OPEN YOUR EYES

If our gospel be hidden it is hidden to them that are lost, in whom the god of this age or world hath blinded the minds of them who believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God should shine unto them (2 Corinthians 4:3-4). However, “How shall we escape if we neglect so great salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord and was confirmed unto us by them that heard Him, God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with diverse miracles and gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to His own will (Hebrews 2:3-4).

What else does He have to do for you to seek Him and accept His only begotten Son whom He sent according to John 3:16-17, for God so love the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 14:6 lets us know that He is the only way to God, the truth about God,  and the only granter of eternal life. 1 Timothy 2:5-6 lets us know that, “There is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself as a ransom for all men.”

Allow God to open your eyes as He did for Balaam in Numbers 22:31. Don’t let Him knock you down like He did Saul on the Damascus road in Acts 9:3-12. This same Saul, who later became the apostle Paul, prayed for the believers in Ephesus (Ephesians 1:17-20); the same prayer he prayed can be applied to us, “That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened that you may know what is the hope of His calling and what the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints.” Having made known unto us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He had purposed in Himself (Ephesians 1:9). Because the natural man can’t receive the things of the Spirit of God because they are spiritually discerned and it is foolishness to the natural man (1 Corinthians 2:14).

“For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God. Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity (excessive, unnecessary) of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.” James 1:20-21

.”Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in His sight, but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of Him with whom we have to do. Seeing, then, that we have a high priest, that is passed into the heavens,JESUS, the Son of God,let us hold fast our profession. For we have not an high priest who cannot be touched with the feeling of our infidelities, but was in all points tempted like as we are,yet without sin. Let us,therefore, come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find Grace to help in time of need”(Hebrews 4:13-16).
