UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL

Most people are so religious, yet they don’t have a up-close and personal relationship with God. They go through the motions and cling to denominations and rituals yet their hearts are far from God. Jesus said it best in Matthew 15:7-9,

“Ye hypocrites, well did Isaiah prophesy of you, (Isaiah 29:13) saying, these people draweth near unto me with their mouth, and honoreth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me; and in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.”

Jesus did not stutter or bite His tongue when He said in Matthew 7:21-23 that,

“Not everyone that saith unto Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter into the kingdom of Heaven, but he that doeth the will of My Father, who is in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? And in thy name have cast out demons? And in thy name done many wonderful works?’ and then will I profess unto them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, ye that work iniquity.'”

That simply means you never had an up-close and personal relationship with Him.

When you know God up-close and personal, you will know His likes and dislikes, you know His commandments and you obey them; His word becomes a lamp unto your feet, and a light unto your path, you meditate on His word day and night; you will bless Him at all times, and His praises will continually be in your mouth, you will go to bed with Him on your mind, and wake up with Him still on your mind. When you have an up-close and personal relationship with God you will trust Him, have faith in Him, seek Him first, and acknowledge Him in all your ways. You will have no doubts nor fears, because you know He can do exceedingly and abundantly above all that you ask or think. Has He done any extraordinary things for you? The closer you are to God, the further the devil stays away from you, as James 4:7-8, reminds us.

When you are a child of God, the devil has no control, rights or jurisdiction, over you; he is restricted and limited; Because Jesus paid the price on the cross with His blood, and as Romans 8:1 tells us,

“There is, therefore, now no condemnation to them who are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.”

Which means to be up close and personal with God you must present your bodies as a living sacrifice that is Holy and acceptable unto God which is your reasonable service as Romans 12:1-2 tells us. Must I remind you that after you heard the word of God, trusted and believed it, you are then sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise {Ephesians 1:13}, and that seal symbolizes a finished transaction, ownership, and security through and in Christ Jesus.

ARE YOU A CHURCH GOER,OR A TRUE WORSHIPPER

The truth is ,you don’t go to church because you don’t love God,you don’t have a personal relationship with Him,so you refuse to worship Him. Your excuses will get you in hell quicker than you can blink. That’s the reason why they like to label church folks hypocrites, yet failing to realize that they are the biggest hypocrites in existence. I wish they would speak the truth,they don’t love God,don’t believe, and have no intentions of giving Him there all. Because, the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them who believe not,lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God,should shine unto them as stated in 2 Corinthians 4:4.

Genuine christians go to church,and worship God in spirit and truth,because they believe, and is obedient to the word of God,which tells us in Hebrews 10:25 “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together,as the manner of some is,but exhorting one another,and so much the more,as he see the day approaching”. However,If you are looking for a miracle or a fast response to your prayers, church is the place to be,because,Jesus said in Matthew 18:19-20″Again I say unto you that if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask,it shall be done for them by my Father,who is in Heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name,there am I in the midst of them”. Then James 5:16 reminds us to,”Confess your faults one to another,and pray one for another,that he may be healed, The effectual,fervent prayer of a righteous man availed much”. Which means you will find at least one righteous person in church, because they are obedient to God.

(Matthew 15:7-9) Tells us of the other kind,’This people draweth near unto me with their mouth, and honereth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.’

If you went to church, and did not receive or get anything out of it, then I must tell you the truth, (1)you went to the wrong place or (2) the meal (sermon) was not prepared and blessed by God or (3)you were not hungry, and your heart and mind was in the wrong place. Are you interested in knowing and having a relationship with God ,then get started by going to the top of this blog,click on to the salvation page,and follow the instructions, then allow the Holy Spirit to lead,guide,and direct you for the rest of your life.GLORY TO GOD.

 So don’t go blaming God or the preacher if you are there for show and tell,  entertainment, or shopping for a spouse, lets keep it real now.

GODLY THOUGHTS/ PERFECT PEACE

If we rejoice in the Lord always and turn all our issues over to God thankfully as Philippians 4:4-8 tells us we would subtract all the negative things from our lives, then we will be stressless, worry-free and less depressed. As a matter of fact, if we trust God and His word, obey them and apply them to our daily living we will not be in half the problems we find ourselves in. Even though we change and seasons change, God remains the same. The Lord wants us as believers to portray Jesus’ love, kindness and gentleness because He is coming back.

God does not want His children to be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to Him, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. The only person that can give us peace of mind, body, soul and spirit is God. And the only way to get it, as Job 22:21 tells us, is to acquaint ourselves with Him in order to be at peace. Then Psalm 29:11 says that the Lord will bless His people with peace, which means if you are not at peace, you are simply not His. Then Isaiah 26:3 tells us that, “He will keep us in perfect peace…” all we have to do to get it is keep our mind on Him. David says in Psalm 119:97, God’s law is his meditation. Meditation on God’s word is medication for peace. (Psalm 1:2; 19:14; 77:12; 107:43; 119:97)

Then in verse 8 of Philippians 4, God tells us what He wants us to meditate on: truthful things, noble, just, pure, lovely, things of good report, and praiseworthy things that are excellent. Then you will be at peace. These are the things God wants us to practice so His peace can be with us.

God’s peace can flow to and through every heart and mind. But, if you don’t receive Him through Christ Jesus and if you don’t believe in God or His beloved Son, then how can you expect to live with God’s peace? The Salvation Prayer page above shares some steps of how you can lead someone to Christ. There is also a salvation prayer in which you can pray to receive Christ.

Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way. (2 Thessalonians 3:16)

BLAME YOURSELF

The devil get the blame even when he is not involved,while others blame God. But the truth is you are responsible for your own actions.Most people hate to admit when they are wrong when they mess up. Of course we are humans we don’t like to take the blame, we prefer to blame someone else because it’s easier and it justifies our error, our faults, and our mistakes. Some folks even dress up or pretty up the problem so it looks like the other person is totally wrong and they themselves are right. But hold up, wait a minute, examine yourself look in the mirror, put on the belt of truth, is your conscience really free? Could you have changed anything? or done things different?

How many times have you blamed others for your mistakes, for the choices you make, or for the decisions you stand by, knowing you were wrong. Then you turn around and blame your parents, your spouse, your family, the devil, and you even have the audacity of blaming God, and asking Him why He made it happen or didn’t stop you? If you are in the same predicament or position you were in a year or more ago, even last month, what have you done to change it?So why are you blaming someone else? Examine yourself! Were you tempted? Did you yield to temptation or run from it? So blame yourself not others for the consequences of your decisions.

“So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don’t fall!  No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.” (1 Corinthians 10:12-13 New International Version). So examine yourself! Did you ignore or reject your way of escape?

God wants you to stop blaming others, and start examining yourself, your lifestyle, your decisions and choices. Look in the mirror at yourself and apply the truth from the word of God, which is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and will pierce even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart; and there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account (Hebrews 4:12-13). This is the only way you can examine yourself, because God’s word never lies. That’s the only way to flush the devil out of your life and be purified and sanctified, by start confessing and seeking forgiveness  from God. It’s better for you to realize that you messed up and confess, than allowing the devil to accuse you before God, and God has to send someone to tell you; like David when he messed up with Bathsheba and God sent Nathan the prophet to tell him of his sins(2 Samuel 12:1-13). Even though David confessed and asked for and received forgiveness, he was severely punished. How many of us could avoid punishment if we only obey God’s word. Examine yourself and don’t allow God to send someone to tell you.

When we examine ourselves it is then you can see if you love God or not. Do you love Him? Are you living for Him? If you have put yourself before God then you love yourself more than you love Him, and that’s a problem. Do you know who God is? Examine yourself and make a change for the better. But don’t stop there, find a Bible believing, God-fearing church who will help you grow in the knowledge of God.
May God give you the spiritual guidance you need to make the right decisions according to His will, from now on, and to examine yourself, and apply His word of truth in Jesus name, Amen.

Now unto Him who is able to keep us from falling, and to present us faultless before the  presence of His glory with exceeding joy; To the  Immortal, Invisible, and only wise God be the glory, praise, honor, and thanks for using me, to bring His message to you in Jesus name. Amen.

WHAT’S YOUR EXCUSE ?

Most folks invest a lot of time on their education,finding a Job,and a mate,but what about time for God. Is He not important as the other things you seek ? There will be no excuses on judgement day that no one ever heard of or knew of the way to God, Heaven, or everlasting life. Most people go out of their way to find out where the next sale, party or bargain is, better yet they spend most of their lives trying to get rich, get an education, house, car and everything else yet their quest or search to find the Creator of the universe is insignificant. The reason why no one will have an excuse is simple, the same amount of time you invest in search for a spouse, school, house, etc you can also search for God. It is written, “Ask and it shall be given you; seek and ye shall find; knock and it shall be opened unto you. For everyone that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth, and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.” – Matthew 7:7 & 8

So what’s your excuse? On judgement day, God is going to ask you these same questions: Did you ask about Me? Did you seek Me like how you sought for a mate or a friend? Did you knock on any door at all that has the emblem of the cross that represents what my Son Jesus did for you on Calvary? Because, if you had asked about Me, I would have provided someone to talk to you. If you had sought me I would have made Myself available to you, just like I did to others, and if you had knocked, I would have let you in. Because, natural people can’t receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to them, neither can they know the things of God because they are spiritually discerned (1 Corinthians 2:14). Which means if your carnal mind does not submit to God, then your excuses will be null and void, and your sentence is hell.

It’s amazing how people will go out of their way to obtain information on things that is not of God, but refuse to get any information on the God of the universe. God’s book, known as The Holy Bible, is the undisputed, infallible and inspired words of God, it informs us of Him, His attributes, His promises, His ways, His requirements for us to live, how to know Him, and a whole lot of stories and accounts of what He has done for others and wants to do for you,  if you will let Him. What is your excuse? What is it you are waiting for? It’s sad when you see people going out of their way to get love and attention from a man or woman, who doesn’t love them a fraction of the way God loves them. Yet they are willing to be committed to that relationship and give it their all, when that is all God requires; He wants the best of us, give Him your heart before you give it to someone else to wreck it.

Some use the excuse that they are looking for a sign from God; But God  In Matthew 16:2-4  tells us,”When it is evening you say, ‘it will be fair weather, for the sky is red’; and in the morning, ‘it will be foul weather today, for the sky is red and threatening.’ Hypocrites!  You know how to discern the face of the sky, but you cannot discern the signs of the times. A wicked and adulterous  generation seeks after a sign, and no sign shall be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah.” Stop finding excuses time is running out for everyone, Jesus the Son of God is knocking at your door, let Him in. “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock; If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with me.”(Revelation 3:20). No more excuses.

You will not have an excuse on judgement day, so stop searching for one, just be obedient. And I by the power given to me in Matthew 18:18 and Luke 10:19, I bind the hand of the enemy and its forces, who try to steal this word, and blind your eyes, and harden your heart from receiving this truth and acting upon it, and I ask God, the Father of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, to loose the Holy Spirit and the Heavenly host to deliver this message safely to whomever God intended it to reach, because it will not return to Him void, but will accomplish what it is meant to do, in the omnipotent name of Jesus Christ I pray. Amen.

STOP and THINK

Have you ever stop for a minute and considered,that if God decided not to wake you up, where you will end up? Or stop and think for a minute, that God is going to wait forever, for you to mess up your life, and the plans He has for your future? Yes,He is long suffering. But,how much time do you need to see,that what you are doing is wrong? How long will it take for you to realize that the results or wages of sin is death?Do you really think you are all that and a bag of chips? That the world has to stop and wait until you wake up? That you can make it on your own without God, especially in these last days.

No! I was not always a saint, but after a few close calls with death, you have to wonder, if the next time will be your last, and where will you spend eternity. Hell was not meant for anyone except the devil and his angels, so why join Him there? People are always planning for something for their life, like retirement or vacation, what about eternity? Stop and think about it. Do you really want to find out what it’s like in hell? or would you rather be in heaven? We have an account or story of what it’s like, from Lazarus and the rich man where one ended up in hell and the other Abraham’s bosom (Luke 16:19-31).

Stop and think for a minute, you can’t bring anything with you when you die. You can’t buy your way into heaven. You can’t bribe or payoff God. Are you willing to exchange the things of this world for your soul, for a chance at everlasting life. For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? (Matthew 16:26). Good works can’t save you either, just in case you are thinking that you are a good person. Ephesians 2:8-9, “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; Not of works lest any man should boast.”

The only way to get to heaven is if we accept God’s gift of His only begotten Son Jesus Christ, as we see in John 3:16-17. We must confess with our mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead in order to be saved, as written in(Romans 10:9-13). MONEY is POWERLESS

Money is not a god,it does not,and cannot love you. It doesn’t care for you,as a matter of fact,it’s just a piece of paper that can’t heal nor deliver you from hell.
Do you really think money has power?
Or that money makes the world go around?
It’s so sad when you hear people say and believe these things;because,these sayings denies the existence and Omnipotence of God,the All Powerful founder and Creator of the universe. For the earth is the Lord’s, and the fullness thereof it says so in Psalms 24:1 and confirmed in 1 Corinthians 10:26.When you examine the faces of the people on the currencies all over the world,they are either dead or dying. And the truth is their wealth,nor fame could not save them,neither did they nor could they take it with them. Money can’t buy everlasting life,it can’t buy youth,health,nor happiness, the love of money will only purchase a ticket to hell,and on most currency it says,in God we trust. “For the love of money is the root of all evil,which,while some coveted after,they have erred from the faith,and pierced themselves through with many sorrows”{1 Timothy. 6:10}.Can we take it with us,when we die? “Be not thou afraid when one is made rich,when the glory of His house is increased ;For when he dies he shall carry nothing away,his glory shall not descend after him ” according to Psalms 49:16-17.However,1 Timothy 6:7 puts it this way,”For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out“. Tell those who are rich in this world not to be proud,and not to trust in their money,which will soon be gone. But their trust should be in the living God,who richly gives us all we need for our enjoyment {1 Timothy 6:17 NLT}. How many moving trucks are following behind a funeral procession. So in conclusion the question is? What does it profit a man,or what profit is gained in gaining the world and losing your soul? This question is asked in Matthew 16:26,Luke 9:25,and Mark 8:36-37. However,Jesus said, in Matthew 6:32-33,”For after all these things do the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knoweth that he have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you”. Finally, Romans 1:25-32
Says,” Wherefore,God also gave them up to uncleaness through the lusts of their own hearts,to dishonor their own bodies between themselves,who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.

BENEFITS OF GOING TO CHURCH

People who are not Christians love to say that they don’t have to go to church to serve or worship God. Which is a true statement. Why is it true? Because,God is Omnipotent,Omnipresent,and Omniscient,you can’t hide from Him,and you can’t deny His existence. However, the churches function is much more than a place to worship and serve God, the church is a place for edification, teaching, exhortation, prophesying, encouragement and spiritual uplifting of the saints and much more. How will you know what God is doing in the lives of the saints, or christians today, if you are not in church to hear their testimony? Or witness the miracles that is still taking place. Unfortunately the church has gotten a bad reputation,because of false prophets who misrepresent God,and His people. But,you can tell who is real and who is fake by the fruit of the Spirit that they display. Galatians 5:22 &23 gives us the description of the church,which is the believer,they should be loving,kind,peaceful,joyful,gentle,good,just to name a few. Therefore,if these attributes,are not visible or evident,please don’t give them the title of a christian,they are simple a church goer,who doesn’t have a relationship with God.
The building of the church is just a structure to cover us from the elements; like rain, snow and the sun. It’s time for all of us to wake up and realize that the church has no walls, restrictions or limitations because we, the people, are the church. The building can not worship God nor can the pews but the people can. The building can not and will not give you a testimony of Gods grace and mercies because it does not speak.

Matthew 18:20 tells us that, “Where two or three are gathered together in the name of Jesus, He will be there,” this shows us that if we are united we will stand and if we are divided or alone we will fail and fall. When we are alone the devil will use us as a puppet on a string but when we are unified the power of God is stronger so with this knowledge he, the devil, has to keep his distance. Hebrews 10:25 tells us not to forsake the assembling of ourselves together but instead we should be exhorting one another because the walls will not tell or show you anything when you stay home.

“How is it then, brethren? Whenever you come together, each of you has a psalm, has a teaching, a tongue, a revelation, an interpretation, let all things be done for edification (1 Corinthians 14:26) this is what going to church does for you, read and remember. It strengthens us to fight, helps us not to get weary and keeps our eyes on the prize (eternal life). In Philippians 4:12 this verse tells us to “press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Jesus Christ”. Yes all kinds of people do go to church but when you have a relationship with God He will expose the rose and the thorns with horns.

In Jeremiah 18:2, God tells Jeremiah to arise and go down to the potters house and there He (God) would cause him to hear His words. Today God is saying to go to a church where it’s all about Him and He will have a word for you and an example of someone He (God) delivered from something. The church is where you can be transformed and made over by accepting God’s gift of His only begotten son Jesus Christ. Most churches have lost their appeal because they are more secular and try to be too much like the world. Instead of preaching about Jesus and him being crucified they teach on prosperity while souls, all around them, are going to hell.

Our Heavenly Father will rejoice if the enthusiasm we put into accumulating and worshipping the things of the world we could put into worshiping, praising and glorifying Him. If we can find the time to attend secular functions why is it so easy for us to find excuses to go to church and give our Creator our best? Then when hard times come around you have the nerve to wonder why your prayers are not being answered? Why trouble follows you around? Why you are not happy? Sorry to break it down for you but you can not serve two masters, it’s either God or the devil (Matthew 6:24), Heaven or hell. The choice is yours and it is quite simple.

Who will you serve today? The devil wants you to perish with him but God wants to make you over into a new person, a transformed individual. If you are interested then it is time for you to go to the top of this blog, click on to the salvation page and follow the instructions.

EXPIRATION DATE

Everything and everyone on this earth has an expiration date; unfortunately most of us don’t know it, act like it, or care about it. What would we do if we knew that our last day on earth is today? Would we think or act differently? Would we spend the rest of the time with God or the devil? What would you really do? It is appointed unto men once to die, and after that judgement (Hebrews 9:27). Most folks don’t like to think of death. Some think they will be back as something else. Why would anyone want to come back to sickness and diseases, hate and evil is incomprehensible.

Psalms 89:48 says, “What man can live and not see death? Can he deliver his life from the power of the grave?” That’s why, we should not fear those who kill the body, but cannot kill the soul; but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell (Matthew 10:28), all this is proof that we all have an expiration date on this earth, whether you want to believe it or not. The question is: Where are you prepared to go?  Hell or Heaven? Up or down? Paradise or parch in the fire? The choice is yours, yes it’s time for a reality check. The day is coming when you will expire from this life. My assignment is to let you know that you have choices and the decision is all yours, no one is forcing you.

“For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night, for when they say, ‘peace and safety!’ then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman, and they shall not escape; But you brethren are not in darkness, so that this day shall not overtake you as a thief. You are sons of the light and sons of the day; We are not of the night nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober. For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk are drunk at night. But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation. For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him.”                                                          – 1 Thessalonians 5:1-10

The only way not to have an expiration date is to follow what Romans 10:9-13 says,”That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead thou shalt be saved.” Because Jesus is the only way, He is the truth, and the only One who can guarantee eternal life, He (Jesus) is also the only way to God (John 14:6). How shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which at first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him, God also bearing witness both with signs and wonders, with various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to His own will (Hebrews 2:3-4). Just taste and see that the Lord is good; and blessed is the person that trusts in Him (Psalms 34:8).

Just read it for yourself in John 3:16-17, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life…” which means no expiration date on your life. GOD MAKES EVERYTHING GOOD AND PERFECT

God made everything good,but sin turns it ugly. In Genesis 1:31 it says, “Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day”. Then in James 1:17 it says, “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. And Psalms 103:5 says, “Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s”. So the question is why,so many people spend millions of dollars on plastic surgery,body piercing,tattoo’s,and make up daily,yet they are never satisfied. They have many different reasons for looking beautiful or staying young yet they fail to realize that plastic surgery and all the make-up in the world may keep the face young but the body will still deteriorate. Your age will still continue to rise as the years pass you by. In Ecclesiastes 3:11-13 it says,
“He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end. I know that nothing is better for them than to rejoice, and to do good in their lives, and also that every man should eat and drink and enjoy the good of all his labor—it is the gift of God”.

God had to have been thinking about the escalation of make up and plastic surgery when he asks in Matthew 6:27, “which of you by worrying can add an hour to your lives?” Technically if you are worrying about how you look this scripture fits the topic.

The following scriptures tell us in Psalms 139:14, that we are fearfully and wonderfully made. Then in Ecclesiastes 3:11 it states that “He hath made everything beautiful in its time…” In Genesis 1:26 we see that God made us from His image and likeness and it also states in the 31 verse that “God saw everything that He had made and behold, it was very good.” Everyone, I must ask you, why are you so worried and concerned about your looks? Does it boost your confidence? And if it does boost your confidence shouldn’t the scripture do a better job?

When you try to alter your appearance to look beautiful on the outside you must keep in mind that if there is no inner beauty even the prettiest woman can look hideous. However not having inner beauty is not where this message ends. When you change your features you are slapping God in the face for every little thing you dislike. You may not think this is possible but understand this when you change your appearance you are telling God, your creator, that you don’t like what He created, what he himself deems as beautiful.  Trying to change your appearance is saying you are not beautiful nor fearfully and wonderfully made. Be very careful how you insult God my friends.

The sad thing about today’s society is that some men seem to be occupying and competing for the mirror just as much as women are if not more. That only informs us that people are more self-conscious than God is conscious. People don’t deny yourselves, take up the cross and follow Jesus. If you are not happy with yourself, don’t expect others to be happy with you. Nothing or rather no one can stop the aging process except God, our Creator. He guarantees us eternal Life through Jesus Christ, which is the only way and the truth (John 6:40; John 14:6).

Whatever happened to having “the beauty of Jesus be seen in me, all His wonderful compassion and purity.” When you allow Jesus to come into your life, it is the only time you will have beauty all throughout your being.
