Most people don’t realize that they don’t lack faith to move the mountains, because, Jesus said, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed,you can move mountains. (Matthew 17:20).Plus He is the Author and finisher of our Faith.( Hebrew 12:2).Therefore, the problem is:

THE ENEMIES OF FAITH, WHICH ARE SIGHT, DOUBTS,FEAR,UNBELIEF ,REASONING ,AND RATIONALIZING. Allow me to break them down for you.

SIGHT :

“For we walk by faith, not by sight.
(II Corinthians 5:7 NKJV).

“For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance”.(Romans 8:24‭-‬25 NKJV).

“while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal”,
(II Corinthians 4:18 NKJV)

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen”.(Hebrews 11:1 NKJV).

Stop looking for things with your natural eyes, and use your spiritual binoculars, to see in the Spirit.

DOUBT :

And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?” (Matthew 14:31 NKJV)

“So Jesus answered and said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ it will be done. And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.”(Matthew 21:21‭-‬22 NKJV).

“So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says”. (Mark 11:22‭-‬23 NKJV).

“But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways”. (James 1:6‭-‬8 NKJV).

FEAR :

“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind”. (II Timothy 1:7 NKJV).

So If God didn’t give it to you,then return it to the sender,because it’s from the devil. Don’t accept fear.

“For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” (Romans 8:15 NKJV).

“There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love”. (I John 4:18 NKJV)

Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. (Joshua 1:9 KJV).

“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me”. (Psalms 23:4 NKJV)

UNBELIEF:

Unbelief kills,but belief cures.

So they were offended at Him. But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own country and in his own house.” Now He did not do many mighty works there because of their unbelief. (Matthew 13:57‭-‬58 NKJV).

“How can you believe, who receive honor from one another, and do not seek the honor that comes from the only God? For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me; for he wrote about Me. But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe My words?” (John 5:44‭, ‬46‭-‬47 NKJV).

“Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God; but exhort one another daily, while it is called “Today,” lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin”. (Hebrews 3:12‭-‬13 NKJV).

REASONING:

Some folks like to reason things out,and the Holy Spirit didn’t teach us that,it’s either you trust God will all,or fall short of His glory. The minute you start to reason,you let the devil in,and you remember what happened to Eve. God says to resist the devil, not negotiate but resist, and submit to God (James4:7). What’s there to reason or negotiate about, He said it,just believe it,accept it ,and live by every Word of God.

God also,said to cast down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against His knowledge, which is the word of God. ( 2 Corinthians 10:5). But what hits me the most is what He said in Isaiah

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord . “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts.

“For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, And do not return there, But water the earth, And make it bring forth and bud, That it may give seed to the sower And bread to the eater,

So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it “. (Isaiah 55:8‭-‬11 NKJV).

“As for you, my son Solomon, know the God of your father, and serve Him with a LOYAL HEART and with a WILLING MIND; for the Lord searches all hearts and understands all the intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will cast you off forever”.(I Chronicles 28:9 NKJV).

“Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion”. (Romans 12:16 NKJV).

RATIONALIZING:

The biggest mistake we make,is trying to figure things out,analyzing, and dissecting it,which makes God your second,third,and last option. When He clearly says,

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord and depart from evil”. (Proverbs 3:5‭-‬7 NKJV).

“Do not overwork to be rich; Because of your own understanding, cease! Will you set your eyes on that which is not? For riches certainly make themselves wings; They fly away like an eagle toward heaven”. (Proverbs 23:4‭-‬5 NKJV).

“Thus says the Lord : “Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, Let not the mighty man glory in his might, Nor let the rich man glory in his riches; But let him who glories glory in this, That he understands and knows Me, That I am the Lord , exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight,” says the Lord “. (Jeremiah 9:23‭-‬24 NKJV).

The Power of BELIEF in God, will eliminate the enemies of faith.
John 4:48 says;
Then said Jesus unto him, Except all of you see signs and wonders, all of you will not BELIEVE.
+Believing before we see and received is a Powerful Spiritual Principle.
+This is a principle of Faith that is needed to be exercised in order to receive from the Lord.
John 20:29 tells us;
Jesus says unto him, Thomas, because you have seen me, you have BELIEVED: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have BELIEVED.
+Let us not wait to see changes before we believe. This is counterproductive to our faith and a hindrance to receive from the Lord.
But Psalm 27:13 states ;
I would have fainted, unless I had BELIEVED TO SEE the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.
+Notice is this scripture we do not SEE TO BELIEVE, WE BELIEVE FIRST AND THEN WE WILL SEE THE THINGS OF GOD. AMEN!
+Remember we walk by faith not by sight.
