WAIT AND SEEK

The Lord is good unto those who wait for Him, to the soul that seeketh Him. It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord”
{Lamentations 3:25-36}. Most people get tired and weary while waiting for anything and anyone, but a Christian should not be like that, because, we have a God whose compassions, grace, mercy, and love never fails. He is not a liar or a deadbeat dad, and His yea is yea, and Amen is Amen. But the key to waiting patiently is what you do between the asking and the getting. Lamentations 3:25 & 26 says, to seek the Lord, hope, and quietly wait. Isaiah 40:31 says your strength will be renewed, you will mount up with wings like eagles, you will run and not be weary, and walk and not faint. But, you have to stay connected to the vine (Jesus), and abide in the Him, because without Jesus you can do nothing as John 15:5 indicates. While waiting Philippians 4:6 to 8, suggests that we should not be careful/anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and supplication with thanksgivung, let your requests be made known unto God; And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. And in verse eight He tells us what to think on,  like things that are true, honest, pure, lovely, and good things, to name a few.
In Joshua 1:7-9, God tells us that while waiting we should be strong, very courageous, observe and do what the Bible says by meditating on His word day and night. And finally Psalms 37:3-7 tells us to trust in the Lord, delight ourselves in the Lord, commit our way unto Him and He shall bring it to pass, and verse seven tells us to,”Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him…”

Are you doing as God suggests during the waitng period? Are you complaining and murmuring, or just praising and thanking. Are you harboring doubts, fears, and disbelief or are you like Abraham as Romans 4:19-21 says,” And being not weak in faith…he (Abraham) staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strong in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully persuaded that, what He had promised, He was also able to perform.” Now are you willing to wait on the Lord? Are you going to do as He said to do while you wait? Is your faith, hope, trust and confidence going to increase? As Ephesians 3:20 says,”Now unto Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.” The word of God is the power that works in us, because Hebrews 4:12 tells us it is quick and powerful, so let the word work.

It takes strength and courage in the Lord to wait upon the Lord. Those who struggle in the faith find it difficult to wait upon the Lord.
    Psalm 27:14
Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.
Blessings to you always my Brother in Christ.
