FASTING PROVES YOUR LOVE FOR GOD

What is fasting? you may wonder,and what are thr benefits of fasting? Here are some insights. Fasting is sacrificing the delicacies in your life to honor God. Unfortunately most people honor God only when they want something but whatever our reasons may be God is glorified and the devil is horrified. The next question you may be asking is why the devil is horrified. Well this may be the easiest question I have to answer. The devil is horrified because he remembers that when our Lord and Savior walked on the earth, Jesus fasted and he came out more powerful and spiritually inclined.

Children of God, it is of the ut-most importance to fast because when we do we walk in the power and authority like Jesus Christ. We can exercise our God-given authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy and nothing shall, by any means, hurt us (Luke 10 :19). It is sad when a Christian walks around defeated because they don’t know or understand the power that they have.

Fasting tells and shows God, not people, that we love Him, and are willing to sacrifice or give up certain things for a period of time,(which is between you and God). For example certain types of food that you absolutely love, or television, this is a good one – the internet (if it’s not for His use or to honor Him), how about gossiping, or idle chatter, wow! There are so many things we could give up that we adore just to honor God.

Remember this is not something you tell everyone, this is personal between you and God. It is when you broadcast it all over the globe that you become a hypocrite and lose your reward (Matthew 6 :16-18). Fasting allows the true Christian to bring their body or flesh under subjection and eliminate the flesh with its lust and deadly desires. This is how and when James 4:7 take root and is activated, because you submit to God and resist the devil, so he has to flee, like he fled from Jesus(Matthew 4 :1-11).

How many of us as Christians really fast? Do you know and understand the crippling effect it has on the enemy? Daniel fasted, David fasted, and Jesus did too. So as believers why aren’t you? God is not worth it? If His only begotten son fasted, you are certainly no exception, or maybe you don’t love Him (God) enough. Come on children of God it’s time to take God serious, in these latter days, we need to be prayed up and fasting.

Now let me let you in on a secret, when you are on a fast, it is the best time to study the Bible; to be on your knees constantly praying, because you will hear His voice clearly, and know His will, intentions and plans for your life. Don’t forget just like Jeremiah, in Jeremiah 1 :5, He ( God) knew us before we were born. So are you for God or not? Are you interested in knowing God, then accept His gift of His only begotten son (Jesus Christ) John 3:16-17.

WHAT DO YOU CONSIDER AS BLESSED

Most people love to say they are blessed, but do they really know what being blessed is. A friend of mine says, “being blessed is having an abundant and unlimited supply of  life’s  necessities from earth to heaven,” which means you don’t lack or want for anything, because God is your one and only supplier, distributer, provider and more. This is not a feel good moment it’s a confidence booster, that without a shadow of doubt the God we serve, who owns the world and everything in it will supply our needs.  In Psalm 24:1 we see that, “The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world and all its occupants belong to Him.” Therefore, when you say you are blessed, your lifestyle reflects Philippians 4:19 which tells us that, “But my God shall supply all of  your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Notice the scripture did not say your job, spouse, family, friends or any earthly connection will supply your need; it says God, through Jesus Christ, His son will supply all your need. Allow me to go a little deeper in what, being blessed is and how it is attained.

When you are blessed, you and everyone around you knows, because you are envied and hated by people who don’t even know you or where you are coming from, so they will judge and criticize you, because the devil and his demons didn’t give it to you and he can’t take it away. Whomever God blesses no man can curse, and no demon can take it away. Everyone can receive the blessing and favor of God all it takes is obedience and commitment to God. It tells us this in Deuteronomy 28:1-14, “And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all His commandments, which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth; And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord your God. Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field…Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out; The Lord shall cause thine enemies who rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face; they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways…And the Lord shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath, if thou hearken unto the commands of the Lord thy God…” So why aren’t you blessed? Is it because you are not obedient to God’s word.

People who are blessed have supernatural faith in God and are strong like Sampson, wise like Solomon, face and slay giants like David did, go in the lion’s den like Daniel, come out of the fiery furnace without a burn mark like the three Hebrew boys, refuse to commit adultery and fornication that would jeopardise their relationship with God like Joseph did. If we look at Hebrews 11, we will find all the folks who were blessed because of belief, faith and trust in our omnipotent God. Are you interested in being blessed? Do you want to be blessed? Then  you must accept God’s personal gift of His beloved Son Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, because He is the one and only way to God as John 14:6 tells us (that He is the way, the truth and the life) and unlike the old testament days, He is the fulfilment of the laws written back then, and has become the only access to God. Blessed folks seek  the Kingdom of God and His righteousness first so that He can keep adding things to them as Matthew  6:33 clearly points out to us. All good and perfect gifts only come from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning (James 1:17).When you obey Him only then will you get access to His blessings, so go for it, it’s all yours.

 Now unto Him who is able to keep us from falling, and to present us faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, to Him who is Immortal and Invisible, the only wise God, the Father of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, be all praise, honor, thanks and dominion for His grace mercy and endless love and also for using me to release this message to you. HOW TO MAKE THE DEVIL RUN

To make the devil run from you,just remind him of his retirement package,which is fire and brimstone,as it says in Revelation 20:10 “And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone,where the beast and the false prophet are,and shall be tormented day and night forever and ever”.  Then when the devil brings up your past ,remind him of his,when he got kicked out of heaven.”And their was war in heaven;Michael and his angels fought against against the dragon,and the dragon fought and his angels,and prevailed not,neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent,called the devil and satan,who deceiveth the whole world,he was cast out into the earth,and his angels were cast out with him {Revelation 12:7-9}.Jesus said,in Luke 10:18-20″I beheld satan as lightning fall from heaven. Behold,I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions,and over all the power of the enemy;and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Notwithstanding,in this rejoice not,that the spirits are subject unto you;but rather rejoice,because your names are written in heaven”. This is the reason why the devils hates us so much,he knows how good heaven was,and he can’t go back,therefore,he will do everything to keep us out,and he likes to accuse us,but Revelation 12:10-13 tells us,”.. Now is come salvation,and strength,and the kingdom of our God,and the power of His Christ ,for the accuser of our brethren is cast down,who accused them before our God day and night. And they overcame him by the blood of the lamb,and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. Therefore rejoice,ye heaven,and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! For the devil is come down unto you,having great wrath,because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth,he persecuted the woman who brought forth the man child”. Their are a lot of ways to send the packing or running,like going down on your knees to pray,which reminds him that the time is drawing near where as Philippians 2:10&11 says,”Wherefore,God also hath highly exalted Him (Jesus),and give Him a name which is above every name. That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,of things in heaven,and things in earth,and things under the earth;and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,to the glory of God,The Father”. And above all remember what James 4:7&8 says,” Submit yourselves,therefore,to God. Resist the devil,and he will flee from you. Draw near to God,and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands,ye sinners;and purify your hearts,ye double-minded”. And finally,when you study ti show yourself approve unto God,as Hebrews 4:12 tells us to do,then we will not perish because of a lack of knowledge,so the devil will run because we have armed ourselves with the word of God which is quick and powerful as Hebrews 4:12 tells us,and we can tell him like Jesus did,it is written,or better yet,like Michael the angel told him,”satan the Lord rebuke you”. Now you know how to chase him away,go and do it,but stay connected to Jesus because without Him you can do nothing.

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY

 A mother is a woman, but not every woman is a mother or displays a mothers qualities and characteristics. When you reflect on a good mother you think of the fruit of the spirit: love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22&23) especially in these latter days, when children are out of control longsuffering and self-control top the list. Mothers who have Godly characteristics are highly favored and blessed, because they are chosen by God to be incubators of children, something that no man can imitate, duplicate or replicate, even though people think cloning is the same but it’s not even close. When I think of Biblical mothers like Mary, you are proud to have one of those, who walks with God, serves God, thanks and praises God as a lifestyle, they present their bodies as living sacrifices that is Holy and acceptable unto God, so that, He can use them for His purpose, to birth a boy like Immanuel or Jesus, Moses, Abraham, David, Solomon and a whole lot of good people.

Then you have the mothers who follow Bible principles and train up a child in the way they should go or grow, so that they become honorable men and women of God, and be a tribute and an asset to society. Unfortunately, the days of exceptional mothers have dwindled, because of absentee fathers. So the burden and stress of parenting is left on the single parent, this, God did not intend to happen. It is sad to say that it has left mothers to forget biblical principles because they are so busy working they don’t have the time to teach their daughters how to be women, much less mothers, which is categorised as a broken home. So children are forced to learn from society and their peers, who don’t have a clue about being mothers. While the wise ones give them up for adoption, and others just simply abandon them.

Whatever the case is, on days like these some people are sad, because of the loss of their own mothers, who were brilliant, because true mothers are rare, hard to find,  and irreplaceable. Even though many just have the title, not many play or fulfil the role, and like you have dead beat dads, you do have some dead beat mothers. But regardless of the situation, when you think of genuine mothers they are special women, who need to be honored and respected, because no man can carry a baby for nine months and go through all those hours of labor pains and come out smiling.

HAVE A HAPPY MOTHERS DAY AND MAY THE GRACE, PEACE AND FAVOR OF GOD CONTINUE TO BE YOURS. And I by the power given to me in Matthew 18:18 and Luke 10:19, I bind the hand of the enemy and its forces, who try to steal this word, and blind your eyes, and harden your heart from receiving this truth and acting upon it, and I loose the Holy Spirit and the Heavenly host to deliver this message safely to whomever God intended it to reach, because it will not return to Him void, but will accomplish what it is meant to do, in the omnipotent name of Jesus Christ I pray. Amen.

POWER OF POSITIVE THINKING

Why do we bombard our minds with things,that does not belong there. If you think that you are a failure you will be one,words  are quick and powerful so be careful how you used them against yourself or others,because the damage they cause will destroy your life and others. The power of positive thinking begins with your thoughts,you first have to do a spiritual cleaning,by ” Casting down every imaginations,and every high thing that exalt itself against the knowledge of God,and bringing  into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ” ( 2 Corinthians 10 : 5). And be not conformed to this world but be  transformed by the renewing of your minds,that you may prove what is that good ,and  acceptable ,and perfect will of God.( Romans 12 :2). God promises to keep you in perfect peace only when you keep  your mind  stayed on Him (Isaiah 26 :3),why would you want the stress and cares of this world on your mind,you can’t change your circumstances,but He can.

“Be anxious for nothing,but in everything,by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving,let your request be made known unto God;and the peace of God,which passeth all understanding,shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus;Finally,brethren,whatsoever things are true,whatever things are honest,whatever things are just,whatever things are pure,whatever things are lovely,whatever things are of good report;if there be any virtue,and if there be any praise think on these things”( Philippians 4 :6-8 ).Remember,that God never give us the spirit of fear,but of power,and of love,and of a sound mind 2 Timothy 1 : 7 points out to us,so where did you get it from,give it back,you don’t need that.Devout your mind to God ,that’s who it belongs to (Matthew 22:37),and He will take you places beyound your wildest imaginations and dreams.

BE FILLED WITH THE WORD

There is something magical about the word of God. Some people will get it but unfortunately some will not. First we must understand that the word is spiritually discerned, so naturally it would be considered as foolishness or nonsense to a lot of people.

Why you may ask? Well, it states in 2 Corinthians 2: 14 that the word is not meant to be comprehensible to the natural man so it is pointless to argue with others. However, for those of us who have the privilege of understanding and interpreting the word, we know a couple of things.

We know there is power and life in the word, found in Hebrews 4:12 and John 6:63. We are aware that there is healing in the word (Matthew 8:8) as well as exhortation/ advice (acts 13:15). There is contentment and security ( 1 Thessalonians 4:18), as well as truth and soberness (James 1:18 and Acts 26:25).

If you believe that I could go on forever about what the word has and what it can do then you are absolutely correct. The question I must ask you is if you understand it yet? If you do understand it then speak it in your life. Be able to explain it to or share it with someone who could use it in their lives ( Jeremiah  23:28).

Here are some helpful reminders that you may need. The word of God is quick, powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword piercing to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit of the joints and marrow and is a discerner of the thoughts and intent of the heart ( Hebrews 4:12). When Gods word goes forth it never returns to him void, it is filled with accomplishments and prosperity of what God wants and where he sent it (Isaiah 55:11).

 Allow God to order your steps in his word so that no iniquity may have dominion over you (Psalm 119:133). King David said to “Hide Gods word in your heart so that you will not sin against God “(Psalm 119:11).‘Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path (Psalms 119:105). That is confirmation from an expert on the power of the word and there are trillions of people who can attest to the facts about it. Gods word is like food , in 1 Peter 2:2 Petter called the word pure milk for the new believers. In Hebrews 5: 12-14 and 1 Corinthians 3:2,Paul said that Gods word is strong meat for the seasoned christian.  Now which category do you fall under?

‘How sweet are thy words unto my taste! yea sweeter than honey to my mouth!(psalm 119;103). Friends why don’t you taste and see that the Lord is good (Psalm 34:8)Receive the engrafted word of God today(James 1:21) because you will not escape hell if you keep neglecting the infallible and unadulterated word of God. If you don’t know God or His only beloved son, Jesus Christ (John 3:16-17),then it is impossible for you to be able to grasp his word. To know and understand Jesus, who is known as the word(John 1:1,14;Revelation 19:13),you have to read the word of God.

IF GOD WAS LIKE MAN

WOW! If God was like man most of us would be dead. So many people are full of hatred and unforgiveness. As soon as someone breaks your heart, does something wrong to you, or lie, cheat, and do all kinds of evil against you, what would yo do? If you had all the power God has, what would you do? Would you be forgiving? Would you be compassionate? Would you love unconditionally? or would you want to inflict hurt and pain on the person? Is revenge more important than forgiveness?

Would you like God to do the same to you as you do to others? Or would you like for Him to do to you what think about doing to others? How many of us would do what Jesus did in Luke 23:34, “Father forgive them for they know not what they do.” How  is it that you want God to always forgive you, yet you refuse to forgive others? Listen to what Mark 11:25-26 says,”And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in Heaven may also forgive you your trespasses (sins); But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in Heaven forgive your trespasses (sins).

Have you been harboring hatred and forgiveness in your heart against someone? This holiday season or before the year is done, why not let it go and forgive them, so you can be free and pray like Jesus prayed,”Father forgive them for they know not what they do.” Forgiving can release the blessings God has in store for you, if you do it sincerely. Please remember God knows our thoughts and the intent of the heart; you can fool man, but not God. Let go of all the hurt and pain of the past and allow God to heal and transform you into the loving, caring and compassionate person He wants you to be.

Don’t allow the devil to let you keep on hating, and planning or wishing evil on your enemies. God says vengeance is His, He will repay, Hebrews 10:30 says,”Vengeance belonged unto Me, I will recompense, saith the Lord.” Aren’t you glad God is not unforgiving like people are, if he were we would not have the opportunity of receiving His precious gift of His only begotten son Jesus. Speaking of gifts did you accept God’s gift of His beloved son Jesus Christ, who is the only way to God, according to John 14:6 and other supporting scriptures? If not here is your chance.

CHRIST-OLOGIST

Is there such a word as Christologist? or persons known as a Christologist?

We have Meteorologist who gives weather reports, Psychologists who study the mind and behavior, but how about a Christologist who studies and tells about Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son.

Christologist was spoken of in the old testament when Isaiah 40:3 says there was one crying in the wilderness prepare ye the way of the Lord. The first known Christologist was John the Baptist because he was the predicted one crying in the wilderness preparing the way for Jesus the Messiah, mediator, King etc.

Now today we, who belong to Christ, are all Christologists who believe, study and speak about Jesus Christ like Paul and the disciples who were Christologists. If you are ashamed of the gospel of Christ then you will keep it a secret, therefore you are not a Christologist. However, if you are willing to go tell people about the gospel of Jesus Christ,on the mountain top, over the hills, and over the valleys, then you are a Christologist.

Who did you tell about Christ since He saved you? How can you be a Christian and be quiet about it? Aren’t you proud to be a Christian?

SPIRITUAL HIGH

I wish the sex addicts, junkies, crack-heads, alcoholics, and all those who like to get high, could get some of this. I mean this stuff takes me pass cloud nine, I am still elevated pass the penthouse, and the skies. Now I understand when David said,”such knowledge is too wonderful for me;It is high I can’t attain it”(Psalm 139:6). This kind of high, that I am talking about, money can’t buy it, and if you could, you wouldn’t have enough money to purchase it. Listen, it’s not sold in stores, but the book it’s in is sold in stores, and you have people that’s giving it away for free. But, let me get to the point, I got up this morning, and my confidence was shattered, I felt depressed, down, like an outcast, so I decided to pray, and God nudged me to go pick up the Bible, I obeyed, and He led me to Psalms 139. Wow! After I read it a couple of times, I realize that someone loves me, cares for me, looking out for me from before I was born, and more. Listen look at some of the things God reveals to me: I am fearfully, and wonderfully made, yes I know, I am handsome, but of course I am, because I am fearfully, and wonderfully made. He  knew me before I was born, before my mother, and father got together, what I would look like. He knows, when I sit down, or stand up, He knows what I am thinking before I formulate it into words, the path I take, my lying down, even my ways, He is acquainted with, where ever I go, He is there, north, south, east, and west. Isn’t it good to know without a shadow of a doubt that God loves you, and cares so much, He sent is only begotten son, called Jesus the Christ, the messiah, the promise, the way, the truth, the life, and He is the only way to God. Listen to me, it’s written in the Holy Bible, read it (John 3:16, John 14:6, Philippians 2:9-11).

The only book, that tells you about; past, present, and future things, that has prophesies, promises, truths, and a whole lot more. The Bible gives you, confidence (Proverbs 3:26, 1 John 3:21, 1 John 5:14), strength (Philippians 4:13, Psalms 18:2), love(John 15:13, Ephesians 3:19), hope (Colossians 1:27,Psalms 31:24), joy (Jude 24, Nehemiah 8:10, 2 John 12), peace (Philippians 4:7, John 16:33, Isaiah 26:3, James 3:18), that no person, place, or thing can give, so you might as well serve the God who made it all. If you, desire to have all of the gifts, and promises God has for you, If you desire this kind of high I am talking about, go to the top of this blog, click on to the salvation page and follow the instructions, trust me, you will get a rush, or on a high that only God can give. WHO HE IS TO US

Just in case you never heard or you forgot, let me tell you about the God I serve:

He is my deliverer, He is my strength, He is my King of Kings, He is my Lord of Lords, He is my shield, He is my fortress, He is my redeemer, He is the great I AM. Do you know Him?

His mercy is everlasting, His truth is enduring, His grace is limitless, His love is unconditional, His peace surpasses all understanding, His joy only comes in the morning, Do you know Him?

He is Alpha and Omega, He is the Beginning and the End, He is the First and the Last, He is one of a kind, He does not report to no one, He is God all by Himself, Do you know Him?

He is Jehovah the Eternal one, He is Jehovah -Tsidkenu our righteousness, He is Jehovah-Jireh our provider, He is Jehovah-Shalom our peace, He is Jehovah-Nissi our banner, He is Jehovah-Shammah our present help, Do you know Him?

He is Omnipotent which is all-powerful, He Omniscient which is all-knowing, He is Omnipresent which means He is everywhere, Do you know him?

He is my comforter, He is my friend, He is my teacher, He is my guide, He is my healer, He is my doctor, He is my lawyer, He is my interpreter, He is my savior, Do you know Him?

He said, He will never leave me, nor forsake me ( Hebrew 13:5, Joshua 1:5), He said, He is my light, my salvation, and the strength of my life, so I must not be afraid (Psalm 27:1), He said, all things will work together for my good, just because I love Him(Romans 8:28), He said, I am more than a conqueror, because He loves me (Romans 8:37).

He told me to trust Him  with all my heart, and don’t depend on my own understanding, and to acknowledge Him, so that He can direct my path ( Proverbs 3:5-6), He assured me that nothing can separate me from His love ( Romans 8:38-39), He told me He is God, and beside Him there is no other (Isaiah 45:5), Do you know Him?

He told me that, His plans for me is prosperity, hope, and a future ( Jeremiah 29:11), He said, no weapons formed against me will ever prosper, and every tongue that shall rise against me in judgement will be condemned(Isaiah 54:17), Now do you want to know Him?

He told me, to tell you that, “Every good and perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variables, neither shadow of turning” (James 1:17), and He loves you so much that,”He gave His only begotten son that whosoever believeth on Him should not perish, but have everlasting life” ( John 3:16), He said, not to believe the hype, nor lies of the enemy, because He sent His son, not to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved (John 3:17), He also said, that His son is the only way to Him (John 14:6, John 8:32, Romans 5:21).

Listen, this is what is written about Jesus,”God hath highly exalted Him, and give Him a name, which is above every other Name. That at the Name of Jesus every knee will bow, and every tongue must confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God (Philippians 2:9-11), He never forsakes those that seek Him (Psalms 9:9-10, Matthew 6:33).
