Do you have trust issues? Who do you really trust? Can you truly trust anyone? What does God say about trust:
“He who trusts in his own heart is a fool, but whoever walks wisely will be delivered.” (Proverbs 28:26 NKJV)
“It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man. It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in princes.” (Psalm 118:8-9 NKJV)
“He who heeds the word wisely will find good, and whoever trusts in the Lord, happy is he.” (Proverbs 16:20 NKJV)
“Thus says the Lord: “Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength; Whose heart departs from the Lord. For he shall be like a shrub in the desert, and shall not see when good comes, but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land which is not inhabited. “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope is the Lord. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, which spreads out its roots by the river, and will not fear when heat comes; but its leaf will be green, and will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit. “The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it? I, the Lord, search the heart, I test the mind, Even to give every man according to his ways, According to the fruit of his doings,” (Jeremiah 17:5-10 NKJV)
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord and depart from evil. It will be health to your flesh, And strength to your bones.” (Proverbs 3:5-8 NKJV)
YES. “Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; But we will remember the name of the Lord our God.”(Psalms 20:7 NKJV)
“Our fathers trusted in You; They trusted, and You delivered them. They cried to You, and were delivered; They trusted in You, and were not ashamed.” (Psalms 22:4-5 NKJV)
GOD INSTRUCTION IS:
“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” (Romans 12:1-2 NKJV)
Psalm 34:10, 15, 17 and 19 says,
The young lions lack and suffer hunger; But those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing. The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their cry. The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, And delivers them out of all their troubles. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the Lord delivers him out of them all.
“Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” (Romans 15:13 NKJV)
