Who is your first option when you are faced, with trials and tribulation ? Is it your family, friends,or the pastor. Most people wants to know what to do,during trials and tribulation, the answer is simple, seek God. Deuteronomy 4:30-31 says,”When thou are in tribulation, and all things are come upon thee, even in the latter days,if thou turn to the Lord thy God,anf shall be obedient unto His voice. For the Lord thy God is a merciful God,He will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which He swore unto them”. Did you know that,”Many are the afflictions of the righteous;but the Lord delivereth him out of them all” {Psalms 34:19}. So why would anyone look anywhere else for help ? Is it because, you don’t know Him or have a relationship with Him ? Or don’t you take Him at His word ? What is it that would make you not seek,or tur to God ? Is it unbelief, hopelessness,or just sin. However, the most rewarding and comforting scripture for me is 2 Corinthians 4:15-18,”For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many may increase{and redound} to the glory of God. For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen;for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal”. If you are a christian this should be comforting, and remember what Philippians 4:6-7 “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything,by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God,and the peace of God,which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus”. I would rather go to God in prayer, than anyone else in the whole world.
