Thieves only steal valuable things.
The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).
John 10:10 says, the only reason a thief comes ,is to steal, kill, and destroy. And
2Corinthians 2:11 warns us, be alert,Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.
The thief is satan the devil himself. Where there is stealing, killing and destruction the devil is at work. In every evil act that takes place, the devil is at work. He influences and operates through mankind since the Garden of Eden with Eve and Adam. The unfortunate thing is that many do not see it that way. They see mankind as evil instead of the devil. This is exactly what the devil wants. This is deception. Be not deceived. Open Your eyes; the devil is your enemy and not mankind, and Jesus already defeated him, therefore, we don’t fight him physically.
“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled”. (II Corinthians 10:3-6 NKJV)
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints— and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel,…”
(Ephesians 6:10-19 NKJV)
“Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, To God our Savior, Who alone is wise, Be glory and majesty, Dominion and power, Both now and forever. Amen”.[Jude 1:24-25 NKJV].
Blessed you are and blessed you will always be and to God be all the glory. Amen!
