are FACING different things and challenges. Don’t let the FACES of those things make you dismayed or afraid.
Numbers 6:25

HOW YOU SHOULD BE

“Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law of the Lord , And in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper. The ungodly are not so, But are like the chaff which the wind drives away. Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, Nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. For the Lord knows the way of the righteous, But the way of the ungodly shall perish”. (Psalms 1:1‭-‬6 NKJV).

““Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord , And whose hope is the Lord . For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit. “The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it? I, the Lord , search the heart, I test the mind, Even to give every man according to his ways, According to the fruit of his doings”. (Jeremiah 17:7‭-‬10 NKJV).

“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Don’t mind the things you are FACING just give your mind to the FACE of God.

POWER OF LIFE AND DEATH  IS IN THE TONGUE

“Speak death to sickness ,and diseases ;and life to good health . Why ? Because,God says,you can . “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit”. (Proverbs 18:21 NKJV).

“For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”(Matthew 12:37 NKJV).

“Brood of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things. But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”(Matthew 12:34‭-‬37 NKJV).

“Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you”. (Ephesians 4:29‭-‬32 NKJV).

Speaking without OFFENCE?
+Let’s get this right by God’s standards.
+Our concerns should not be about offending man, but first foremost about not offending God.
+Therefore let us practice
Ephesians 4:15
…speaking the truth in love…
+What is speaking the truth in love? Speaking the truth in love is to speak with Love, in Truth, Holiness and righteousness.
James 3:2
For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect (or mature) man…
+To offend not in words is NOT to say the wrong thing, BUT to say the right thing in Love, Truth, Righteousness and Holiness.
+This is well pleasing unto the Lord. If man is offended while God is pleased don’t worry about it. God is your Rewarder and not man.

WATCH YOUR THOUGHTS  

“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God”. (Romans 12:2 NKJV).

We must Govern and Manag Our Thoughts
2 Corinthians 10:5 tells us ;
Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.
Proverb 23:7
For as he thinks in his heart, so is he…
+The thoughts we think, good or bad can eventually go from your minds (souls) to your heart (spirits) and then to our bodies, and also to other areas of our lives.
+Our thoughts can affect and have tremendous impact on us.
+Only think on things that are Good, Healthy and Positive. Think of the hinges that are of Love, Truth, Holiness, Righteousness and Faith Building.
Philippians 4:8
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are True, Honest, Just, Pure, Lovely, things that are of Good Report; if there be any Virtue, and if there be any Praise, think on these things.
+Remember thoughts can become beliefs, and beliefs can become a reality. Governing and Managing our thoughts is our Responsibility.

RENEW YOUR  MIND

Why do people choose to dwell,and live in the negative ,things of their past, that hurt ,destroy , and scar them. Why don’t we do as the Apostle Paul said,

“Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus”.(Philippians 3:13‭-‬14 NKJV).

King David ,puts it like this:

“But then I recall all you have done, O Lord; I remember your wonderful deeds of long ago. They are constantly in my thoughts. I cannot stop thinking about your mighty works.”(Psalm 77:11-12 NLT).

(Philippians 4:8 NKJV).

LISTEN  
Everyone has difficult days when things don’t go according to plan. These days can be frustrating and sometimes overwhelming. It’s during times like these that we have to be especially careful about what we think and say. The scripture tells us that our lives will go in the direction of our thoughts. Do you need to change your thoughts today?
I love what the psalmist wrote here in Psalm 77. He was facing immense challenges when he cried out to God and said, “You know what? I’m going to focus on what God has done for me. I’m going to dwell on His goodness. I will recall His deeds to mind.”
Today, don’t dwell on negative, self-defeating thoughts. Instead, recall His deeds to mind. Focus on what He’s done for you. Thank Him for the gift of life and salvation.

Make a list of all God’s wonderful blessings. Let your thoughts turn toward Him today and recall His wonderful deeds!

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit”.(Proverbs 18:21 NKJV). Just as how death, and life are in the power of the tongue ; death and life are in the power of your thoughts as well . The Bible  says ,  so as a man thinks  so is he.”For as he thinks in his heart, so is he…..”(Proverbs 23:7a NKJV).

Let’s pray:
“Almighty Father God in the name of Jesus through the Holy Spirit, Hallowed be your name, Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as is in Heaven, I bless Your holy name today! Thank You for the gift of life both now and in eternity. Thank You for loving me and setting me free. Help me to keep my mind on Your good deeds in Jesus’ name I do pray and declare it all. Blessed are we and blessed we will always be and to our Lord Jesus Christ be all the Glory. Amen”
