Stop feeling sorry for yourself,and quit looking down,the only person who is down there is the devil. And the God of peace shall bruise satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you {Romans 16:20},that’s the only time you should be looking down,is to make sure he is under your feet. “Lift up your heads,O ye gates;and be ye lifted up,ye everlasting doors;and the King of glory shall come in. Who is the King of glory ? The Lord strong and mighty,the Lord mighty in battle. LIFT UP YOUR HEADS.{Psalms 24:7-10}. When we are down and discouraged ,we need to do as King David did,in Psalms 42:11,ask yourself “Why art thou cast down,O my soul? And why art thou disquieted within me? Hope thou in God;for I shall yet praise Him,who is the health of my countenance,and my God”. Stop looking down,do as Psalms 121:1-3 says” I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills. From whence cometh my help? My help cometh from the Lord,who made heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved…” Don’t look down,look up and cry out to God,the creator of the universe and everything in it. How do you cry out to God? Through prayer. Philippians 4:6&7 suggest” Be anxious for nothing,but in everything,by prayer and supplication with Thanksgiving,let your request be made known unto God. And the peace of God,which passeth all understanding,shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus”.Psalms 5:1-3 says,”Give ear to my words,O Lord,consider my meditation. Hearken unto the voice of my cry,my King,and my God;for unto thee will I pray. My voice shalt thou hear in the morning,O Lord;in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee,and will look up”. So there is no need to feel down or look down,give it all to God. That’s what He tells us to do,in Psalms 55:22,and 1 Peter 5:7,to cast all our burdens,cares,and everything on Him,because,He cares.
