CONTENTMENT

PROVERBS 3:5-6 KJV says:
“TRUST IN THE LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy path.”

Hannah Whitall Smith said, “Those who are God’s without reserve are, in every sense, content.”

” Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content:  I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”( Philippians 4:11-13 NKJV).

” If anyone teaches otherwise and does not consent to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which accords with godliness,  he is proud, knowing nothing, but is obsessed with disputes and arguments over words, from which come envy, strife, reviling, evil suspicions,  useless wranglings of men of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. From such withdraw yourself. Now godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. [8] And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content. But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition.  For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness.  Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses. I urge you in the sight of God who gives life to all things, and before Christ Jesus who witnessed the good confession before Pontius Pilate,  that you keep this commandment without spot, blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ’s appearing,..”(1 Timothy 6:3-14 NKJV).

A quote from George Sheehan, “Success means having the courage, the determination, and the will to become the person you believe you were meant to be.”

Let us do our best and let God take care of the rest. It is easy to trust God when everything is going good in our lives. But we have to trust in Him at all times, no matter what happens. JESUS is our Rock and we can trust Him with all our heart and mind. Be the BEST you can be!

HEAVENLY  FATHER , GOD AND FATHER OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST. THANK YOU FOR LOVING US, AND  DIRECTING US. WE DON’T UNDERSTAND EVERYTHING, SO  WE ARE TRUSTING IN YOU, IN JESUS’S MIGHTY NAME WE PRAY. AMEN 🙏.

” Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy,  To God our Savior, Who alone is wise, Be glory and majesty, Dominion and power, Both now and forever. Amen.”[ Jude 1:24-25 NKJV].
