NO TURNING BACK

Luke 9:62
But Jesus said to him, “No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.” The song says, The cross before me the world behind me,no turning back. This should be every believers song. style=”text-align:justify;”>“I can’t go back, I won’t go back to the way it used to be, before His presence came and changed me.”

When we make a covenant with God it’s for life. What puzzles me is why would someone turn back or turn away from God. There is nothing to go back to. And the second you turn back it will bring calamity and disaster because you kindled God’s anger,and puts you in situation worse than before as,John 5:14 indicates.
Afterward Jesus found him in the temple, and said to him, “See, you have been made well. Sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon you.”

Sometimes while we are experiencing the land, flowing with milk and honey, which is success, fame, fortune and everything that’s good and prosperous in life some people tend to forget that it is God that supply’s all our needs according to His riches in glory through Christ Jesus. It is then we start to idolize the car, house and whatever else, that will kindle His anger and expose us to all kinds of trouble.

All throughout the Bible we see when God has always been there for His people or children. Therefore, if things happen because of disobedience then we can’t blame Him. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us to trust God, not ourselves and acknowledge Him. Psalm 91 tells us that if we dwell in His secret place we will abide under His shadow and He will be our fortress and help.

If you don’t want to have nothing to do with God, then He will have nothing to do with you. However, repentance will bring restoration. If we remain in disobedience,  instead of blessings we will be rewarded with curses. In Deuteronomy 30:19-20 we see that God has given us all a choice between life and death and between blessings and curses and He call on Heaven and earth to witness the choice we make, and He suggests that we choose life. So if you don’t it means you choose the alternative which will lead to destruction.

As Joshua said in Joshua 24:15 choose for yourself this day whom you will serve.

“And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

All glory, honor, praise and thanks go to God for using me to deliver this message. I pray that He will give all who read this message the spiritual gifts necessary to comprehend and act upon His word. I exercise my power and authority in the name of Jesus to bind every tactic of the enemy that will try to stop, hinder, or prevent this word from reaching its intended people. I loose the Holy Spirit and the Heavenly angels to secure this word so that it reaches its intended people, according to Matthew 16:19 and Luke 10:19 in the omnipotent name of Jesus, Amen.

NO RESPECT/REGARDS

With all the education, advanced technology, signs and wonders of events taking place in the world today people’s minds are still closed. Their hearts are hardened to the fact and reality that there actually is a God. They have no respect or regard for God and choose to live ungodly lives. They are hopelessly confused and do not care about right or wrong. Having lost all sensitivity, they have given themselves over to sensuality so they can indulge in every kind of impurity with a continual lust for more (Ephesians 4:17-19) while sinking deeper in sin.

In Jeremiah 5:21-25 the Lord said,

“Listen, you foolish and senseless people; who have eyes but do not see, who have ears but do not hear. Do you have no respect for Me? Why do you not tremble in my presence? I, THE LORD, am the one who defines the ocean’s sandy shoreline, an everlasting boundary that the waters cannot cross. The waves may toss and roar, but they can never pass the bounds I set”.

 Now, in the twenty-first century,  God is allowing the water to pass the shoreline because of sin and disobedience. Lets continue reading the gospel shall we.

“But my people have stubborn and rebellious hearts, they have turned against Me and have chosen to practice idolatry; They do not say let us fear the Lord our God, who has given us rain every spring and fall, assuring us of unlimited harvest. However our wickedness has deprived us of these wonderful blessings, your sins have robbed you of all good things”

 In the thirtieth verse He continues by saying,

 “a horrible and shocking thing has happened in the land: The prophets prophesy lies, the priests rule by their own authority and the worse thing is my people love it that way! But what will you do when the end comes?’

In Deuteronomy 30: 15-20 it is written as follows:

“Now listen! Today I am giving you a choice between prosperity and disaster as well as life and death. I have commanded you today to love the Lord our God and keep His commands, laws and regulations by walking in His ways. Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh I hope that you would choose life, that you and your descendants might live”

In the seventeenth verse of Deuteronomy it reads,”But if your heart turns away and you refuse to listen, and if you are drawn away to serve and worship other gods, then I warn you now, that you will certainly be destroyed.”

 My friends, there are no more excuses we can find to disregard the word we hear from the Lord.
