‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’{Jeremiah 33:3}

Prayers give God access to move supernaturally on your behalf ,it also go where you cannot go;  does what you cannot do, speaks life into things that you have no control over, and accomplishes what you can’t accomplish. Did you pray today? Did you intercede for someone today? The Bible tells us to, “Pray without ceasing” in 1 Thessalonians 5:17. We also see in Acts 12:5 where the saints prayed, when there was a crisis beyond their control, it reads, “Peter, therefore was kept in prison; but prayers was made without ceasing by the church unto God for him.” Why is the church,made up of Christians not praying to our God who owns the universe in the crisis we are in, instead of fighting against each other, and trying to get rich. This is the reason why sin is so rampant around the world, and the devil is laughing and having a field day with us.

Why are we fainting, when Luke 18:1 tells us that, “Men ought always to pray and not to faint.” Did you pray today? Not only for yourself , but for others, like your brothers and sisters in Christ (who are fighting the same demons), your family members saved and un-saved, your friends that are saved and un-saved, your neighbors who are saved and un-saved, how about your enemies saved and un-saved. 1 Timothy 2:1 & 8 says, “I exhort, therefore, that first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men,”and  verse eight says,”I will, therefore, that men pray everywhere, lifting up Holy hands, without wrath or doubting.” If you read verse three and five it tells us that this is good and acceptable in the sight of God, our Savior; For there is only one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.

Even Jesus took time to pray for Peter, because satan had desired to sift him as wheat, but Jesus prayed for him that his faith wouldn’t  fail (Luke 11:31-32). So why are church folks fighting each other, when our fight is not against flesh and blood as we see in Ephesians 6:12. Lets do like the psalmist in Psalm 119:164 and pray seven times a day, because the effectual fervent prayers of the righteous avails much as James 5:16 tells us. Please folks don’t underestimate the power of prayer, if you look through the whole Bible you will see the effect prayers have. When people pray, blended with faith, hope, and belief you could move mountains. If everyone decided to pray every day, at least two times, for the rest of their lives, all over the world, then the Lord will hear our prayers and heal our land, just as 2 Chronicles 7:14 tells us.

Listen, the only way to God is through Jesus Christ, John 14:6 and 1 Timothy 2:5 tells us so and countless others scripture points to Jesus as our Savior and redeemer. So whose report are you believing? You better get it right, before your departure time. “Now the Spirit expressly says that, in the latter times, some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of demons, speaking lies in hypocrisy having their conscience seared with hot iron.”(1 Timothy 4 :1-2).
