“But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy. Beloved, I beg you as sojourners and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the soul, having your conduct honorable among the Gentiles, that when they speak against you as evildoers, they may, by your good works which they observe, glorify God in the day of visitation”. “What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written: “For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord”. Self Encouragement in the Lord
1 Samuel 30:6
And David was greatly distressed (in a major crisis)… but David encouraged himself in the LORD his God.
+Self-Encouragement in the Lord is absolutely necessary in all of our lives.
+We need to know how to encourage ourselves in the Lord.
+ Know what the Word of God says about us, and proclaim and declare that Word to ourselves in Jesus Name! Some of us may need to look in the mirror when we do this.
+Encouragement produces Empowerment, and Empowerment Equips us to overcome all challenges, and to live in the Victory that we already have in Christ Jesus our Lord. Hallelujah! Amen!
+Let us Encourage ourselves in the Lord and know that since God is for us who or what can be against us.
•Continue to let the WORD of God be the standard for your life. Always LOVING others like Christ Jesus loves us while keeping our Faith, Trust and Confidence in Him.
