WHAT DOES GOD HAVE TO DO TO GET YOUR ATTENTION ? HE DID IT ALL ALREADY, WHILE WE WERE IN SIN. “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8 NKJV). What more do you want Him to do? What are you holding against Him? What are you blaming Him for instead of the devil ? Why are you constantly rejecting Him? Why do you choose to live in sin?
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.” (John 3:16-19 NKJV). IT’S TIME TO MAKE A CHOICE, AND A DECISION.
How Do You Handle Decisions?
“And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” (Joshua 24:15 NKJV).
” Elijah came near to all the people and said, How long will you halt and limp between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow Him! But if Baal, then follow him. And the people did not answer him a word.” (1 Kings 18:21 AMPC).
•When you need to make a sure and solid decision indecisiveness can frustrate your mind and make you mentally and emotionally unstable.
James 1:8 tells us that,A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
•Many of us are strong enough undergo and sustain hardship with people and things but are too weak to depart from these people and things when we should.
•In times like these the decision is not easy but its worth it. Just do it.
Proverbs 3:5-6 says to,
Trust in the LORD with all of your heart; and lean not unto your own understanding. In all of your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your paths.
•The Lord will direct you and even tell you what you should do, but He will not MAKE you do it. If you are too weak to make the right decision ask Him for strength and He will be your strength in making the right decision.
It’s time to stop blaming God for your wrong decisions . He says : “Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone. But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death. Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren. ” (James 1:12-16 NKJV).
“And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment, so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him, He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation.” (Hebrews 9:27-28 NKJV).
“Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God; but exhort one another daily, while it is called “Today,” lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. For we have become partakers of Christ if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end, while it is said: “Today, if you will hear His voice, Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.” (Hebrews 3:12-15 NKJV). “Now to Him Who is able to keep you without stumbling or slipping or falling, and to present [you] unblemished (blameless and faultless) before the presence of His glory in triumphant joy and exultation [with unspeakable, ecstatic delight]– To the one only God, our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory (splendor), majesty, might and dominion, and power and authority, before all time and now and forever (unto all the ages of eternity). Amen (so be it). ” [Jude 1:24-25 AMPC].
Blessed you are and blessed you will always be and to God be all the glory. Amen!
