Keeping Ourselves Encouraged
1 Samuel 30:6
And David was greatly distressed (in a major crisis)… but David ENCOURAGED himself in the LORD his God.
+Encouragement produces Empowerment and Empowerment Equips us for Victory.
+Wherever we need to make a change in life for the better we must do so without hesitation.
+When change is necessary not to change is destructive. +We must change while we can and while we have time.

“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall perish. Thou shalt seek them, and shalt not find them, even them that contended with thee: they that war against thee shall be as nothing, and as a thing of nought. For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee”.(Isaiah 41:10‭-‬13 KJV)

“But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob,(***add your name) and he that formed thee, O Israel, (****put your name)Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee”.(Isaiah 43:1‭-‬2 KJV).

“I will bless the LORD at all times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make her boast in the LORD : The humble shall hear thereof , and be glad. O magnify the LORD with me, And let us exalt his name together. I sought the LORD , and he heard me, And delivered me from all my fears”.(Psalm 34:1‭-‬4 KJV).

We can do all things through Christ which strengthens us.
