WE ARE TOLD REPEATEDLY, “ DO NOT BE DECEIVED !!!” WHY ARE SO MANY DECEIVED?

Galatians 6:3 (ESV) For if anyone thinks he is something, when he is nothing, he DECEIVES himself.

Galatians 6:7-8 (ESV) Do not be DECEIVED: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.

Romans 16:18 (ESV) For such persons do not serve our Lord Christ, but their own appetites, and by smooth talk and flattery they DECEIVE the hearts of the naive.

1 Corinthians 6:9-11 (ESV) Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be DECEIVED: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. 1 Corinthians 15:33 (ESV) Do not be DECEIVED: Bad company ruins good morals.

Many of the things that the church was warned not to be deceived over, is the very thing that the church is very deceived over. It appears that people do not love the truth so as to be saved. 2Thes.2:10-11 It is not possible to love Jesus without loving the truth. Jn.14:15-25, Jn.12:48, Lk.6:46-49
