PRIDE BEFORE THE FALL

Be very careful who you step on, spit on, or lie on to get to the top, because you will pass them on the way down. One supervisor once told me that, a person must be careful of the foot they step on, because it might be connected to the buttocks they are kissing. Both  statements are true, and Biblically connected. Before destruction the heart of man is haughty, and before honor is humility (Proverbs 18:12; Psalm 10 :2). Isn’t it amazing that when a person has no education, no job, nothing of value to their name, they can be so humble, kind, meek and compassionate, with  all the good attributes that a person should portray, but as soon as they get that degree, job, house, car or some money to their name they are a changed person, they develop the Jekyll and Hyde personality, and totally forget who they were and where they are coming from.

We should never allow the pride of our hearts to deceive us, because it will bring us down (Jeremiah 49:16); one thing I want you to understand, If God won’t get the glory then you don’t have a story. However if we give God the glory, then it’s automatically a success story, we can do nothing without God, He owns and controls everything (Proverbs 28:25-26); lets not allow the fortunes of this world to change our concept of who we are and whose we are. Don’t get high-minded or arrogant when we get to the top, and putting all our hopes and trust in uncertain riches (1 Timothy 6:17-19). The love of money is the root of all kinds of evil, and the more you crave it, the further you get from God, which in turn brings sorrows into your life. You must remember that, we did not bring anything in this world and we definitely can’t take it with us; another thing you must realize, is that you can’t use money to buy your way into heaven, or out of hell; it does not buy you eternal life, or keep you from death, so why gain the world, and lose your soul. Godliness with contentment is great gain( 1 Timothy 6:6-12), so why not seek God, and let Him take care of you. THE BEST INVITATION

Come all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come buy and eat. Come buy wine and milk without money, and without cost; why spend money on what is not bread, and your labor on what does not satisfy? Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good, and your soul will delight itself in abundance. Give ear and come to me; hear me, that your soul may live…Seek the Lord while He may be found; call on Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his ways, and the evil man his thoughts, let him turn to the Lord, and He will have mercy on him, and to our God for he will freely pardon ( Isaiah 55:1-7).

This invitation was offered over two thousand years ago, and it is still good today, and is the best invitation ever offered to mankind. Don’t get it twisted, be misinformed, or misunderstand the invitation, it is better than ever; The Lord cannot get lost, and He will not always be near for the unbeliever or non christian, because when His beloved son Jesus Christ returns for the saints or true Christians the opportunity you have now will not be available to you. In the last days perilous times shall come, just read ( 2 Timothy 3:1-5; Jude 17-18; Revelation 3:14-22).

Listen, after the rapture there will be a tribulation period; “Little children, it is the last time; and as ye have heard  that the antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrist; whereby we know that it is the last time (1 John 2:18); anyone who denies that Jesus is the Christ, also that God is the Father and Jesus the son are liars and of the antichrist (1 John 2:22). So now is the time to turn from sin and turn to God, who will abundantly pardon you; now is not the time to be trying to figure things out, because God’s ways and thoughts are not like ours (Isaiah 55:8-9).

It’s time to stop debating about who wrote the Bible, and that you have been hearing this story for a long time, that’s just the trick of the devil to confuse, blind and bound you. Every book on earth was written by a person, but only one was inspired by God, which is useful for teaching on all subjects, tells us right from wrong, is good for rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness, it tells us of all prophecies past, present, and future, it tells us about God’s only begotten son, informs us of all his promises and judgments, and the best of all how to get eternal life, and the only book that is validated by God’s creation, signs, wonders, and man, if you want to debate, reject or disqualify those facts, then you are lost, an antichrist, and you are doomed. All that I stated above is scriptural (2 Timothy 3:16-17; John 3:16-17; Genesis 1;etc.). But the natural man receives not the things of the spirit of God; for they are foolishness unto him, neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned (1 Corinthians 2:14).

The inspiration  of the Almighty giveth understanding (Job 32:8). God’s word is powerful and sharper than a two-edge sword…(Hebrew 4:12). Remember, when God’s word is spoken it never returns to Him void, but it always accomplishes what He pleases, and shall prosper in the thing for which He sent it(Isaiah 55:11). How shall we escape if we neglect so great an invitation to salvation; which at first was spoken by the Lord, was confirmed by those who heard it; God also bearing them witness, both with signs, wonders, divers miracles, and the gifts of the Holy Spirit according to His will (Hebrews 2:1-4).

GODLY WISDOM

God gives us wisdom; out of His mouth cometh knowledge, and understanding, how we apply it to our life, or use it for His good or our own selfish ambitions is our choice.I would rather be a fool for God,than be wise for the devil; These three God-given attributes(wisdom, knowledge, & understanding) can take you places where the devil can’t, and they can  give you peace that surpasses all understanding, supernatural strength that only comes from God;like David killing goliath. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction (Proverbs 1:7). The wise are known for their understanding, prudence, and discernment; knowledge is easy to him, that understandeth, and he that hath knowledge sparest words.

Understanding is a fountain of life to those who have it. A wise person sets his goals on heavenly gains, because Godly wisdom is from above, and is pure, peaceable, gentle and easy to be entreated; it’s also full of mercy, good fruits, its without partiality and without hypocrisy (James 3:17). However we speak wisdom among them that are perfect; yet not the wisdom of this age…but we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the ages unto our glory ( 1 Corinthians 2:6-7). Wisdom is the principal thing, therefore get wisdom, and with all thy getting get understanding(Proverbs 4:5-7). Wisdom will  allow you to make good, sound judgment, it will protect and guide you.

People who reject the word of God, reject the wisdom that they would have gotten from the word (Jeremiah 8:9), however they would prefer to pay the  psychologist & behavioral analysis, who do not have God’s word in them, to fill you with the devil’s junk &  medication which makes them worse. The Bible says, as Christians we should be of the same mind one toward another, mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate, be not wise in your own opinion (Romans 12:16). The Holy scriptures is able to make us wise unto salvation (2 Timothy 3:15). We must never forget, that the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men (1 Corinthians 1:25) Godly wisdom tells you God’s thoughts are not like ours, neither are His ways so you don’t do anything without consulting God (Isaiah 55 :8-9). The Bible says, If  anyone lacks wisdom, let him ask God who gives it freely (James 1:5).

I bring all this to your attention to let you know that, when Jesus returns there will be no excuse, and you have made a choice to go to hell, rather than accept God’s gift of His only begotten Jesus Christ (John 3:16-17). SPIRITUAL SUPER-DADDY

In life most people depend on a job, spouse, parents, a sugar daddy or sugar mommy to take care of them, which means they have to do something to keep the supplier of that money, food, clothes or shelter going. Some people do some unimaginable things, that is unethical, unrighteous, and plain disgusting, when you have to sell your soul to the devil, because of pride or greed then it’s unholy.

However, I must introduce you to my spiritual  super-daddy, who is also my sugar-daddy, my God, my redeemer, and my King who we all can depend on, trust, and who never leaves or forsake us. A sugar-daddy or mommy is not going to give you anything, if you are not connected to them in someway, or doing something that will merit the rewards; Our Heavenly Father is some what the same way, the big difference is we are not required to perform duties that is not Holy, acceptable, or reasonable to God;There is no father like Him,none that can be compared to Him,He is one of a kind.

Our Fathers requirements are simple: Delight yourself in the Lord,and He will give you the desires of your heart(Psalm 37:4); ask, seek, knock,and He will answer (Luke 11:9-10), but before you can do all that you must first accept God’s gift of His only begotten son Jesus Christ (John 3:16-17), then confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the  dead then you will be saved (Romans 10:9); Here is another gift, ‘repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit’ (Acts 2:38).

Now that you established a relationship with God, He has taken on the role as your super daddy, spiritual daddy, and your sugar daddy, so for you to start receiving those good, and perfect gifts which only comes from above ( James 1:17); we must present our bodies as living sacrifice, Holy and acceptable unto God which is our reasonable service (Romans 12:1). Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and everything will be added unto you (Matthew 6:33); but my God shall supply all of my needs according to His riches in glory through Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19); and whatever we ask, we receive of Him, because we keep His commandments, and do those things which are pleasing to Him (1 John 3:22); and whatever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the son. If ye shall ask anything in my name,I  will do it (John 14:13-14); He told us to ask and it shall be given unto us, seek and we will find, knock and it will be open unto us (Luke 11:9-10).

Trusting in God has afforded us the privilege, confidence and trust in our spiritual super daddy, that come what may He is able to see us through, King David tells us that, he will trust  God until his calamities have ceased to exist (Psalm 57:1). INSIGHT IN LIFE

If you look at the world, you will be distressed; If you look within, you will be depressed. But if you look to Christ you will be at rest, most people do not understand God’s truth because they are not ready to change, refuse to change, or don’t care about change. God’s word is the truth and it will take you places where no one or no other book can take you.

Are you as a believer ready to take your spirituality to a higher level, to study to show yourself approved, a workman that is not ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth ( 2 Timothy 2:15), God is looking for the best, are you the best? So give Him your best in everything you do or say; do it all to the glory of God ( 1 Corinthians 10:31) Do you want to glorify God? Patience is needed when we wait for the manifestation of Gods will or what we have asked God for. Even more patience is needed when our results are not immediate. If we allow the enemy to plant seeds of anxiousness or worry in us we will start doubting; and doubt opens the door to fear.These things are of the devil (and not of God) which hinders or takes away the manifestation of the promises of God in our lives.

…We thought about positive things instead of negative things? Have you ever noticed that if you focus on what you don’t have you feel more miserable? Even if you focus on losing your job, failing a test, not having enough money to pay the bills or how someone close to you hurt you in a way you never thought they would; the result of thinking on these things leads to nowhere but feeling discouraged, unhappy, miserable, and without faith in God for whatever you need(Philippians 4:19).

QUICK ANSWERS

Did you know that God also uses caller I.D.? If you are a person, who always murmurs and complains, do you really think God wants to listen to you all day; Some people  are just never happy or satisfied, it seems like they always have problems, always fussing about something, or someone. The Bible says, bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of christ(Galatians 6:2), yes the Bible did say so, but it does not mean murmuring, complaining, fussing, and fighting. I must tell you the truth, that’s a tactic of the devil to keep you in the wilderness for forty years, or till you die; murmuring, complaining, and fussing is of the devil, and that’s sinning against God, and Jesus did not intend for us to bear other people’s sin, sorry you are on your own. Don’t you just love it when people quote scriptures out of context, so you can correct them. Stop listening to the devil, if you want quick answers to your prayers, it requires some adjustment to your attitude and lifestyle, which are : righteousness, effectual and fervent prayers, then back those up with thanksgiving, praise, and worship to God. Let me break it down to you, the Bible says the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much ( James 5:16). Righteousness my friends is to be in right standing with God, a relationship with him, a righteous person does not allow sin to dwell in them, their motto is : “If  we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness”(1 John 1:9). A righteous person knows that the eyes of the Lord is on him, and God’s ears are open to his prayers (1 Peter 3:12), King David furthered by stating,”I have been young and now old; yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread “( Psalms 37:25). Then Jesus tells us,”To seek God first and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you”(Matthew 6:33). Now lets put them all together to work for our good: Effectual means effective, fervent means a strong feeling, righteous means you are favorably right with God, availed means it’s already a done deal, then to put the icing on your prayers, just start singing, dancing, praising, and thanking God. Just in case you didn’t know, the Lord inhabits the praise of His people (Psalms 22:3). King David, praised God seven times a day, because of His righteous judgements(Psalm 119:164), that’s why David’s prayers were answered, he even dance himself out of his clothes praising God, that’s how you get quick answers folks.

To know God, you must know His only begotten son Jesus Christ, He is the only way to God, here are a few scriptures to back it up (John 3:16-17, Romans 10:9, John 14:6, Romans 3:21-24). STRENGTH FROM ABOVE

The devil will hit you where the sun don’t shine, and you need to know that he is a tactical expert, very strategic, cunning in spiritual warfare, and he does not fight fair. You ever notice that when something goes wrong, like a sequence of events as if all hell broke loose on your life. Well you need to know that, the devil is like a roaring lion walking about, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8), therefore he knows where, when, and how to hit you, he holds no punches, and he won’t stop until you drop.

But that’s ok, don’t worry and don’t fret because Jesus came to earth, to defeat him. Jesus gave us back the power and authority, He showed us how to use it, and when to use it. Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy; and nothing shall by any means hurt you (Luke 10:19). We also have Jesus’ great commission, “To go into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature, he that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. These signs shall follow those who believe: In Jesus name they shall cast out devils, they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them, they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover (Mark 16:15-18).

The devil does not want you to know, that you have all that power, and he doesn’t want you to use it, so he walks around collecting information, and accumulating data on your life, so he can attack you at your most vulnerable moment. But children of God, when you read, and hear God’s Word, then apply it to your life, you become more than a conqueror(Romans 8:37). Greater is God, who is in you than he that is in the world (1 John 4:4). What then shall we say, If God be for us, who can be against us?(Romans 8:31).

That’s when the devil gets meaner and starts using your family, friends, and finances against you. Most people who are unaware of the devils devises spend money on these so-called experts like, psychologists, behavioral analysis, and medicines, yet failing to realize, that the devil is on a rampage, trying to cripple and weaken us, again failing to realize and know that, when we are weak, that’s when Our Heavenly Father becomes strong (1 Corinthians 4:10). As believers, we also need to know that God’s strength is made perfect in our weakness ( 2 Corinthians 12:9-10).

Lets stand firm, study, and be rooted in God’s word, so that the devils tactics, and devises will be ineffective, and useless against the child of God. There are many accounts, evidence, and stories of people who have overcome and are conquerors, just read Hebrews 11:1-34; and start exercising your God-given authority. The only way to have access to God’s power is through His only begotten son, Jesus Christ, John 3:16-17, Romans 10:9, John 14:6 are the scriptures to confirm this fact, so to get to know Him go to the top of this blog, click on to the salvation page, then follow the instructions. It will be the best thing you ever did. To receive protection from the enemy, you have to go to the specialist, His name is Jesus.

GODS DISPLEASURE

How reassuring it is to read the Bible, and it tells you that God sees, our efforts to obey His commands; Doing the things that are pleasing to Him, the labor we put in, with patience and endurance, God is pleased. He is also pleased, when as Christians we don’t tolerate or find excuses for evil people, because we should not have fellowship with the unfruitful work of darkness but rather reprove them (Ephesians 5:11). What fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? (2 Corinthians 6:14).

 God loves when we study the Bible to show ourselves approved, to rightly divide His word of truth, not ours, and not be ashamed to tell it like it is(2 Timothy 2:15). Studying, enables us to examine the claims of those who say, they are apostles but are not, then you will discover that they are liars, God also makes a note of it when we patiently suffer for Him without quitting (Revelation 2:2-3).

God’s word tells us in the Bible, “Let no man deceive you with vain words; for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the sons of disobedience; be not ye partakers of them” (Ephesians 5:6-7). When you are a child of God, especially for a while, you know Our Heavenly Father sees, and knows everything, I just love when He praises, and compliments us before He tells us our faults, and issues that displeases Him. 

What displeases God the most, is to see His children’s love for Him diminish, we don’t love Him like we used to, like when we first received Him. Do you only love Him, because you want something? or is it for show? or the right thing? maybe it’s to impress someone? Now ,if we as humans can tell when someone does not love us, don’t you think Our Heavenly Father, who sees and knows the contents of our hearts, and thoughts will know that the fire, desire, and love behind your praise, thanks, and worship to, and for Him is not authentic(Psalm 44:21; Revelation 2:23). Let’s be real, because He is real, God wants us to go back to how it was when we first received Him, otherwise He has to do something about it(Revelation 2:4-5).

Just do as God asks and requires of us, and we will have the privilege of eating from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God (Revelation 2:7; Revelation 22:2). God’s word my friends never returns void(Isaiah 55:11); God does not lie, nor is he slack with His promises (Numbers 23:19, 2 Peter 3:9). How shall we escape if we neglect God(Hebrews 2:3). Come on taste and see that the Lord is good, blessed is the person who trust in Him (Psalm 34:8; Psalm 119:103; 1 Peter 2:3).

We are living in perilous times, and the only person that can help us is God, through His son Jesus Christ.
