AGAPE LOVE

What am I living for, if not for God. If loving God  is wrong, then I don’t want to be right. People throw around this word(love) daily, as if they mean what the word dictates. Some people get married under the umbrella of love, for better or worse, richer or poorer, sickness or health, but as soon as worse, or poorer, or sickness comes they are the first to tell you it’s not going to work, or they didn’t sign up for this, the best is, when they say, I don’t love you anymore, or they fall out of love, or grow out of love, as if it’s a piece of clothes that doesn’t fit, or used furniture. But stop for a second, and think,who loves you unconditionally? and who should the love you are giving away so freely go to?

Let me explain something, that most people don’t get or understand, the origin of love is God, and it starts out with giving. ‘For God so loved the world, He gave, His only begotten son, Jesus the Christ, that whosoever believeth on Him will not perish, but have eternal life'(John 3:16), now that’s the epiphany, and essence of love ladies and gentlemen.

Gods whole character is love, and His love starts with giving of a gift. Can you imagine, if God decides to divorce us, or falls out of love with us. Gods love letter to the world (Corinthians 13), demonstrates to us what love is, not what it ought to be, and if you look at verse thirteen it tells us, ‘and now abides faith, hope, love….but the greatest of the three is love’. Friends if God, is not the focal part of the marriage, then you have problems, divorces, adultery, and the works. ‘He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love'(1 John 4:8). Most people fail to realize this scripture, ‘thou shalt love the lord thy God, with all thy heart, with all thy soul, and with all your mind…then thy neighbor as thyself'(Matthew 22:37-40) this places us in the third spot, or position.

Listen folks, grace be with all them that love the Lord(Ephesians 6:24),we love Him, because He first love us( 1 John 4:19), God has loved us with an everlasting love(Jeremiah 31:3), greater love hath no man, than Jesus who laid down His life for us(John 15:13), love covereth all sins(Proverbs 10:12,1 Peter 4:8)

PRAYERS THAT ARE HEARD

Father in heaven, I come before you today, in the mighty Name of your only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, standing in the gap, and interceding on behalf of my brothers and sisters in Christ, and their families, my family, my friends, associates, and all my internet families, Facebook, twitter, bloggers,etc…, both near and far, all over the globe. I’m seeking forgiveness of all the sinful things we have done, said or even thought in the past, present, and future, even the sins of our deceased generations. Father in 1 John 1:9 it is written, that if we confess our sins, you are faithful, and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Father help us, to walk according to your will and ways that you have planned for us. Father in the Name of Jesus, I exercise the authority, and power you give me in (Luke 10:19) to bind, the devil’s hands off of your people, his sickness, diseases, hate, lack, and everything that is contrary to Your word, in the name of Jesus, and I ask you to loose the Holy Spirit to do what He needs to do in our lives and I loose healing (1 Peter:24), prosperity (Philippians 4:19), and the fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22), in Jesus name, according to (Matthew 18:18). Devil your eviction notice have been served! Now Heavenly Father I thank you for those whom You have healed, delivered, and set free in the Name of Jesus, the name that is above every name (Philippians 2:9-11). Father, Your word says, in John 14:13-14, that whatsoever we shall ask for in Jesus’ Name it will be done, so that our Heavenly Father will be glorified. It is also written, in Numbers 23:19 that God is not a man, that He should lie, or repent, or not do what He says. Then Hebrews 6:18 tells us that it is impossible for God to lie. Also 2 Peter 3:9 tells us that God is not slack concerning His promises. So Father, Your word said it, I believe it, I accept, and receive it, I consider it done, signed, sealed, and delivered in Jesus Name. Amen.

OUR BIGGEST ENEMY

Devil, I hear you knocking, but you can’t come in.

I must tell you this folks, the devil does not take vacations, but we all wish he did. Sometimes we all could use a break, but we must be sober, and vigilant, because the devil is like a roaring lion, walking around, looking for people to devour (1 Peter 5:8).

Well, if you’ve never been under attack by the devil then you know whose you are? and who your father is ( John 8:44). But, as Christians we don’t worry about the devil, because, “Greater is He, who is in us, than he that is in the world” (1 John 4:4). You must understand, and realize that our faith is the God, who created this universe, which means we are serving the true, and living God; who sent His only begotten Son to save us (John 3:16, John 6:40, Philippians 1:9-11).

Let me break it down to you my friends. Without Faith, it is impossible to please God. For he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11:6). The gift of faith is one of three power gifts, and every believer gets a measure of it (Romans 12:3). Faith my friends, cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17).

Folks, you must understand that your prayers, will not be answered if you don’t believe, or know the only God, who answers prayers.  And, His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, is the only way to God (John 14:6, John 8:32). As I said before, without  faith it is impossible to please God. Now let me explain, what faith is. ”It is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen …it’s through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God (Hebrew 11:1-3). Stay with me, remember, faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Listen to this, “For the word of God is quick, powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul, and spirit, and of the joints, and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Seeing then that we have a great High Priest, who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have not a high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore, come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need (Hebrews 4:12-16).

As a child of God, it’s a privilege to know that, God never slumbers nor sleeps (Psalm 121:3-4), so faith in God allows us to go to sleep (Psalms 3:5-8).

BENEFITS

Benefit is advantage, favor, profit or good which some people have, and some don’t. When you start adding up your sorrows then you will increase your pain, and leave you, with a depressed and burdened down feeling. However, if you start adding up your benefits and blessings it will multiply your joy.

Here is a list of benefits that  multiply my joy: (1) God forgives all my sins through His son Jesus Christ. (2) He heals my sickness and diseases. (3) He redeems my life from destruction. (4) He crowns me with loving kindness. (5) He shows me tender mercies. (6) He satisfies my mouth with good things, so that I am renewed like the eagle. (7) When I am oppressed, He executes righteousness and judgment. (8) Once I abide or stay in righteousness and holiness, like Moses, He will reveal His will for me. (9) He is merciful and gracious. (10) He is slow to anger and plenteous in mercy. (11) He hath not dealt with me based on my sins. (12) He has not rewarded me according to my iniquities. (13) On top of all that. He wakes me up every day and gives me goodness and mercies, plus a whole lot more. All this is found in the Bible, Psalm 103:1-13; John 3:16; Proverbs 68:19.

Now you tell me, who else has a better benefit package than a child of God? Keep in mind,  this is just a few scripture verses and benefits.

Philippians 4:19 – He shall supply all my needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus, not by the government or some human.

Listen, it’s a privilege, honor and a blessing to serve God. Look at what’s taking place around the world. If it’s not war, it’s earthquake, then tsunami. You better take advantage of His benefits to be on the safe side, alive or dead. What are you waiting on? Look at what happened in Japan! Trust me all the people who accepted Jesus are safe and secure, on earth or in heaven the good thing is they are safe and secure in God’s arms. Come on and enjoy the benefits that salvation gives.
