When the enemy comes knocking on the door of your life with sickness , debts, fears, doubts, trials and tribulation or anything bad, it’s time for you to fight back, and let him know that it is written, that, “When the enemy comes in like a flood the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him” (Isaiah 59:19b). Then there is 2 Thessalonians 1:6 “Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you”.
Don’t ease up. Keep stomping on him, because, Jesus in Luke 10:19 says, “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” Remember also that we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12). However… though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds, casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ”(2 Corinthians 10:3-5).
Even if the enemy takes you off guard, or surprises you, 2 Chronicles 20:15 & 17 says,
“…Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude (of trouble, debt, or whatever); for the battle is not yours, but God’s. Ye shall not need to fight in this battle, set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the Lord…”
You don’t have to fight all the time, sometimes God wants you to just stand still, and let Him handle it. Unfortunately, if you don’t know Him and the power of His might, or have an exclusive relationship with Him, or if you don’t ask Him, how is He going to fight for you?
However, you can change your relationship status today, by going to the top if this blog, clicking on to the salvation page, and follow the instructions. Only then can you boldly declare Isaiah 54:17, “No weapon that is formed against me shall prosper, and every tongue that shall rise against me in judgement I shall condemn. Because, this is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me, saith the LORD.” Psalm 91:11 says, “For He shall give His angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all His ways.” So welcome to the body of Christ.
