DO YOU KNOW OR LOVE HIM?

To know Him, is to love Him, and to love Him requires a relationship with Him. Most people think that they know someone when they have a casual relationship with them, but if you never spend quality time with a person how can you say you know them, or love them. Most people say they love Jesus or God, but the only time they remember Him is on Sunday, they only acknowledge Him when they are in trouble or need something, and they never obey His commands, or keep His word. However, Jesus said in John 14:21 & 23, “He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me; and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him… If a man loves me, he will keep my words; and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.”

What people fail to understand is that just going through the motions of going to church every Sunday or whenever you go, or just singing on the choir, or just serving in some capacity in the church, does not mean that you know God and are guaranteed a trip to eternity or everlasting life. How do I know that? Read it for yourself in Matthew 7:21-23, “Not everyone that saith unto me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter into the kingdom of Heaven, but he that doeth the will of my Father in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? And in thy name have cast out demons? And in thy name done many wonderful works?’ And then will I profess unto them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”

We should all examine ourselves to make sure that we are worshiping, serving and loving God in Spirit and in truth, as John 4:24 says, “God is a Spirit; and they that worship Him, must worship Him in Spirit and in truth.” One of the truths and proofs of our love for God is not to love the world and its things, 1 John 2:15 warns us, “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.”

Where most people have it twisted, and confused, is that God gives us all things, but as 1 Timothy 6:17 says, it is to richly enjoy, not to be worshiped or put before Him. That is why I love Paul’s advise in 1 Corinthians 9:24-27, especially to those who are ministers of the gospel, “Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it; and everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown. Therefore, I run thus: Not with uncertainty. Thus I fight: Not as one who beats the air. But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified.” Another good advise is found in Hebrews 12:14-15, “Follow peace with all men, and Holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord, looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God, lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and by it many be defiled.” However, Jesus, advises us in Matthew 26:41 to, “Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation; the Spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.” 1 Peter 4:7 says, “But the end of all things is at hand, be ye therefore, sober-minded and watch unto prayer.” 1 Peter 5:8 says, “Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary, the devil, like a roaring lion walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.”

Will you be ready to go if Jesus returns right now? Do you know Him personally through having a relationship with Him? Or are you a fake and a pretender just going through the motions? I exercise my power and authority in the name of Jesus to bind every tactic of the enemy that will try to stop, hinder, or prevent this word from reaching its intended people. I loose the Holy Spirit and the Heavenly angels to secure this word so that it reaches its intended people, according to Matthew 16:19 and Luke 10:19 in the omnipotent name of Jesus, Amen.

STOP PEDDLING GODS WORD

It really disturbs me to see how many people out there are peddling, selling, or prostituting God’s word for profit, when salvation is free. God sent, His only begotten Son Jesus, as payment for our sins, years ago. So my question is why are you peddling God’s word for financial gain?

2 Corinthians 2:17 tells us, let’s preach or teach the infallible word of God to save souls, not fill your pockets, to satisfy your own needs. I don’t mind donating to your ministry, but don’t tell me, how much to give, that’s God’s job. Trust me, if you are living in righteousness and you are walking with God like Enoch (Genesis 5:21-24) walked with Him, then God will let us know how much to donate to your ministry. Listen, it’s time to stop coaxing people to give $100 and $200 seed, just send the book, DVD or CD then allow God to manifest, and show Himself mighty. The God, I serve tells us in the Bible that, “My God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory through Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19). Now, I must have a different Bible from all these folks, because the Jesus we follow tells us, “And whatever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask anything in My name I will do it” ( John 14:13-14). So why are you pressuring the children of God? We are obedient, we throw our tithes, and offerings, and most of us go the extra mile, and give more. So, what is the problem? Put on the belt of truth, and ask yourself, is personal fame and gain more important than God’s word? Is your request for donations more important than saving souls? Has your faith and trust in God deteriorated so low that you resort to selling His word for profit. Be careful, you don’t want to tell God, how many times you preach, and teach in His name, and He reply, “I NEVER KNEW YOU.”

We better start putting on the belt of truth, it’s better to hurt now, than burn later. We can’t love the things of this world, and love God (James 4:4), we can enjoy them, but not love it to a point it consumes and controls us. Let us decrease, so God can increase, and people can get saved. The only one who can save anyone is God, through Christ Jesus His Son. Do what God called you to do, and leave the rest to Him. “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness, and everything else will be added unto you” (Matthew 6:33).

LIKE OR ASHAMED

It is amazing what people are quick to put like, and dislikes to, yet when it is something about God they put nothing. Is this because, they are ashamed to be associated with God, or they just don’t like the God who created them. ”Everything is pure to those whose hearts are pure, but nothing is pure to those who are corrupt and unbelieving, because their minds and consciences are defiled. They profess they know God; but in works they deny Him, being abominable, and disobedient, and disqualified for every good work” (Titus 1:16-17). ”Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the Kingdom of Heaven, but he that doeth the will of my Father, who is in Heaven. And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you; depart from me, ye that work iniquity” (Matthew 7:21-23).

Hold up now, I am just a messenger, I am not trying to get you to like what I write, I am just delivering a message. You are so quick to click “like” and “share” the filth the devil is promoting on Facebook, but God’s word you are ashamed of, why is that so? No I am not telling you what to do, you are grown, I can’t tell you who to serve, love or worship, go ahead with your grown, over educated, bad – self. Lol, no this doesn’t mean I am laughing out loud, this is not a joke and it’s not by any means funny. I am telling you, lol means to Love Our Lord, that’s what I meant. You see, ‘For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain’ (Philippians 1:21). ’For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ.’ (Romans 1:16), are you?

So put some scriptures out there, spread the word of God, it just might be something, someone out there wanted to hear, but if you are ashamed don’t do it. I am just a workman that is not ashamed to rightly divide the word of truth, after studying it ( 2 Timothy 2:15).
