CONFIDENCE INCREASES BOLDNESS

Hebrews 10:35 says,

“Cast not away therefore your confidence, which has great recompence of reward”.

+Confidence in this text means ASSURANCE and BOLDNESS of SPEECH,AND ACTIONS.

Examples of confidence that leads to boldness: Let’s begin with the three Hebrew boys who boldly declared that they will not serve nor bow to pagan gods.

“But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up.” Then Nebuchadnezzar was full of fury, and the expression on his face changed toward Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego. He spoke and commanded that they heat the furnace seven times more than it was usually heated. And he commanded certain mighty men of valor who were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, and cast them into the burning fiery furnace. Then these men were bound in their coats, their trousers, their turbans, and their other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. Therefore, because the king’s command was urgent, and the furnace exceedingly hot, the flame of the fire killed those men who took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego. And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. Then King Nebuchadnezzar was astonished; and he rose in haste and spoke, saying to his counselors, “Did we not cast three men bound into the midst of the fire?” They answered and said to the king, “True, O king.” “Look!” he answered, “I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.” Then Nebuchadnezzar went near the mouth of the burning fiery furnace and spoke, saying, “Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, servants of the Most High God, come out, and come here. ” Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego came from the midst of the fire. And the satraps, administrators, governors, and the king’s counselors gathered together, and they saw these men on whose bodies the fire had no power; the hair of their head was not singed nor were their garments affected, and the smell of fire was not on them. Nebuchadnezzar spoke, saying, “Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, who sent His Angel and delivered His servants who trusted in Him, and they have frustrated the king’s word, and yielded their bodies, that they should not serve nor worship any god except their own God! Therefore I make a decree that any people, nation, or language which speaks anything amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made an ash heap; because there is no other God who can deliver like this.”[Daniel 3:18‭-‬29].

Then of course Daniel:

Then these men assembled and found Daniel praying and making supplication before his God. And they went before the king, and spoke concerning the king’s decree: “Have you not signed a decree that every man who petitions any god or man within thirty days, except you, O king, shall be cast into the den of lions?” The king answered and said, “The thing is true, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which does not alter.” So they answered and said before the king, “That Daniel, who is one of the captives from Judah, does not show due regard for you, O king, or for the decree that you have signed, but makes his petition three times a day.” And the king, when he heard these words, was greatly displeased with himself, and set his heart on Daniel to deliver him; and he labored till the going down of the sun to deliver him. Then these men approached the king, and said to the king, “Know, O king, that it  is  the law of the Medes and Persians that no decree or statute which the king establishes may be changed.” So the king gave the command, and they brought Daniel and cast him into the den of lions. But the king spoke, saying to Daniel, “Your God, whom you serve continually, He will deliver you.” Then a stone was brought and laid on the mouth of the den, and the king sealed it with his own signet ring and with the signets of his Lords, that the purpose concerning Daniel might not be changed. Now the king went to his palace and spent the night fasting; and no musicians were brought before him. Also his sleep went from him. Then the king arose very early in the morning and went in haste to the den of lions. And when he came to the den, he cried out with a lamenting voice to Daniel. The king spoke, saying to Daniel, “Daniel, servant of the living God, has your God, whom you serve continually, been able to deliver you from the lions?” Then Daniel said to the king, “O king, live forever! My God sent His angel and shut the lions’ mouths, so that they have not hurt me, because I was found innocent before Him; and also, O king, I have done no wrong before you.” Now the king was exceedingly glad for him, and commanded that they should take Daniel up out of the den. So Daniel was taken up out of the den, and no injury whatever was found on him, because he believed in his God. And the king gave the command, and they brought those men who had accused Daniel, and they cast them into the den of lions—them, their children, and their wives; and the lions overpowered them, and broke all their bones in pieces before they ever came to the bottom of the den. Then King Darius wrote: To all peoples, nations, and languages that dwell in all the earth: Peace be multiplied to you. I make a decree that in every dominion of my kingdom men  must  tremble and fear before the God of Daniel. For He is the living God, And steadfast forever; His kingdom is  the  one which shall not be destroyed, And His dominion shall  endure to the end. He delivers and rescues, And He works signs and wonders In heaven and on earth, Who has delivered Daniel from the power of the lions”;{Daniel 6:11‭-‬27}.

However, in 1 Samuel 17:45-46 we read about David’s boldness:

” Then said David to Goliath the Philistine, You come to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to you in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. This day will the LORD deliver you into my hand; and I will strike you, and take your head from you; and I will give the carcasses of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel”.

+And David spoke confidently to Goliath with assurance and boldness of speech in the Lord.

+And David defeated Goliath in the name of the Lord.

+I speak this in faith on your behalf. With the exception of hurting anyone you have defeated that which has been coming against you by speaking to it CONFIDENTLY with ASSURANCE and BOLDNESS of SPEECH in the Lord.

WHAT’S ON YOUR MIND

Let us continue to Take Control of our Thoughts!

-Do not let negative and ungodly thoughts run uncontrollably in our minds.

-Remember we have the God given ability by the Holy Spirit to control our thoughts.

Philippians 2:5

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus…

2 Corinthians 10:5

Casting down IMAGINATIONS, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and  bringing into captivity every THOUGHT to the obedience of Christ;

1 Corinthians 2:16

…we have the mind of Christ.

+This is our righteous and holy mind. The most powerful, godly and beautiful mind anyone could ever have.

POWER OF THE TONGUE

What we think, believe and speak has a lot to do with the condition of our lives.

“For as he thinks in his heart, so is he. “Eat and drink!” he says to you, But his heart is not with you”{Proverbs 23:7}

“A man’s stomach shall be satisfied from the fruit of his mouth; From the produce of his lips he shall be filled. Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit”[Proverbs 18:20‭-‬21]

For “He who would love life And see good days, Let him refrain his tongue from evil, And his lips from speaking deceit. Let him turn away from evil and do good; Let him seek peace and pursue it. For the eyes of the Lord  are on the righteous, And His ears are  open to their prayers; But the face of the Lord  is against those who do evil.”{1 Peter 3:10‭-‬12}

Mark 11:23

For verily I say unto you, that whosoever shall say unto this mountain, be you removed, and be you cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he says shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he says.

+To Doubt and to speak doubt into our own situation is to prevent our situation from getting any better.

+To believe and call those things that be not as though they were is the faith that makes things happen.

+All things are possible by God and all things are possible to them that believe.

+God responds to those who walk by faith and not by sight.

GRACE

God’s Throne of GRACE

Hebrews 4:16

Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain MERCY, and find GRACE to help in time of need.

+God is Gracious, Merciful and full of Compassion.

+GRACE is God’s unmerited favor and kindness towards us. Grace gives us the goodness of God which we did not deserve and His MERCY spears us from the judgment and punishment we did deserve.

+As long as we did not blasphemed against the Holy Spirit, God will always forgive us of all our repented sins and iniquities. We may feel shame, regret and remorse but we should never feel condemned.

Romans 8:1

THERE is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus…

Jeremiah 31:34

…for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

Psalm 107:1

O give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good: for his MERCY endures for ever.

WHAT’S YOUR HOPE BUILT ON ?

My hope is built on nothing else but Jesus love, blood, and RIGHTEOUSNESS.

Our HOPE is in the Lord and the Lord is our hope.

HOPE: a feeling of expectation and desire for God’s promises to manifest in our lives.

Psalm 71:5

For You are my HOPE, O Lord God…

Romans 5:3-4

3 …we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation works patience;

4 And patience, experience; and experience, HOPE:

5 And HOPE makes us not ashamed…

Proverb 13:12

Without HOPE the the heart becomes sick.

+You are never without HOPE in the Lord.

+Blessed and Happy are those whose HOPE is in the Lord.

Romans 15:13

Now the God of HOPE fills you with all joy and peace in believing, that all of you may abound in HOPE,  through the power of the Holy Spirit.

+Hallelujahs to Jesus!!!

ARE YOU IN DENIAL

DON’T DENY GOD.

Matthew 10:33

But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

Luke 12:8-9

Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess  before the angels of God: But he that denies me before men shall be denied before the angels of God.

•How do we deny Jesus?

•Does anyone know that we have a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ by the Light we shine? or by the fruit we bear?

•Can we have a relationship with the Lord and the life we live doesn’t show it?

•Let us all purpose with strong intention from our hearts to give Jesus our highest regard in Love, Faith and Obedience, and in Words, Thoughts and Deeds.

•Our Lord is Faithful, Loving, Merciful, Gracious, Forgiving, and Kind. We may have left Him but He has not left us. He said He will NEVER leave us nor forsake us.

•He is with us. So we can always do all things through Him Who strengthens us.

+++Blessed you we are and blessed we will always be and to God be all the glory. Amen!

DON’T  LET HIM STEAL NOTHING

“The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly” {John 10:10}

One of the main things that the devil steal,is God’s word of truth.  Mark 4:15-20  explains how the word is stolen.

“And these are the ones by the wayside where the word is sown. When they hear, Satan comes immediately and takes away the word that was sown in their hearts.  These likewise are the ones sown on stony ground who, when they hear the word, immediately receive it with gladness;  and they have no root in themselves, and so endure only for a time. Afterward, when tribulation or persecution arises for the word’s sake, immediately they stumble.  Now these are the ones sown among thorns; they are the ones who hear the word,  and the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things entering in choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.  But these are the ones sown on good ground, those who hear the word, accept it, and bear fruit: some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred”. The devil steals our trust ,faith, confidence, and replace them with fear.

But prayer and the word, when it is planted in the good soil of your heart, will eliminate fear, and anything.

Psalm 34:4 says it clearly, “I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears”.

2Tim 1:7

For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a  sound mind.

1John 4:18

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear: because fear has torment. He that fears is not made perfect in love.

1. In Christ Jesus we are completely delivered and set free from all fears. The Perfect Love which is the Love of God casts out all fear.

2. NOT living in the Love of God makes us accessible to all kinds of fears.

3. Fear has torment.

4. Fear is a demonic spirit under the rule of satan.

5. When we completely delivered from fears:

A. We will be Bold and Strong in the Lord.

B. We will freely demonstrate love to others and function in the sound mind of Christ.

•Continue to let the WORD of God be the standard for your life. Always LOVING others like Christ Jesus loves us while keeping our faith, trust and confidence in Him.

•BLESSED you are and BLESSED you will always be and to God be all the GLORY. Amen!

GOD GIVEN PEACE

The Benefits of having the PEACE of God in our Hearts and Minds

•The PEACE of God in our MINDS prevents frustration and confusion in our minds.

•The PEACE of God in our MINDS brings clarity of thinking and opens us up to the Mind and Wisdom of God.

Rom 12:2; 1Cor 2:14

Our minds are renewed and we have the Mind of Christ (God).

•The PEACE of God in our HEARTS (our spirits) causes us to hear the Voice of God clearly from within.

•The PEACE of God in our HEARTS makes us sensitive to the inward witnesses and promptings of the Holy Spirit.

Rom 8:16

The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are the children of God.

However,1 Corinthians 6:17    says,    ”  But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit”.

•In our hearts (spirits) we are one with the Holy Spirit.

•The PEACE of God in our Hearts and Minds helps us to walk in the Spirit and to be led by the Spirit. •This also helps us to know the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

•Our Peace is not based on our circumstances, but on our relationship with God through Christ and the Holy Spirit.

•Remember Jesus is our Prince of Peace, Isaiah 9:6.

•When we are peaceful with ourselves and others it is also evidence that we are walking in the Love of God.

•Continue to let the WORD of God be the standard for our lives. Always LOVING others like Christ Jesus loves us while keeping our faith, trust and confidence in Him.

•BLESSED we are and BLESSED we will always be and to God be all the GLORY. Amen!

THE HERITAGE OF THE RIGHTEOUS;AND THE CALAMITY OF THE WICKED.

“Do not fret because of evildoers, Nor be envious of the workers of iniquity. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, And wither as the green herb. Trust in the Lord , and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. Delight yourself also in the Lord , And He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord , Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass. He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, And your justice as the noonday. Rest in the Lord , and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass. Cease from anger, and forsake wrath; Do not fret— it only causes harm. For evildoers shall be cut off; But those who wait on the Lord , They shall inherit the earth. For yet a little while and the wicked shall  be no more; Indeed, you will look carefully for his place, But it shall  be no more. But the meek shall inherit the earth, And shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace. The wicked plots against the just, And gnashes at him with his teeth. The Lord laughs at him, For He sees that his day is coming. The wicked have drawn the sword And have bent their bow, To cast down the poor and needy, To slay those who are of upright conduct. Their sword shall enter their own heart, And their bows shall be broken. A little that a righteous man has Is better than the riches of many wicked. For the arms of the wicked shall be broken, But the Lord upholds the righteous. The Lord knows the days of the upright, And their inheritance shall be forever. They shall not be ashamed in the evil time, And in the days of famine they shall be satisfied. But the wicked shall perish; And the enemies of the Lord , Like the splendor of the meadows, shall vanish. Into smoke they shall vanish away. The wicked borrows and does not repay, But the righteous shows mercy and gives. For those blessed by Him shall inherit the earth, But those cursed by Him shall be cut off. The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord , And He delights in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; For the Lord upholds him  with His hand. I have been young, and now am old; Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, Nor his descendants begging bread. He  is ever merciful, and lends; And his descendants are blessed. Depart from evil, and do good; And dwell forevermore. For the Lord loves justice, And does not forsake His saints; They are preserved forever, But the descendants of the wicked shall be cut off. The righteous shall inherit the land, And dwell in it forever. The mouth of the righteous speaks wisdom, And his tongue talks of justice. The law of his God is in his heart; None of his steps shall slide. The wicked watches the righteous, And seeks to slay him. The Lord  will not leave him in his hand, Nor condemn him when he is judged. Wait on the Lord , And keep His way, And He shall exalt you to inherit the land; When the wicked are cut off, you shall see it. I have seen the wicked in great power, And spreading himself like a native green tree. Yet he passed away, and behold, he was no more; Indeed I sought him, but he could not be found. Mark the blameless man, and observe the upright; For the future of that man is peace. But the transgressors shall be destroyed together; The future of the wicked shall be cut off. But the salvation of the righteous is from the Lord ; He  is their strength in the time of trouble. And the Lord shall help them and deliver them; He shall deliver them from the wicked, And save them, Because they trust in Him”.[Psalms 37:1‭-‬40]

LISTEN:

“Who is the man who desires life, And loves many days, that he may see good? Keep your tongue from evil, And your lips from speaking deceit. Depart from evil and do good; Seek peace and pursue it. The eyes of the Lord  are on the righteous, And His ears are  open to their cry. The face of the Lord  is against those who do evil, To cut off the remembrance of them from the earth. The  righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, And delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord  is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the Lord delivers him out of them all”.[Psalms 34:12‭-‬19]
