STOP FRETTING,START PRAISING

The time ,effort, and energy we waste by worrying and fretting. If we use that time glorifying and praising God,we would experience and see what God can do,like Paul and Silas did, during incarceration, and all hell break loose, because God step in and and deliver them. Read it for yourself, Acts 16:25-29
“But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were loosed. And the keeper of the prison, awaking from sleep and seeing the prison doors open, supposing the prisoners had fled, drew his sword and was about to kill himself. But Paul called with a loud voice, saying, “Do yourself no harm, for we are all here.” Then he called for a light, ran in, and fell down trembling before Paul and Silas”. What a Mighty God we serve. Therefore,
Let’s obey and stand on the Word of God in these troubling times. Jesus said let not your heart be troubled. He said fret not thyself of evildoers because they will be cut down like the grass. Above all be anxious for nothing, but in everything through prayers and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known to God.

Because our LORD God Omnipotent reigns and He is the same yesterday, today and forever. Please allow the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding to guard your heart and mind through Christ. So start thanking and praising instead of complaining, fretting and murmuring.

Help me praise Him, Holy, Holy, Holy Lord God Almighty who was, and is, and is to come. Oh! Magnify the Lord with me and let us exalt His name together. Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Thou art worthy, Oh Lord to receive glory and honor and power, for thou has created all things. For Thy pleasure they are and were created.

In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
But thanks be to God, who giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. nowa thanks be to God who always results in triumph in Christ and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge.

Remember 1 John 4:4 says, ye are of God little children and have overcome them, because greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.
I will bless the Lord at all times, and His praises, shall continuously be in my mouth. If you don’t know the God that create and owns the universe, take this opportunity,go to the top of this blog, click unto the salvation page and follow the instructions, then allow the Holy Spirit to lead and direct you for the rest of your life.

NOTHING IS TOO HARD FOR GOD

Ephesians 3:20
“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us”. It’s only when you are in a relationship with God that you realize there is absolutely nothing too hard for Him to do. The problem is not God, it’s us, and the truth is we allow doubts, fears, and unbelief to suppress our faith.

Do you believe in Him, His Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit, because they work together. Do you trust Him?
I love what Isaiah 26:3-4 says, “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee, because he trusteh in thee. Trust ye in the Lord forever, for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength.” In Proverbs 3:5-7 it says, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes; fear the Lord, and depart from evil.” Therefore, we can’t blame God for our failures, hurts, pains, disappointments, or anything. Most of the time we put ourselves in the mess and expect instantaneous response from God. How much better it would have been, if we acknowleded Him and waited. As James 1:14 says, “Every person is tempted when they are drawn away by their own lust and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin, and sin when it is finished, bringeth forth death.”

Nothing is impossible or hard for God to do when we are walking in righteousness, and when we are not. Yet, we will get a quicker response when we are obedient and devoted to Him.

When we study the life of Jesus we will see that it was His obedience and devotion to do His Father’s will, that allowed Him the privilege of instant success. We can see His impossibility in our lives if we follow Jesus, who is the Author and Finisher of our faith.

DID YOU DO IT,OR GOD

Do you really think or believe you did it all by yourself ? You don’t think God orchestrated and planned it? If God will not get the glory, then you have no story;if God don’t get the praise then you will not be raised; If God don’t get the thanks then you will be spank, have you forgot who woke you up this morning. Give God your heart and He will give you all things pertaining to life and godliness. Doesn’t God deserve all the glory for all the things he has done,He created us for His glory as Isaiah 43:7 points out to Us. “O ye sons of men,how long will he turn my glory into shame? How long will ye love vanity, and seek after falsehood? ” {Psalms 4:2}.
Listen it’s not about you or I,it’s all about God;Moses was trapped between pharaohs army and the red sea,yes the story was fascinating, but God got the glory;Jobs life became a wreck, because of a bet,the devil told God that if it was not for the things or gifts He gave to Job,that he would not serve Him,you see God knew where Job’s heart was,not in the abundance of the things he posses or owned, but in the God he served,of course the devil lost the bet,Job got double for his troubles, the story was a success, and God got the glory;David defeated goliath the giant as a teenager, fantastic story and God got the glory, the praise, and everything He deserved;there are millions of success stories out there, that God got the glory, and some  He didn’t;because people think they did it all by themselves, are you one of those people ,that is not giving God the credit He deserves? Are you ashamed to let the world know what He did for you? If you are ashamed of Him now, then he will be ashamed of you later,if you disown Him now,He will disown you later, trust me whatever you sow now you will reap later. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers us out of them all,as David tells us in Psalms 34:19. So give God the glory, and tell the story.

As Bob Marley said in one of his hit songs,’you think you are in heaven, but you are living in hell’,you can keep the story either way God already got the glory, you can keep on pretending like it wasn’t God,you can keep your mouth closed, but the rocks will cry out, because you refuse to shout it on the mountains, over the hills and everywhere, you telling the story can help restore someones faith, someones trust, someones hope, someones dreams, but you rather keep it a secret like an ungrateful servant. If you have a story let the world know,God wants you to tell the world how good He is,kind, and compassionate too;that’s the reason He sent is only begotten son Jesus Christ to bear your sins on a cross( John 3:16-17,John 14:6),Will you show God some gratitude by accepting His son (Jesus),just go to the top of this blog, click on to the salvation page, then follow the instructions,it will be the best decision you ever made, and the angels in heaven are rejoicing and so am I,and God is glorified. In Ezekiel we see that God is not pleased when you steal His glory.
Ezekiel 29:3, 8-10
Speak, and say, ‘Thus says the Lord God : “Behold, I am against you, O Pharaoh king of Egypt, O great monster who lies in the midst of his rivers, Who has said, ‘My River is my own; I have made it for myself.’ ‘Therefore thus says the Lord God : “Surely I will bring a sword upon you and cut off from you man and beast. And the land of Egypt shall become desolate and waste; then they will know that I am the Lord , because he said, ‘The River is mine, and I have made it. ’ Indeed, therefore, I am against you and against your rivers, and I will make the land of Egypt utterly waste and desolate, from Migdol to Syene, as far as the border of Ethiopia.
Now to the King Eternal,Immortal,Invisible, the only wise God ,who deserves all the glory, praise, honor, and thanks for using me to minister to His children, may His grace, mercies, and peace be yours now and forever,in the Mighty Name OF JESUS ,AMEN.

WHERE TO LOOK FOR HELP

No matter what you are going through in life there is only one place you can look for help, and that’s to God. Not the government, family, nor friends. David eloquently put together Psalm 121. Some people think it’s only for road travel, but when you are traveling through the problems, trials, tribulations and the rough road called life you better know where to look.

“I will lift up my eyes to the hills— From whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber.Behold, He who keeps Israel Shall neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord is your keeper; The Lord is your shade at your right hand. The sun shall not strike you by day, Nor the moon by night. The Lord shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul. The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in From this time forth, and even forevermore.” Psalm 121

There is no hesitation or doubt about where to look and who to look to. If most of us will look to God first, we would not be in the mass of troubles we are in. That’s why the Bible is our guide and Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the life and no one goes to God without going through Him.

God tells us to trust Him with all our hearts and lean not to our own understanding and in all our ways we should acknowledge Him so that He can direct our path (Proverbs 3:5-6) which means the problem is not God, the problem is us when we don’t listen, are disobedient or we don’t acknowledge Him in all we do and plan to do. He tells us not only to be hearers of His word but doers also (James 1:22). So if we take His advice and counsel instead of the advice of anyone else then we will be blessed as Psalm 1:1 tells us. We should not be looking anywhere else because God is our first and last option, He is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end (Revelation 21:6) so that’s where we should always look for help.

“Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law he meditates day and night.
He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither;and whatever he does shall prosper.
The ungodly are not so, but are like the chaff which the wind drives away. Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. For the Lord knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the ungodly shall perish.” Psalm 1

When you look to Him and call on Him the line is never busy and when you seek Him first and His righteousness as Matthew 6:33 says, He will take care of the needs in your life. After all He is the supplier of ALL our needs as Philippians 4:19 tells us. So there is no where else to look because He will not suffer your foot to be moved because you are planted like a tree by the rivers of water as Psalm 1:2-3 and Jeremiah 17:8 says; when your delight is in the Lord He will keep and preserve you. Because He does not slumber or sleep (Psalm 121:3-4), “He gives His beloved sleep. (Psalm 127:2)” So why sit up and worry if you give it all to God and are looking to Him?

“For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, which spreads out its roots by the river, and will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, and will not be anxious in the year of drought, nor will cease from yielding fruit.” Jeremiah 17:8

Have you been having sleepless nights? Have you been too busy that you’ve forgotten to seek the Lord first? Repent to Him today, recommit yourself to Him, allow God to counsel you and give you advice, allow Him to give you sleep.

EVERYONE IS NOT GOING TO HEAVEN

Matthew 7:21-27
“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.  Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’  And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock:  and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. “But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand:  and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.”

Romans 1:18-32 NKJV

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things. Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them. QUALIFICATIONS FOR HEAVEN

Psalms 15:1-5
Lord , who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill?  He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart.  He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour.  In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear the Lord . He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not.  He that putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved.
Acts 16:30-31 …Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
Romans 10:9-10
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Hebrews 11:6
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
John 14:6
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
Being devoted and obedient to God and His word or commands will get you into heaven, and Jesus showed us that it’s not an impossible task. ONLY A WARNING

Isaiah 50:4-5
“The Lord God has given Me The tongue of the learned, That I should know how to speak A word in season to him who is weary. He awakens Me morning by morning, He awakens My ear To hear as the learned. The Lord God has opened My ear; And I was not rebellious, Nor did I turn away.
Ezekiel 3:18-21
When I say to the wicked, ‘You shall surely die,’ and you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life, that same wicked man  shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand. Yet, if you warn the wicked, and he does not turn from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul. “Again, when a righteous man turns from his righteousness and commits iniquity, and I lay a stumbling block before him, he shall die; because you did not give him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he has done shall not be remembered; but his blood I will require at your hand. Nevertheless if you warn the righteous man that the righteous should not sin, and he does not sin, he shall surely live because he took warning; also you will have delivered your soul.”
Daniel 9:3-19
Then I set my face toward the Lord God to make request by prayer and supplications, with fasting, sackcloth, and ashes. And I prayed to the Lord my God, and made confession, and said, “O Lord, great and awesome God, who keeps His covenant and mercy with those who love Him, and with those who keep His commandments, we have sinned and committed iniquity, we have done wickedly and rebelled, even by departing from Your precepts and Your judgments. Neither have we heeded Your servants the prophets, who spoke in Your name to our kings and our princes, to our fathers and all the people of the land. O Lord, righteousness belongs to You, but to us shame of face, as it is this day—to the men of Judah, to the inhabitants of Jerusalem and all Israel, those near and those far off in all the countries to which You have driven them, because of the unfaithfulness which they have committed against You. “O Lord, to us belongs shame of face, to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, because we have sinned against You. To the Lord our God belong mercy and forgiveness, though we have rebelled against Him. We have not obeyed the voice of the Lord our God, to walk in His laws, which He set before us by His servants the prophets. Yes, all Israel has transgressed Your law, and has departed so as not to obey Your voice; therefore the curse and the oath written in the Law of Moses the servant of God have been poured out on us, because we have sinned against Him. And He has confirmed His words, which He spoke against us and against our judges who judged us, by bringing upon us a great disaster; for under the whole heaven such has never been done as what has been done to Jerusalem. “As it is written in the Law of Moses, all this disaster has come upon us; yet we have not made our prayer before the Lord our God, that we might turn from our iniquities and understand Your truth. Therefore the Lord has kept the disaster in mind, and brought it upon us; for the Lord our God is righteous in all the works which He does, though we have not obeyed His voice. And now, O Lord our God, who brought Your people out of the land of Egypt with a mighty hand, and made Yourself a name, as it is this day—we have sinned, we have done wickedly! “O Lord, according to all Your righteousness, I pray, let Your anger and Your fury be turned away from Your city Jerusalem, Your holy mountain; because for our sins, and for the iniquities of our fathers, Jerusalem and Your people are a reproach to all those around us. Now therefore, our God, hear the prayer of Your servant, and his supplications, and for the Lord’s sake cause Your face to shine on Your sanctuary, which is desolate. O my God, incline Your ear and hear; open Your eyes and see our desolations, and the city which is called by Your name; for we do not present our supplications before You because of our righteous deeds, but because of Your great mercies. O Lord, hear! O Lord, forgive! O Lord, listen and act! Do not delay for Your own sake, my God, for Your city and Your people are called by Your name.”

REPEATED SINS

John 5:14
Afterward Jesus found him in the temple, and said to him, “See, you have been made well. Sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon you.”
Some folks just love misery, trials and tribulation, sickness, etc. What bothers and confuse me is. Why would You be delivered from a sickness,an addiction,a curse,a problem, a person then go right back in.Why do people ask and seek forgiveness for their sins, get it, then go back and do the same things over and over again? It’s as the Bible says,Just like a dog returns to his vomit, so a fool returns to his folly (Proverbs 26:11). Most people think they can keep on sinning, then ask for forgiveness and think it’s over; yet they fail to realize that the wages or penalty for sin is death of some kind (Romans 6:23). Even though you are forgiven, your penalty or punishment is on the way, so why would a person want to add more punishment to what they already have, this is just not logical; it is like a consecutive life sentence.Trust me punishment is severe. So if you can’t do the time, don’t do the crime, or for the Christians if you don’t want to lose it, don’t do it (disobey God).

“For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in it and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the beginning. For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the Holy commandment delivered to them. But it has happened to them according to the true proverb: A dog returns to his own vomit, and, the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire”(2 Peter 2:20-22). Repetitious sins is the same as presumptuous sins, and like David prayed in Psalm 19:13, “Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me. Then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.”

Jesus reminds us that, “No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back is fit for the Kingdom of God” (Luke 9:62). There is no excuse for repetitious or presumptuous sinning, because, “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not permit you to be tempted above that which you are able, but will with the temptation, also make the way to escape, that you may be able to bear it”(1 Corinthians 10:13). So what is your excuse now? David gave us his solution in Psalm 119:11 he said, “Thy word have I hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against thee.” In Romans 12:1-2 Paul tells us, “I beseech you therefore brethren by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable unto God which is your reasonable service, and be not conformed to this world but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable, and perfect will of God.”

Hebrews 12:1-2 “Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

TELL SOMEBODY

Have you told ,anyone the good news ? Isaiah 52:7 says ,
How beautiful upon the mountains Are the feet of him who brings good news, Who proclaims peace, Who brings glad tidings of good things, Who proclaims salvation, Who says to Zion, “Your God reigns!”. And confirmed in Romans 10:15-18 ,which says,
And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, Who bring glad tidings of good things!” But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “ Lord , who has believed our report?” So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. But I say, have they not heard? Yes indeed: “Their sound has gone out to all the earth, And their words to the ends of the world.

However,Mark 16:15-18 says it all. And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

Jesus’ commission to us, His followers and those who believe, is to go out and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost and above all teaching them all things that He has taught in His word. And lo, He is with us always, even unto the end of the earth. Jesus wants us to be His (G.P.S.) Global Positioning System.

This is the problem with most Christians, why lawlessness has overtaken most communities, the Church has stopped teaching folks how to observe and obey God’s laws. The Ten Commandments has been eliminated and the ten ways to prosperity has been implemented which leads the people towards the love of money, instead of the love of God. There is nothing wrong with having money, it’s when a person loves to seek it more than they seek God that it is wrong and becomes a sin. It simply happens when you learn how to acquire wealth over acquiring the knowledge of God.

People forget that the God who made the earth and everything in it, including the human race and the money they crave, is still on the throne, He is still the God of the universe and is still in control of everything. And with all these senseless killings, adultery, fornication, partying and all these sinful acts that’s taking place God does not want to destroy anyone, that’s why He sent Jesus to show us the way and bridge the gap between God and men. Jesus in return sent us to continue His work of telling people God loves them.

He wants the world to know that if His children choose to do as Deuteronomy 31:16-17 says and seek the ‘god’ and things of this world then His anger will be kindled as we see happening now. But God says in 2 Chronicles 7:14 if they will seek His face and turn from their wicked ways He will heal their land. And in Joel 2:11-12 He calls us to turn to Him now while there is time and give Him our hearts.

As Hosea 10:12 and Galatians 6:7-8 says, it is time to sow ourselves to righteousness and reap in mercy; break up our follow ground, for it is time to seek the Lord, till He comes and rain righteousness upon us. So go to the top of this blog site, click on the Salvation page and find out how to seek the Lord.
