THE GATE

There are two gateways available to us, one is wide and the other is narrow, however it’s amazing how most people in society tend to gravitate towards the wider gate. It was puzzling to me. Then the answer hit me like a ton of bricks. They choose the wider gate because, all their earthly accomplishments can fit through that gate, but the narrow gate is just wide enough to fit their body and nothing else. That’s why Jesus says, to follow Him you must deny yourself and forsake the things and people you love. You may not be aware of it, but there are two gateways to exit this world, and it’s very important that you choose the right one. The best one is the narrow gate, because there is no line or crowd; it’s paved with good intentions and righteousness. Matthew 7:13-14 suggests for us to, “Enter in at the narrow gate; for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be who go in that way; Because narrow is the gate, and hard is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.” Have you found the right gate?

Most people’s goal in life, is education, job, house, car, and all the earthly possessions they can achieve. Yet, after they get it all they realize that there is still a void. Something is missing, because they are not satisfied, they are miserable and frustrated, and still searching for the answer or the solution. However God, Our Father, and Creator didn’t make us in His image and likeness to crave His creation, and not Him as we see in  Romans 1:25, we have exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped the things He created, more than the Creator, who is blessed forever, Amen. God’s intention is for us to, “Strive to enter in at the narrow gate; for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.” – Luke 13:24 The reason why, you will not be able to enter is, because, you want to carry all of your earthly accomplishments, and yourself but it will not fit through the narrow gate. So are you willing to give it all up?

Jesus said in Matthew 19:24 that, “…It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the Kingdom of God,” because he does not want to part with his earthly possessions. What people fail to realize is what 1 Timothy 6:7 says, “For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.” So are you going to sit around  and wait for the gate to close permanently? Because, if you die or Jesus returns before you accept God’s good and perfect gift of His only begotten Son Jesus Christ (who is the way to the gate, the truth about the gate, the one who guarantees eternal life when you go through the gate, and is the only one you can go through to talk to God as written in John 14:6) it would be too late to go through the narrow gate. The gate is open, have you entered in? What is keeping you out? Leave the junk in your trunk and go through the gate, before it closes permanently.

If you are lost ask the Lord to open up the gate of righteousness, so you can go in and praise Him; Psalm 118:19 – 20 tells us this is the gate of the Lord through which the righteous shall enter. What’s your decision? I loose the Holy Spirit and the Heavenly angels to secure this word so that it reaches its intended people, according to Matthew 16:19 and Luke 10:19 in the omnipotent name of Jesus, Amen.

WHO ARE YOU HANGING OUT WITH?

Be not deceived;evil company corrupts good morals. Awake to righteousness,and sin not;for some have not the knowledge of God,I speak this to your shame according to 1 Corinthians 15:33-34. Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived;neither fornicators,nor idolaters,nor adulterers,nor effeminate,nor abusers of themselves with mankind ,nor thieves,nor covetous,nor drunkards,nor revilers ,nor extortioners,shall inherit the kingdom of God.(1 Corinthians 6:9-11). “For the wages of sin is death,but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ,our Lord”( Romans 6:23).However,Ezekiel 18:20-23 says this,”The soul that sinneth,it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father,neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son;the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him,and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him. But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed,and keep all my statutes,and do that which is lawful and right,he shall surely live;he shall not die. All his transgressions that he hath committed,they shall not be mentioned unto him;in his righteousness that he hath done he shall live. Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? Saith the Lord God,and not that he should return from his ways,and live? But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness,and committeth iniquity,and doeth according to all the abominations that the wicked man doeth,shall he live? All his righteousness that he hath done shall not be mentioned; in his trespass that he hath trespassed,and in his sin that he hath sinned,in them shall he die”. Finally,”But with many of them God was not well pleased;for they were overthrown in the wilderness. Now these things were our examples,to the intent we should not lust after evil things,ad they also lusted. Neither be ye idolaters,as were some of them;as it is written,the people sat down to eat and drink,and rose up to play. Neither let us commit fornication,as some if them committed,and fell in one day three and twenty thousand. Neither let us put Christ to the test,as some of them also tested Him,and were destroyed by serpents. Neither murmur ye,as some of them also murmured,and were drstroyed by the destroyer. Now all these things happened unto them for examples,and they are written for our admonition,upon whom the ends of the ages are come. Wherefore,let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall”as we are told in 1Corinthians 10:5-12. Behold,now is the accepted time;behold,now is the day of salvation(2Corinthians6:2). Seek ye the Lord while he may be found,call ye upon Him while He is near,says Isaiah 55:6. And Hebrews 3:7-8 make this suggestion and appeal” Wherefore,as the Holy Spirit saith,Today if ye will hear His voice,haden not your hearts,as in the provocation,in the day of temptation in the wilderness”.
