“Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord , The Creator of the ends of the earth, Neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the weak, And to those  who  have no might He increases strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall, But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint”.

{Isaiah 40:28‭-‬31}

Waiting on God.
Have you ever say to yourself that you are tired of waiting on God? Waiting on Him sometimes seems to be the worst experience or things we have ever done. But, as we get to know God, the more we realize that His slowness or slow way of doing things is not a bad thing. We come to the realization that it is for our own good. Have you ever sit and fantasized that God do to you what He did to Moses or as Jesus Christ spoke to His apostles?  And you can ask Them anything you want them to do for you? While you are fantasizing do you know exactly what you would ask for? And what if there were no conditions? That is you don’t have to ask for God honoring and noble things. What would be your request?. You see before you can start to wishing and fantasizing you need to know what exactly you need to ask for? Keep in mind, God gives you whatever you ask for. I would ask for what Moses asked for. In Exodus 33:12, God had let Moses know that He (God) was pleased with  him by saying: “You have also found grace in My sight.” Moses took that opportunity and replied to God, “if I have found “favor” in Your sight, show me now Your way, that I may know You ” (Exodus 33:13). In other words, I want to know my Heavenly Father because I want to have an intimate and close relationship with Him. Apostle. Paul’s greatest desire was the same as Moses,  “To know. Him” referring to Jesus Christ in Philippians 3:10. You may think of asking, “Paul, you are saying you don’t know Christ?.. But of course,  Apostle Paul knew Him. But his deepest yearnings is to know Christ better. That is what these three words mean “TO KNOW HIM ”

This is true of God: “The more you want to know  Him. The more you know Him, the more you are in awe of Him. The more you know Him, the more you want to spend time with Him. The more you spend  time with Him, the  more you feel you need Him. The best way to get to know people is to spend  time with them. So too when it comes to knowing God.” (MOG R.T.Rendall)

“Therefore the Lord will wait, that He may be gracious to you; And therefore He will be exalted, that He may have mercy on you. For the Lord  is a God of justice; Blessed are all those who wait for Him”.(Isaiah 30:18)

“Blessed  is the man who trusts in the Lord , And whose hope is the Lord . For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.

[Jeremiah 17:7‭-‬8]
